The housekeeper and parking was the only good thing property is very out dated, the linen was very dingy looked dirty shower rod broken but useful no stopper for tub ice machine broken and it look older than the pictures on the website NEEDS A UPGRADE to get a higher star rating remote had no back didn’t turn off TV had manually turned off so if you just needs somewhere to lay down quick this is for you not for luxury

I didnt like anything there the TV broke the room was nasty it smelled like moldy cigarettes and the floors were disgusting. The staff were rude and disrespectful. Told me I could extend my stay and then 3 minutes before check out they told me I had to check out and had to do it by 11

My partner and I left within 30 minutes. The room smelled and felt dirty. The lounging chair was disgustingly stained, as were the linens. The final star was the restroom. The condition of that towel was unacceptable.

The location was perfect, it close to where our church conference was held. The rooms were clean and roomy. Didn’t know about any breakfast, but it’s all good. THE OWNER/CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL,KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY AND MAKES SURE WE ALL SETTLED IN WITH NO PROBLEM. No customer service available at the front desk in the morning. No iron available, other than that it was all good.

I liked the location. It was close to the harbor I needed to be at early in the morning The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was hard as a rock. The paint on the walls was starting to crack

The sheets on the bed had dirt marks burnt marks the towels had hair and dirt marks on them the shower was dirty I did not lay in the bed I slept in the chair at the desk table

The room was run down, paint peeling, linens and towels were stained and burnt, people in both rooms to the side of mine were screaming and fighting all night. Management was no where in sight. This hotel should be removed from Expedia!

We had no hot water and the front desk conveniently wasn’t at the front desk at checkout with a sign that says be back in 15 mins. Well we waited more than 15 mins. Called front desk and no one answered. Would never stay there again

The Roadway Inn is very good for handicapped people, their accessible rooms are nice and easy to start with close parking in front of the door.

This place is like a pig farm. Will never ever go there.

Stayed here before. A go to place when there is nowhere else. Pricing is fair. U-shaped complex. East side I've seen roaches. West side I have not seen roaches. Smoking and non-smoking building. Near the 405fwy.

Stayed here for two weeks for business, then needed to extend my stay due to a family emergency. During my stay there were sirens at all time of the day and night, there were homeless people wandering into open rooms and the parking area, then I learned that Carson uses the hotel to house homeless on vouchers. This is not something you want to find out when you prepay - no refund - at a motel. I thought the gals on the cleaning crew were very nice and worked very hard but I would not leave the room after dark due to the safety issues. I booked three extra days on Saturday with the manager who had no issues with me - and on Sunday (the next day), the owner showed up and said I had one hour to pack and get out. I explained that 1) I had already booked for the extra days with no issue, 2) that I needed extra time with emergency and 3) asked for one extra night so I could book alternate hotel (check out next day, with refunded nights) - The owner said "Not my problem, sleep in your car, you have one hour". I travel one to two weeks per month on business and this was utterly unprofessional and disrespectful. I am a single traveler, rarely up past 930 and booked this hotel for location. The other guests were partying in the parking lot on the weekend until midnight, the office was open when the owner felt like it and no coffee or other hospitality was available. I will not be back. Worst $2500 I have ever spent on a motel.

This place was absolutely awful the entire building looked old the furniture in the room was very outdated and worn and dirty. I wouldn't never stay here again word's of advice read the reviews and don't believe the pictures on the website this place is disgusting

No food options. No hot water. Only one roll of toilet paper. The bath towels needs to be cleaned better, actually they need to be replaced. The room front door wouldn't close we had to slam it. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there. No one around to assist you with anything. I rang the office bell several times and no one responded. The telephone in the room doesn't work.

The room smelled like it a wet towel that has been sitting there. When I turned the AC unit on you can tell it was dirty with dust.

Stayed here for a music festival in long beach and it was just fine for that, mostly quiet, clean good TV channels only complaint the ice machine didn't work

We took this room out of convenience because it was close to relatives home. Non-smoking room smelled like pot and cigarettes, stained linen or linen with holes, furnished with small TV. Poorly insulated, so neighbors sounded loud and we could hear everything. Manager or front desk not available in the morning. There are far less parking spots than rooms. Ice machine out of order.

I did not stay there for that night . It was a cancellation, supposed to be no charge but yet they’re charging me, I when I did stay the week before Iwasn’t satisfied, didn’t have towels in the room and telephone wasn’t working. Had issues with the TV as well.

Stayed at Rodeway Inn at Carson, because it was close to family locally. Non smoking room reaked of smoke from adjascent rooms. Beds ok. Linens looked stained or dirty. Parking ok if you get there early, otherwise you're on the street. Difficult to get a hold of management in anytime in the morning. Would not recommend.

Like this place as it’s next to a favourite restaurant of mine and near the place i always go to

Convenient location, the check in clerk had the door locked in the afternoon however opened it by the time I reached the door. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. My room was situated away from the road noise so was quiet. The only concern, which is outside of the staff’s control was some guy standing in his doorway smoking and unfortunately I had to walk through the drifting smoke to get to my room which didn’t help a respiratory issue.

It was decent for the price.

You get what you paid for. It seems like it's ran by 1 person. Once they leave the front desk, guarantee you waiting for more 30mins.

This was an emergency stay. A pipe burst at my house on Friday. We started work on Saturday but were not able to finish and we didn’t want to have another the night without water. It was fine for the night but wouldn’t stay here as a vacation. The shower curtain had mold at the bottom, easy fix is to throw it in the wash. The sheets also had a not so fresh scent. For the purpose of having water, being able to shower and all, it was fine.

It was ok it’s a lot of traffic, some of the rooms need upgrades and new appliances. The staff was nice and very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. I would go here again just for one night and a last minute situation 🙅‍♀️

The bedding was clearly not cleaned. Stains all over it. Hairs in the bedding. There were towels of different colors and stained in the bathroom, left on the floor, I think to catch the water from the shower. The room also smelled heavily of smoke and mildew when I arrived. I turned on the ac unit and it got mildly better.

The stay was okay until I found critters crawling on the wall.

This property was FILTHY and unsafe! There were men on the 2nd floor with prostitutes walking in and out in broad daylight.

No ice machine, walls inside the room were filthy, only 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no tissues, coffee maker but no coffee, sink faucet sprayed completely out of the sink!

The remote control to the T.V. was not working. I addressed this to the front desk. I was told to turn the T.V. on manually via by the button on television, but not able to adjust the sound or settings due to the remote control not working.

The fridge didn’t keep your food cold and the microwave barely work also the ice machine didn’t work

We stayed for 3 nights- here was my impression- the room did not have A/C on when we came in so smelled musty- turned on A/C & all was fine- unfortunately, they did not change the bedding for a new customer- I read the sign that said if you don't want them to change the sheets leave the sign on pillow-I brought my own pillow cases- helped with the slight musty (old) smell- the towels were nice, short and clean- some stains but didn't take away from it. Beds made daily- the staff did not touch your stuff- shower nice pressure-- DO NOT DRINK THE H2O- TV worked- no noise at night- no unsavoury characters hanging around- got to park in front of room- staff seemed nice, but each time I woke them up as it was either 3 a.m or 6 a.m. Next door convenience store and pizza parlour- 3 mins to big mall and seconds to freeway. Bring your own soap and shampoo- they do offer small soap and shampoo but would not be enough- most hotels will be removing free soap & shampoo very soon - so fill up the old hotel bottles with your own- if you are short on cash and need somewhere to crash this is the place. Other places charge for parking and that's the reason I chose this one-

Older hotel but the room was clean and well maintained. Had the amenities I normally expect (tv, mini fridge, microwave, desk). Nothing was fancy, but wasn't expecting it. The property sits on the edge of some sketchy neighborhoods and the really nice downtown area of Carson. Felt safe with my family. Easy access to the freeway. Nothing close by eat or shop, have to drive down the road a mile or 2. Room was clean an comfortable.

Easy access to room nice management close to job site

The rooms were nice with what appears to be remodeled recently. The bed was a bit hard for our liking. We could hear outside traffic noise and noise from others. It seems there are semi permanent residents or hotel workers who gather outside and talk early in the morning. A few nights we wore earplugs which helped. We also bought a mattress topper which was awesome to sleep comfortably. We would stay again but would use the memory foam topper. it was a few minutes away from Dignity Sports Park which is why we stayed. There was a small fridge and microwave. Somewhere i saw they might have breakfast but we were never informed and not sure where it would be.

The room itself was lacking. There wasn't even a real blanket or comforter, it was just a flat sheet and a very flimsy/thin fleece "blanket." The heater didn't work either. We asked the front desk for extra cups, and the manager/worker was very rude about it, and made us come up to the lobby to get it ourselves. When we finally did go get some, he was snarky about it for no apparent reason.

I stayed at this lodge for 5 days during a conference at long beach. It is very noisy during night, as it is close to the road. Also, the breakfast is very little compare to other places, don’t count on it. The neighborhood is also not very good.

Was very confortable, the hosekeeping let me use bathroom before i cheek in , was easy to find and in a very good lacation

We were relocated to this hotel because Hotels.com over booked our original hotel. When we checked in the person at the counter was really trying to convince me to take a smoking room when I didn't need or want one!!! Thought that was weird to begin with. Once in our room we noticed the AC unit was not working. When I called the front office she told me she had no one to call at that time (10pm) to fix it and that if I wasn't happy I could check out!!! Can't believe the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I received. There were youngsters hanging out late at night, police had to come and remove them from the premises. Room was ok, nothing worth $150!!!
