Unfortunately, we were only able to stay for one night. We did have time before our business dinner to sit by the pool and enjoy drinks and a great lunch. Will definitely recommend to others!!

Nothing to like. Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not What You’d Expect from a Luxury Hotel Our recent stay at The Peninsula Hotel in Los Angeles was extremely disappointing and far from the standard we expected. From check-in to check-out, we encountered consistent issues with both the service and cleanliness. Firstly, the staff was surprisingly rude and unaccommodating throughout our stay. The front desk experience was unpleasant, with unhelpful and dismissive attitudes that made us feel unwelcome from the start. To make matters worse, the room was not properly maintained. A kettle brought to our room was not only dirty but also had visible mold inside — an unacceptable oversight for any hotel, let alone one of this supposed standard. Around the hotel, we noticed carelessly left cleaning wipes hanging in multiple places, adding to the general feeling of neglect and lack of hygiene. Finally, during check-out, we were incorrectly charged for breakfast we never had. The hotel attempted to add a bill of $81–$90 to our account, which we firmly disputed. This left us with a lasting negative impression and a strong sense of frustration. Overall, this was a deeply unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting genuine hospitality, cleanliness, or professionalism.

Comfortable, quiet, and old-world elegant with a lovely garden in the courtyard. High tea was delightful. We were able to see fireworks from a cabana by the pool. The staff was kind in a way that felt genuine. IPad in room didn’t work. No coffee in room but coffee until 8 am in the lobby.

I think I understand why cars must be parked and retrieved by valets, and yet when all the occasions for tipping are included and when one doesn’t always carry cash, that can be a bit stressful for one who wants to honor labor

We were escorted to our room by Angelee who was so sweet. Our room was absolutely beautiful. From the personalized birthday cake, champagne, fruit tray to the monogrammed pillow shams; this beautifully appointed room took our breath away! Gary assisted us with our luggage and brought us extra water bottles. He was knowledgeable about the property’s amenities and gave us great recommendations. Every time we returned to the hotel, we were addressed by our name. This was a special occasion, my daughter’s 21st birthday and Everyone at the Peninsula truly went above and beyond! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Belvedere and a delightful afternoon tea in the living room. Cannot wait for our next visit!

Everything was perfect but i booked a car for my son's movie premiere and even they confirmed with me twice when i went downstairs they told me there is no car booked and i had to book an uber which that caused a delay for our event.

Even though this property is more expensive than nearby hotels, it's a good value considering the service and amenities. My only minute complaint is that check-in is at 8am, and my room was ready when we arrived, but we had to wait for staff to "inspect" the room before being taken up. It seems an inspection could have taken place after the room was readied. We had to wait about 20 minutes. Part of that time may have been waiting on the bellhop to place luggage. The person checking me in said she'd call my mobile phone when the room was actually ready, but she did not offer any suggestions about where to wait. Other than that experience, the service was excellent.

From the anytime check in and check out, the wonderful fruit basket and complimentary deserts, monogrammed pillow cases, and over the top service from everyone. Complimentary transportation and they even allowed use of the Rolls Royce. My families most memorable stay ever! Thank You!!

my room was not ready when I checked in and they gave me an upgrade to a villa. that was nice. however they did not restock the mini bar the entire time I was there. also it always took more than one phone call to get ice. since I was in a villa I could not just go down the hall to get ice. I had to call for everything. otherwise service was prompt. the spa was excellent. I had 2 spa services and it could not have been better!

We love he Peninsula! The service is great…valet, check in, everything. The restaurants are very good and we love the bar. The beds are amazing. Unfortunately, they fell short on this visit. Three times we could not get into our room due to a problem with the lock. The first time was comical as the service people tried to “break in” to our room using some gadget under the door from outside the door slipped under the door to try to open it by pulling down on the door handle. After 40 minutes it was not so comical. This happened twice more before they tore out and replaced the lock mechanism. We never heard from management…except for the gigantic bill!

AMAZING! If we didn’t have to catch a plane today we may have stayed through the weekend! Every staff member was super friendly and accommodating. From the check-in champagne, in-room fruit platter AND initialized pillow, just amazing. We even talked about how nice it would be to live here! The room was immaculate and super clean.
