Sad thing I stayed there like 10 years ago and it was fine....they need to fix it up and do regular maintenance on it But the lady at the front desk was pretty nice and tried to help

Our stay at Days Inn Bradenton - Near the Gulf from May 23–25, 2026, was without question the worst hotel experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the experience was unacceptable. The hotel requires a security deposit, and according to the information clearly displayed on Booking.com at the time of reservation, this deposit should be returned before departure. However, more than a week after check-out, we have still not received our refund, nor have we been given any explanation regarding the delay. We specifically booked and paid for a non-smoking room, yet the room assigned to us was overwhelmed by a strong cigarette odor. The smell was so intense that it made the room extremely uncomfortable and raised serious concerns about whether the non-smoking policy is actually enforced. The problems did not stop there. The air conditioning barely worked, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The television was also not functioning properly. Whenever we attempted to contact the front desk using the room phone, our calls went unanswered. It felt as though guest concerns were simply being ignored. To make matters worse, basic toiletries that are commonly provided by even budget hotels were not available. Housekeeping staff knocked aggressively on our door around 8:00 a.m. while we were still asleep, creating an unnecessary disturbance and showing a complete lack of consideration for guests' privacy and rest. On our very first night, our room key card was unexpectedly deactivated despite having paid for a two-night stay. We were forced to return to the front desk to have the issue resolved, causing additional inconvenience and frustration. Overall, this property failed to meet even the most basic expectations of cleanliness, comfort, customer service, and professionalism.

The room was clean, but had a slightly weird smell. There was no shampoo, soap, or conditioner in the bottles. They take a copy of your ID which I think is odd.

Thats why I think I was charged 100.00 security fee. Soone said my room number in check in small office. For security you dont do that.Smoking pot smells. And my room requested was no smoking but it smelled like cigarettes cause people outside room were smoking cigarettes and pot. Big dogs staying in rooms barking very lound. I'm allergic we where sneezing all night. Room over pool dirty,people smoking by pool. Birthday Day Party 12PM lound and no privacy. No place to sit by pool. Windows looking over pool dirty and in very bad shape. Light bulbs missing from lamp. Rv parked in back along with painters work trucks. Telephone filthy dirty. Bathroom shower curtain poor condition water all over when you took shower. Cleaned up floor towels filthy dirty. No iron or board. No drawers for cloths. Paint peeling in shower ceiling. Beds not comfortable. No shampoo or enough soap had to request next day.. Not enough towels or rags to clean up water. Had to request more. So didn't have enough to dry myself off with. Just VERY DISPOINTED WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN OR RECOMMEND.

The location is easily accessible and close to many restaurants. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. My recommendation would be making the reservation area more inviting.

We stayed only one night. At arrival at the property it looked very sketchy. We had no idea the reviews it had already. When we got to the room there was tons of people smoking. There was No Smoking signs everywhere. Our room smelled like cigarettes, I found roaches and the bed cover had a stain to what it looked like blood. We were able to switch to another room. That one had no smell but we still found a good amount of roaches and the shower had no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. I was giving only a small container. I informed the front desk about the roaches but it seemed like he didn’t care and told us management will call us. Still waiting on that call. Definitely not staying again and don’t recommend this hotel.

The rooms had a musty smell. On the 2nd night we.saw.roaches.in the bathroom. The manager had someone come and spray the room that day. She didn't offer us a different room or a discount on our stay. We couldn't come back to our room for a few hours after they spayed. It was our last night and we couldn't find another hotel nearby so we had to spend our last night there. We saw another roach in the bathroom after the spraying. The hotel was very noisy. They were bringing new furniture in and there were trucks there early in the morning and the workers were talking loudly and yelling early in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel.

The employees are not very friendly, they will charge your card at anytime and for no reason. They like to make up reason why you can't have your deposit back. Worst place I have ever stayed and will never go again.

Was just there for the night. The check in was easy. The room was ok. Could hear the neighbors in the room next door.

The staff were really friendly at check in. The beds were uncomfortable. The toilet was dirty and the shower was also dirty. Stayed for a last minute business trip in the area. The room had kind of an odd smell about it. Kind of a musk/ mold possibly smell.

We needed a hotel near LECOM Park that would not break the bank. The room was newly refurbished and the bathroom room and shower were wonderful. Bedding was clean. Room smelled of stale beer. Also required a $100 deposit over and above room fee. Deposit was refunded.

The stench of smoke in our room was unbearable and the manager would not give us a different room unless we paid for it. She wanted ys to pay for two rooms. We left to find a better place to stay.

I was a little concerned upon seeing the exterior (it is definitely an older Days Inn and not in the best area) but the room was spotless! I was pleasantly surprised at the comfortable bed and pristine bathroom. For the price, I was not expecting perfect, of course, but it was nicer than some of the pricier “good” hotels I’ve stayed in.

It's a rundown hotel that they slapped a Days inn name on. People were standing outside smoking weed. There was dirty mattresses in the parking lot. The walls are paper thin. It was not enjoyable. It was clean but I didn't feel safe. I kept checking on my car

There was a hole in the ceiling plaster and the toilet didn’t flush too well (if at all). TV remote either didn’t work well or needed new batteries. For example, channel down button worked fine but channel up didn’t work at all. On/off took several pushes to work. But the room was quiet and the staff was nice.

Absolutely run down horribly, bathroom handle broken, Kleenex box holder hanging off the wall, sink handle loose and facing incorrect way , rust all over bathroom . Asked for a handicapped room and we get one 50 yards from the handicap parking

We didn’t have coffee pot in room. The TV remote was not programmed for regular TV stations. No clock in room. No continental breakfast. For price of room we should have had these things. Bed was nice.

The floor was dirty and the room needed to be cleaned the yellow cubby was dirty needed a good wipe, and construction workers early in the morning noisy, woke me up. This was the second time I stayed there, the first was okay except for a leaking ceiling, they moved us and it was good.

If you have a family I would not recommend staying here

We booked two nights and left after the first night because my wife and kids did not feel safe. Also the room smelled of humidity so we couldn’t take that anymore as well.

The first room they gave us was full of mold and dirty. We complained and they gave us a slightly cleaner room with less mold, but still had mold. The pool and courtyard had trash everywhere including flooring in the pool and on the pool deck. I included some photos of the mold in the rooms

I like coming here one for the great price and really like the staff in front lobby when I check in the lady at the front desk is so friendly and helpful.

I witnessed alot of people not doing the right thing towards property. Pool takeover People throwing their trash out of their cars. My last nite there at 245 am there was a new group in the room next to me. Knock down drag out fight. I almost called police. It was bad My room was good but it's guetto area. I don't live with that stuff. Have no more to say.

Stayed with my fam for two nights as we enjoyed the Bradenton beaches. Room was what we needed for the price of $100 a night. Nothing super fancy but solid and close to gulf and Manatee River boardwalk. Hardwood floors were nice vs carpet. We could tell the room had been remodeled. AC unit cranked 72 cold the whole time. Loved the extra seating (desk chair and sitting chair. No bfast (ignore the recent review that included that false detail). Best part is it’s across the street from a phenomenal Latin market, cafeteria, and bakery! Cafe con leche, carnitas, and other deliciousness are in walking distance! This made the location worth it for us!

She was with her husband and children. Said the room was disgustng and full of bugs. They didn't stay. I have contacted Pay Pal for a refund.

Walls must have been thin. Had a connecting door and could hear them till 630 in the morning. We didn't sleep all night. Guy next to us was hitting who was staying with him and screaming. Called the front desk almost 4 hrs before they answered the phone . Hotel is ok but the area brings unwanted people there

I will not stay here again about a hour after checking in my head starts to itch went and had it looked at found out I had gotten lice had almost shave my head n buy lice shampoo also had roaches and a drug dealer staying in the room next to mine homeless all over asking for money and to stay in my home

We went to put food/drinks in fridge but there was food already in there & the frigid was not cold. The microwave could not be used because it could not reach the outlet. The toilet was run when we got there and was still running when we left. Cockroach were in the shower and the shower curtain had mold on. We could not sit down in the chairs because they both looked like someone had pissed on then. We decided to just go to bed the sheets smelled like wet dog/dog piss. We started to call the front desk but there was no phone cord/cable to the wall & phone.

It was a cheaper hotel/motel, but the biggest issue we had was we did not feel entirely safe. The room was as to be expected, we were missing a remote to our tv which they took care of but it was a broken remote with tape all over the back and the room smelled like smoke. Other than that the staff was friendly and nice, but the property could use some upgrades

Bad news - no washcloths or soap.

Since the shower drain was not sloped, the bathroom floor was half wet. There is no iron and ironing board in the rooms. The iron we asked from the reception is very old and leaking water. There were fleas in the bed. The refrigerator doesn't cool.

The property is located in an unsafe area, it was nasty and smelled awful. They want you to pay upfront $100 for incidentals when there isn’t anything to purchase there. That information was never disclosed when the reservation was made.

To star when i did my reservation with yiu guys the room that showed in the picture was fine but when we arrive it was something else. I reserved a non smoking room and it was totally opposite. Burned blanket with cigarette. A smashed microwave, holds on the wall. According to you guys the price was $477.00 for two nights and we ended paying over $600.00 with out the deposit. You guys have to be careful with this type of people.

The furniture in the room was old and shabby, and the garbage truck made a lot of noise outside at 5:00 AM. But the worst part was that they did not have any non-smoking rooms available, and I had to endure an odor of stale tobacco. I was booked for seven nights, but I moved out after one.

Outside my room front door there was a dirty space with two garbage cans full.

Cigarette burn holes on the bedspreads, light fixtures, ice bucket and mirrors. No ice. Rope tied to the dresser knobs to open. No where near the Gulf as stated. Double charged for a deposit. Tried mutltiple times to reach the front desk for a dispute once home, and unable to ever speak to a human. Unable to leave a message. On the positive, the air was cold and the water was hot in the shower. Front desk was friendy when checking in and out.

The property and rooms needed updating. My room was a bit run down and in need of some maintenance and repair of several items…though the room was generally clean. The shower water was essentially cold and no attention was given to the problem even after discussing with the front desk.

Delightful. Third party booking definitely had some misleading wording regarding “double rooms” but the Ladies at the front desk were awesome and super accommodating. They were able to switch my room to A more convenient one without any issues. They also accepted Apple Pay for the deposit which was convenient for me. They also have an atm on site at the front entrance, along with a variety of toiletry & etc. items available for purchase.

I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Handles on dresser where broken, used soap was in the shower, smelled of bleach really bad, there was no turntable in microwave i would not have used it even if it did. There where also a few roaches crawling around disgusting.

First room I was given was filthy. Hadn’t been cleaned from previous guest. No sheets on the bed, dirty towels on the floor and leftover garbage was on the counter. I could hear entire conversation of guests in the next room. They weren’t being exceptionally loud, the walls are just that thin. Could also smell them cooking dinner in my room both nights. The door between the rooms had about a 2 inch gap at the bottom which allowed the sounds and smells from the other room to freely enter mine. Would not recommend for any rate, even a steeply discounted rate.

The property is not well kept. It looks unkept. Room curtains dirty as well as wall. Worst thing there were roaches! Had to go out and buy a can of roach killer and spray them and the room. Too expensive at $160 per night for the bad quality. No control over loud noisy guests.

If you only want a bed under a roof, this is for you. If you want more (like security, quiet, reliable wifi, breakfast, etc), keep looking. Staff is great, and doing what they can. But you can only put so many coats of lipstick on a pig.

It is a property that is very old, in an unsafe area, that rents longterm stays to people, lots of animals and pets, etc. Rhis property should not be listed on Expedia. The room which we got which was a “nice” room for non-smoking has not been updated since about 1940. We did not stay and request full refund.

I received no cleaning in my room when I was told I had to have daily cleaning due to my animal. The housekeepers were absolutely rude and when I finally got them to come so my room. My bed sheets were never changed. The floor were mopped, but they were still dirty as hell. I was made to feel awful about using towels to clean up water on the floor with the towels but had no one to come clean it for me. I was told it’s my responsibility to come get rags to clean up any mess. I was also so humiliated in front of future guests and I was made to cry due to the absolute lack of professionalism! Not a good place to stay at.

For the price, the facilities were very low end.
