Do not book any room at this hotel. I booked and drove to hotel on time. Receptionist said no room available. Even I BOOKED the room via BOOKING he refused giving me the room. Now I do not know where to stay. Is is already 8.30 pm. This is unacceptable situation. How can I trust BOOKING and how can I trust Kings Inn.

Make sure to bring your own paste and soap and towels. Shower with sandals cause cleaning staff doesn’t do a very good job. I stayed only for three hours to shower and rest a little.

This is an extremely rundown property. Finish is wearing off the furniture. Staff cancelled our initial reservation for king room before we arrived and we rebooked queen. Staff also entered our room at midnight to give it to someone else and said we weren’t registered. Very disappointing. Plus side is location, convenient to shopping and restaurants.

People walkin through theMy brother was discriminated against the front desk staff is rude and disrespectful told me i would be lucky if i got a refund when my stay was not completed checked out after being there only a hour. This was the worst experience ever. Hotel management gave very poor customer service. I checked in and was lied to about amenities. I didn't have a Mini fridge or a microwave the bed linen was dirty with what looked to be blood, and the sink, tub, and bathtub were absolutely dirty. Out of desperation I bought my own cleaning supplies and new bed linen with 2 new pillows. Hotel Room service took my pillows and did not reimburse me. When asked to replace, Hotel management said staff made a mistake but nothing could be done.The room became increasingly disgusting by the day. I checked out 2 days early because roaches began to flood the bathroom, with one smashed into the front door. Spoke with management and he offered for the room to be cleaned. I didn't take the offer. While at the front desk speaking to Hotel Management, I recorded him saying he would reimburse me for the lost 2 nights. I've yet to receive my reimbursement.

I'll start by saying that you pay for what you get and my expectations were average for the price and the reason for the stay. The comforter was dingy and stained. I noticed a few baby roaches, but overall the room was decent especially after I personally wiped down all surface tops, bathroom,remote control and everything else I thought I would touch during my stay.

They did not accept my ID even though I’m 22 yrd. They tried to charge me more to stay at the hotel for not having a “ ID” and it took over an hour too check in and they were very unprofessional. The owner was being very rude and told us that the “cops work for him and he can get us in trouble”. All because we asked for a refund receipt and no longer wanted to stay at the hotel. Will not be booking there again.

Air conditioning is not capable of tuff weather, too hot or to cold, hopefully you show up when it’s 78 to 81 degrees. Staff irate, hostile. Parking ok.

Room was filthy. The first room I was assigned had a broken door lock that could not be secured. There was soap & dirt in the bathtub. I requested another room and it smelled like heavy smoke even though this was supposed to be a Non smoking hotel. This room had a roach crawling on the wall. I have pics to prove everything. The actual room was nothing like what was advertised. We booked a Jacuzzi suite, our Jacuzzi barely worked. The front desk clerk was rude and unprofessional. For lack of better words, the entire atmosphere and room were ghetto

I didn’t stay in the room for more than 34 seconds before I requested a refund. I started itching crossing the door threshold. Hallways got dirty carpet from the early 80s that smell like a wet cold cat and cheap cigarettes. Never will I ever again. You guaranteed to take something home you might can’t give rid of. Demand A New Mattress if you decide to check in because they not cleaning sheets they spraying Lysol and febreeze on dirty sheets and releasing bug bombs at 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

They were roaches in the bathroom. The bed had no blanket all sheets. None of the amenities described were available. There was no internet, no ice machine. And the service was substandard. The desk employees acted like they didn't even want to talk to you. The housekeeping staff however were hard working and polite.

We stayed there for 3 weeks, because we're not from up there and my Mother is disabled in a wheelchair. They moved us from room to room and then lied and said they were closing down because they have to paint and ordered to by the state. They lied they're still booking rooms I'm suing for discrimination of disability. They are rude, cruel, obnoxious Indians who talk to you anyway they want and threaten to call the police when you ask for a refund because we booked another week and they didn't tell us or have any signs up that they're closing. It's loud and noisy, people playing music all night and roaches and flies everywhere. They keep the front door open all day. They have the nerve to be expensive when that's a dump and Tyrone the manager needs a lesson on how to speak to people. That's a 0* hotel dump. By me being a Author the world will know once I'm done.

Smells awful, lobby has a public microwave and casino machienes. When I arrived early I asked if I could check in or when I'd be able to, I was rudely told they were closed despite obviously being open after waiting 30 minutes and still unable to even talk to the staff, I gave up. I was unable to get a refund even though I never even got to my room. The area is also a little shady.

One of the most dirtiest hotels i have stayed in, and it was a terrible stay i will never come.back here i would rather sleep in my car. The whole thing reeked of smoke smell though out the hotel as you walk through. And in the morning while i was getting up there was a roach on the lamp i have never gotten out of bed so quick. There was so many things just wrong. They made the pictures online look ok just to have to go to that. Next time i will be thoroughly looking for reviews and extensive pics. This one didnt have many should have tipped me off when i seen that. Lesson learned. There burn marks everywhere, the room was falling apart. Just dont do it. I came.from out of town so had no idea even the area was ugly. Never again.

The hotel was a complete nightmare. We had towels with blood stains, dust everywhere, we couldn't shower since the bathroom was dirty, there was boogers on the walls, trash and dirt, and the windows were greasy. We have never experienced these kind of conditions, we left as soon as we found another hotel to stay at.

They didn’t have towels in the bathroom and when I asked for towels she didn’t want to give me any and told me to check the bathroom again. The towels that was in there looked as if they were used before we got there. This hotel is TERRIBLE!!! There was prostitution going on as well

It was dirty, they wouldn't give extra towels the furniture looked like it was from goodwill. Their was people hanging outside. The elevator was broke, floor was uneven it stunk when you came in. Just a overall bad experience does not look the same as pictured.

The halls of the Motel was very crowded with homeless people and smoking weed.. Drug Dealers in the front of the hotel, bothering the guests including me.. I will never stay there again!

The pics online do not reflect what is actually there. The hotel is in a part of town that lets just say if u like cops being called to the parking lot, rooms with bolted windows, no smoking but smoking every where, people walking around asking for money, weed, or good time its your kind of place. Front desk behind either bullet proof glass or 2in thick plastic wall, will be your 1st sight in your arrival. Room had a musk smell i could not get rid of. The only thing that made me stay was the huge tube I soaked in and was able to watch tv on the wall to far from me. None of the fans to exhaust out. Needless to say do not go here just spend the extra money for a safer and more relaxing room.

Please remove this hotel completely. It is in one of the ABSOLUTE WORSE areas in Chicago unbeknownst to me. What a bittersweet experience nonetheless. When I arrived to check in and provided my driver's license and debit card, I was told my card declined which was not the case at all. I immediately went online and booked a more suitable hotel in a decent area. The next morning there were two withdrawal transactions from the hotel, one for $150 and the other for $8. I went back to the hotel the next day and was told to come to speak to Nil, the manager. After speaking with him today and providing an email from my bank along with a signed and notarized letter, he refused to reverse the transaction. Thankfully the other hotel had professional staff on site along with a clean, pleasing and comfortable environment.

I was scammed by the Hotel's management. I paid for 5 nights and I stayed just a single night. Although the manager gave me a letter with a credit card refund for the remaining nights, expedia nor the hotel don't want to reimburse me.

All night long people was walking through the hallways yelling and screaming, fights breaking out in the hotel hallways, drugs was being sold, prostitution was going on it was a horrible experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had made a reservations online before arrival of April, 2024. I am thankful that there is 100% cancellation policy I did not even make it past the entrance doors when I turned around and canceled my stay the smell vomit and alcohol hit you right at the front door, it was dirty,, and I could not understand a word that the staff was saying to me so it made communication horrible

The room had no furniture and when I went back to the front desk the clerk never came back and I was there 30mins beating on the glass. That place is a fraud their rooms do not look or even have the furniture advertised. The lobby has drugs and prostitution going on, it’s not safe for any one who is not into the illegal activities.

There was no one at the front desk for at least ten minutes during check in and check out. They speak to you through a bulletproof sliding glass as if you’re in a prison. The front lawn was covered in trash and it was glass all through the parking lot. There was no ice machine on my floor and they left the bare minimum on the beds. The room was far from up to date with no fridge,no microwave and a 32” tv. The front desk clerk told me after taking my payment for my room declined providing me with a receipt and said I don’t get it until check out. Which wasn’t possible because there was no one there that morning to check out with after waiting for so long. They give low quality service and it is for sure, NOT worth the price advertised.

Terrible. Took forever to sign in. The entire time we kept seeing people come in and out with alcohol and with very young looking girls who were definitely minors. We walked to the hallways and all you can hear was moaning from every direction. Our key didn't even work. There was no refund but there was no way I was staying at the hotel. I immediately left. Our stay was horrible, the halls reaked of Marijuana all the time. House keeping only want to change towels she didn't want to clean the room after the 3rd day we insisted that she change the sheets. We had NO TV SERVICE for 4 days when we asked about it they kept saying it coming on later it never did. They had some undesirable people hanging out in the front lobby and outside, we didn't feel safe!! Power kept going out.

Had me park motorcycle next to window. Said they aren't responsible. Tub safety rail is broke in half,cigarette burns on tub and sink. I was on non smoking floor. Bathroom wall switch had caught on fire and they never cleaned soot off. Big bubbles in ceiling that I wanted to pop but was afraid of floodi g me out. TV channels were all flopping up and down but audio was ok. Spilleď paint covered up by window curtain. Soda machines were out of order and snack machine ssid use at your own risk. I stopped taking pictures after this. Ice machine did work.

While the staff was extremely nice and helpful, this location is one you stay at for cheapness not for facilities. The rooms were furnished with the bare minimum (beds, sink, shower, toilet, a chair, tv, and two side tables). The room was basically cleaned, but not concerning. Overall, if you are staying and leaving (not spending a lot of time in the room), its not a bad option. This is not however a luxury stay.
