    I was extremely disappointed with my stay this weekend. The pool was closed due to construction, and the rooftop bar area shut down at 10 PM. With temperatures over 90 degrees and it being NBA Championship weekend, the amenities were the primary reason my wife and I chose this hotel. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, and we left very dissatisfied.

    Sooo... we got about 3 hours away from the Omni after our stay only to realize our wedding clothes got somehow pushed to the back of the closet in black wardrobe bags. We didn't see them when we did a final check. Tre at the front desk was amazing! He was so kind in the way he dealt with my panic. Was calm and patient with my multiple phone calls. And he was super helpful to explain how I could retrieve our items. He saved the day and the wedding! Thank you, Tre! We will stay at the Omni again should be pass through Charlotte again.

    As soon as we walked into the hotel we had the pleasure of meeting Clarissa (hoping I spelled it right) she was amazing and made sure we got everything we needed for our stay, her and the other ladies at the front desk and bar were amazing!!     Check in was fast and efficient. I pre-registered, made it easy. Bellman and valet parking were efficient and made it easy. Event was Crown of the Carolinas Ballroom competition. The whole event was great!

    What I loved about this place was the room and the location. The beds were so comfortable. Room was spacious with area for guests. The shower was hard to get out of because it felt so good. And if you want to have easy access to downtown Charlotte, it's right outside the door. Valet parking was expensive is my only complaint.

    The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and the room service and breakfast were good. The gym and access to several restaurants within the hotel were also a plus. The only downside was the pool was closed, which was unfortunate given the pleasant weather. Overall would definitely book a stay here in the future.

    I can’t say enough good things about the Omni hospitality team. Alex was friendly and helpful (valet). Debbie was so fun to talk to and the club 14 lounge was spotless with tasty food. Keisha was my room service attendant and she had fantastic suggestions for entertainment and the service was superb. Clarissa was the most welcoming and she answered questions about the hotel and made me feel right at home. I was impressed with the entire experience, I will be back.

    they said the pool was closed in 85° weather they said that it was seasonal I can understand if we’re in New York. I did not know of the pool closure and also being only seasonal cause I had young kids weren’t to enjoy the pool. I was on the rooftop.     A friend and I stayed here for one night for a Bruno Mars concert. Everyone from the valet guys, front desk, and Bartender were friendly and helpful. We had an executive suite with king bed and it was a huge corner room. Everything very clean and comfortable and I would 100% stay there again. Location was great and within walking distance of the Bank of America stadium. FYI Valet is $55/day.

    The Omni is usually extremely accommodating. Having booked through Expedia I used the filter for items I really wanted. One of them was a pool. While this Omni has two pools- the rooftop pool is closed for the season and the other one was under construction. This was not mentioned on the Expedia booking at all- when I mentioned it to the hotel - thinking maybe they would comp me a breakfast- or something- for my expectations were not met- they said they can't control 3rd party websites and that the pool construction was on their website. Bad on Expedia for not staying in tune with the availability of major amenities - and to Omni for having very little recourse.

    Everything was excellent from the location, the property and the kind staff! The only downfall which was significant was the loud rumbling motorcycles and cars on the street until 2:30-4:00 am. Even w ear plugs you could still hear to roaring of the engines ready to race! The front desk says the Police are aware but dont see it as an emergency…. Given tourists are spending lots of $$$s in the uptown area, I would think the Police would acknowledge that it is disturbing the peace. It’s too bad bc it is a really nice area that will affect the tourism….

    The beds were comfortable. I had room service breakfast both morning and it was amazing. I loved the coffee and the fact that there is a Walgreens downstairs The housekeepers kept trying to turn over my room before I checked out. The first time she walked in without announcing herself and said she thought the room was empty. Left- then I was about to shower and decided to lock the door and put something in front of the door and sure enough as I was getting into the shower a housekeeper tried to force their way in again. I was traveling alone and this made me feel unsafe. The tv is also out dated- there’s a note saying you can chrome cast but it doesn’t work so you’re just stuck with local channels.

    This was by far the loudest room I’ve ever been in. Hardly slept either night. Police sirens and motorcycles sound like they’re right outside your window. We were on the 10th floor, but it was still like being on street level. Would not stay again. A lot of the amenities are closed as well.

    The annoying: Parking is an additional $55 for cars and $65 for oversized vehicles and not included in your room cost. $200 hold on your card to check in. The pool is not open until May. The busker's music will flood through your room even on the 11th floor but they did shut it down at 10pm on Easter Sunday, but could present a challenge if you have small children or elderly. The amenities they have below the hotel: Chick fila closed on weekends, Starbucks is closed on Sunday. French frys from room service the grease tastes old. The really good: Fanstastic comfy beds, lots of different pillows so you can find the perfect fluff. Cotton robe and cotton sheets (not microfiber) Loved the tub depth in the deluxe room. It's very clean and the staff was very nice.

    Our stay was wonderful and the staff was amazing as well avle to accommodate my husband and I. The heater in our room was not working properly, called front desk, maintenance came within seconds and told us they woulf have to move us to another room and apologize. Everything was smoothly without hesitation. Thank you Omni for great customer service and well kept rooms. Also, just some ladies don't wear heels while on the escalator, both tabs came off my boots. It was my fault 😪 to the shoe shop I go.

    I had no heat in my room and the weather was in the 30’s. Engineering came out to reset the unit and it still did not warm up. I’ve stayed here a dozen times and this is the first time I feel robbed for the amount I paid to feel extremely uncomfortable

    The room was fine but the phone did not work correctly, the TV would not stop switching from channel to channel, the elevator had beer spilled inside of it, and the parking, food, etc were all an up charge. You’re forced to use valet or self parking that cost additional. There weren’t very many amenities at all. The bar was nice. The hotel staff received my complaints about the room and to my knowledge nothing was done as the problems persisted.

    The room was beautiful! I haven’t received my receipt through email yet which is one reason I’m giving it three stars. (Checked out yesterday) The other reason I’m giving it three stars is because they were using leaf blowers at 6:50 am on a Sunday morning outside the hotel! We were on the 11th floor and I had ear plugs in and it still woke me up. It was a lovely room but they could go the distance on customer relations.

    From the valet that handled our vehicle and all those that we came in contact with that works there, we could not have been more pleased. Courteous, caring and all pleasant. We really appreciate the service. The room was beautiful and we got to take advantage of the club 14 breakfast and happy hour. All very nicely done. We would definitely stay here again.

    This was by far the worst stay for the type of property. When I checked in; I was told I didn’t have a room. I was double charged and my credit/debit cards were both tied up. My sister had to move rooms because there was food on the frame of the bed. I would never recommend this hotel

    I received no communication about the pool being closed. Half the reason I booked this particular hotel. I go to their website - no red font. But underneath a block of tiny text that looks like TOS, they have a small line about it being closed. That's not oversight, that's intentional. Otherwise the hotel has great staff and seems clean. Although, the room rugs could use a steam clean. The location is ok as far as spots to visit go.

    Tiny room. Bathroom door would not stay open or closed unless it was locked. Toilet barely worked and required 5+ flushes after each use. No shower pressure. WiFi not included in 2025. Strobe light smoke detector. Extremely loud inside. I would never stay here again.

    Booking and checking in/out were a breeze! The room was beautiful and clean aside from a tiny stain on one of the pillows but I just didn’t use that one. There was a strange, inconsistent buzzing sound at night coming from my shower/bathroom. Other than that, a perfect experience. Gorgeous hotel, very hospitable staff, and super convenient both in location and amenities - in addition to food and bar, there was live music on the Wednesday we were there. It’s centrally located in the middle of uptown where there was so much to see and do. I did try their room service! Got the pimento grilled cheese with green tomato. I did not realize how SPICY it would be! Delicious flavor though!

    The EV charger turned out to be not owned or managed by the hotel, and access was first come, first served. We were told valet would park the car near the chargers, but that we’d have to handle the charging ourselves. While that wasn’t a huge inconvenience, the hotel should have made this clear on their website. It felt misleading. Even more frustrating was the pool being closed for renovations — something we weren’t told in advance. No notice, no warning, and no offer of compensation or alternative. In the middle of a hot August stay, this was incredibly disappointing. Again, had we known, we likely would have booked elsewhere. On the cleanliness front, the room was mostly fine, but we noticed chocolate stuck under the glass side table, and some hair in the carpet and bathroom. While hair happens, it’s not something I’d expect in a hotel of this caliber and price point. On a positive note, the hotel is centrally located, which made it convenient for walking around Uptown. Staff were polite and the atmosphere was otherwise pleasant. Overall, we might consider staying again — but only at a significantly lower rate and with more accurate information about what’s actually available.

    Our stay at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte was absolutely wonderful! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with such kindness and hospitality. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and so comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The only thing I’ll mention and it’s not the hotel’s fault at all. The area outside felt a little uneasy at night. I think that just comes with being in a bigger city like Charlotte. During the day everything felt great, and inside the hotel we always felt completely safe and cared for. All in all, I’d definitely recommend the Omni to anyone visiting Charlotte! It’s a gorgeous place to stay and such a great experience.

    smell that would come and go, but we stayed and hope that it would go away completely. However, the odor lingered and there’s another unpleasant odor coming from the vent. The hotel staff sprayed the vents and used an ozone machine while we were out for dinner on the 2nd night. But after coming back late, the smell was worse and began to bother my asthma. Since it was already late, we decided to leave in the morning before I get a full blown asthma attack. This is very disheartening, since this trip was meant to be a special anniversary weekend and it completely put a damper on our plans. Alrhough, I was given a refund on the one unused night, we asked for a refund for one of the night we stayed, But I was given the run around by the hotel and Expedia. It’s very frustrating the back and forth blame and very unprofessional customer service. This is by far the worst customer service experience we ever had.

    Service: terrible. Manager informed me that as per her records room was clean - without even sending anyone to check. In addition she said she was too busy checking in other guests. I felt for her, but I really don’t understand how that was my concern - basically she was demanding that her problem become my responsibility. Totally unfit to work in the hospitality industry.

    I chose the property for the pool and bar around the pool so that I could enjoy without having to travel away from the hotel. No one told me that the pool and bar area by the pool was closed and under construction. They attempted to upgrade the room to a corner room. The room was outdated and reminded me of the break room at work minus the bed. I child hear all of the street traffic noise clearly from the room (11th floor). I left immediately and requested a refund. I was not please especially since the room was $350 for 1 night.

    The property was amazing! I really enjoyed the utilities such as the gym. My boyfriend and I went everyday during our stay. The location was close to many different restaurants and bars we didn’t use our car much at all everything was within walking distance. The Valet service was impeccable Joe James really took care us with packing our car and getting it to us in a timely manner. We will definitely be staying here again. It was super clean, all the staff were friendly as well.

    There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom except on the door. When you flushed the toilet you could hear it out in the hallway. Very loud. No microwave in the room. The bed was nice and clean but need new mattresses.

    The staff were all helpful and responsive. We had a great experience with the valet and concierge. Unfortunately, the room - which is the pinnacle of most hotel experiences - didn't live up to the same expectations. The bathroom had visibly undergone several shoddy repairs. Broken tile in the shower, leftover mounting brackets from when the shower gel holder had previously fallen off, and misaligned pipe cover plates to name a few. The second night of our stay, the sink drain fully detached and leaked everywhere. Maintenance was quickly able to provide a temporary fix by taping the drain together, but it did dampen our experience. I would caution others that the price you pay to stay at the Omni is likely due to the convenience of the location, not necessarily for the quality of the room itself.

    My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The man that helped with our lounge when we arrived, he was a tall bald head man with glass was extremely friendly and informative. Sorry I forgot your name sir. Also Gabby the lady in Club 14 was extremely friendly every day we came to eat. We love the convince of our room being beside club 14. The place is very clean but it a little dated and the floors are warped. The rooms and property is a very nice getaway place to stay. Hopefully the next time we come the pool will be open. Looking forward to coming back.

    Pros -- Great bed -- super comfortable, slept well. Great A/C unit in room. Nice shower. Cons -- Pool closed in middle of summer. No in-room utensils for grab and go meals. Limited trash facilities. There is straight theft going on at the parking garage attached. Self-parking signs claim to be "$30 Max daily limit", but each day I was charged $60 per day. I paid $120 to park a car for 2 days in the garage. Another nickel-and-dime issue -- no wifi included as standard? They charge $15/day for wifi. I complained about these issues to the customer service and they comp'ed the Wifi and issued a $50 credit to bill for no pool availability. Area around hotel has gone bad, with vagrants, homeless, panhandlers.

    The hotel closed their pool for construction without notice on their website. It was the primary reason for choosing the hotel. Also, the hotel was very noisy and all we heard all night long was a loud thumping music. Around the bar area they cleaning crew was mopping the floors and completely blocked off the hallway from the front desk to parking garage with chairs so guests had to move chairs on their own to get their luggage through.

    Amazing stay at the Omni Charlotte. Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city with a Starbucks & Walgreens in the same building. The front desk was very accomdating andthe room service was quick & hot! Great stay!

    Super disappointed that the pool was closed “for the season” on June 7 - that was the only reason we booked it. Take the pool pics off the site if it isn’t open in June. Very misleading and if June is offseason when it was 90 degrees I don’t know what in season could be

    At check-in were advised room service and the bar were open until midnight - when I tried to order room service a little after 11, we were informed that they’d decided to close room service early. When we went downstairs to the lobby/bar area, a front desk staff asked us to not order anything from the bar. Overall, an extremely disappointing level of service for the price point and advertised amenities.

    During my stay the pool was closed, there was no working hot water, and the pm noise from the street, the rattling of the room from the train, and the pulsing music from the bar across the outdoor area was unbearable. Both nights I averaged 4-5 hrs of sleep. Also there was a fee to use the very well equipped gym in the hotel. This is my second mediocre stay with an Omni property . I don't believe I will ever stay in an Omni again

    The entire staff was outstanding. The guess the best impression was the valet, looked at my uber pick up time and mentioned he could do better with cost and pick up time. The cool thing about him was we chatted a few times and he is considered a friend in my book. With that said so we’re the front desk folks, friendly, nice and genuinely communicated as a friend. Super cool, safe and friendly! The Omni is a great place for me to stay.

    The pool is under maintenance and the staff is hit or miss. Some are absolutely excellent and some act like they are doing you a favor. Great location but an average hotel currently.

    Super friendly and detailed service as expected with Omni. It was wonderful the bar was open and serving food late since we needed to eat after a festival several nights. The cocktail and food offered at that hour were much better than expected. Super convenient hotel location. The only negative was the pool and outdoor bar being shut down for renovation. But amenity updates are necessary for a hotel to reflect their standards of service so I completely understand. We will book again.

    Stay was decent but wasn't what I was expecting. Not sure why but I was expecting luxury but it's comparable to IHG holiday inn. The pool and deck were closed and we were told one day in advance, wouldn't come down in price, sucks. But staying downtown made it easier to go places, charlotte is busy and the weekend we went was insanely busy so it was nice to go and have valet ($55/night) lol ! I hope they pay them well

    Very clean, lovely staff. Can be a bit loud at night because it’s in the middle of downtown but it’s a great location for exploring. Rooms are super spacious!

    The property was in a prime location and walking distance to shopping and dining. The hotel offers a nice bar for food and drinks. Our room was not ready and check in, so we waited 40 minutes to check in which made us late to our event. The room was okay but the bathroom toilet could have used some attention. The staff at check in were polite and nice just seemed desensitized to the guests rooms not being available at check in. Several staff mentioned we booked 3rd party on expedia as if it was an excuse as to why we could not check in on time. I'm not sure if there is revelance between the two or not. Valet parking was $48, there is a parking garage within a block that iffers $30 overnight parking. We did valet for the convenience but it seems like an unnecessary option. Overall it was an okay stay, but I will not book again unless it was the last option.

    We have stayed and many Omni resorts and this has been the worst! Outdated room and dirty, homeless in front of building everywhere. Staff came in to room without knocking , hair in food for breakfast. The only nice thing was the great gym!.

    Easy walk to Bank of America Stadium. Plenty of restaurant choices. The hotel was nice and clean. Room was cozy. The bar area was very crowded and the bartenders seemed overwhelmed so they weren’t the most attentive or friendly, but everyone deserves grace. Would definitely stay with Omni again.

    Most everything was really great except for the price of parking. We paid 60.00 to park in the Omni’s parking structure . Seems a little expensive to park .

    Common areas were highly maintained and looked great at all times and the hotel offered a number of dining and additional services, including valet parking and access to buildings throughout the downtown area and some shopping areas in on the bottom floor of the hotel. The rooms were nice, comfortable and well maintained.
