Reviews
The Lincklaen House is a historic hotel with a charming atmosphere, located in the heart of Cazenovia. Guests generally appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the on-site dining options. However, the lack of an elevator and noise from traffic are frequently mentioned issues, and some guests feel the hotel could benefit from updates and better cleaning.
- Historic charm and atmosphere
- Friendly and helpful staff
- No elevator
- Noise from traffic
- 4/5
It was all great except room 200, junior suite was very noisy from traffic. Can't close window do to AC unit. Staff friendly, clean property, good bed.
- 4/5
Hotel stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel is old and therefore the rooms feel outdated but that's part of the charm. Now for the downsides. The free breakfast was basic. Fresh fruit, packaged cereals, yogurt and a waffle iron to make your own waffles. We didn't eat the breakfast since we like different options. I'm not saying the breakfast is bad, just underwhelming but it is free so I know many people would be more than satisfied with that. The only other issue is the road noise. This hotel is right on the main street and traffic noise is noticeable. I wasn't too bothered by it but my girlfriend was. Again this is an older hotel and expectations should consider this. Overall a lovely stay in an historic hotel with great staff.
- 5/5
We actually stayed two nights after thinking we only had an overnight planned. The first night we lucked into the room w the jet tub. While an up charge if was worth the expense do the wife to chill and enjoy.
- 5/5
beautiful historic property
- 5/5
Highly recommend this property! Everything was clean and the room was extremely comforting. AC in the room worked great, which was great for such a large old building, it would have been very warm. The tavern in the basement was delightful as were all the local shops in the vicinity.
- 5/5
Very quaint!
- 5/5
Really enjoyed the stay. Food was excellent. The evening meal was top of the range and the continental breakfast was better than most. Old building has a lot of character.
- 5/5
Had a great stay loved the historical setting of the whole town
- 5/5
The beds were comfortable and pillows were much better than any other hotel we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was very good with healthy options. Coffee was weak the first morning but was much stronger and very good the second morning. One complaint on our room was they need to buy curtains to go over the blinds. One window with A/C unit had a blind that only came down to top half of window which left the rest of the window wide open. Also, you could see into other rooms through the gaps where the blinds didn’t cover the windows. Curtains would resolve this issue. We really liked the pub in the basement. It was very convenient and the food was good. We loved the location of the Inn in the village.
- 5/5
Lovely and charming place
- 4/5
Plenty of charm and history in this hotel. We enjoyed a quiet dinner by the fireplace in the restaurant on the main floor. Continental breakfast was served in a small enclosed porch overlooking a courtyard, cheery even on a rainy morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient off street parking located behind the hotel, but no elevator so be ready to carry your luggage up the staircase.
- 5/5
Great hotel, the staff were friendly and excellent. Nice walk to the lake from the hotel. Will be back later this year.
- 4/5
I found the staff at the desk very accommodating to m,y needs.
- 5/5
The property is very well maintained, but being a older hotel there are no elevators to access the upper levels. The room we stayed in also didn't have amenities like a fridge or microwave, but this was noted at the time of the reservation. The restaurant on the property was very good - food quality, service and pricing were all reasonable.
- 4/5
The Inn was lovely but I was very disappointed in the continental breakfast. I expected more. The coffee wasn't even hot.I went down there at 8:00 am and ended up going out for breakfast and I am really not very picky.
- 5/5
Such a charming historic building! The tavern is adorable and the food was tasty. Comfy beds and a great shower. We really loved our stay, and wish we had more time to enjoy and explore!
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean & comfy. Nostalgic moment. Reminded me of my grandparents home. Furniture outdated. Needs restoring. Overall would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Great atmosphere. Very comfortable. Needs more upkeep. A bit frayed around the edges.
- 4/5
Food was great, tavern very convenient and great menu and staff.
- 4/5
Room accommodations were just ok.
- 5/5
It was a wonderful stay. The room was very spacious, bed and pillows were comfy and cozy. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The breakfast was well stocked and the coffee was hot. The town surrounding the hotel has some lovely shops in walking distance, with very nice shop keepers that were very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful Hotel.
- 5/5
Lovely place! Would jump at opportunity to stay again next time I’m ever in the area. Thanks!!
- 5/5
Simple breakfast options waffle cereal coffee tea bread etc, local feel in a historic hotel, small restaurants nearby and underneath the hotel that gives such a charm to the village will definetly be back
- 5/5
Great spot. Older house type feel.friendly staff and parking was easy and available.
- 5/5
Welcoming staff. Food very good Room clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Beautiful room, but very noisy from traffic. Dining in the restaurant was underwhelming.
- 5/5
Very nice alternative to typical hotel chains. We're glad we visited here.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Did not have a hot tub, nor did we know of one. Did not need the A/C and heating was good.
- 5/5
Great breakfast served and the restaurants we close to walk to
- 5/5
A very charming old hotel. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and there are plenty of places to eat. One of my favorites.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean quite
- 3/5
We loved the property itself, the tavern downstairs was great and the common spaces were lovely. However, the room was not that great, and the bed was not super comfortable. But the worst part was that the entire night, all we heard were the footsteps of the room above us. (At one point, a VERY loud BOOM sound as well, like they dropped a bowling ball. It was unfortunate because this was a special valentine's day getaway.
- 3/5
Nice o people though. , Out dated
- 5/5
Our go to spot when visiting our son at SUNY Morrisville. Never disappoints.
- 5/5
Rooms are comfortable and cozy, especially on a frigid winter weekend. Comfortable bed and warm room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good complimentary breakfast offerings. We love the historic charm of the hotel and being right in the heart of this charming village. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and the beautiful lake!
- 5/5
Lovely Old hotel
- 5/5
This is a historic, beautiful hotel with a friendly staff.
- 5/5
The Lincklaen House was so cute. It was a little dated but honestly it felt like it fit the vibe of the small town. Parking was in a convenient spot and the location was great for adventuring around. Breakfast was super delicious and everything was clean. I would stay here again!
- 5/5
Beautiful room with lots of space and comfortable furniture. The building is so cool!
- 5/5
Chef for the bar restaurant downstairs is amazing. Every dish I've had was prepared with love . This was my third time staying and the staff at the hotel are always kind and friendly.great bed , soft but firm at the same time . Amazing pillows . Thanks as always for a great stay! See you again :)
- 5/5
Friendly people, comfort, convenience, location.
- 5/5
By far one of the most welcoming properties I have ever had the pleasure to visit. Beautifully appointed, comfortable room, great tavern, and excellent continental breakfast. I can’t wait to travel here again!
- 5/5
Just great. Very clean. Comfortable beds and pleasant atmosphere
- 5/5
great place!
- 5/5
Had a great stay!
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
The Staff was FABULOUS particularly Tricia at the Front Desk. I called on our drive in from Ohio and Tricia was so Nice on the telephone and very UNDERSTANDING. She took the time out to find out how to accomodate us the Best. She sure did!! The Hotel is Beautiful and VERY HOSPITABLE. We came in to the Tavern at about 10 minutes before closing time for dinner and they served us with a SMILE. This Hotel is VERY WELCOMING and I would recommend this stay to ANYONE. Our stay was FABULOUS!!!
- 1/5
Extremely noisy room, all you hear are the bars bathroom doors open and closing until bar closes. No hot water, heat sweating hot or off, no in between.
- 5/5
Historical experience
- 2/5
The place could definitely use some upgrading. The TV would not work despite an attempt by the staff. Parking was in the back but that door is only for wheelchairs, so we were made to walk around the building through the snow with luggage.
- 5/5
Room clean, and staff was amazing.
- 4/5
The inn was so quaint and perfectly dressed for the holidays. We loved our stay. Our room was a great size (a junior suite), the bed was very comfortable and the decor was well chosen. We didn't eat at the Lincklaen, but some good restaurants are in walkable distance.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised with this stay-- it was a beautiful building, and my hotel room was quite large and spacious. Staff was nice, restaurants were good. Centrally located.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
The room was great. It was a little tough being on the 2nd floor and having no elevator with luggage. Other than that, very nice.
- 5/5
Great breakfast.
- 5/5
We love staying here!
- 5/5
Beautiful building, staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs, clean, beautifully historic.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Very clean rooms, very welcoming staff, great Tavern for drinks and dinner, Seven Stone Steps!
- 2/5
They did not have good internet. I could not get online to check important emails.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly. And we had dinner at the tavern downstairs, very solid food and great drinks
- 4/5
Everything was good, staff was great. Please accept the limitations of a historic hotel - no elevator, air conditioning was ineffective.
- 5/5
Nice stay for the price. It may be important for some folks. This hotel does not have any elevator. It wasn't an issue for us, but may be a deterrent for others. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Breakfast felt fresh
- 4/5
This is a fantastic old house with good bones! We had dinner in the main restaurant and the food, service, and ambiance was excellent. They also have a pizza parlor and a tavern which we did not visit, but those would have been nice options if we had stayed more than one night. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was large and clean. The only downside was that the shower handle didn't work quite right and so it was almost impossible to get the shower water temperature right, but I think it was a minor and easy issue for the maintenance staff to fix so I don't expect that to be an issue next time. I would definitely stay here again. The area is wonderful as well. Parking is a little far - behind the building down a side street.
- 5/5
This place is a classic! Our room was comfy & quiet. Bathroom facilities could do with an update, but everything was super clean ... and the staff was warm and welcoming.
- 4/5
The staff was outstanding! Made you feel very welcome. Went out of their way to assist.
- 5/5
Cute location in New York, staff was friendly and helpful. Fun place to stay!
- 2/5
Check-in was at 4 p.m., and I arrived at 6 p.m. My assigned room was right next to the stairs, but when I entered, it had not been cleaned, the bed was unmade, and dirty sheets were left on the floor. I notified the front desk, and while the clerk seemed surprised, they offered me a different room on a higher floor. I accepted, though it was inconvenient since my 35-lb dog is afraid of stairs, and I had to carry her up another level. The new room looked somewhat better, but it appeared as if someone had sat on the bed. The clerk didn’t seem concerned when I mentioned it. The sheets seemed clean, so I let it go, but the chairs smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the shower liner was dirty. The building itself has charm and great potential, but the lack of cleanliness and upkeep made my stay disappointing. I appreciated the pet-friendly policy, but I couldn’t wait to check out.
- 5/5
Historical property. Feel of old golden age. Interesting experience. Great price.
- 5/5
Great location very quaint property
- 3/5
Air conditioners are in the windows of the rooms so if the room looks over the street you hear the road noise as well
- 5/5
My only hesitation for a perfect rating was a bit of difficulty with the valve that switches the water from the bath tub faucet to the showerhead.
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay for one night with my cat. I’m 71 years old and I travel solo. When I rented it, I didn’t realize it didn’t have an elevator, and my room was on the third floor. The staff helped me carry my stuff up as it was very difficult for me. And then when I checked out another person helped me, take my stuff down the stairs. I had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant. I recommend this place!
- 4/5
Our room was very adequate, separate spaces for double beds & tv’s, nice roomy bathroom in between. Mattress upgrades would have been wonderful! We had dinner in the pub, & breakfast down the street at Dave’s Diner. We have been to Cazenovia several times & love it. The price of the room was very affordable on Hotels.com
- 5/5
Every thing was great
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was friendly & helpful
- 5/5
No too bad
- 5/5
the stay was brief. Early check in not available so stay was 4pm to app 10 am following morning. Limited parking but Was given accommodation for parking following a late return from an offsite event. Clean, comfortable, would stay there again
- 4/5
Lovely old building and nice staff! Bathrooms are a little dated but it adds to the charm. Affordable and super convenient location in town!
- 5/5
Very stately rooms! Excellent location! Many dining options and shopping places!
- 5/5
This is a cute hotel in a really cute little town. We would stay there again.
- 5/5
It’s a beautiful place to stay . So much to offer , everything is within walking distance. Love this little town .
- 5/5
Beautiful historic structure. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was excellent. Location is downtown Cazenovia so very walkable and convenient to shopping and dining. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Old hotel with lot’s of history. Very comfortable sleep which was most needed.
- 5/5
We had dinner with her and her roommate in the Tavern, the meals were delicious.
- 4/5
The rooms are clean and the staff is very amenable. There are not a lot of amenities that are offered like there are in large hotel chains but it is rustic, quiet and easily accessible. Quite quaint.
- 5/5
Historic hotel with great dining and warm and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Nicely furnished room with lots of space. Traffic noise is very loud at times. No ice fridge wifi or elevator. It is an old fashioned place but still.
- 3/5
It was a really nice hotel but was in a front room next to main Street was very loud. Could hear everything on main Street woke me up several times during the night. The staff was great.
- 5/5
Right down town near all of the shops. The food was excellent…service friendly & beds comfy!
- 5/5
Always a great experience when we stay here.
- 5/5
Immaculate property. AC and lights on to welcome us to room. Our second time here. Easy to walk to restaurants or eat there. Felt very safe.
- 5/5
An excellently historic place. Loved everything about it.
- 4/5
The 'free breakfast' is basically just a make-your-own-waffle, bread for toast, and maybe some cereal; so, don't get your hopes up there. However, the little pub down below is great and seems to be a go-to for the locals. Overall, it's a great, nostalgic place and well worth the stay.
- 4/5
My family stayed here for just one night over Labor Day weekend as a not quite last minute getaway. The inn is a great, historic building with lots character, especially in the common areas. The staff with whom we intercated were all helpful and courteous. We ended up ordering room service and there was no additional fee charged, which is rare these days. The area in which the inn is located in walkable to multiple Cazenovia restaurants, small businesses, parks, beautiful residential streets with early to mid 19th century homes, and the former Cazenovia College campus. On the downside, the hotel suite that we stayed in lacked the character of the common areas and had cleanliness issues. Aside from the impressive king bed with carved bedposts, the suite otherwise felt like a generic short term furnished apartment. There were dust and crumbs in the corners of the sitting area and bedroom, some stains on a side table by the door, a piece of ribbon tied to an overhead exposed pipe, and an old bar of bath soap sitting with its wrapper on top of the frame for the sliding shower door. The room gave the impression that it was cleaned, but hastily, after the last guest left. There were no cleanliness issues with the bedding.
- 5/5
We love this place! I will be staying frequently to visit my daughter at SUNY Morrisville. A unique place to stay and Seven Stone Steps tap room is a wonderful place to eat.
- 4/5
Lovely staff, loved the hotel but we were on the 3rd floor. It was a walk up and i have knee issues and had hurt my back a few days before so the 3rd floor was difficult for me. I was not asked if stairs would be a problem so that was an unpleasant surprise.
- 4/5
It was a wonderful stay in a historic building
- 5/5
Beautiful! Well located! Haunted af! I stayed in room 203. While working on homework in the main living area the light in the bathroom down the hall flickered on and off at the same time as the ac turning on and off. Nothing else in the room was effected power wise. I was left however with goosebumps weird energy and experiencing that same thing twice. Would stay again. Historical. Beautiful. Friendly staff!
- 5/5
The Lincklaen Hotel is for anyone who likes history and charm. It has a stunning lobby that puts you back in time to a victorian era. The restaurant downstairs has a pub vibe and delicious food and drink. I will definitely stay there again when visiting the area.
- 5/5
If you are passing through Cazenovia, definitely consider the Lincklaen House.
- 3/5
Charming place with a ton of history. However, they need to do a better job with cleanliness in the rooms. Our room had three major stains on the carpet. The windows blinds were covered in dirt. I was afraid to touch them to open and look outside. Our bathroom ceiling had orange spots all over it. Finally, the cornflakes we almost opened for breakfast were three months expired.
- 4/5
Nice staff and easy, simple hotel. Cute town location!
- 5/5
Overall we loved the place, and the staff, The continental breakfast and the ambience, was wonderful. When I visit my granddaughter in Morrisville, I will always stay at this same location.
- 5/5
The vibes were immaculate. Historic and beautiful. The room was spacious and amazing. Loved every quirky thing about it. Will definitely return!
- 4/5
The only negative was our room was at the front of the buiding, on the main street, so the occasional traffic was heard throughout the night. If you need quiet, ask for a room in the back of the hotel.
- 2/5
Wood furniture hasn’t been dusted in months , dust layer on all tables, dressers & and bed, no small frig in room ,had left overs from dinner & had to throw out , stains in carpets through our room , a/c in room was widow unit & not big enough to cool room , was 90 outside , room was 78 & a/c was on 65
- 5/5
Comfortable with vintage feel in a historic building at the center of town. Continental breakfast is an added plus.
- 5/5
Absolutely love that they are a historic building and dog friendly without huge pet fees. It really helps-- and I always avoid places with big fees so will definitely stay again
- 4/5
It’s an older property and my only issue was the internet didn’t reach my room. It was nice to be unplugged for the night - but something to be aware of if you were expecting to get work done on your stay.
- 5/5
A beautiful place with friendly staff
- 4/5
👌
- 5/5
We were only there for ten hours but had an enjoyable stay. Check in was breeze and the staff was great throughout. The room wasn't huge but it was big enough. Everything was clean. It wasn't a large breakfast but it fit the bill. The hotel has a restaurant and a pub but did not have time to go to either. We had been to the town several times so we did not do any walking but everything is close by. The price fit into our budget.
- 5/5
Bathroom tub needs to be replaces or updated
- 5/5
Enjoy our stay and especially loved dining downstairs. Breakfast was great in such a beautiful setting.
- 5/5
Very pretty, outdoor dining, courtesy of staff. Would go back. A very cute town
- 3/5
Stayed just for an overnight. Booked last room available which had double beds. The carpet was old and the room had a smell of an ashtray. Everything was very outdated from furniture to beds. Bathroom was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast had plenty of things to choose from. Didnt try the restaurant but there different functions going on so the place stays busy. For a historical landmark it needs a little more TLC.
- 3/5
The building is old and could be very charming, but it was not very clean. While the staff was friendly, they didn’t seem to communicate with each other very well. Our room was not ready when we arrived, which was fine, but the front desk didn’t seem to be aware that the room hadn’t been cleaned yet. Dinner was not inexpensive, but the risotto was undercooked, and the rest of the food was mediocre. Additionally, the very cheerful wait staff also seemed very disorganized. We never knew which waitress was actually in charge of our table. We left to eat breakfast elsewhere because breakfast choices were very limited.
- 5/5
First time visiting the area. My twin sister and I went for an overnight to celebrate our birthday. The hotel is lovely, charming & cozy with accommodating friendly staff. We very much enjoyed our stay. The food in the tavern on site was delicious and the very kind bartender, Tom even bought our first birthday cocktail. Would definitely recommend a stay in this quaint hotel full of history.
- 5/5
As we wound our way to the check-in desk we were both struck by the elegance and charm of the house. The woman at the front desk was very helpful explaining how to find the parking lot and check in was quick. Our room was beautiful and spacious. It was sparkling clean, comfortable and cool. We made a wise choice of dining in the on site restaurant. The service and the food were both superb. From check in to check out, every aspect of our stay was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and kept everything running smoothly even while filming and preparing for a wedding. It was obvious every staff member took great pride in their work. Our stay at the Lincklaen House was a highlight of our trip, we plan to return someday.
- 3/5
I checked in at around 8:00 pm and the woman at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating! I had stayed in The Lincklaen House in 2018 and was so excited to return and spend the weekend in Cazenovia. The hotel is charming and rustic and historic, but my room was just really dusty and rundown. Hope guylly the hotel can have a refresh that preserves its historic charm while getting rid of the old rugs and such. I would still come back in the future! The bar and restaurant are wonderful and the town is so beautiful.
- 4/5
Quaint and historical. My husband and I could have stayed at one of many brand name hotels (generic). So happy to have stayed here. It was adorable! Debbie, at the front desk, was welcoming and helpful. My husband and I just completed a 5 1/2 hour drive and were exhausted. The tavern downstairs was great. FRESH POPOVERS! Enough said. 100% positive experience.
- 3/5
The condition of the room was not up to par. It took until the third day for the bathroom to be properly cleaned.
- 4/5
Thus hotel was close to areas we were visiting. Lots of food places to try.
- 5/5
Charming old hotel with so much character
- 5/5
Old school
- 5/5
The good: well located, charming decor, and a super helpful staff. Cute pub in the basement and lovely outdoor breakfast patio. Nice shops and restaurants nearby and the front desk recommended a beautiful winery within a few miles. Possibly the most beautiful bed I've ever slept in. The bad: My 86 y.o. mother and I had to shlep our luggage up to the 3rd floor ourselves - no elevator and no porters. That would have been nice to know beforehand. Coffee was terrible, but cafe next door rocked.
- 5/5
A fantastic atmosphere and a great restaurant too.
- 3/5
Stairs, stairs and more stairs. If you have a problem with stairs, be careful here.
- 4/5
The hotel is located in a cute historic town. The hotel is historic with a restaurant and tavern. It was very safe and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They honored our requests. Pet friendly with no pet fee was nice. Continental self serve breakfast was included. The bed was high, but was comfortable. There is no elevator, but they offered to help with luggage. Parking is behind the building and was safe. The room didn’t have a refrigerator or microwave. We enjoyed our one night stay. GPS takes you through a rural area before you arrive in Cazanovia.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had everything we needed. Just a note - no elevators so if you have trouble with steps request the first floor.
- 5/5
This hotel is an antique, but charming. One thing that I had difficulty with was the height of the beds. I am 78 years old and have some mobility issues, and it was very difficult for me to climb into bed. Bedsyeps or a stepstool should be provided when old beds are so high! Also, no elevator was a challenge.
- 5/5
Fantastic place
- 5/5
Wonderful staff and place to stay
- 5/5
The staff is always so welcoming and friendly! Another great stay as usual!
- 5/5
Second time staying here, I love it more each time, I plan on returning next year again, beautiful hotel very friendly staff and amazing food.
- 5/5
It was a charming old hotel built in the early 1800's. Completely refurbished, nice large rooms, courteous staff, and a large restaurant.
- 5/5
Great location. Loved the historic atmosphere. We were on third floor and WiFi was an issue.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
quaint
- 5/5
This is an old historical property in a cute town
- 5/5
We had a very nice weekend at your hotel! Thank you. We hope to return soon.
- 5/5
Food on site was great. Staff so nice. Walking around very enjoyable.
- 5/5
I love this place…so much charm and history.
- 5/5
This quaint historic hotel was attractive, comfortable and inviting in every way. From comfortable beds, to wonderful dining, welcoming lobby and warms fireplaces, it had it all. Continental breakfast was great too. Loved the staff who were so helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this place for dinner or overnight stays.
- 4/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
Beautiful historic property with excellent service. Staff was very responsive. Lovely common area and restaurant.
- 4/5
staff was very courteous and helpful. Property was clean and well kept for a historic building.
- 5/5
We have stayed here multiple times and every time it was great. Easy check in, friendly staff and Continental breakfast is included!
- 5/5
Would recommend highly
- 3/5
The hotel is located in a great little town just outside of Syracuse, NY. It is an older building however, so there is no elevator (for its 3 floors) and limited WiFi (which I could rarely get). My room faced the main road, so it was very noisy from outside traffic. I stayed for 3 nights. Room was attended to after the first night, but the trash was not emptied. Room was not serviced for the rest of my stay, so that trash just kept piling up. I’m sure it would have been dealt with if I had mentioned it. Staff is very accommodating. Because it is an older building the paint on the walls is dinged up, but the cleanliness and bug free nature of it more than make up for it. It is a very reasonably priced option compared to everything around it. They even offer a nice breakfast, even though the waffle maker tends to stick. This is my second time staying there and it is because I know it will be clean and bug free! It is a good choice at a reasonable price.
- 3/5
Need water glasses in the rooms. A coffee bar on the first floor would be nice. Your wifi on the second floor doesn't connect with the internet and that's most inconvenient. My lasagna was excellent. Our bedroom matress was excellent.
- 5/5
Staff friendly and rooms are very clean
- 5/5
Very historic building with a lot of charm. Dinning was excellent
- 5/5
Basically help me to have a place where to sleep after a long day with a concert's night. I just spent the night and it was really cozy.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my Easter weekend stay at Lincklaen House. The hotel is quaint and comfortable. The bed was large and comfortable. I appreciated the 3 choices of restaurants. My only wish is that they offered a little more in hot breakfast items, but understand that they are a mall hotel. I would absolutely stay again!
- 5/5
Omg! We were absolutely in love. The front desk was extremely accommodating, always smiling ♥️ The town was adorable the Jr. King suite was the most comfortable room/bed Ever! I travel a lot for business and wow! I’d wish all hotels I stay had the same amazing customer service. We’ll be definitely going back over and over. The food was sooo fresh and delicious 100% excellence.
- 3/5
Small, outdated room with very noticeably sloping floors. The continental breakfast left much to be desired.

Room was comfortable, but a bit noisy with the location right on Rt. 20. Very spotty internet connection throughout our 2-night stay.

Have stayed many times when visiting family in the area. Love the home like feel, unlike the chain hotels. Staff is always friendly and the rooms clean.

We always love staying at the Lincklaen House - We stayed in the King Suite and it is perfect for a weekend getaway - and the location is in the heart of Cazenovia.

The property was clean and staff extremely helpful and friendly. I felt very welcome the moment I walked in the door. I will definitely stay there again.

We really like this hotel. It was warm, charming, clean and the staff very nice. Great spots to eat right on location and full continental breakfast is included. However, there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue. This may be a problem. Also, parking is free and behind the hotel not far.

Hotel is a fun place to visit if you are OK with all the limitations of an old historic building in the downtown area. Staff is super friendly.

Very cosy atmosphere with fireplaces and decorated to highlight the history of the building. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable, the room spacious. We loved the jetted tub in the suite. It was a solid choice for a good price. Very close to Chittenango state park
