Every sheet, pillow or blanket had a stain or rip. Found a cockroach on first night. Bathroom was leaking so they switched rooms. Right next to the room with the leak. So I can hear the water dropping all night

Basic amenities were missing — there were no hangers in the closet, no coffee or coffee maker available, and the internet was painfully slow to the point it was almost unusable. What made the experience even worse was the pricing. Because of the recent chemical spill incident in Garden Grove, demand for rooms increased, and it felt like the hotel took advantage of the situation by dramatically raising prices. Charging inflated rates during an emergency situation is incredibly disappointing and leaves a bad impression. Overall, this was an unpleasant experience and definitely not worth the price we paid.

For the price this is a great place to stay. The rooms have been renovated in the past 2-5 years and are in good condition and very clean.

This place is Great very Economical and Convinient to Resturants and Stores. We Travel to California about four times a year. We stay here everytime.

The place was horrible when I checked in the room had human seaman on the air conditioning and wall dripping there were human specimens on the bedding and hair all over even inside the fridge and in the bed and towels and microwave- I wiped the floors with the stained towels and the towels were dark from the filth - the heater and ac did not work and the place was just horrible the staff are rude and actually scream and yell at the customers Stay away- awful place I will never sty here again- I have booked and stayed at many hotels and have never had an experience like this

The property was on a busy, noisy street. The room had a strong chemical smell. I assume it was the cleaning agent. I also had to call my credit card company to get the $50 deposit refunded as the hotel failed to subtract it from the charge. The hotel blamed the credit card company. I had to dispute the charge.

We didn't even stay the night and had to find a new hotel. The staff was very nice when I showed the the pics and refunded me for the room and apologized. So the room itself was terrible but the area and staff were not bad... all I know is that it was not clean at all!

The room, while run down, was mostly serviceable, (Shower and AC functional.) the towels were horrible, but that's almost expected in this price range, and I bring my own, now. But the bed was the absolute worst bed I have ever slept on. Worse than old, thin, barracks mattress in Camp Pendleton Quonset huts, worse than a cot in an GP tent in the desert, and worse than any worn-out, flop-house futon, I've experienced. I tend to prefer firm to extra firm, but this was harsher than actual concrete. I was in pain for weeks after this stay.

The room is priced reasonable for a night stay or two max. There’s early morning traffic noise because it’s close to a busy street. Keep that in mind. Otherwise, easy check in and check out. Basic room to stay, everything worked fine.

Did not expect the room without tissue and without lotion. We were unprepared for that. Felt disappointed.

The price was reasonable for this basic hotel room. There was no breakfast, basic amenities and a tight parking lot (although ample parking for the number of rooms).

Average stay. Room was comfy enough and in clean condition looked solid. Mini fridge is nice to have. Tv remote sucked and the sheets were short and not all comfy but bed was good and pillows also made up for that. There was one single tissue paper in the complimentary tissue box which is almost a joke but not a big deal but decent stay. A little overpriced for this place though.

Everything was great but the bed was hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on the floor. The room was great, would have given 5 stars if the bed was softer.

Room only had a small partial roll of toilet paper, I had to call on the manager to get another roll. No kleenex. Towels were rather worn, frayed. The bed was one of the hardest beds I have ever had to sleep in, felt like an ironing board with a blanket over it. Walls are really thin, could hear conversations from two rooms away.

Was a nice subtle place to stay however bed sheets were stained and had cigarette burns.

It suited our needs. There were a few minor things that could have been improved.

For the price this is a bargain! Always clean inside and out.

This was a horrible stay,due to no tv that worked in 2 rooms they tried.It was compounded on the fact that they had a very hard time communicating and understanding me.They refused to give any discount,but expedia gave me a credit.

To make matters worse, it was loud all night.There’s no seal around the door, so a cold, relentless draft kept us shivering. We couldn’t even use the bathroom—it was disgustingly dirty, with grime and who-knows-what smeared around. And the cherry on top? They don’t just authorize your credit card for a deposit—they charge it outright and say you’ll get a refund in 7-10 days. This place is a complete dump. Save your money and sanity; stay anywhere else.

Bathroom facilities qualities are extremely poor.hot water not working.

Had to ask for toilet paper when I checked in. The one in the room was a almost finished roll. Then when I got room service. They refilled it with another almost finished roll. Had to go ask again for another roll. Noisy surroundings. Tv worked sometimes, remote buttons were worn down. And WiFi seems like got turned off at night. Only worked by the window. Did the speed test and showed it was only 2 mb.

It's hard to rate the surrounding property due to construction but the property itself and the rooms are excellent and comfortable

We were here to visit family for the holidays. Place was nice enough. At check in we were informed we were being charged more money as a security basically and it would be refunded after our trip. We still have not received so I called. The lady was incredibly rude, did not ask our name or room number. She said we damaged the whole room and were charged. The room was immaculate when we left! I asked for photos and she hung up on me. I truly hope people see this and stay away! If she would have asked our info I would have or sent photos but again she just hung up on me. Unacceptable

Beds are like sleeping on a rock. I left a day early. Towels were dirty and the sheets reek of bleach.

It was a good experience, I would say if you are a light sleeper maybe this place might not be the best because it’s on a busy street. The room service is provided but you have to tell them ahead of time.

I stayed 3 nights. Not once was my bedding changed nor did I get clean towels. Poor pressure in shower. Not very hot water. Almost run out of toilet tissue. No extra roll. No Kleenex in room. No ice. Heavy noisy traffic. Will not stay there again.

Easy patking

The front desk personnel were in PJs at check in and check out. They have us grief bc we have digital Driver licenses and bc the card we used was not my husbands but mine. The reservation was under my husbands name but the card I used on hotels.com was mine. Room was a non-smoking rm but there was smoking taking place outside our room and the smoking came in through the AC unit.

The front desk manager is one of the nicest people and always helpful with a smile. Budget friendly and feels like home.

The sheets did not stay on the bed. Used a small flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet. Shower knob was backward so trying to figure out how to get hot water was a chore.

This property has bad management,I booked a room for two adults, went to the room and there was water on the floor had to use a towel to dry it up ,even though I booked a room for two the old man at the reception refused to let me bring my companion, he said that that room was for only one person,had to pull my itinerary out for him,I went back to the room and grabbed my stuff and left the premises less than three hours after checking in,charged me 15 bucks more and also refused to talk to my representative after one call,terrible customer service I wish I didn’t book this place,book this place at your own risk!

The first thing i noticed was the horrible smell in the room. Turned on the AC and then it just got a mold smell. The bedvwas as hard as sleeping on the ground, literally. The pillows were so worn they folded them in half in the pillow case to hold them together. The sheets were stained and zero room service for clean towels. No refund policy or we would have left and checked into another hotel. If the scores allowedva negative submission, thats what they would have gotten. Won't even allow me to upload pictures

The room was exceptionally clean. You can hear no noise from street traffic from inside the room. I think they have an electric water heater - it takes a few moments for the water to heat up. I would stay there again.

This establishment is a microcosm of the macrocosm that is the western world currently. I imagine at one time it was a very nice place ran by people who belonged and had a connection to the community they served. During check in, I was asked to preauthorize a damage deposit. He inserted my card in the machine and was immediately asked for my pin code to process the payment. The owner requested that I tell him my pin which I refused and told him to cancel and tap instead of inserting my card. The sheets were covered in stains, the room was filthy, and the plumbing didn't work properly. When we contacted the front desk to complain, we were told that you just had to 'jiggle the knob' until the shower produced hot water and that later in the day, they would change the sheets (They did not. Instead, the flipped them upside down like we wouldn't notice). In the week that we were there, maid service was provided one single time. I am 40 years old and this is literally the worst motel I have ever stayed at in my life. I will never stay here again!

The worst inn ever had! Very dirty!!! I chose this inn because I saw the picture which was replaced with new modern floor, and it looks clean. But the truth is NOT! Desks are dirty with food and coffee stains. Every single pillow case, face towels, bath towels are dirty with lots of stains. The worst thing is even the bath tissue is dirty, it’s got wet and got dried out, plus it’s dirty on the side, and it didn’t get changed a new one. Super tirty!!! We couldn’t even take a show and couldn’t sleep well. At 6:30AM, suddenly the bedroom alarm went off. Crazy! Super bad experience with this inn! And it cost almost $110/night in a total! Unbelievable!!!

The stay was barely tolerable. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the walls paper thin and the television didn’t work. Not to mention the wifi was barely connected.

The owner was, by far, the most pleasant and professional business owner I have dealt with. When I walked onto the premises, he immediately gave a genuine smile(you can tell when someone fakes a smile) and processed me through to my room. A suitable hotel for the price

Parking there was horrible. Small spaces and very limited. Parking a truck there is nearly impossible. And the room…spacious. That’s all I can say that was positive. The bed! OMG I felt like I slept on the floor! My hips hurt from sleeping on my side! We booked for 3 days and left after 2. It was just too uncomfortable and too awkward to find parking. Last thing? Our keys didn’t work after day 1 and rather than just rekeying it, I received a lecture on why my key didn’t work. Unnecessary.

Was in town for training and just needed a place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and the room was clean. The mattress was a little too hard for me personally but that’s not something that I would negatively review the hotel on. Everyone’s sleeping comfortability is different. I was able to park right outside my room, which made it very convenient for me to bring stuff in and out.

Took to long to check in

I was in room116 neighbors on top arrive at 11pm and woke up at 3 am to check out I was hearing everything even when they breath couldn’t sleep all nite, there’s no insulation or a barrier to reduce noise between first floor and second floor , it was terribel

Hotel room was very clean. Overall nice stay for a great price if you’re looking for just the essentials. Only issues we had were that the bathroom outlets didn’t work and the bathtub drain stopper doesn’t close properly. Staff was helpful and kind.

I was charged $100 for security deposit, and was stated that I would get it back after check out. Saw that it was a pending hold during the week and found out I was charged. No receipt for the cause of charge, called and they no answer for this issue. It’s a shame I’ve stayed here before and I have never had an issue until now.

They need new beds!!!!

We checked in late and it went pretty smoothly. The room was okay clean. The hot water for the shower never ran hot or warm. They charged us $30 stating we damaged the sheets and didn’t fully make the bed… I unfortunately started my cycle and it was one sheet not worth $30 dollars and they didn’t even give the courtesy of sending a bill. We had to contact them.

I would not recommend this property because the bed was hard, not because it was a normal hard mattress, but because it didn't feel like a mattress. It had lumps and there ws no comfortabe space. I had to fold a blanket to put under my back so I could fall asleep. Considered leaving. Left at dawn. The property is old. I don't know why the Expedia sie says " Good." Read all the reviews before booking.
