    Booked a room due to extended power outage at home. Room was small for the price and poorly maintained. Other guests loud and noisy. Facility lost power 4 hours after I checked in. Wound up going back home. Was told room was non-refundable. Nothing more than a cheap motel.

    Very friendly staff at check in. This is a great place for the value. We just needed a place to sleep because our flight was canceled until the next morning. We didnt stay more then 12hours. This suited our needs, its a place to sleep.

    Nothing I liked I had two nights stay there was no one to clean a room for the second day. The breakfast was so bad I had to go to MC Donald across the street to eat.

    The first room they gave me the front of the nightstand drawer was just hanging there, the lock on the door was missing the latch to double secure the door. Moved me to another room where the tile above the tub was open so I could see the drain pipe above, the light fixture globe fell off luckily it was plastic and filthy, dryer plug was missing a prong so I had to go down (with wet hair) and get a replacement, which wasn’t in the best of shape either. Breakfast was only coffee, milk, juice and cereal! Did not feel safe as some of the occupants sat outside and unfortunately looked down on their luck. If I had a choice…would have gone somewhere else. Elevator made a ton of noises and shook when it moved. Garbage cans outside of elevator were over flowing and smelled really bad. When we checked in, around 5pm the hallway lights were off so it was pretty dark but later on they were on. My head has been itching ever since and I’m having it looked at for lice or bed bugs. The gentlemen at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I have stay in all kinds of places here and abroad? But this one…was close to the bottom! The photo of the latch, the piece on the door frame was the missing part on the first room. When I used the shower the plug flooded off…wasn’t attached properly.

    Nothing. This property has gone downhill since the last time I stayed in 2023. I disliked how disgusting this hotel is. The rooms are so gross, I physically felt uncomfortable to stay in them. The carpets feel gross walking on them, I laid down sheets and towels to avoid it. The walls have holes and stains all over them. The room smelled very bad too. I will not be staying here again.

    Lots of updates needed all over hotel, but generally clean enough, other than a random white handprint on the bathroom wall and a sticky bathroom floor. Previous occupant's food in the fridge too. Broken lampshade, broken (no) latch lock on door. No amenities - no fitness room, no pool, no lobby area, no real breakfast like other Super 8s have. Breakfast area was really awful -- sticky juice drying on a large area of the floor, dirty countertops, only muffins, yogurt, and cereal for food. Messy and unkempt. Staff are helpful enough, but don't dress professionally (flip flops and t-shirts), and seem irritated when you ask for anything. Wouldn't even program a new key for my husband who returned late at night to find his key didn't work. He was told he'd need to wake up his family to let him into the room (?). Ridiculous We booked a single King bed room for 3 people, b/c it said it could accommodate 3. When I called and found out that there is no pull out bed or cot for the 3rd person, they offered to upgrade us to a 2-Queen bed room for same price. Great! But when we arrived, they made a big deal of it and claimed it wasn't possible without first checking us in to the original room. In the end it was completely possible, and didn't need to be fully explained to us, the customer. Just do whatever you need to do on your end. It was a little exhausting.

    I stayed for two nights, but this is the worse hotel. When I was looking for it, it appeared to be very clean, so I was in for a huge shock. As soon as I walked in, I got the feeling that I wouldn’t be comfortable. The bed was rock hard and smelled absolutely terrible. Everything was filthy-it seemed like they don’t clean anything properly at all. I will never never return I’m jus waiting for my deposit refund now.

    We had an issue with our next door neighbors being loud. It was after midnight , and you could hear them through the walls yelling and banging on walls. We called the front desk and told them our concern. I do not know if they contacted them or not.But the noise continued until after 1:30am. The property is a bit run down but for what it was the rooms were clean.

    Clean, room doesn’t smell much, no noise, overall good. Some light bulbs need to be replaced. Nice to have fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean as well but it does get humid there, so get room service everyday. Safe place, plenty of parking. Dunkin’ Donuts 24 hours drive thru right next to the place. Overall a good stay!

    Sketchy hotel, had a sign on the room door advising you not to leave valuable's in your room unattended. Ended up changing there for a concert then bringing all our luggage back to lock in the car while we were gone. Also a lot of sketchy looking people loitering and walking around the property. Good for just a night to sleep if there’s no other options I guess.

    Do not recommend this place or Expedia in general. The hotel canceled my reservation 1 hour before check in because they said Expedia overbooked them 14 rooms and when I talked to the Expedia agent and the agent called the hotel the hotel worker told them that it was because I had an invalid card on file for the reservation when the card was not invalid. Overall do not recommend staying at this hotel and would look at other options on different websites.

    Nothing First room, TV, lamp, and phone all broken and innoperative. Moved to second room. Bedspread had a big black spot, as if black liquid dried on it. Sheet underneath had a large black smudge, like makeup or something all along the cuff/edge where my face would be. I had to ask for a new spread and sheet and make it myself. I didn't realize when I booked it was the same hotel. But last year, I booked an upgraded, more expensive room. I was given a room with no TV. I demanded another room. Several things didn't work. I requested a refund, got the refund, and found a motel nearby on Booking.com from their parking lot. Two weeks later, I was informed I owed the cancelation fee and they were going to charge me. It would have really hurt me. I had to frantically get on with Booking.com to try to stop them. All Booking.com would do is put me in touch with the hotel. It was a different office than the one charging me. It was a mess. It took a lot of effort and worry. But I wasn't charged. Stay away from this place. It's truly a dirty, run-down s**thole.

Our door was had a piece of veneer screwed around the perimeter, probably from all the damage done to it. The locked worked, but if someone wanted to it would have been easy to kick in. The towels were clean, but had stains on them that didn't bother me but may bother the next guest. The parking lot was in poor condition, but I understand how expensive it is to replace. Should this property ever be fully remodeled it will be a diamond with it proximity to so much.

    Check in was at 3. We got there around 3:20 our room wasnt ready so they put us in a smaller room. Bedding was dirty. Hole in the bathroom ceilings. Just discusting. The "breakfast" was yogurt and cereal. Do yourself a favor and book else where.

    The bathroom was not cleaned prior to whoever used the room before because the toilet had hairs on it and the toilet paper roll was basically gone. Weird stains on the floor and door was chipped and there were several objects in room that had loose parts like falling apart. Bed was comfy, walls are NOT sound proof because couple next to me was being very loud at night…. There is AC, WiFi, parking, a McDonald’s and dunk in nearby which was nice. I didn’t see a single house keeping worker during my stay but I could have just missed the cleaning hours. There is 24 hour front desk service. Seems like a place that truck drivers stop at and I can’t say I saw a single female in the hotel I only saw men.

    Room was not clean. Found a small toy dinosaur toy on the floor behind the door, along with two eyelash extensions, so clearly the floor had not been cleaned/vacuumed. Room smelled okay, but the hallways and elevator reeked of cigarettes. Only decent part of the room was the shower, which was actually clean and had good water pressure and temperature.

    Overall the property seems a little rundown our room had holes in the wall from where one of the headboards was missing , the lamp would not stay on something seemed to be wrong with the connection to the bulb , the security latch on the door was broken . It lists that there is breakfast but what they mean by that is a couple of prepackaged danishes and very watery juice from a machine. The staff were pleasant when we checked in and checked out. Again if you're just looking for someone to sleep it wasn't bad just don't expect anything spectacular.

    I did not get my deposit back, lady say that the blanket was left with some kind of stain... What you spect after two day using the same blankets, the same bath towels, just so you know they are supposed to be dirty and needs to be washed... Ladies uses makeup, creams and perfume that stays in the blankets... Never come back to this hotel... I don't recommend to anybody to use it

    The clerk barely said two words to me when I checked in. The elevator was so jerky and the door started opening before it stopped on my floor. I stepped off the elevator and there was a pile of trash sitting right outside the door. I went into my room and flipped the blanket back and there was Mouse poop in the bed, between the sheets. I went back downstairs to ask for a new room and he acted like I was inconveniencing him. I was given a room on the third floor, there was another pile of trash sitting outside the third floor elevator. When I went in my room the carpet was so dirty I didn't want to walk on it barefoot or even in my socks. There was no washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom. The lamp by the bed didn't work because the grounding plug had been broken off in the outlet and nobody bothered to fix it or replace it. The security lock on the door was broken. I have never seen a more disgusting hotel.

The bed was comfortable and heating worked well on this cold day and night. The room was plenty large enough and everything seemed clean.     I, Stephen Tweedle, stayed in room 201 on Sunday night March 8, 2026. The hallway leading to the room was extremely dirty, with dirt and stains on the brown carpet, along with trash on the floor. The room 201 smelled like smoke, even though I paid for a "non-smoking" room. The bed mattresses need to be replaced, as they are smelly and not very comfortable to lay on. There are no hangers for your clothing. The bathroom still needed more cleaning. There is no toilet paper holder for the roll of toilet paper. The vent/fan in the bathroom does not work. The next morning, breakfast was horrible. Watered down coffee and cheap gas station pastries. The juice in the machine tasted spoiled. The employee at the desk was far from helpful and he seemed to be in a rush to get back to whatever he was doing prior to my arrival. I and my fiance requested to speak to management, but the clerk said they are not available. An email was sent, along with two phone calls, but management still has not responded. Today is Tuesday March 10th. This was my very first trip to Chicago, and to this hotel. I will never return here again to this hotel. It's ridiculous. Employees need customer service training and management needs to practice accountability and respect for guests.

    My room was great the service was great as well but there need to be actual continental breakfast not just cereal and danish with oat meal packets and water downed orange juice and apple juice , you guys have to do better with the breakfast . You need some real food served hot like sausage eggs at least with fresh hot bacon toast

    It looked like the bed sheets were not changed as it had some pretty gross stains thankfully we always bring our own bedding , the bathroom also had stuff on the floor including hair in the tub. I booked the room a week in advance so it’s not like they didn’t know we were coming as we also came in late at night. The lamp in the middle of beds bulbs were out . We only slept in it as we were just on a day trip . I’m so glad I’m overly prepared as I also brought disinfectant spray. Probably won’t stay again at this location .

    When I first checked into my room the small fridge wasn't working and making noises. The staff just told me to unplug it and plug it again but it didn't work. I had to go to the front counter a few times because first my key card didnt work. The 2nd time was the fridge being broken and making noises. Finally the 3rd time was to get the room changed which he did but was going to change my room but was doing this with a upset look and did not apologize or say anything to me . I had to call around 12am because the person next to me was having guest and music was really loud so I could not sleep until I called front desk and had to call a few times because it would just ting with no answer finally someone answered afyer 15 to 20 rings so I could complain about the noise . At around 1230am the music finally was lowered or turned off and I could go to sleep which the bed was alright and shower was somewhat clean as there were 1 or 2 hairs up on the wall of the shower .

    Room felt neglected, holes in the wall, shampoo and body was dispensers were empty, old furniture and wore out carpet, breakfast was store bought stale honey buns, there was oat meals packs but no milk, don’t wast money here, simply awful, I don’t know why Wyndham doesn’t check their franchises.

    When I calmly asked to speak to a manager, the male staff member became rude and told me to “get out his face.” That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when dealing with a parent and a sick child. We were threatened with eviction over a disputed towel fee, with no clear policy shown and no attempt to resolve the situation reasonably. Accidents with children happen this is normal wear and tear for a hotel, not grounds to treat guests like this. I felt harassed, disrespected, and unsafe. If you’re traveling with kids or expect basic customer service, do not stay here. I will be escalating this to corporate.

    The bed linens & towels were clean. the phone didn’t work & there was no hairdryer attached to the wall. The staff found another room for me. The second room the phone worked, and the hairdryer was there. However, the carpet was stained, walls & furniture were scuffed & chipped. There was an iron but no ironing board. The microwave cord didn’t reach the outlet and I had to move it to plug it in. The ceiling light/fan in bathroom had no cover. I wouldn’t want my brand to be associated with this property.     On my last day, I've had enough and invited the person that was at the front desk. I showed him the towels that were laying as a mountain for days in the bath, the overfilling trash cans, the non-vacuumed floor. I was frustrated and he raised his finger, got out of the room and threatened me by saying: "Do NOT talk with that tone with me. Don't you dare raising your voice at me. I am NOT the manager and this isn't my job." I was surprised and asked him "Are you serious? you represent the company, you are the only one here, I am going to complain to you." He dismissed me saying that I can talk to the manager in the morning. In the morning I left without saying anything

    The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The TV didn't have a number of channels listed on the guide. The bathroom tub was a little stained. The chair in the room you could tell was bent somewhere and not completely sturdy.

    This was a very small hotel which I didn't mind, but some of the items in the room I stayed(317) need a(n) upgrade/replacement...like the desk chair, the smoke detector, the bed frame and the entire carpet in that hotel. Overall, the room was cleaned and didn't have any bad smell. I appreciate that it has a microwave and a refrigerator. Not much to watch on the TV, but I didn't really care. The one thing I really did not like was the metal framed bed. It is slightly bigger than the mattress. When I first got in the room, I kept hitting the left side of my leg which caused a bruise. The front desk staff was friendly. "Continental" breakfast is what you'd expect it to be, quiet neighborhood, and had enough parking. I didn't mind my stay cause there are way worse hotels than this.

    Had an early flight out of Midway and was looking for an affordable stay nearby. Staff was very pleasant. Hotel shows it's age and several items in the room could use repair or replacement. Room had an odd smell to it. Otherwise the room was clean as was the property. The mattress was very cheap feeling (loud and not very comfortable). Can't comment on breakfast as my flight was early and had to leave before serving time. I wasn't expecting much for the price and it suited my needs for the night. Not saying I wouldn't stay here again but also wouldn't rush back to it.

    You get what you pay for, but it seems like the place is understaffed. I had issues with my room's toilet that I brought up to the front desk multiple times. It was never resolved, and I don't know if that's because staff never went up to the room despite the front desk saying they'd send someone up or if the toilet was just unfixable. Other than that, nothing super notable.

    Instead of resolving the problem or offering a proper refund, Expedia offered only $40 for the complete loss of my booking. This is unacceptable for a trip that was entirely ruined and for accommodations that were clearly not as described. I expected better from Expedia in protecting customers from uninhabitable properties. I hope they review their standards and refund policies so future travelers are not treated this way.

    Very dirty . The sheets were not clean. The hotel itself was not clean. The staff were not extremely willing to help. The room keys and elevators did not work. The outlets inside the room also did not work. $100 fee was charged for deposit that I have not received back. The breakfast area was not clean and there were no plates and eating utensils readily available. Over all horrible stay.

    The property is located outside the city and within 20 minutes of Midway Airport. Since my flight was leaving out of Midway, that was the best thing about this property. I checked in on a Friday night and the man working the desk did not even have the courtesy to speak beyond asking me if I had a reservation. I'm sure he only asked me that because there was a handwritten sign saying "No rooms available, Sold Out." After that, he went mute, he literally looked at my ID and gave me my room key. That was not a normal experience, no welcome, no greeting, not even a quick logistical rundown of where the elevator was located, etc. To make matters worse, the water in the tub/shower did not come on. Thank goodness the toilet and sink's water worked just fine. Since I was only staying the night, I suffered through. Needless to say, I do not recommend this hotel.

    For them to have Roaches and up-charging is diabolical. I had to change my reservation due to flood warnings where I was coming from Someone said to me ( Yes they’ll change my reservations) then when (Expedia) called they wanted to upcharge me, then stopped answering the phone all together. I was out $150, they didn’t want to work with me nor wanted to give me my money back. So be careful booking with them, they have roaches

    This hotel is outdated and in terrible condition. Our room smelled of Marijuana and the door had to be slammed in order to shut it. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and shower had mold in it. Not sure when the last time the carpet had been cleaned or vacuumed. The lighting was very dingy and room seemed dark. Didn't stay for the breakfast, but it didn't seem like they had much when we walked through the very small area. There is a Dunkin' Doughnut and McDonald's close!

    This property was not upkept. The worst part was that we realized we were provided a room that did not lock. One night when we arrived we leaned on the door as our hands were full to get the card key out and the door swung open. We thought to ourselves did we not close the door? So we closed it shut and pushed the door open again and the door opened with no key necessary. We spoke to the manager who stated they apologized for the inconvenience that there was nothing they could do but watch through the camera to make sure no one walked in on us at night. We asked for a different room and they said they could not provide one. The next day they attempted to fix the door but failed and now the door could only be opened with a manager key. The manager apologized and stated our stay would not be charged due to inconvenience and provided us a discharge invoice with a $0 charge as we had been staying and leaving our belongings in an unsecured room. After a week I noticed orbtiz never made a refund of my stay so I reached out and orbtiz reached out to the hotel which they stated that they never offer refunds per their hotel policy has a no refund policy. So not only does the hotel offer unsafe service they are deceitful when trying to resolve issues with their customers. I would not recommend service with this hotel.

Our room, including the carpet and bathroom, had a noticeable smell of dust and humidity. Breakfast offered very limited options, making it an underwhelming start to the day.     The check-in was quick and the rep was friendly, but the room was lackluster and dated. It's in desperate need of renovations. My door wouldn't shut properly without a lot of effort. Appears it might have been kicked in at some point?? The carpet was so old and had numerous stains. My room was above the front entrance and every time someone came through the front door, I heard it bang closed. The street noise was obnoxious too, so make sure you get a room on the back side. I booked this room last-minute due to its proximity to Midway airport. If you're needing a "sleep-cheap" near Midway, then it's ok, but don't plan on getting a lot of sleep. I'm sure it's rare, but a firetruck under your window isn't a fun alarm clock. Oh well, i made it to the airport in time and avoided Chicago's rush hour traffic, so not a total loss, i guess.

    Perfectly decent room. It's old. But everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was awesome. Ordered from Durbin's per the room menu and it was good as well. Continental breakfast is literally toast and yogurt or cereal. Waffles didn't work. Nothing special. Just a decent room for a night's stay.

    I reserved my room before I got here, when we finally made it we got checked right in and got our keys in no time. They have friendly, easy going staff. The staff put my baby birthday cake in their fridge because the one in my room was too small for the half sheet cake. It’s clean here and the air is fresh. I would be glad to stay here again and I would most definitely recommend everyone to come enjoy a stay also, I know they wouldn’t regret it.

    Decent place to stay for the price. Our room was loud however as it was close to the elevator so there was a lot of foot traffic and banging noises. Otherwise the fridge and microwaved worked and the room was clean.

    Our stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Bridgeview/Chicago area was wonderful. The place was clean and quiet. We love the free breakfast; there were many options to choose from. We especially love being able to make our own waffle and boiled egg. Both morning and evening desk clerks were friendly and very accommodating. Cleaning staff was also very nice.

    I could tell the property had been renovated based on the carpet in the hallways. I think more attention should be on updating the bathrooms. The walls above the shower have chipped paint that could easily be redone. The toilet is way too low for the average guest as well. There were 4 packages of decaf coffee and none of the regular coffee. But overall the stay was ok. I slept well.

    Showering it was a foreign hair or hairs on the towels blond! Looking forward for a total refund, plus it was $100.00 deposit required clerk explain to me that Expedia has it in small writing on their contract.

    I stayed there Thursday, Friday as well, the TV was a issue, dark screen and blurry. Outside of what I've mentioned things were great. Staff was very pleasant, also the location was very convenient for me

    Las camas con muy mal olor no se podía dormir la señora del recibidor muy grosera habían unas personas q no hablaban inglés y la señora no quiso hablar en español aún siendo mexicana porq hablaba con los empleados en español y con el cliente en inglés sin ellos entenderla tuvo mi niña q traducirle porq sencillamente ella no quiso ayudar no recomiendo este hostel a nadie
