The location is quite convenient, making it an easy base for getting around the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming at check-in, and the check-out process was efficient. I also enjoyed having access to the indoor pool, which was a nice bonus to have on-site. The breakfast offered a solid variety of options to get the day started, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout my stay, which was helpful. While there are always small opportunities for improvement, this hotel provided exactly what I needed—a quiet, comfortable, and stress-free place to stay. I would certainly consider staying here again when in the area and would recommend it to others looking for reliable, straightforward accommodation.

Our room was not cleaned; new sheets and towels, more toilet paper, facial tissue, etc. for the three nights we stayed. We specifically told the desk personal that we needed all new towels, new sheets, etc. Sunday morning, June 7, before we left for the day. We returned, 9:30PM and nothing was done. We spoke to the desk person, but because he had just come on shift, could not do anything about this other than give us the towels, toilet paper, to carry back to our room. Mistakes, errors, can happen with many people staying at this inn. However, an adjustment, credit, contact from the manager, etc. would be appreciated and would be an encouragement to return to this hotel next time we are in Buffalo, or use La Quinta in other places. Our refrigerator did not seal, useless to leave food in it. There was writing on a wall, possibly from a young child in a prior stay. This did not seem to be noticed when preparing our room for our arrival. The toilet paper was extremely thin and rough. Perhaps a better product could be found for those using the facility, as well as better quality facial tissue. Overall, the building and parking lot were clean. The breakfast was adequate. For the good of all using LaQuinta, please install a minimum of one grab bar in the bathtub/shower. We are seniors, two of many in this age group who rely on this safety. It is not a matter of being accessible, but a matter of safety when showering. Thank you for your consideration.

Very clean and fresh smelling the only thing I’m concerned about was the front door looked like it had tried and been broken into it at one time

Disappointed with my stay. The shower head was broken, making it nearly impossible to get a proper rinse. Breakfast was well below expectations, the quality and cleaniness just wasn't there. The room hadn't been properly cleaned: there were stains on both the carpet and the bedding. For the price, I expected much better upkeep and attention to detail. Would not return or recommend until these basic issues are addressed.

The room we got was damaged. The boxspring was ripped the table with the TV on it had permanent burn mark damages. The door didn't function properly, it made a huge noise when you opened it from rubbing against the floor and then would slam shot unless you were very careful to shut it slowly. The check-in staff didn't give any of the normal details you usually hear like what time is breakfast or the pool hours. It felt like I might've had air circulation issues like it was very stuffy in the lounge with a strong musty scent of whatever they're cleaning product is.

The place is very new and the beds are rooms are very comfortable. I would give the place 5 starts except that the common areas are scented with some of smell that I found pretty overpowering. The scent matches the soap in the rooms but it was too much.

Have stayed quite a bit in this location as my daughter goes to school nearby. Great location, convenient to shopping, restaurants and just minutes from her school. Staff is always friendly. Room is clean. The free breakfast is a plus!

They need to either get different chairs or different tables in the breakfast area. All but a few tables are too high for the chairs provided and it makes eating very awkward.

Breakfast was alright -basic hotel food. Young man at check in was very friendly and polite . Young man at front desk on our second night was unpleasant. Shower/tub in room was clogged -wouldn’t go down at all . Nasty ! Called and they did come and fix it. Then second day we were there, we left at 11am for the day and came back around 9:30pm to a clogged toilet!

The hotel itself is nice and the front desk employee was courteous. I’m sure if we hadn’t found 3 different large blood stains down the side of the bed and the carpet wasn’t damp we might have better things to say. We’d go again but we’ll inspect the room first before going to sleep.

I appreciate that the staff worked quickly to get my checked in earlier in the day, however, the room was not thoroughly cleaned. I ended up having to clean the toilet and surrounding areas, myself. Carpet smelled old and the entire room was scuffed up heavily. Personally I was just a bit skeeved out, but overall it was okay. Quiet, bed was comfortable and breakfast was decent!

We were welcomed by a nice guy from the reception when we checked in, but as soon as we got in the room - we noticed that the room somewhat had a leftover odor (not smelling clean or fresh), the toilet was left filthy with poop splatters, and there was a used bathrobe left in the closet. I guess we get what we paid for, and we only stayed a night. Overall, it was just okay. Best thing with the hotel is that they're pet friendly.

Our room was not the cleanest as the couch had stains and the cushion cover was coming off. Several surfaces throughout the hotel needed cleaning. The breakfast was okay.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now because we liked the location and the quietness. We like the hotel however we found it has become somewhat run down. Plaster coming off the walls in the bathroom above the sink, and the doors were chipped at the bottom. Some easy upkeep would go a long way! The breakfast was pretty good. The bacon and sausage were very unhealthy! There was fruit and yogurt and eggs so that was good. There staff were nice. The hotel is generally good! Just noticed the changes.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, mainly because of maintenance being done on our bathroom in our home. Upon showering the bathtub filled up almost upon start as you stepped in. This continued through the entire duration and filled up a large amount so that you were just standing in inches of water. Overall everything else was okay, but I probably wouldn't go back.

Stayed to rest to catchup long drive for next day, but one of the car alarm went off middle of the night and staff took more than an hour to figure out. I noticed staff noted the vehicle numbers/phone numbers from guests while check-in. It should have been taken care quickly. sleep was completely disturbed. bathroom light switch and plumbing when turned on made weird loud noises all night.

Also the shampoo and soap dispensers in shower were stuck in down position and unusable. Certainly something that cleaning staff should have noticed.

It would have been a better experience if they paid attention to detail. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely dirty and loud with vibration. The shower head was not functioning properly along with the drain backing up into the shower and dirt stains around every door in the room. It lends itself to unsanitary conditions for the price point. These are quite notable conditions if staff checked the room prior to occupancy. The breakfast array of food was acceptable to enjoy each morning.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and overall it was very quiet. The curtains were too short and let in too much light. There was the smell of toxic cleaning chemicals in the lobby and the elevators which I found quite offensive. Some of the amenities were misrepresented, not sure if that was by Expedia or by the hotel. The location is quite convenient.

We only had the plasure of staying one night. Were there for a family funeral. Being exhausted from a long drive, the staff checked us in quickly and we were able to get to the visitation on time. The staff was very polite. That night the bed was so comfortable we were able to sleep well enough to get up early and get to the service on time. Recommend the LaQuinta for travelers.

The room was dirty - there was a used washcloth left in the shower and the counter was dirty. The breakfast was the worst I have ever had when staying at LaQuinta (we always stay at a LaQuinta when travelling and usually love the breakfasts), the bacon and sausage looked undercooked, even the waffles were not good and it's hard to mess up waffles. Next time I am in Buffalo, sadly, I will choose somewhere else to stay. :(

Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. While checking the room, I received an electric shock from one of the switches, which is a serious safety hazard. Additionally, the washroom sink faucet was loose, several drawer handles were missing, and a few others were broken. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering basic safety and maintenance standards. I would not expect this level of service or condition from a hotel.

This trip was our second stay at this La Quinta. I love the location and the facility clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good but I wish they would offer individual cartons of milk instead of the caraf for cereal. The price is reasonable and staff was friendly. The only small complaint is when they cleaned the bathroom and and empty trash they did not replenish the toiletries (TP and soap). I had to request more TP and we were just n our last roll and our hand soap was empty so had to use the soap from the shower. Otherwise, I enjoy this hotel and would stay again.

Multiple things broken through out the room, stains on the curtains, had to clean the bathroom it looked like it was barely touched when last cleaned. Pool was shut down for maintenance for the first night for hours.

I went here a year ago. The rooms were great. The hotel was great. The service was great but this weekend was a completely different experience. The carpet in the room was messed up. The paint was chipped. The breakfast was terrible. They tried to charge me multiple times for my pet and it was way more expensive I'll never be back

I called to ask a question before i completed booking my reservation and the staff member i spoke with was not very friendly. I understand we all have off days, so hopefully this was just an off day for this gentleman.

Room was dirty! Bed linen was dirty and had dog food and hair on the floor. We immediately asked for a refund and was denied and told to come back and talk to manager. When we went back manager wasn’t there ( at the time we were told he would be there). Expedia could never reach manager either. This isn’t even all our complaints! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I would stay here again if you paid me! The room stunk as well and the man at the desk said there wasn’t any other rooms to move us too and after a 5 hour drive we just settled. Online it said there was other rooms available also!! So there was no reason we couldn’t move rooms!! Overall, the facility was clean and was in a good location for our stay. There were a lot of shopping and dining options in the surrounding area. However, when we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes for a staff member to come to the front desk to check us in. More than once, staff were not readily accessible. Our room was clean, but the area where the carpet and tile met, the carpet was frayed, and the metal strip was exposed and raised causing discomfort if stepped on in bare feet. The free breakfast was of poor quality with a limited selection.

The property was clean and quiet. The room could use some work. The light in the bathroom mirror only lit up on the left side also the shower drain malfunctioned and water went into the entry area by the large mirror.

There were no alarm clocks in the rooms. There was a main switch that had to be on in order to use any of the other lamps. That was really odd. Staff was just staff I wouldn't say they were friendly I wouldn't say they were unfriendly they were just there.

Everything was good only the breakfast could improve more, not many options, we skip our breakfast for our second day of stay, didn’t like it.

The water closet was cracked knob missing from dresser had to get new batteries for thermostat

Light was burned out on one side of the bathroom mirror. Bathroom exhaust fan was extremely loud. In room refrigerator was also very very loud. The rest of the room was very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The property was decent but I’ve never heard of a hotel charging $30 for and earlier check in request or a later check out (an hr). Seems greedy and not customer friendly for long term loyalty

My husband, a few friends, and I took a trip to Buffalo from Brooklyn, NY, to attend the Bills game. We had a fantastic time at this hotel. It was super cleaned. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and it was conveniently located near stores. We will definitely stay here again.

The place is still new and worth a stay for a night or two but don't be surprised if he starts seeing the wear and tear of modest maintenance and cleaning efforts within the year.

The shower was not thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival. It had a foul smelling odor and staining on the floor. Needless to say I wore flipflops while bathing. Also when I examined the bathroom towels 2 of them were used, and unclean. The room should have been thoroughly inspected before I checked in at the hotel. I was disappointed at how unsanitary the bathroom was but the bedroom area was comfty, clean, and cozy.

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at this property and every time it gets a little rougher. Overall stay was fine. One big draw back is the cleaning staff. They are nice,I guess, but very unapproachable and they repeatedly tried to enter our rooms to give towels, but did not properly announce their entry. We travel with our dog and she is very well behaved and every single morning the cleaning staff would be posted up outside our room and when we would leave the hotel rooms they would uninvitingly stare at us and get too close. I believe this hotel needs some more up keeping and cleaning between stays done. We love the area and love that it is dog friendly. We just wish the staff was more friendly. 2.5/5 rating overall.

Everything was very clean. The breakfast was fine—a little more variety with sugar substitutes, jams, having decaf as well as regular would have been nice.

Hidden gem. Stayed just for one night since close to UBuff (north campus), but clean modern room, friendly staff, & nice breakfast was included with our room booking. Better than other local stays we’ve had this year. We will definitely return.

Hotel is close to shopping places, almost a half hour far from N falls. Good breakfast choise, confy bed, nice stay. Recommended.

Everything was fine with the exception of the front desk upon checking in. In my opinion they could be friendlier as they we are not a bother or inconvenience for arriving. Breakfast was plentiful; with the normal choices. It was good for starting your day.

Comfortable room. Overall was clean. The breakfast was very basic hotel and fealt lacking, but still appreciated.The pool was small. The gym was pretty good. Good area in the back for dogs. Spent a few days and the area did feel safe enough while walking the dog around. Good food close by and lots of fun things to do. Overall experience was a 5 stars even if the hotel wasn't perfect. This hotel was still an enjoyable and comcortable place to come home to for our stay.

The only downside we experienced was the pool was cloudy and it didn’t appear to be heated. However, the room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable and HUGE! The room had a microwave and very nice refrigerator.

Our initial interaction was terrible. We arrived early with the intent to potentially check in early. We asked Patel at the front desk who quickly and very impolitely shared there were no available rooms but if there were there’d be a $30 early check in fee. Useless information if he had no available rooms. We then discussed potentially leaving our bags so that we could visit a few local sites and park our car without our luggage in it. He quickly denied my request saying that because they were a small hotel, there was no space for us to leave our bags. Unfortunately, at that point it was too late to cancel our reservation or I’d have surely done so. After a long day, we returned to the property to check in. This front desk clerk was much more hospitable BUT once we were assigned a room, we found that the sheets were stained. My wife refused to stay in that room. The next room we were assigned had a broken front door. We thought the key didn’t work but the front desk clerk was kind enough to advise us to push the door really hard. We did and after a few trips downstairs, we gained entry to find a room that also hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was a used towel on the shower rod. The plumbers tape on the shower head wasn’t secure so water sprayed the walls and ceiling when we showered. We eventually used the dirty rag for a short term fix to the water pressure and direction. All in all, Patel is rude and the rooms were dirty and in poor condition.

They don't make the bed and they don't clean every day, you need to ask for them to clean and also for towels

It’s a newer hotel, not expensive, and close to lots of shopping and food options. Breakfast was good with several options. I liked the waffles and bacon but the potatoes and sausage were also good. I would stay here again.
