Reviews
The hotel is generally well-received for its beautiful location, welcoming staff, and charming rooms. However, there are mixed reviews about the cleanliness, breakfast quality, and some minor inconveniences.
- Beautiful location close to the beach and local shops
- Welcoming and helpful staff
- Inconsistent cleanliness
- Breakfast quality varies
- 5/5
We loved everything about this place, we have stayed here a couple times and each time is relaxing. The private outdoor area was perfect, as was the overall property. The double headed shower and breakfast brought to the room were the best parts. The parking can be a little difficult and the lighting outside for the jet baths is very minimal.
- 5/5
Absolutely the nicest place to stay in Capitola with the best staff.
- 5/5
We loved this place!
- 5/5
We stayed in the Railroad Baron room for our Anniversary. It was very comfortable and loved the fireplace and deep soak tub. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I called the front desk after hours because our lighter wasn’t working to light the fireplace. They called within a few minutes to get us a new one. Wonderful big breakfast served in our room and wine and cheese at 4. Quick walk down to the beach and shops and restaurants. Loved it!
- 1/5
The room smelled like mold and the property owner told us there was water damage in the room which confirmed the mold smell. It made me sick, no way to regulate the heat. It was super cold, they told us we have 2 comforters to keep us warm. The people in the room above us were super noisy. Over priced for the room we stayed in, furniture not comfortable. Parking was terrible.
- 5/5
This is the only place to stay in Santa Cruz or Capitola area. It was created from the original railroad station in Capitola. Each room is exquisite and unique. Sauger the general manager & his team are amazing. Fresh cook breakfast every morning either delivered to your room or seated in the lovely family room with Fireplace. Well appointed. The rooms she like home.
- 5/5
Bed was too soft.
- 5/5
Wonderful rooms! Quiet. Romantic.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at the Inn. It is charming and is in a good location in Capitola. It’s very quiet and peaceful, which we appreciated. We loved the personalized breakfast that is served to every guest and the thoughtful details, including fresh baked cookies. We liked meeting the owner and were happy to support a local business vs. a chain. The only place they missed the mark is that there was no soap in the bathroom and the shower pressure was weak and the temperature was tepid. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Loved the soaking tub, skylights and super comfy bed. Everything was great!
- 5/5
What a charming property and delight place to spend time in beautiful Capitola! Loved it!
- 4/5
Location: Good combination of quiet, residential location and a short walking distance to the beach and shops. Inn facilities, breakfast service and staff better than expected. The room we had was large and comfortable; fireplace was a plus but wished the outdoor tub worked as advertised. Tub needed cleaning and jets were non-functional. Overall, minus the tub, a pleasant one night stay.
- 5/5
We loved our weekend stay here! We had an amazing time and would come back again. Perfect bed and breakfast stay.
- 3/5
The room is clean. Bottles of shampoo & body wash in the shower are empty. Water is low & hot water was so high. Fireplace not working.
- 3.5/5
Toilet paper was horrible. Husband went and bought his own. Asked for tea every morning and received coffee only.
- 5/5
The location 4 min walking distance from Downtown. We parked our vehicle at the hotel and walked downtown. N/A
- 5/5
Very quant and comfortable rooms. The new owners were wonderful. Breakfast was amazing It is centrally located to everything. We walked everywhere Nothing
- 5/5
We recently spent a night in the Valencia room and it was the perfect "get away from it all" experience. From the moment we arrived, the owners were super nice and welcoming, providing a friendly check-in that immediately made us feel at home. The room was immaculately clean and in great order. It was very quiet, with only a touch of road noise from time to time, making for a very peaceful stay. A huge highlight was the delicious breakfast served right to our suite—having fresh coffee and croissants in the room was a total treat. While the selection was a bit limited, the quality and the convenience of in-room service were fantastic. The Inn is also in a prime location for a great stroll through the beautiful neighborhood and down into the heart of Capitola Village. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming and relaxing escape!

The location and the charm
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 5/5
Unique rooms with beautiful bedding.. Location was quite Parking is tight
- 5/5
What a gem, this quant B&B was perfect for a weekend getaway. I can’t wait to check out some of the other rooms, each one looks so interesting. Every staff member I passed by was extremely pleasant. The property was quiet and clean and just a short walk to Capitola Village and the beach.
- 5/5
This quaint historic former train depot-turned- inn holds its historic roots in the preservation of its European styled architecture. The rooms are clean and spacious with vintage furniture. The centrally place fireplace in our Parisian room kept us cozy thought the cool spring night and there were space heaters available if needed. Parking was safe and secure on the premises. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, eager to share information and assistance, yet providing you with privacy. A short two block walking distance from Capitola beach , which can get pretty crowded
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and our room was spacious and charming. Not at all like being in a vanilla hotel room. The location was a short walk from the beachfront shops. Breakfast was very good, but there is a single breakfast option offered. You do not have a menu to choose from.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable room (Library suite), delicious breakfast and great location. The owners were very welcoming.
- 4.5/5
Underwhelming breakfast of Belgium Waffles from mix. I expected a bit more...
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was good, but vegan should be an option, not the norm. The Valencia room is very nice. But impossible to control water temperature while using the shower!
- 5/5
We stayed in the Paris room. It was spacious and quiet, even when we had the door opened to the garden patio (common area). The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, as well as the evening snack and cookies.
- 5/5
We had a lovely stay. It was quiet, loved the fireplace in the room. It felt cozy and romantic. Location is very nice and staff is attentive. Would go back!
- 5/5
Private parking for the Kyoto room was a great bonus!
- 5/5
The fireplace was so beautiful and faces the sitting room and your bedroom area. Also, the mattress was a very good quality. Breakfast brought to your room in the morning was a good touch. Along with ample parking for guests. Na
- 2.5/5
Location was superior. Wonderful to park the car and walk down the secret steps to Capitola village. But don’t expect the Inn to give you ant info on that. Innkeeper was really checked out. Basically in absentia. I wanted to be informed of other rooms availability after a three night and he was no where in sight, I had to use booking.com. Rooms are unheated, they don’t tell you this and they can’t even bother to haul out a heater and warm the room before arrival. The Valencia room had the MOST inaccessible and dangerous bathing setup I have ever encountered. Plus the Valencia isn’t even in the main house and they don’t tell you this. Really awful communication at this lace. No one even bothered to inform me of he Wi-Fi password.
- 5/5
room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace. Great location
- 5/5
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
- 5/5
We were in town for just one day, so we were honestly a bit hesitant to book something that seemed so nice. I’m glad we did! Staff are very hospitable, and the room was gorgeous! It has a beautiful classic feel with all the comforts of modern amenities. We would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Friendly service and clean. Parking could have been better.
- 5/5
Elegant and cozy hotel with many well thought out details, spacious and comfortable rooms with fireplaces and welcoming outdoor gathering space. The service was exceptional.
- 5/5
we loved our room and the bed & breakfast grounds, breakfast and wine and cheese
- 5/5
Very authentic and cool owner who runs it himself.
- 5/5
Made to order breakfast was AMAZING. And walkable to shopping everywhere
- 5/5
At this beautiful Inn I felt welcomed yet very free. Everything was just right. I do not have one negative word to say about this property!
- 5/5
Ambiance Can’t think of anything
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast in our room was wonderful. The private patio was amazing. We got some great restaurant tips from staff. We will definitely visit again More coffee with breakfast would have been nice. Shampoo would have been appreciated. The shower only had conditioner and lotion with no shampoo.
- 5/5
Amazing service excellent room very clean and beautiful. The breakfast was excellent I will be back again and again. Sagar was excellent made us feel at home excellent customer service.
- 5/5
The bathroom door didn't close all the way.
- 5/5
We loved our experience and would highly recommend this property to others.
- 5/5
We had the most amazing time at the inn. We happened to stay on the weekend of the Art and Wine Festival. Our room (Portofino) was lovely. The breakfast was a treat. The staff went above and beyond. A great experience all around.
- 4/5
Great place
- 5/5
We had a beach house on depo hill for years and staying at the Inn is so special for us we love all the rooms we love trying all the rooms
- 5/5
The staff was eager to help us enjoy our stay. The poroperty is well kept and clean. Walkable to beach and Capitola center. We will stay there again.
- 5/5
Beautiful spacious well decorated Valencia room. Good breakfast. Close walking distance to Capitola beach. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
A unique experience.
- 5/5
This place is a treasure! We felt like we stepped back in time and stayed in France. We stayed in the room called “Paris.” There’s a French door out our room that led to a tranquil, spacious patio which lured you out by the trickle of a fountain. Sagar gave us first rate service and was a delight to speak with. We walked down the hill to have an early dinner and upon arrival to our room, we were greeted with a lovely tray of cheese, crackers, fruit, and drink. We are back in the area next week and will stay here again!
- 1/5
The coffee maker did not function properly. The bed was too high for short people The hotel did ot provide a detailed receipt I left a $200.00 security deposit and it is not addressed in the Expedia receipt. Staff were not available to order breakfast! Expedia confirmed my booking BUT it did not include the quoted rate. Plus a $50.00 Property Fee for what - terrible parking! I will never use this hotel or Expedia again! No staff were available for a 9:30 AM check-out.
- 5/5
Welcoming, cute, clean, delicious food, friendly staff and a wonderful location.
- 4/5
The main downside of this was the comfort of the bed. For an inn of this caliber, the bed was very hard, and the linens were rough, and no variation in pillow size so somebody like me who prefers a small thin pillow, have no option. Otherwise, charming setting in great location, and absolutely wonderful soaking tub in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Very nice people
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Cozy and charming come to mind as the inn is very warm and welcoming! We enjoyed our time in Capitola, as usual!
- 5/5
The location is perfect for seeing Capitola and visiting nearby areas. The room was extremely comfortable, and the gas fireplace made it very cozy. They brought breakfast to my room each morning, and it was delicious! I loved my stay at the Inn and will definitely be back to check out other rooms!
- 5/5
Wonderful venue. Sacar was a wonderful host, and everything felt very personable. We will recommend it to our friends.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay so much. Our room was beautiful and we were greeted by Sagar who made us a wine and cheese board. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room. We had a beautiful walk out patio with our own private jacuzzi. A perfect place to enjoy a romantic getaway.
- 5/5
Breakfast served in our room was amazing!
- 3/5
Very cold evening. Room was very cold. Would have been better if staff had tried to heat room before we arrived. We had to keep the fireplace on all night. Space heater very small. Need a bigger heater. Ppp Breakfast was great!!!
- 5/5
Elegantly old world with all the modern conveniences. good breakfast and lovely seating area outside by the fountain.
- 4/5
Nice historic ambience.
- 5/5
Awesome location and unique room experience! The owner was friendly and accommodating for our trip.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and room, wonderful staff. Definitely will return!!
- 5/5
Decorations were beautiful and attractive. It was also quite clean.
- 5/5
This is our fourth stay and we love this place. The rooms are well-appointed and the library is small but cozy. There is also a nice courtyard. A quiet, charming getaway that will please any vintage home lover.
- 1/5
I would stay away at all costs. This place has bed bugs and they refuse to admit it. I called the front desk after being bit multiple times up my arms and no one answered. Called again an hour later and again no response. I packed and left at 4:00am. Didn’t get a response until 9:30 only to be told they have no bed bugs and asked to send them pictures only to be told it was my fault and that I brought them and they refused to compensate in any way.. The audacity of the management staff. I will never be back again. Poor management and customer service.
- 5/5
As always it was a great experience. Breakfast was good. The staff was great. The manager was excellent showing us around taking the time to talk to us. The wife and I really enjoyed our fourth stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast
- 5/5
It was a wonderful place to stay. It does need a little updating.very close to the beach. Also very quiet. I was there by myself and felt very safe. On site parking was fantastic.
- 5/5
Great staff, unique rooms and only a few blocks to the ocean!!
- 5/5
We loved our stay!!!!
- 2/5
Overpriced! Wine and cheese, hardly. Front desk always empty. Stayed 5 years ago and it was wonderful. What happened?
- 5/5
It is hard to find a good hotel with good service. This property is amazing! Sagar and his staff were exceptional! Everyone is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Located blocks from beach. The property has charm, well worth the money and we will definitely be back!!
- 5/5
The staff was great; super friendly. The room was beautiful and had any extras we may have forgotten. The only thing I might change is cooling options. It got a little warm, even with fans, but overall we had a really nice stay at a beautiful inn. We will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Very welcoming. Close to the beach, village shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
It was such a beautiful place with great service and walking distance to downtown shoppes and restaurants.
- 5/5
Will definitely be back. We were welcomed from the minute we stepped through the door. Loved the location and the quaintness of the inn. Such a charming place to spend a few days.
- 5/5
What an amazing facility and staff. This was a last minute booking and we could not have been more pleased with the beautiful room and the very helpful, friendly and professional staff. We will be back to spend more time.
- 3/5
It went from Port and Truffles, to chips and cookies, to nothing being left in the common area after our latest stay. We used to look forward to the breakfasts but ours was a half hour late and it’s the first time I’ve had to use a knife to cut up a Eggs Benedict because the English muffin was way overdone. We also weren’t a fan of the external camera outside with a view of the patio area around the hot tub. It just felt really creepy like you were likely being watched or recorded. We used to be created warmly by Sagar when we arrived but the lady on duty was just matter of fact about things and not particularly helpful on the parking situation. We will most likely go back to Carmel as we stayed there earlier and had a better experience.
- 3/5
Went to take shower at night only to find hair and body wash container in bath/shower empty. In Valencia Room almost killed myself getting into the tub/shower, literally access not easy and unorthodox. They don't have someone onsite late to provide essentials. Food they provided for 4pm front Dining Room snacks and breakfast in morning was meh. They use to have impressive spread and quality of food.
- 4/5
I love the Inn at Depot Hill! Our room was awesome! It might be time to buy new beds though. Not all that comfortable. That’s the only reason I took off one star.
- 5/5
This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Paris room and there wasnt a detail that didnt go unoticed. The complimentary bfast was delicious and not cheap looking like most establishments offer as "complimentary". The historical context just adds to the experience of your stay and has the historial nastaligia feel. The staff is very nice and accomaodating. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and you can tell that he cares about the experience his guests. Another amazing piece of this place is its just a stones throw away from capitola village where you have access to great food, shops, and entertainment, not to mention spectacular views. So if you want a relaxing experience with great service and relaxation then come stay here you wont regret it.
- 5/5
Me and my wife were pleasantly surprised. The room was amazing with tons of character and the patio had a jacuzzi tub that was perfect. Throw in complimentary wine and cheese and an amazing breakfast carted into our room to make our stay extra special.
- 5/5
Very comfortable rooms and getting to park on site was also a bonus. Easy walk to town.
- 5/5
Husband and I enjoyed our getaway! Very kind staff lovely quiet room. Peaceful property. It was lovely!
- 4/5
Only complaint was that the body wash/shampoo dispenser was completely empty, which I found out after I was already in the shower and wet, so I had to get out to get my own. It's easy to check the levels, so this obviously hadn't been checked in days, which should never happen. I reported it so that they could address the issue and they handled it well.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and the property was well maintained.
- 5/5
A lovely room, beautiful ambiance. tasteful details. We especially enjoyed the fact that it wasn't fully occupied so that we could enjoy having our adult kids over after the wedding to recoup & relive the memories of the weekend. Food was simple but delicious, and not too much food! We would stay there again!
- 2/5
We found multiple hairs in our bed of different colors from different people (5-10 long hairs). Sheets also had stains. We did not feel safe sleeping in the bed. We had to sleep on top of the bed fully clothed… So much for a Romantic Getaway!? The area around the TV wreaks of dust and neglect. I don’t believe that area has been cleaned in 10+ years. The odor of dust nearly bites you every-time you walk across the room. The outdoor soaking hottub was broken. They messed up our breakfast order and so I couldn’t even eat breakfast. No acknowledgment or even simple apology from management regarding these concerns. I never write reviews but felt obligated to share and be heard. When you are a 4 star hotel / B&B and charge $300+ a night, guests have expectations, the least of which are a safe and clean room. The staff and other couples were nice and friendly. But the hotel management itself is aloof and not attentive to cleanliness or the details. 😢
- 5/5
Wonderful room and location. Staff was friendly, breakfast was nice. Would definitely come back again. There was some neglected cleaning in the bathroom with hair in shower and tub. Overall, great experience.

The inn was very comfortable.
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful. Had so much fun!
- 5/5
The Inn is just beautiful and the staff is wonderful. We made a spontaneous decision to stay the night in Capitola and luck was on our side when we scored a room at the Depot. The locals said that the Inn is always booked at this time of year. The property is historic and has a lovely garden and the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We had an outdoor spa tub and a fireplace, which were delightful amenities. We would definitely spend our Anniversary there again. Thanks!
- 5/5
Loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I recommend you stay here and enjoy this amazing hotel. Breakfasts were delish from banana pancakes to scrambled veggie eggs. Will be back!
- 4/5
We got the best, or at least most expensive, room on this, our fourth visit to the Inn. It was a very nice, very clean room, but there were several glitches. Couldn't get the TV to work, couldn't get the electric fireplace to shut off, and couldn't get the doors to the patio to stay closed. Little things, but annoying when paying the top price. And then, of course, there is no staff after 6:00 or so to provide assistance with the little things.
- 5/5
It was awesome! The staff is friendly and I will so miss their breakfasts. Will definitely go back! Excellent location to walking anywhere to avoid all the traffic😊
- 5/5
One of my favorite places to stay. It’s a gem.
- 5/5
This is a charming accommodation within easy walking distance to shopping, dining and the beach in Capitola. The staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect for a few days of relaxation!
- 5/5
Great place! Very clean and well maintained! Exceptionally Beautiful property! Very comfortable beds and very quiet and serene. Staff was amazing! Will stay again!
- 5/5
Inn at Depot Hill didn’t disappoint! The Paris room was beautiful & the dual fireplace was the best part of this room! The view to the garden through the French doors was a lovely! Sagar & staff are the friendliest! Looking forward to our next visit!
- 4/5
Very nice staff
- 4/5
Lovely place. This was our second trip to the Inn and likely not our last. Our only disappointment was a bit of a downgrade in the simple amenities like the snacks, products in the room (like coffee, shampoo etc), and wine served at wine hour. Fresh flowers in the room were missing and port no longer being served in the evenings. It's the little things that could use a bit of refresh to keep this place as charming as ever.
- 5/5
Charming and nicely decorated. Starting to show its age a bit. Staff is friendly, breakfast is very nice and punctual, would be great to have a selection of items. Enjoyed our stay over Christmas.
- 5/5
Bottled water was available in the room, and snacks & tea were in the public area. The fireplace was lit and music set the tone. We got this room because we're two friends traveling, and each wanted our own bed. I'm the shorter of the two, so I took the smaller bed. We couldn't tell by the pictures, but it had its own loft area that felt totally private. I especially loved that I could pull the curtains on the bed; they acted like blackout curtains. It's a great space for a shorter person. There is a Thai place just down the street where we had dinner and I can't recommend it enough. It's clearly a small business with only a few people working but the food was delicious and it's easily walkable from the hotel. But the BEST part was the breakfast the next morning. Wow! Fresh tomato, mozzarella, and basil scramble, with croissant, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. All of it is delivered right to your door. I can not say enough good things about our stay.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay at the Inn on Depot Hill as normal. Staff is very friendly, location is perfect. Love that each room is unique.
- 5/5
I’ve been staying at this property for over 23 years and it never fails me. The owners are hands on and take pride in the Inn. It’s an excellent location with a short walk to the beach and esplanade that has ample shopping and great restaurants.
- 5/5
The rooms are all unique with fireplace much like having your own apartment. The staff Peggy and Sager and the ladies Lettie and Angleina who prepared the best breakfast everyday was such a treat to have delivered to your room and choose to eat in your parlor or on your terrace! If every hotel or chain could take lessons in hospitality and customer service treatments from the Inn at Depot Hill they are more than five stars they are 10 stars and above!
- 5/5
We came here as a “mini moon” and the service was absolutely perfect. Location is excellent and while the rooms are older, everything was very comfortable! We love it and will 100% stay again when we visit Capitola.
- 5/5
It was very charming! House was as expected and room was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice! Only stayed one night, but was very happy with experience. Loved the outside patio with wine and cheese!
- 5/5
Disappointed that there was only milk or processed creamers with morning coffee. Also directions for TV, coffee maker and fireplace should have written directions. Great place to stay!
- 5/5
It’s a cozy, warm and homely. The service is impeccable. The rooms are meticulously decorated and themed. The breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. I would certainly stay again if I were to visit that town again.
- 5/5
In town for a family wedding , love this hotel the room are beautiful they are theme food we stayed in the Tokio room , it’s has your own private zen garden . Great location to beach and restaurants and shops
- 5/5
Stayed in the Paris room. Beautifully appointed from end to end. Felt like we were in Paris!
- 4/5
Nice property I would recommend this place
- 5/5
This is a great couples get away .The staff is amazing and made the stay that much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to couple wanting a nice place to connect with thier partner .
- 5/5
Lovely patio very private and tasty breakfast in our room. Extremely comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Great spot! Offering a great breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location and room. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay!! The hospitality displayed by Peggy was amazing! This is an adults only establishment so keep that in mind when planning. I love kids however, it was nice to enjoy peace and quiet.
- 5/5
1st time staying here and I highly recommend for a couple who wants some romantic moment. Soaking tub and great breakfast deliver to your room when you want. Very pleasant experience with the host and location is walking distance to the beach.
- 4/5
Overall our stay was fine, except for a couple of minor issues. All onsite parking was taken when we got back from dinner, so we had to park on the street. The only heat in the room was the fireplace (portable heater was useless), and we had to get a new lighter to light the gas since the one in the room was broken. Breakfast was decent, but limited to what they served, which didn't provide much variety.
- 5/5
Outstanding property. Outstanding service.
- 5/5
We stay in the “Library Suite” when we visit. The welcoming was outstanding. We appreciate its proximity to the Village. One of our favorite accommodations in the Capitola/Santa Cruz area. Top notch!
- 5/5
Quiet and clean. Close to beach and restaurants. Enjoyed Shadowbrook restaurant!
- 5/5
This is a wonderful, safe, quaint, classy, charming place to stay when visiting Capitola. The service was stellar and the manager, I believe his name is sager was great. This is only a few blocks from beach and easy to get in and out of. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Anniversary weekend in Capitola. The room was amazing and the property is clean and quiet. It was nice to walk to the beach and shops often.
- 4/5
Great fireplace in the room. Beautiful building. Lovely staff.
- 5/5
Amazing, we will definitely be visiting the inn again.
- 5/5
Beautiful Inn, very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Look forward to staying there again.
- 5/5
Nice rooms and service. Breakfast included. Easy walking to beach and main attractions of Capitola
- 5/5
The property has unique rooms with private hot tub for each room. They treated us like royalty
- 5/5
So awesome! Love the Inn. Stay was exceptional! The breakfast was so delicious. Staff was wonderful and very helpful.
- 5/5
Loved the cozy rooms and quaint style. Absolutely Perfect getaway. Host was amazing. On top of every detail and worked with us to personalize our stay. He was absolutely the best. Location was great for access to everything.
- 5/5
It was an amazing time staying at the Inn. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very romantic for my wife and I. We stayed in the Railroad Barons’ room and it was beautiful!!
- 5/5
I would recommend looking at replacing the mattress in our room as it was too soft for my wife and I.
- 3/5
While the overall appearance of the property was nice, the shower fixture in the room did not operate properly. The noise from the adjacent street was pretty loud during the night. The staff was very pleasant but there was a mix-up in that we asked that they service the room but that did not happen.
- 5/5
It was very homey feeling.
- 5/5
This place was amazing!! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Loved the customer service as well. We’ll definitely be going back!
- 5/5
Great place to stay for couples and with walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.
- 4/5
Door looks are in desperate need of upgrading ! Gas fireplace is dangerous and beds immediate upgrade to be automatically started with the press of a button and not the hair and face burning hand held lighter !!! Otherwise, it is a fun and romantic place to relax.
- 5/5
Excellent host, romantic setting, and lovely clean room!
- 5/5
Really great for a special occasion, my wife's birthday. We were fabulously treated from the moment of check in (by Sagar Patel) throughout our entire stay.
- 5/5
The check in experience was amazing. Room was clean and beautiful as described. Easy walk to local beach and host had a great dinner recommendation. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Lovely spot - superior staff - excellent breakfast - 1st class
- 5/5
It’s such a cool top notch hotel with history and 2 Blocks away from shopping and restaurants! Great location! Will stay here again!!!
- 5/5
Thanks, Will & Naomi
- 5/5
I have stayed here once a couple of years ago and now during COVID. It was excellent then, and they made it a wonderful experience now also. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and charming, and the location is great. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I liked the decor of the rooms thats very different from hotels.
- 3/5
We were disappointed with the lack of flexibility concerning our request to change the dates of our stay due to an unexpected event that prevented us from leaving our kids at home overnight. We ended up staying only 3 hours.
- 5/5
Really sweet hotel. Delicious hot breakfast included that is delivered to your room. Ask for the Capitola Room if you're booking a king bed, skip the Costa del Sol Room - there's a huge difference.
- 5/5
