The river walk was easily accessible and a great location for great restaurants and bars. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nothing it was all great.

We frequent this resort. The Riverview and spacious pool and courtyard are breathtaking and relaxing. The staff is excellent and the rooms are always clean and very comfortable. Our only requests would be outside maintenance needs some updating probably due to storm damage. And a microwave in the rooms as a added amenity would be nice.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The bathtub/shower didn't drain so we had water in the tub. The staff were notified and said it will be addressed.

The staff was great; however, the room could have been much better. The tub needs to be unclogged — I was standing in still water during even a short shower. The bathroom also needed a deep cleaning, as there were noticeable spots. In addition, there were no vending machines available for snacks or drinks.

First thing that I noticed when we got off the elevator was how dirty the hallway carpet was. At least vacuum it. Second time we got to the room the key card didn't work. Waited 15 minutes for someone to come up

Beautiful location. Pool was nasty. Rooms were small with minimal furniture. Bathroom was the size of a closet. Would have expected more from Marriott.

A la hora del checking una persona del staff nos dijo que la habitación que pagamos no el aparecía en el sistema. Y que debía esperar 20 minutos por una nueva habitación. Ya nos había dado las llaves, así era llegó otra persona y dijo eso y le asignaron la habitación a otra persona. Luego esperamos los 20 min y estaba ya otra persona. Está otra persona no entendió que había pasado porque en el sistema estaba todo bien y procedió a darnos las llaves del tipo de habitación que pagamos. Todo bien en la estadía. Muy buen hotel. Y buen lugar.

I had high hopes but felt disappointed sadly. Location great, entrance and lobby very clean and modern, staff very welcoming and friendly but corridor to rooms and rooms themselves are old and feel dated. Room was suite and good size but beds uncomfortable, sheets not great quality, comforter thin and felt old.

Though I will say, the one shining moment from the entire stay was Rae Rae ( forgive me if I misspelled her name ) and her customer service. She's unbelievably kind and welcoming and if I had to stay in this hotel again, it would solely be because of her.

This would likely be more ideal for a business trip stay. I didn’t see anything family oriented or inviting. The place is very old and needs a major upgrade. The AC unit was so loud it was hard to sleep. There was hair in the shower before we even used it. The lighting was so dim that it felt rather depressing. The lady at the front desk upon check in was super kind and professional. Overall I felt I spent was more than what I should have for this place.

There were cockroaches in my room. They sent somebody in the morning to spray and plug your hole in the corner where the roaches were coming in the toilet didn’t flush and the shower handle fell out. Property needs a lot of upgrading room 118 fyi

Great neighborhood location: Safe, clean, upscale. And after a long day at the beach, this hotel was the perfect spot to shower and relax. There WERE some closer hotels to the beach, but they were far more expensive. This hotel also offers little things that make a difference, such as citrus infused water in the spacious lobby, a connected Starbucks, and TVs with streaming services.

Zero issues, as everything was perfect.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I saw a few people with dogs on leashes in the lobby so I assume that the hotel welcomed pets. The hotel is about 1.5 miles from LECOM Park and 3.2 miles from Pirate City. This hotel is a good choice for Pirates or Mauraders fans.

We visited for Spring Training. Property was conveniently located to LECOM Park and the Riverwalk made some restaurants easily walkable. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Housekeeping was outstanding!

The property is starting to show its age. The equipment in the gym was good. The carpeting needs replacement or at least a thorough steam cleaning. The room was very clean when we checked in. The towels are SO soft. The exterior needs a lot of repair including the beautiful fountain in the courtyard. A huge plus is that it is located on the River Walk.

We had trouble sleeping with the noisy heat/A/C unit. The engineer was able to turn the fan speed down which helped after 2 bad nights. I could not turn on the shower at all. My husband had to stand in the shower and pull really hard for me. This was not corrected. When I checked ot, I mentioned these 3 things and was assured that my bill would be adjusted. It was NOT! This was the 3rd Year in a row we've stayed here. LAST TIME!!!

What a complete dump. The place smells of mold/mildew. Carpets are filthy throughout and the cracks in the building allow large amounts of condensation on the inside. My balcony door barely shut. Room 513 had to be filled with black mold as I’ve been sick since being in there. Do not stay here.

Bathroom ceali g falling apart, shower curtain rod about to fall off and curtain barely covers half the shower and staff refused to bring extra towels which they only put 3 when the room was booked for 5. Not the quality or service advertised.

The whole place had an old, musty odor, with cobwebs in various places. My room was dusty and the lighting was horrible. Not enough hanging space for towels. Amenities were disappointing. Staff were pleasant enough. Not at all what I would expect from a Marriott property.

Overall satisfaction. I’ve been staying here once a year for the last 3 years and it is always a good experience. Comfort. Clean. Great service. Great Cafe. Good location.

The hotel is about a half-mile from Old Main Street in Bradenton, and it's a beautiful stroll along the Riverwalk. We walked along this route every day. The lobby and rooms are nicer and more updated than the pictures show. We had a spacious room with a king bed, desk, couch, tv with 100 channels, refrigerator, and large bathroom with a huge amount of countertop space. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool and hot-tub every day. Very nice stay, and we would definitely return for the location, amenities, reasonable rates, and friendliness of the staff!

The room was clean. The bed in our room was comfortable, and the amenities were adequate. One thing to note is breakfast is not complimentary. It is provided for a cost. The surrounding area is beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was clean safe and served the purpose. Only negative was all the gates accessing the Riverwalk and the outside were locked maintenance forgot to unlock them in the morning and the Palmetto bug running around my room and then hiding under the platform bed.

With the amount of money we oaid to stay here there was no commentary coffee in the lobby or anything commentary. Not sure if this place is cutting cost but this is almost expected at any hotel. Coming down to the lobby for a fresh hot pot of coffee is the least that you should have for your guest.

Some of the staff who worked the morning shift in cafe not so friendly. Grenville, who served us on Sunday evening 10/05/25 was a wonderful person. We had a great time he was kind took care of our needs. Not having certain things such as water to cook Mac n cheese micro products and the soups. Not a good thing. Not being open for lunch and not opening till 5 not convenient.

100% will stay here again!!! Clean room, building and outdoor areas. The coffee in the room is actually good, spotless bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Balcony views overlook a garden area, very pretty. Staff attended to everything we needed with friendliness, and we had a LOT of extra requests over the week. Beautiful cafe with coffee, breakfast sandwiches and wraps, etc. and the grounds were just so beautiful with an outdoor pool in a garden and a Riverwalk easy walking distance just across the street. Very close to the University Town Center mall, shops and restaurants. Definitely a great pick.

Loved everything except for on site dining options and the "sleeper sofa". The sofa was much too firm to sleep comfortably on. The pool was wonderful. Walked to the river walk, playground, and splash pad while staying on site.

Great location. Staff was amazing. Rooms were also great and absolutely love that they provided a great amount of towels and face towels, makes it extremely convenient! My only complaint was my shower had issues the water took a bit to drain causing a bit of back flow. But again, staff let me have a bit later check out because of inconvenience.

The food was very good. I think it was on five star type rating, but they were very misleading when it came to the breakfast. They will tell you the time they would tell you that it was a continental and they made you think that it was free when it was not that part I did not like because I felt like I should’ve been told ahead of time so I can allocate for it.

Staff was very friendly. The only thing that bothered me was that I paid extra for a balcony room and was put on the ground floor. Was told the balcony rooms was allot smaller.

I checked into the hotel and was a little surprised about the area as there is an abandoned building next door where there were homeless people outside. It was very uncomfortable to go for a walk or see the River as strange people were around. The pool did not have a key to access it which made it possible for anyone to walk in and enjoy this and the spa. On our second day of visiting, we got stuck in the elevator. We kept going up and down and the door would open about a foot wide only. I tried calling for help on the emergency phone and no one at the front desk picked up. It wasn’t until another guest who was waiting for the elevator was able to get the attention of the staff. Our room’s mini fridge barely worked and didn’t keep anything cold enough and we had to throw out food we have purchased to snack on. We saw quite a few cockroaches in the room despite us throwing all trash out twice a day and not keeping anything out. The day of July 4th, the staff closed one of the exits of the parking lot and was charging people to park in the parking lot so that they could attend the fireworks display on the River. We had to wait in line for them to confirm our name and room number. The parking was so full we had to park so far to get to the front of the hotel. All these people who paid $15 to park at the hotel were able to walk into the lobby and sit, use the restroom, get ice from the machine, and worst of all use the amenities.

This was a last minute booking for my daughter's softball tournament. It was my birthday and bad weather and hubby was out of town so we decided to stay to avoid traveling back and forth. We had zero expectations. However, this ended up being the BEST part of my bday weekend thanks to Claire (front desk) and all the various friendly staff. She asked what brought us there and I said my daughter's softball tournament and she then asked are you celebrating anything? I said well it is my birthday today lol. She said let me see what I can do. She then upgraded us to a suite. Just her being so engaging and thoughtful absolutely made my night! Having the extra space esp with all our softball gear was awesome! And the great view was the best 9made me feel like I was on vacation)! This ended up being a one night girls night in retreat! We went to a nice dinner and had girls night in with my daughter what a special night for me! The lady the next morning at the café was also super sweet sorry that I could not remember her name. Sunday Morning my daughter (teen) said Mom I had the best sleep! I said me too! The beds and pillows were super comfy! We do a lot of hotel stays because of softball and this stay is making me want to switch to only Marriott properties! Thank you!

Nice experience, clean and excellent location just a few steps to the riverfront!!!

The room was clean with a nice small balcony overlooking the water. The television had HBO Max subscription which was neat. The downstairs bistro made a good sandwich and a surprisingly good Old Fashioned. Staff were very friendly and cordial.

The property and staff were fantastic but the balcony was not a real balcony. It was too narrow to fit a chair.

Our stay was good, it would have been better if hotel would have a breakfast buffet option.

Mold in the shower and would not drain properly

A very bad experience. The toilet was damaged. We had to call a technician twice, and it took three hours for him to arrive. He fixed it just before we left. We spent the night with the toilet full of our feces. The tub was yellow, and so were the curtains inside. It was very shabby for the price.

All good except the AC unit is very old and extremly noisy

Sink in the bathroom leaked very bad and called the front desk for assistance and no one could come out today. We put a trash bag underneath to catch the water. Maintenance was at the door at 7:30 the next morning wanting to fix it while family and I were still sleeping. My husband went to make a cup of coffee and a cockroach came out. And no complimentary breakfast.

I have stayed at this resort MANY times it was always very pleasant. I won't stay here again.

I gave this hotel a low rating because it was not clean. The hallway that led to our room had a bad odor (not food). Hallway also looked like it was not vacuumed in over a week. Our kids found a beer can on the balcony. Hair found throughout bathroom.

The condition of the hotel is a little worn and needs some updating in a few areas. Our shower didn’t drain and we ran out of soap after the first evening. But they gave us bodywash when we requested it. But otherwise, it is a nice hotel for its price.

This property needs a lot of updating. It is next to the river walk which is nice. They have a restaurant that is connected to the hotel that is boarded up with plywood .

The privacy of the Courtyard Marriott just off the bridge facing the river and onto the Riverwalk trail is safe and picturesque

Our room were staying in smelled and felt very muggy. We did have alive cockroach in one of our bath towels. The worst part was the loud noise that sounded like an outdoor air conditioner unit that would turn on and off throughout the night which would wake up everyone in the room with a loud noise. With that being said it was a very uncomfortable experience for our family with little sleep.

Unfortunately, we were down to attend a family funeral. The accommodations were perfect for us. The room was spacious and clean and staff were more than helpful.

We were happy to be close to our family's and Riverwalk. Staff was friendly. The property is older and we realize they were in the middle of renovations. When I booked the reservations I was not informed that the restaurant on site was closed.There was still debris from the hurricanes outside our room what looked to be shingles and water logged drywall.

I am writing this review to thank the amazing staff at this Marriott location. I was dealing with an extremely stressful family crisis remotely and could not have gotten through it without their help. I am grateful for Claire Jaeger and Rayana Waters for their patience, empathy and being so accommodating. You ladies have no idea what your kindness meant to me and my mother. Thank you!

This property is undergoing renovations and does not have all of the accommodations. The water did not not work properly and the facility was dirty. Complimentary breakfast was offered but the options were limited. We were very unhappy with our stay . Refund requested

Check in was fast, friendly and smooth. Room was clean and a nice size. Bathroom soaps smell nice. Staff at the front counter was always friendly as i would come and go. Lots of construction right now, but they seem to have covered everything and are trying to make it effect the guests as little as possible. Parking was easy. Nice view of the water.

Great location, room was great. View from balcony had many piles of debris from construction. They are doing interior construction so it was very loud. Due to construction restaurant/bar was closed. A continental breakfast on 3rd floor. Very minimal with coffee, cereals, bagels, some fruit and packaged danishes.

Booked a king and when i checked in they overbooked so I was left with queens and they called it an upgrade when I get a smaller bed. Elevators were out of service so you needed to haul all your stuff to the top floor by stairs.
