it was a clean place to stay at. room was clean and all. I wasn’t able to use really anything or have the breakfast since they had no power during my stay. It was uncomfortable but pushed through it. they charged a lot for having no power.

This was our first time in Chicago. My sister and I saw this Best Western as a convenient choice for the Pokemon GO! Fest of 2026. Wow, what a beautiful building! Very safe too. The lot is lit so brightly and is next to a small banquet hall so we weren’t scared about coming back to the room very late. The room was beautiful; comfy sheets, updated TV and nice amenities. The staff were so friendly to us upon check-in and held our bags both at check-in and check-out so we could go explore the city luggage-free. Free breakfast could use a little more variety but it was perfect to help us save on food costs. The parking lot is a bit small so do be aware when needing to park a vehicle here. We didn’t have to park so we didn’t need this option. Overall, we’d choose this Best Western again!!!

The pillows were a little lackluster. The breakfast had a good mixture of options and was not disappointed with the food. Parking was included and it was not difficult to find a spot to park. There is only 1 elevator and it could use some maintenance as the door closes a little wonky and also very fast even if you're standing in the way of the door.

Very close to the Midway airport. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Clean property that is well kept. Breakfast was a nice plus with adequate choices of items. The area around didn’t really have a sit down type restaurant nearby. Cisero street is a very busy main artery. Other than that the hotel was fine.

Everything was great, except that my room was near the front desk, and at night I could hear the front desk attendants talk and I could hear them in my room really loud. Loud enough to wake me up and not let me sleep.

The beds were uncomfortable. The shower pressure was not the greatest. Turning left from the parking lot takes time especially during busy hours.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STAFF IN GENERAL WERE HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. ROOM WAS SPOTLESS, COMFY BED AND PILLOWS, BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT. WE FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS PLACE.

We stayed out as late as possible just to avoid being in the hotel. When we returned around 9 PM, I saw a huge rat—not a mouse—running between the bushes and the hotel’s front doors. An employee stood there watching it like this was normal. This place is dirty and rat-infested. There is no way I would ever have my family stay here. If you’re looking for a clean, respectable hotel, this is absolutely not it.

Absolutely NOTHING. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so bad it needs to be shared. The room was absolutely unacceptable. It smelled like heavy humidity the entire time, even with the air conditioning turned down. The carpet was stained and visibly dirty, and to make matters worse, there was hair in both the bed and the shower. It felt completely unclean and poorly maintained. The most disturbing part happened on the second night: there was a large rat right outside the front entrance of the hotel, running back and forth in plain sight. This is a serious sanitation issue and a major health concern. Rodents carry diseases, and seeing one at the main entrance says a lot about how this place is being managed. We reported the issue immediately, and nothing was done. No urgency, no follow-up, no attempt to address it. Overall, this was an unsanitary, uncomfortable, and completely unacceptable stay. I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

The location was a little further than a few other MDW-adjacent hotels, but was priced accordingly. It was a great option for a stay prior to an early flight. Breakfast was plentiful, and they had it ready earlier than the posted time, which was great for our departure time.

Breakfast was good! I enjoyed that the proteins changed from day to day! The front desk staff were very kind and informative. I wanted housekeeping to come and take out the trash which they did AND picked up after us and made our bed while we were out for the day. We will definitely stay here again when we visit chicago again, its about a 40minute drive into the downtown area. Worth it if you want to have some quiet away from the big city each night

Nice room, very clean. Comfortable bed. Fridge, microwave and very large, fancy TV available. Also a desk with a chair and an extra arm chair. Hair drier, iron and all other toiletries provided. Easy parking on the property. The staff were pretty nice! Breakfast available, nothing super fancy or very healthy, the typical continental breakfast. The WiFi was barely functional, under 1 Mbs speeds. Maybe because it was a corner room far away from any router, but terrible nonetheless. The entire hotel entrance was full of buckets collecting water from a leaky ceiling. There is a fitness room, but is in the lobby right across the check-in desk and since that provides no privacy at all I never saw anyone use it. The hotel is not close to anything interesting, you will need a car to get to Chicago downtown if you're visiting as a tourist.

I stayed a few weeks and the first week the room I had was very nice and clean, and the staff was great. The second week I stayed and the room smelled like smoke and was rundown, the staff were still fine. I almost asked to get a different room, but by the time I got checked in, I was tired and wanted to go to sleep.

The outside didn't do it justice. We pulled up thinking it looked horrible, but as soon as we went inside it was amazing. Very modern and nicely modeled. The breakfast was amazing and sealed it. The cheese omelette hit the spot and the way pancake maker was an awesome thing for the kid. I would for sure stay here again if l came back to Chicago.

My room was poorly cleaned with a mildew like smell. Curtains were dirty and dusty. The walls had black nasty smudging. The couch and chair was well worn with numerous tears well worn covering. My bed mattress was so old that it was sunken in the middle with the springs protruding out. It was very hard and difficult for me to sleep.😬 In addition, my room had no amenities or other; just the basic. No clock or tissue paper. They provided a small soap and tiny lotion. The WiFi/Internet was not good at all it was blinking in and out. The bathroom had someone’s hair in the shower and on the floor😩.

Breakfast was great. Hash browns, sausage and eggs. Customer service was great. Our room was next to the elevator and the door to it was overly aggressive and loud. We heard it every time it opened and closed.Rates are to high for all hotels in the area.

Hotel was relatively clean, a little outdated. The water pressure in the hotel room shower wasnt the best. At check in, everything was explained very well! Room was clean and had plenty of space for us. The elevator did some minor weird things and there is only one in the building. Overall, stay was great with only a gew minor issues!

When i arrived. There were people right in front smoking Marijuana and i had and infant with me. Tring to get into the elevator the door closed really fast on my arm. Then i get up to my room open the door and a large stain of blood on the carpet. They switch my room had yello towels that was supposed to be white and used toilet paper roll that was almost gone. They phone in the room didnt work to report the loud noise occurring next door at 4am from the people next door fighting. I can go on and on

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED that the gym was not open. It was small but would have been efficient had the equipment been functional. I chose this hotel because it had a gym to workout in but that did not work out so good

The hotel was decent. The staff was nice, but my room was a little janky. My shower door did not shut like the glass sliding door so water literally went all over the bathroom and the AC unit was so loud. It woke me up multiple times throughout the night like obnoxiously loud and I feel like there was something else that I didn’t like, and they offered me a partial refund for these things so that wasn’t too bad

We needed a hotel as our flight got canceled and were only there a few hours. The bathroom was nice but the room had sticky floors and the fridge smelled bad.

I was charged for the cost of the room on the first night. I also thought it was odd that the bellhop put an extra $100 on - supposedly just as a precaution. I was charged $100 and they refused to give a receipt upon exit. Look in all of the nooks and crannies because they are looking for a reason to nickle & dime you. This is ok for a pinch. Would not recommend otherwise.

And I was truly amazed that hotel was clean at all times I like the fact that they will call and ask if I wanted room service for that day had no issues provided me with extra tiles and the breakfast was amazing. There was a young lady named Brenda, and she really did a top-notch job. I felt as if though I was home the breakfast was good. The hospitality was good. It was awful. I will definitely be return again.

Everything seems excellent but my workmate in the room found bedbug!!!

Booked a room for 2 queen beds, beds were a bit small for queens and pillows were mediocre at best. Lots of dust, caused skin irritation from the stay and we had to get extra towels despite booking for 4 people. Breakfast was pretty good and service desk was helpful. In the middle of the night there was a very loud guest knocking on doors and shouting at 2am. Wouldn’t recommend going back unless you’re stuck at the midway airport.

We stayed here for one night for a layover at Chicago’s Midway airport. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was free.

Had dogs in the building that barked all night. People sleeping in chairs in hallway next to the elevator. The elevator didn’t work part of the time. I’m a disabled vet and climbing four flights of stairs

The staff here are very pleasant and helpful. I had arrived about 12AM and they allowed me a late checkout without an additional fee.

We are seniors and bending to pick them up after they fell was not a good thing. Our second room was good 319. The first one we had to move AC was very loud!

The elevator was down but things happen. Check in and out was mega easy. Very clean place, no hidden fees. Easy to get to and from location with a lot of stores and restaurants around. Breakfast was a real breakfast. Very quiet given it’s on a busy street. Would stay again.

The staff were very professional. The facility had signs about remodeling, but it was still very clean. I had originally booked a different non-smoking hotel that I canceled because it reeked of cigarettes. This hotel is also non-smoking and they have figured out a way to keep guests from smoking in the rooms (something the other hotel staff admitted they could not do!). The breakfast had great options too.

Upon checking in, we had 4 june bugs flying around. Toilet was stained with fecal matter and urine. Walls were implanted with booger/blood stains. It was a mess. I checked in and left immediately to go stay at the Hyatt on 65th - 4 minutes down the road. Upon checking out, hookers and 'men' were asking for room availability so they could you know what.. GROSS! Stay completely away.

Did a vacation with my daughter to Chicago. We rented a car, but every hotel in downtown or close to downtown charges a daily rate for parking. What was beneficial about this place was that it did not charge for parking and is about a 3 mile drive to the nearest train station ($7 for 12 hours of parking). Currently under a lot of renovations, so the place was in a slight state of chaos. Room keys were annoying as I had to get them reset each day.

The staff was amazing !! The ladies at front desk were soooo nice. Honestly I would go back just for them. Breakfast area sooo clean and very good!! Walls in the hotel were a bit sketchy kinda dirty but beds were clean and bathroom was clean. I honestly would be back!

The staff was great, but I didn’t sleep well at all because the bed was hard, loud, and bumpy. Also, most of the channels on the tv were scrambled. I didn’t have time to eat breakfast, but I was glad that they had a pancake maker instead of a waffle maker, along with sausage and eggs, even though I don’t eat eggs.

The room smelled stale. My first room had plumbing issues. Toilet wouldn't flush. Someone came up and did something, now the water in toilet continued to run very noisy. The second room smelled stale too. The second day of my stay housekeeping did not leave fresh towels. I was by myself and so used the second set of towels in the room. Housekeeping did not empty garbage and left i can only guess cleaning towels on the floor. The towels on the floor were torn that's why i called them cleaning towels. The last day housekeeping did not clean the room at all. I had to call the front desk for towels. Never again. I felt like i was at motel you rent by the hour.

Room smelled like smoke really bad. A few rooms were duct taped over the key slot with towels around the edges.

This hotel gouged me with a high rate when I got stuck overnight. But the hotel is in horrible condition. Holes in the carpet, rust all over the showers, scratches all over the place.

The rooms are not nice enough to justify that price point. The furniture is old and beat up and the bathroom was not clean enough (dirty corners where floor meets wall, chipped tiles). Very friendly staff.
