Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its convenient location, modern design, and friendly staff. However, some guests have expressed disappointment with the lack of coffee and creamers in the room, as well as issues with the TV and AC units. Additionally, some guests have noted that the hotel can be noisy due to obnoxious guests and nearby emergency services.
- Convenient location
- Friendly staff
- Lack of coffee and creamers in room
- Noise from obnoxious guests and nearby emergency services

Staff not particularly friendly or welcoming.
- 3/5
A staff member just said, “no” when i asked if she knew where i could get a bandaid. Overall, impression of staff was not especially competent or welcoming.
- 5/5
The receptionist was absolutely amazing and professional. She assisted us in checking in 1 1/2 hours early in 30 seconds. The area is supper quiet and very nice. The hotel was very clean and modern.
- 3/5
For a premium hotel in the University area, they not having breakfast items or even juice or milk was a huge disappointment.
- 1/5
Leaving a $700 hold on our card for incidentals caused other charges to bounce. No posting, no smoking. So not sure why other than maybe laziness? Calling the desk got us rude service. A run of the mill holiday inn or days inn would have been a better choice.
- 2/5
We stayed here for a wedding and the location was very convenient to the wedding venue however the rooms were spartan no shelves and just laid out badly. Not impressed. The wall were thin could hear people in other rooms in detail. No sound proof. There was an outdoor patio that was dirty and right a main causeway noisy and congested not well planned. This was probably one of the worse hotels I’ve stayed at.
- 5/5
Don’t park in the wrong spots in the parking deck. I had a warning on my car but it was my fault.
- 1/5
This was the worst stay I’ve had at this hotel. I prepaid weeks in advance for a king bed room. When I checked in they would only give me a queen bed room. The biggest problem was that even though I prepaid, I was charged TWICE for the room upon check in and check out. The reimbursement took over a week to credit to my account. If I had not been checking my bank account, those two extra payments would’ve never been corrected. The staff only said that it was a new system. There was no offer assist with a faster reimbursement or anything. I was very very disappointed.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 3/5
Hope I get my money finally back.
- 4/5
A very attractive and functional room. I would appreciate decaf coffee in the lobby as well as gluten free breakfast options. Note that unless oats are certified gluten free, they can’t be consumed by those needing a gluten free diet.
- 2.5/5
It’s clean nice staff but room bright lot street noise Clean
- 5/5
Good, comfy space a short drive from the heart of Chapel Hill.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean, quiet, staff helpful, plenty of off-street parking. Breakfast was not included. Overall surprisingly nice. Would definitely return.
- 4.5/5
the room was very clean and comfortable. there should be more wastebaskets with liners. all else was great - quiet, soothing. very little. They could add a real breakfast without much trouble, not just the sort-of-continental breadfast they offer. the coffee was good.
- 1/5
Can hear cars on the road, lobby smells bad.
- 2/5
Loved how clean and organized everything was The bar was never open. Herd from others that they haven't seen anyone at the bar in weeks. The pool had an odd smell. Not to mention the lobby smelled like someone used 12 cans of cleaning spray that would run you out the building
- 5/5
Personable
- 5/5
Loved our stay at Aloft. Staff was great, super clean, great location. Loved the breakfast set up and the ability to walk to lots of places
- 4.5/5
There was a bar in the lobby and the bartender made an amazing martini. Very personable guy.
- 4/5
The room was neat, clean, location was good, not too far from School of Government, The room was a little small but cozy. The bed was average, not the most comfortable but comparable with other hotel rooms. There was nowhere to put my soap while taking a shower, I have sensitive skin, so I don't take chances, I bring my dove soap, I put a towel on the rail and put it on the towel. The TV was small, but it played well so you can't have it all. Would like to have a hanger for pants, I folded them over and hung them up.
- 4/5
The location is wonderful, feels safe, can walk to shopping, restaurants, Fresh Market, etc. Nice atmosphere and attractive landscaping.
- 1.5/5
nothing Air conditioner was so loud you could not sleep. No lids that fit the coffee cups, simple fix but no one carried. Very poor customer service. It you don't fix something as small as a coffee cup lid how can we trust you to care about anything else.
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 5/5
Check in was hassle free
- 4/5
Wasn’t a long stay but enjoyable. Would stay again if ever in area
- 4/5
Clean and modern decor. Conveniently located about a mile from the university. Parking and check in were easy was and staff were nice. Good gym but small pool. Paid breakfast option is not worth it.
- 2.5/5
Very convenient location Too much road noise! Cars racing at 0200
- 4/5
There was no "breakfast" only a small refrigerator with some yogurt. The counter was barren otherwise. Parking was nice. Staff was friendly. My room did have a constant noise which was annoying through the night. Oy was overall pleasant.
- 5/5
Need more bed side table space, there was a device that took up the whole table space. It could not be moved. It would be nice if you offer a discount for medical appointments.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Clean and modern.
- 5/5
I didn't have the breakfast so I don't know what it was like, however I did go to the pool and the reason I choose this hotel was because of the pics of the pool with all the floaties in it and it looked so clean. I was with my two young grandkids and that's what we were expecting. Although I'm sure due to COVID a while ago they were removed, however with proper cleaning of the floaties, a least a few would be nice. But I did enjoy my stay, staff was excellent!!...clean and nice facility. I would come back.
- 5/5
Clean Quiet Close to my conference
- 4/5
The bar needs to be updated, I ordered a club soda with lemon and they didn't have any lemon or lime!
- 5/5
Overall , met our needs, convenient location for travel to UNC. Clean room, quiet area, and helpful staff.
- 5/5
The staff was great! Front desk did a great job and catered to our every need.
- 4/5
Rooms are clean and comfortable. The property is showing a little wear but it’s very nice as a whole. Walkable distance to a couple good restaurants.
- 5/5
Very nice and new hotel convenient to campus!
- 5/5
Clean, smelled fresh, comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had read some negative reviews and was a little Leary but I was pleasantly surprised. Great overnight stay before checking into hospital for surgery! Would and will book again.
- 5/5
We actually had booked at a different hotel for our short visit to Chapel Hill and it was gross, smelled terrible, and was a little scary just to be honest. So we quickly checked right back out and found ALOFT - Thank Goodness!!! From the second I walked in the lobby door I felt at home and welcomed! Staff is friendly, helpful and just plain fantastic with my every question and request. The entire hotel had the most wonderful clean fragrance. The room was just what we needed, clean and again had a nice clean fragrance. On site gym was very nice. And the lobby lounge area had a great fun/homey atmosphere where everyone could feel comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we visit Chapel Hill!!!
- 3/5
Parking is a challenge.
- 5/5
Shops near by, quiet, comfortable bed.close to Dean Smith center
- 5/5
Lovely staycation for my daughter and I, the location was great and the staff was attentive and kind.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Quick check in. Clean and comfortable room. My only complaint was no coffee creamer was offered.
- 5/5
Easy check in, great location, clean
- 3/5

- 5/5
Great room. Quiet, Great lobby, staff and location. Would stay here again!!!
- 4/5
Nice accommodations! Pillows could be better!
- 4/5
Staff, location and amenities.
- 4/5
Rooms are very nice and clean. Modern designed hotel with all the amenities. Has bar but not open
- 5/5
It was wonderful room and the desk assistants were helpful. You need to ensure your room gets clean if you leave it past 12.00 noon and ask for new towels and extara coffee or tea.
- 2/5
Perfect location for appt at UNC Spine Center. Bed was comfy. Pillows had no sweat smell from previous guests. Was able to check in a bit early. Quiet with the exception for occasional next door fire department. Handicap accessible rooms are not on the first floor and are a long walk from elevators. Was given an occupied room key card and discovered it when I opened the door; good thing no one was in! Got a new, thankfully unoccupied, room which entailed 2 long walks to the handicap accessible rooms for a disabled person with cane and luggage. Parking is at a premium; no handicap parking. Mini fridge had to be unplugged due to noise. Heating could only be used for a short time because it sounded so loud and shook so badly I thought it would fall off the building. Breakfast is advertised as available, but was not offered at check in and the breakfast area was deserted when I checked out. The entire first floor seems to be dedicated as a bar/lounge.

- 4.5/5
I'd like a microwave in the room.
- 3/5
Room not as expected. No microwave in the room, the one on the floor ran, but didnt heat. It was not comfortable. However the staff were great. Parking situation was not clear based on the description. Stayed one night, that was enough.
- 5/5
I liked everything
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and the room was perfect
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet and great staff
- 5/5
The stay exceeded my expectations. Staff were professional, hotel was close to the activities that I attended from the Tarheels basketball game, shopping, dinning and workout facilities close by.
- 5/5
No
- 4/5
The room was clean and neat. I wish they had a complimentary breakfast and I wish they had an iron/iron board. I really needed one. Other than not having a microwave in the room, the stay overall was good.
- 4.5/5
Everything was very good. Everything was clean in the room including the bathroom. The pool and area was clean and indoors and the water was warm, but we didn't go swimming. The gym was nice and clean. It had a pool table. This place is a great place to stay, but if a breakfast is very important than you might need to get a different hotel. It didn't both us but just wanted to add that. It's amazing that people will stay in a smoke free hotel and still smoke. We had someone near our room that smoked. We could smell it in the hallway several times. This isn't against the hotel, but against people that don't think of others considering some people are allergic to smoke. nothing really
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast but free coffee was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was extremely clean!
- 5/5
Clean. Nice hotel.
- 5/5
Nice room and decor. Good free parking. Nice staff. Enjoyed pool table in lobby
- 5/5
Nice room and decor. Good free parking. Nice staff. Enjoyed pool table in lobby
- 3/5
It was dirty and SOOOO dated. Horrible decor. Annoying that they don’t have bathtubs. There is a giant speaker?? thing on the bedside table. I didn’t see a way to connect to it. I think it’s from like 2000 and you’re supposed to plug your ipod into it??
- 5/5
Clean room. Enjoyed the stay.
- 5/5
Clean, efficient, friendly
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
Staff very helpful and personable.
- 5/5
The room is spotless. It wasn`t a first stay for us and every time the expirience is great. The best place to stay in Chapel Hill/Carrboro area
- 4/5
The front of the hotel is noisy due to the high traffic on 54. There was no ice bucket in the room. No free water like in Asheville Aloft.
- 4/5
The staff was excellent
- 5/5
Nice place in a great area. Clean, quiet. Front desk personnel very friendly with good customer service.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, great location
- 4/5
Staff was good
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and convenient. Nice staff
- 5/5
Shane and Brandon are amazing.
- 5/5
Welcoming staff, cool bar, nice restaurant, area has choices for food etc altogether a great choive
- 5/5
?
- 4/5
The staff was very courteous and helpful. There was an insect infestation in the window. I think it was just lady bugs. Everything else was clean. Loved the quirky decor.
- 5/5
Wonderful place
- 5/5
Really good place to stay. Only complaint was the lack of a comfortable chair in the room.
- 3/5
Staff was pleasant. Room had horrendous smell. Wasnt the cleanest. Outside lighting was horrible.
- 4/5
More outside noise (sirens, cars) than expected. Was woken up a few times each night.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and super helpful.
- 4/5
The AC did not work in our first room and we were moved to another room. This room’s AC wasn’t much better. Other than that, great experience.
- 5/5
Room was cleaned exceptionally well; day refresh was perfect. Front desk staff were helpful, warm and had good senses of humor. Bath products good; room had safe and mini-fridge (which was a bit hidden). Only drawback is the proximity to the main road, which can have some noisy traffic (but not that much). We’ve stayed at the Courtyard Marriott near the Friday Center for conferences in the past, but we plan to stay at the Aloft for all future visits. It is cheaper, cleaner, nicer, and friendlier (and parking is easy and free!). Recommend highly.
- 5/5
Great location to UNC. Friendly staff, rooms were clean and spacious, atmosphere was festive for a game day weekend.
- 5/5
All of the staff were friendly, fun, and so accommodating. The front desk staff, the gentleman at the bar, and the housekeepers that said hi in the hall, they all made our stay feel special.
- 5/5
Great location, quiet hotel with a multipurpose lobby for quick dining, drinks and relaxing spaces. The staff was terrific and friendly. Will return!
- 5/5
Excellent. I will be back.
- 3/5
Very dark, gloomy interior
- 5/5
I was a great stay but parking was a little hectic
- 5/5
Great staff and very well done property!!
- 5/5
Clean. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable. Great location. Fast check in. Quiet room.
- 5/5
Cleam room, staff was very nice and close to the hospital and restaurants
- 4/5
Good restaurants near by..close to hospital
- 5/5
fantastic place
- 4/5
Stayed here due to bringing the uncle to UNC for appointments.
- 5/5
Excellent stay for wedding
- 5/5
hotel is great. Modern, clean, quiet and staff was accommodating. It's a short drive to UNC and Franklyn Street. But it's quite secluded otherwise. There's nothing within walking distance, and just some boring buildings nearby.
- 3/5
The breakfast setup was bizarre to say the least and not worth the expense. Otherwise, a decent place to stay.
- 5/5
Huge room, great staff, they had a pool table and now we look for aloft hotels everywhere we go.
- 5/5
Excellent Hotel!
- 4/5
We will stay there again
- 5/5
Great location for a heels football game. Nice little bar too. Rooms are nice, clean and roomy. My college boys and girlfriend all came over to use the nice showers. It’s a home to Franklin street for most probably, but very walkable to campus and football game. It’s a go too for us…. The nearby restaurants are really really good so check them out too.
- 4/5
Solid hotel.
- 5/5
I stayed at a loft every time I bring my son to see a medical team member at UNC Chapel Hill. We love the rooms. The service is always exceptional. Also a loft is less than three minutes from Meadowmont Circle, which is where most of our providers are. We make this trip 2 to 3 times a month. The only thing I’m not pleased with are the pillows. These are in need of replacement for sure. Thank you always for such courteous staff and excellence service.!!
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet, but they were supposed to email my bill and i still didn't get it. I would have appreciated it if they took a moment to print it for me, also when all the parking spaces close to the hotel were taken the clerk sent me to park around to the other side where the other retail buildings were. I was advised to park in space that is marked "retail". I asked twice if that's going to be ok. I was told yes. In the morning I had a warning ticket for parking there. Thankfully they didn't tow it.
- 5/5
I’ve been traveling a lot the staff in this hotel is among one of the best I experienced.
- 4/5
Good hotel, but not walkable area
- 2/5
There was only 1 person at the front desk the entire stay who handled the entire hotel often making guests wait. The phone was never answered when we tried to call the reception desk. I asked for the room to be cleaned and was informed there was not enough staff to clean the room. The 3rd night I requested the room to be cleaned and it was not cleaned. I found a manager who had it cleaned.
- 3/5
Front desk attendant was indifferent at my arrival. Seemed almost annoyed to have to check me in. My wife was barked at by another guest's dogs upon entering the elevator.
- 5/5
Great location and quality hotel!
- 5/5
Great property, clean, best option at an amazing cost
- 5/5
Vibe
- 2/5
Staff apathetic. No smile, no service , just really didn’t care. For a big football game, no staff, bar closed because staff did not show up and no ice machines. Breakfast is not cool to order. It’s microwave to order. We have stayed at a number of Aloft hotels, & this one frankly was not good. No managers on duty. Really disappointed.
- 5/5
Great hotel.
- 5/5
Great rooms, clean, quiet, highly recommend
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
Great and helpful staff, but the location is noisy and the facility’s amenities are limited.
- 5/5
Very modern and stylish hotel with great walking proximity to upscale restaurants & shopping.
- 5/5
2 night stay because a family member is in UNC hospital. Super close to where I needed to be, clean, quiet and peaceful stay
- 5/5
Stay here every month!
- 3/5
Shane was helpful & friendly but other staff at the lobby made no eye contact or acknowledgment. The location is convenient & the property is clean.
- 5/5
This is my hotel of choice when in Chapel Hill.
- 4/5
Clean a lot of kids
- 4/5
Has similar designs as many other Aloft hotels but i do appreciate personalization with this one as they added elements of one of the major college teams locally in the area. Clean and quiet. Parking was fairly easy and at the front area however if the lot is full, you may have to park on a different area. It did feel relatively safe though for walking to and from your vehcile. Large vehicles (i was driving a ford 250 full size) can park also in the places but anything with a trailer or larger would have to park a bit further from the entrance. Overall the hotel was quiet and staff were amazing as always with the Aloft brand. Overall design and room was thier simple and sleep style. I would say there is a slight safety issue if someone spills liquid in the bathroom area as the flooring can be slick. A dedicated bath mat that can be washed or a thicker towel specific for the shower would be helpful in terms of stability whjle standing after one gets out of the shower.
- 4/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Love the special touches (wallpaper, layout, cushioned seat in the roll in shower, sound system).
- 5/5
Clean, room good bed, close to UNC. All things we were looking for
- 5/5
The service was amazing!
- 4/5
Comfy bed and linens. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was very clean. My only negative is that our room was right on the highway, and there was a lot of traffic noise. Would not recommend sleeping on that side of the building if you are a light sleeper.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, it was clean.
- 3/5
This visit was pleasant enough with a couple of exceptions. First, there was a smelly, overly full trash can at a public bus stop near the hotel when I arrived; this was atypical for the location. Second, there was an evacuation emergency on the morning of my check out.
- 5/5
WE only had1 bottle water two coffee bags and two little creamers. I asked front desk before we went up for the night for more. Lady said we would have to ask housekeeping. I thought she should have called housekeeping to fill the coffee tray. Tried to call on the phone but was no instructions how to call housekeeping.
- 1/5
Sheets had not been changed prior to me staying in the room
- 4/5
Our room was clean and quiet. The property conveniently located to all we needed to move my son in for school. I liked having a Fresh Market across the street and First Watch for breakfast nearby was a treat. Communication with staff wasn’t the best. I came back after a long day of moving and errands to find the room was not made up and there were no fresh towels. I called to inquire and was told they only service when requested, I considered that my request for the next day and was dismayed to find the room was not attended to the next day either. I can make my own bed but I truly enjoy having things freshened a bit. The hotel was busy and parking was hard to come by adjacent to the building, I ended up in the parking garage everyday, which is fairly close. There were multiple signs saying I needed a parking pass, I asked for one at the desk and was told I did not need one although I saw other cars with them, so I was always a little concerned that I would be ticketed or towed. The few times I asked a question at the desk I was left with the distinct feeling I was bothering the desk agent. Besides those minor inconveniences it was a fine stay.
- 5/5
Fantastic in a great location with in walking distance to shops and great restaurants
- 3/5
The hotel has construction going on that shut down one elevator which made for long wait times every time you used it. The next morning the complimentary coffee which there was none.
- 3/5
In addition, the hotel is undergoing construction. The marketplace was closed, so there were no food options, not even vending machine machines for drinks. I got carryout, but then there were no napkins or silverware in the room. I asked at the front desk, and it took her five minutes to run all the way around the hotel and go someplace to get plastic silverware. I feel bad for the employees! Could be a nice hotel, my room is nice and things are modern, in good condition and clean, but seems disorganized.
- 1/5
This time it was very different. It seems like the entire hotel was under construction with zero concessions or notice given to guests. No lobby, no food, no bar, no pool and no gym. Had to enter thru a dirty cockroach infested side service door in the pouring rain. I was put in the loudest (hearing impaired) room for no apparent reason. Internet and cable not working. Promise my daughter there would be a pool, packed swimsuits and booked this hotel over other options for that reason. Nothing to do on the property because literally everything was closed off. Planed on watching a movie.. no movie, no internet.. could not even get phone service. Honestly it was probably the worst hotel experience ever. They should issue a full refund!!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly we had a great time.
- 1/5
There was no hot water, so the following morning i checked out less than 9 hours after i checked in. The employees lied about the water, and some were even rude if not dissmisive.
- 5/5
Very clean and new. Staff were very nice
- 4/5
It was very quiet which is definitely a plus. The sink drained very slow, the reading light above my bed was out. I drop an article of clothing on the carpet and it got covered with lint. I guess vacuuming isnt a priority. I would return because it is quite
- 4/5
Cite vitro be brighter and more light
- 5/5
Clean, quick and easy check in.
- 4/5
Perfect location to hospital. Rooms are perfect for a quick stay. Free parking was a surprising perk! Great store plaza within walking distance.
- 5/5
Last minute trip and needed dog friendly. Third time at an aloft hotel and found everything to either meet or exceed expectations.
- 3/5
Room was not particularly clean and at check in at 1 am, there was no pillows
- 5/5
Love this place
- 4/5
Not enough parking available close by for individuals with mobility issues
- 5/5
Great hotel. Nice location. The staff in the morning was a bit lax and didn't have coffee cups available. I asked for some and he disappeared and never came back lol.
- 4/5
Arrivered to find the carpet wet from the ac. The desk canged our room promply
- 5/5
I drove down from Rhode Island, got to the hotel about 130 pm not realizing that check in was for 4pm! They accommodated me and allowed me to check in earlier. I am grateful for that as i was tired from the long drive!
- 5/5
Great as always.
- 5/5
Fantastic location and super friendly staff!
- 5/5
Always a place to rest easy and kind staff!
- 4/5
Parking terrible; everything else fantastic. Staff were especially patient and resourceful, especially in dealing with parking limitations. Room is comfy, trendy, and clean. Disabled folks, please be aware that all parking is limited and you may be asked to park in a secondary lot 0.2 miles away.
- 5/5
A good experience - staff was friendly and the facilities were well maintained. The hotel is convenient to the Chapel Hill area.
- 5/5
A nice, clean tucked away stay. Would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
They had NO HOT water!?!?!?!?
- 3/5
No hot water. Everything else was fine.
- 5/5
Convenient to UNC Chapel Hill with easy access and parking. Impeccably clean room, pleasant staff and safe and inviting area. I highly recommend.
- 1/5
Everything started off amazingly. We had a wonderful person check us in early, as we arrived before 12. It was great to be able to get into our room early and relax. The hotel is really fun and has wonderful touches, like pool with floaties and a pool table. So why did I end up giving this hotel a terrible? Well, the fire alarm went off at around 10:30am, we had to evacuate and stand in the rain thanks to the tropical storm for 2.5 hours. We were finally able to go back in at midnight just to have the fire alarm go off at 1:30am and 2am. So it was just terrible! No rest whatsoever. The fire alarm was malfunctioning. The worst part is there was no apology of any kind from any staff members for keeping us out in the rain for 2.5 hours.
- 2/5
Staff was terrible. Rude and never greeted guest. They spent more time on their cell phone vs. attending to guests.
- 5/5
Lovely clean and cozy property located within 10 min driving distance from downtown Chapel Hill. Staff is wonderful, especially bartender Malieah! We had so much fun, and she is so kind to host us after wedding guests at the hotel bar.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean room, love they don't use plastic bags to line the trash cans, in room coffee was good. A little noisy but overall very good.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
We love staying at this location. It is close to UNC and convenient to local restaurants.
- 5/5
Great hotel, not much in walking distance but very nice
- 5/5
Excellent stay!
- 3/5
It was good check in was easy. Issues arise
- 5/5
Great Location, clean, nice rooms, and great staff
- 3/5
Overall nice, but there is something all over the bathroom floor. It’s not something small that could easily be overlooked. It appears the bathroom and shower floors were not cleaned.
- 5/5
Loved the location
- 2/5
There is virtually no parking available on site. They have free parking in a parking deck next door, but it is very limited
- 3/5
1) No one at front desk for 15 minutes 2) Room dirty (wrappers on floor) 3) Morning coffee/tea - out of cups, hot water was cold, and less than half a cup left in the urn Location is good Building is nice
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed
- 4/5
Went to my room and someone was in it. Took a while but finally got a room. No explanation and front desk shrug
- 2/5
The room was smaller than expected but adequate and clean. The person checking us in was pleasant and professional but it was a bad look that we were waiting to check in and their was a second employee sitting behind the counter browsing on their phone. Maybe they weren't working check-in but never acknowledged us. The TV kept connecting and disconnecting to its wired connection and sometimes resulted in dropping our program off. There wasn't any coffee made in the afternoon although two employees were in the area. The second floor ice machine didn't work. The shampoo was empty in the shower. When I went to the 1st floor to get ice I was approached by an employee who rudely asked which room I was in. I didn't check-in on line because it showed $10 for parking even though the reservation said complimentary parking (there was no charge). I asked for a receipt at check-out and was told Expedia would send it then when I checked my bank there was an unexpected charge that was supposed to be a credit. The person from customer service was excellent in correcting it.
- 5/5

I love that Aloft is pet friendly, without being overly expensive 💜. Expedia advisor was very helpful too with my error I made on booking.

I loved the space. It was more modern, and the room design was cool. Also, the staff from the front desk (Shane) to the bartender (Mhelea) (I definitely spelled that wrong) Were so helpful and great to talk to!

The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The gym is well equipped. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. Easy walk / drive around. There is parking available outside and also a parking deck that is within walking distance.

Was disappointed in dining options for the evenings. Nearby restaurants close early.

The rooms were spacious and quiet. My issues with this property are: NO PARKING! Very limited space. I was told I could park in the underground garage, but as an older woman traveling alone, I was hesitant. Secondly, the public bathrooms and the elevators were very dimly lit. I couldn't see the buttons in the elevator to choose my floor.
