Best Western Plus Burlington

Breakfast was good. It was actually a full breakfast style buffet and not just muffins and yogurt. Will stay again.

Our room was spacious but dated. A musty order pervaded the room, and some of the electrical outlets were defective. Our biggest problem was the low maximum volume on the TV. It made it hard to hear programs. We told the front desk, and the reply was that volumes were muted so as not to disturb people in other rooms. Water pressure was good. In our section of the motel we had to walk through a fire door and up a flight of stairs to reach the second floor.

Stay was overall fine - the room and hallways all could use an update. Common areas were fine - need to extend that to the rooms.

Arrived at the facility to check in only to find out they canceled my reservation because my residence was within a 50 mile radius in which I feel is ridiculous. Explained the situation of Why I booked the room (in which I shouldn’t have to) only for them to do nothing. Claimed they tried to call me to let me know but said it was no number listed on the reservation. Showed them that my contact info was indeed listed on the reservation in which I use the same source for all of my lodging needs so it wasn’t no way it wouldn’t be listed. She was nonchalant about it and still chose not to honor my reservation. Good thing I didn’t pay in advance otherwise it would’ve been money lost.

Very clean room very friendly staff free parking

My stay was very brief. The bed was very good, the bathroom clean except the soap dish and the closet door difficult to open and close. Was not a big fan of the hallway decor it seemed to me to be dated and uninspired.

The toilet keep running after flushing, maintenance did come in with a temp fix but start running again later on in the evening after flushing

There off season, but pool area looked really inviting. Breakfast buffet was excellent and well tended to. Look forward to coming back again

Courteous, friendly staff, but the room felt outdated and stale. There were Cheerios all over the floor and the room smelled musty. One of the bed covers was full of mysterious crusty spots. Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The make up mirror in the bathroom is coming off the wall. Also, every morning the cleaning crew would park outside our door and chat loudly - there is no soundproofing to speak of - so we didn’t get to sleep in in the morning.

The room very clean and spacious. Front desk staff Rebekah was very professional and friendly. Even gave a courtesy call to ensure our checkin process and room was pleasant. Breakfast was good also.

The air conditioner was horrible. The room was so stuffy all night. The hallways smell bad.

Everything was good except the toilet would not stop running water and the shower curtain rod install was really close to the shower head so the curtain had to be pulled some to get water flow. Which in turn caused the water to soak the floor.

I would have like to have had the double double beds as advertised a little more expensive, which is why I booked through Expedia. It said the bed was 6" wider which in our case would have made a better night. I would have also liked to have had Best Western Point which they said I couldn't have because I booked through Expedia. Everything else was just fine.

Very nice and quiet. My room was clean. You can tell they really wash the towels and linen. The interior of the hotel itself was clean and well kept. The staff were professional and helpful. There are plenty of foid options in the area. I will stay there again!

The walls must be too thin. The first night the room toward the foot of my bad had their music too loud and then I could still hear him talking after management asked him to quiet down. Then the second night I could hear clearly the conversations of the room toward the head of my bed. This was all going on from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. Poor sleep.

It’s def not a 5 star hotel. Wish I saw the low structure building as it reminded me more of motel than hotel. Staff was however very lovely and attentive except the dining area. Overall good but the price did not reflect what it was.

Breakfast could have more healthy options and less ultraprocessed (muffins). No honey available. Prepared oatmeal would be nice. I liked the yogurt dispenser.

Cheapest toilet paper ever, gouging on price (almost triple) just because it was homecoming weekend (there should be a law!) but it won't change because politicians that control and make laws are wimps.

The breakfast offers a lot of choices, but one item that just needs to go away is the yogurt dispenser. Bring back the small cartons of different yogurt. The Fla or this past weekend was super sugary vanilla and was not fit for consumption.

The staff were all very friendly and very curtious. The restaurant attached to the facility was very nice. Great atmosphere and relaxing. Food was delicious. Pool and surrounding area was really clean.

We stayed 3 nights at this property and we fully enjoyed ourselves. Check in was a breeze. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The pool is a nice bonus for relaxing. The hotel is perfectly located near shops, restaurants, & Elon University. Will be staying again on future trips to Elon.

Loved this great hotel, it was clean, it had a lot of great qualities. The only things that I would change are: the beds; super uncomfortable; the toilet in our room was very low to the ground; and I’d actually have pool towels for the pool.

We were very impressed by the staff and facilities. When we arrived the woman who checked us in was very friendly. Once we arrived into our room we received a call asking if we needed anything. The clean was clean and very spacious. The breakfast was a hot breakfast with many options. Eventhough we were near a bisy road we heard nothing during the night. The hotel interior was very nicely done as well.

We have stayed at property multiple times and always pleasant and clean.

Staff at the front desk were indifferent to guest requests and just not that good at their jobs. The whole property is dated and the layout makes everything a long walk. If I sound whiney, all we asked for was bedding for the pull out couch and they wasn’t something they could accommodate despite our reservation saying there were 3 of us and their write up on Experdia saying the room sleeps 3

I found although the property probably in a need of an update. our room was secure, clean and comfortable. The staff was the best, truly there to offer service.

Fantastic breakfast - great room!

This place is pretty old but it sufficed for what we needed. Close to Elon and a good price. Needed queen beds over doubles. My non-smoking floor smelled like smoke two of the three nights we stayed. Housekeeping traded out our towels and the old towels sat outside our door for over a day. Staff was friendly for the most part. Breakfast was nice. Liked the outdoor area for breakfast relaxing

I booked this Best Western room because the price was more reasonable than almost all motels in this college town when there's an event at the college. However I didnt expect to get a smoke-scented room with a saggy old carpet. Apparently the carpet is being replaced soon in that wing. I think that info should be disclosed at the time of making the reservation.

This is perfectly adequate hotel on a busy commercial strip in Burlington. Which seems in keeping with the brand. The decor is very dated but clean, the free breakfast in the morning was well done, and there was an outdoor terrace that was very pleasant. Not fancy. No frills. But it checked all the important basic boxes.

We checked in and were told our room was ready on first floor. After traveling for 3 weeks we had large suitcases. After unloading it all and making it to our room we found it had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk and were told the only room available was on the second floor(part of the hotel was being used for some sort of kids camp) so we had to drag our luggage upstairs. There was a huge gap in our door. On the positive side the breakfast was top notch! Won’t stay there again. We stayed because of the restaurant attached. Dinner was wonderful.

Exceptionally clean ( 100 % Health Department score, very rare ). Large, well-maintained pool and surrounding area. Nice linens and bath supplies. Adequate breakfast included, with some hot items; excellent coffee. The staff receive many kudos for hospitality and helpfulness.

Elevator was out of order.

Noise travelled too easily between door. Quests coming in late were heard along with noisy traffic on road.

I have no idea if the building had an elevator but we were sent around a corner down a hallway to a set of stairs and we had to carry all our bags to our room. This was not convenient nor easy for someone with a health condition.

The front desk agent was so sweet and easy check in. The shower and the beds are the worst.

I spotted two cockroaches in the hallway. I left immediately.

It met our needs

This property was clean and relatively quiet, but I was on an end unit. I was disappointed that the pool was not opened as we did have a beautiful day that would have been nice to sit out and/or take a swim. The free breakfast had several choices - scrambled eggs, fruit, sausage biscuits and gravy, toast and waffles. It was good for buffet style, but I would not rate as 5 star. When I first got to my room there was a man parked horizontal in the vertical parking spaces right outside of my window. It was a bit creepy as he seemed to be not leaving. I waited some time before calling the front desk. They reacted promptly and had the man move. I did greatly appreciate this as a single lady traveling alone. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which I heard was wonderful, but I did not have the chance to try it for myself. Great location, about 10 minutes from Elon.

Room was clean, but the overall property was kind of down at the heels. No elevator to second floor, laundry machines were really gross. Breakfast was ok/average. Front desk staff was really pretty rude checking us in. Not the best experience, but not the worst.

I really like the toiletries. They have a great smell. The internet connection was weak. I had trouble connecting to WiFi on my laptop and ended up just running a hotspot from my phone. The hotel service representative who checked me in was basically nonverbal, which was a disappointment. Her colleague beside her checking in another guest was much more personable.

Multiple plugs weren’t working and we saw roaches around the door frame.

When in Burlington NC, this is my go to place to stay. Easy off and on interstate 85, close to a shopping center with Wal-Mart and Chick-fil-A. The restaurant attached to hotel. Oh and a great breakfast.

This hotel has lost a lot of it’s initial appeal

Something bit me twice on my arm while i was sleeping, its red bump. Had to be bed bugs. Then check out was at 11. But they turned my card key off at 9. Couldn't get back into my room. I would not stay again.

My main dislike was the amount of light from the corridor lights that shone through my door all night. Couldn’t make my room completely dark. Weatherstripping around the top, bottom, and sides would have made a big difference.

However, the staff was very nice. The breakfast was better than most comparable hotels and they comp me one night out of the three for the inconvenience.

Had not stayed at a Best Western in many years. The hotel was well-furnished, clean, and we loved the covered courtyard area - great place to enjoy the amply-supplied breakfast buffet. There was also an attached restaurant that we arrived too late to enjoy, but it has great reviews. Very pleasant one-night stay on a long journey home.

The staff at the front desk were pleasant and very accommodating. They changed our room because we are both somewhat handicapped, but hadn’t mentioned it to them. Another of the staff noticed and advised those at the front desk. Greatly appreciated. Will use again.
