An old building that has been retained and made into a Hotel. Rooms were spacious. Lost power in my room, although they were super fast to change my room, and will there was power the lights as you walk into the room did not work and the lights next to the bed did not work.

Staff was amazing, I was able to check out earlier after driving for a while. The room did smell humid/smokey.

We chose to stay here as we were fishing with some friends and the marina was just 5 minutes across the bridge. Everything we’ve come to expect from Hampton Inn was evident here. Convenient parking, clean rooms, good breakfast and wonderful staff! Plus as history buffs we enjoyed all of the small reminders of the origin of the building you find around the property.

The staff in the front desk weren't too friendly.The breakfast room was too small for a big hotel.When I was showering the body wash ran out.And the air conditioner wasn't working too well beacause I was sweating at 3 in the morning.

Convenient location, decent parking, beautiful inside and outside. My room didn’t get cleaned until later in the day, around dinner time. We left in the morning for hours, came back, and they weren’t even at our door. By that time, we wanted to shower and get ready for dinner, but felt like we had to leave the room fast in order for it to get cleaned.

My favorite hotel while I’m in Bradenton. Love the Tuscan inspired lobby!

Upon arriving for my Mother’s Day getaway from my 5 children, we attempted to check in. However, the room was not prepared for check-in, so we waited approximately 15/20 minutes in the lobby until the room was ready. Upon arrival, we proceeded directly to the room & discovered a severely moldy shower, dirty & scuffed walls that clearly required attention. The presence of such mold made the room feel unsafe. Considering the other reviews & the room’s cost for 1 night, I had high expectations, which were further diminished by the room’s condition. We then made our way to the pool, attempting to process the situation & question how the hotel could charge nearly $400 for a room that was so small & lacked even a small refrigerator to keep beverages cold. Upon exiting the hallway, we inquired with a staff member about the availability of pool towels & the location of the pool. She informed us that towels could be retrieved just inside the door by the pool. However, there were no towels on the shelving, & we discovered an empty pool that was small & heavily soiled. Shortly after, we received a text message from the hotel inquiring about the quality of our stay. Seizing the opportunity, we expressed our disappointment & concerns regarding our safety. The hotel offered us an upgrade to a new room that would not have a balcony, which was the primary reason for our initial booking. However, I was skeptical of its improvement & requested a refund they completely refused. We left.

Beautiful historic site hotel, nice situation near the river. Excellent breakfast and service. Parking generally fine but awkwardly placed with some available directly on site, some across the street, and more in the next block. Sufficient safe spaces for all but for those with very small children and strollers or folks with mobility issues that could be a potential challenge. Definitely a great choice otherwise.

We always enjoy staying at Hampton Inn. This property in Downtown Bradenton is beautiful and staff is excellent! The only thing I would improve is the cleanliness of the room as we had a dirty trash can in the bathroom and found previous guest items under the sofa pullout. We enjoyed our brief stay there!!

The parking was easy to find right in front of the building. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet with hot and delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel did not have the corner king room we reserved (and paid for) available. Tried to convince us our interior room was actually on the corner. Also said hotel was ‘sold out’ so the room you reserved was not available. We booked 3 months in advance. Tried speak a manager for 2 days but were unavailable and received no call back. Finally the incorrect room we were given had a huge spotlight that lit the building shining right in our room.

Loved the location it was an easy walk-two blocks to restaurants and entertainment. The hotel is beautiful. They did a great job restoring considering it's an old historic building. Staff was nice at check-in. I would stay again.

I am a Hilton Honors member and wanted to share feedback regarding my recent stay, as the experience did not meet the standards I typically associate with the Hilton brand. I arrived at the hotel around 1:00 AM after traveling, and at that hour all I was hoping for was a clean room, a working television, and the ability to get a good shower and night’s sleep. Unfortunately, the room was noticeably old and not clean. I found a woman’s hair in the shower, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. In addition, the television in the room did not work. The following morning, the breakfast quality was very disappointing. The food was bland, and the texture was unappetizing almost plastic-like. On top of that, the staff interactions were not very pleasant, and overall hospitality at this location felt severely lacking. There appears to be a need for improved customer service and hospitality training at this site. I wanted to bring this to your attention because this experience fell well below expectations, especially as a Hilton Honors member who regularly stays at Hilton properties. I hope this feedback can be used to address these issues and improve the guest experience moving forward.

Check in was seamless. The room was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable and the staff were very friendly and professional. We will definitely stay there again when our travels take us this way!

The parking was inadequate, and our room towels were changed out the 2nd day only. We asked for the room to be cleaned on our 4th day and we were gone all day, at 4 pm the room still had not been attended to and we told cleaning staff to forget it we were back in the room to stay. There was no fridge to cool our drinks which was very inconvenient. Also at 4 in the afternoon they came to in the room next to us, it was loud and disruptive. This is not something we would book again.

Love this Hampton property. Well appointed hotel on a historic building in downtown Bradenton. Safe for evening walk for a nice dinner on the Manatee River. We will definitely stay there again if we need a place in Bradenton for ourselves or visiting guest.

Room was large with a couch, desk and separate kitchen area. The hotel was lovely and so well located to the Bishop museum and other Bradenton sites. Breakfast was complete with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, hot and cold cereal and lots of fresh fruit. In the lobby they had a daily cold beverage stop. Will return!

Room was clean and well maintained. The check in and out was effortless. The rear exit door lock at a certain time and the key port sis not work for ya to get back in, fortunately the front desk worker was returning to the area. Also the ice maker sis not work on the 6th floor and we weren’t told this.

Parking was an issue when we got to the hotel at night after dinner. Had to use a separate lot which was not very well lit.

This appears to be an historic building and it's very nicely restored. Attractive public spaces. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed. Breakfast is standard free hotel fare but the breakfast room is much too small and it was usually impossible to get a table. I had to sit in the lobby.

Check in service was very good. We had a fire alarm during the night which we had to get out of the hotel fast with only our pjs. It was a very scary experience. While we were going outside due to the alarms we didn’t see any one that worked at the hotel to help us go where we needed too. I have a disability and was very hard to get down 5 flights of stairs

Breakfast could be improved in freshness and furniture refurbished in dining area. Checked in Thursday with multiple activities each day. Had to request more towels when none had been replaced by Saturday afternoon. Staff was friendly and responsive especially when help was needed to get cell phones to recharge. We have stayed here repeatedly over the years just a little disappointed this time

Checked our room out and it was ok, the carpet is fraying, bed fine. That evening we encountered the shower dripping all night long and the next morning when in the shower looked like pink mildew. We have stayed here 2 times before and we considered it a treat to be here so needless to say we were VERY disappointed this time. We told the check out person and they simply said we will address it with maintenance.

I then noticed toilet wouldn’t flush and water kept running. At this point I did request a room change. His only solution was to have us wait for maintenance and they would fix it. I decided to decline and figured out how to weight down stopper each time so we could shower and meet our deadline for our visit. We felt we were underserved for the price we paid and staff is not helpful when they just state that’s “our policy”. I don’t think advertising a room and getting it booked and switching is a good policy. I’ve never had a problem switching rooms when we enter it’s not to satisfaction and things are not working. Most Hampton inns are awesome. This one was not.

Stay with great hotel was wonderful. A historical accents inside were a great touch from the original hotel. Only gripe I have would be there was no refrigerator in the room. Other than that, the stay we had for our anniversary in the King balcony room was wonderful.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hampton Inn in downtown Bradenton. The hotel was very nice and the staff pleasant. We had the included breakfast both mornings we were there and both times were happy with the choices available. One evening we walked over to the Pier for dinner and enjoyed that also. An easy walk. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

All the staff are excellent, everything is great, the only thing I didn't like was the shower because there wasn't much water coming out.

The property has been completely renovated. It’s a 100 yr old building with lots of charm. Great location. Close to the river walk (dolphins) and restaurants. The beach, museums, fort De Soto just minutes away by car.

A nice and unexpected addition to our vacation

Not good - short Toilet height for elderly. Location of shampoo dispenser in shower on wrong wall and too high. Bed mattress too hard. Only one chair in room. No full-length mirror, No refrigerator, No microwave.

I requested maintenance to check the toilet in our room(not flushing properly) on 3 SEPARATE occasions. NO ONE followed through with our request.

We stayed for one night, Natasha, the front desk associate that checked us in was professional, quick and pleasant. She gave us a very nice suite but unfortunately the hotel was having AC issues that night. It was very warm in our room and ended up requesting a portable fan. It helped a little. Service and attentiveness were great! Will definitely stay again here in the future

The room itself was quite spacious and well designed. Shower pressure good. The red walls just seemed a bit dated.

We wanted to be close to the museums and could walk from the Hotel to the museum. The great views from our room and the morning breakfast was a special plus plus. I will definitely book there again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn, except for the overflow parking. I do not believe there were enough parking spots around the hotel or for the hotel to accommodate all the guest.

There were lights outside the window which couldn't be totally blocked and the street noise was loud. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly

Great hot breakfast, walking distance from the water, and 24 hr coffee were some of the highlights. Also, the charger for my cell phone wasn’t working and the front desk staff were very gracious with allowing me to borrow the one at reception each day to recharge. Clearly a well managed property.

The a/c was extremely loud. But the worst was the outside lights affixed to the building (bright LED’s!) we closed the blackout curtains, and the bright lights still came through the top and bottom of the curtains! we tried to cover the bottom with blankets, but the top shown through like it was daylight out. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast and the staff were very good in a location convenient, but I likely will not stay there again. Felt old and dirty in the room. Address the dirty windows (green mold too) and look close at the curtains they have mildew stains!

We had a great time. Breakfast was good yet the hot area could use more options and also a bigger space because it was constantly being refilled as it was a very small compartment. Front desk was amazing, helping put a pack and play in the room. I will say the queen beds are not really queen more like full size. Overall great and neat hotel.

Our two night stay was great! Hotel was quiet, front desk was very attentive, & best part is that the hotel is close to restaurants. It also has decent parking space considering it's in a busy area. The courts are close and parking can be hectic, so it was nice to have dedicated spaces when the hotel parking lot filled up. Our room was nice, we got upgraded and had a balcony. The sunsets were amazing! The only downside was when other rooms would flush or shower, we'd lose pressure in our shower. Also, if someone flushed we would hear it in our shower drain. It's an old building, so probably something with plumbing,however, not ta big deal. Hotel was also close to shops. We will definitely stay there again!
