Staff, was excellent!
- 5/5
The cutest hotel in the best location.
- 5/5
Nice room and lovey scenery close by to everything in walking distance to all
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff!
- 5/5
Such a beautiful hotel! Great decor. Great location. Beautiful attention to detail.
- 4/5
Unique experience, surrounded by classic trains. The Frothey Monkey restaurant was excellent. Located in the Station. Malcolm our server was so incredibly friendly.
- 5/5
The experience of staying in a travel car from the old days was terrific. The staff, especially Ainsley when we checked in, were courteous, helpful d professional. Would also recommend dining @ Elsie’s Daughter…outstanding. And two happy hours. 😊
- 5/5
The room was unique and beautiful.
- 5/5
Such a cool spot and the rooms were gorgeous!
- 5/5
Such a fun, historic stay!! We swam in the pool, ate at the restaurant and enjoyed live music in the courtyard. Dog friendly. Beautiful tile work in the roosts. Comfy bed and great shower. We will be back!
- 5/5
The Hotel Chalet was a charming escape! The bathroom was beautiful and the showers water pressure was incredible.
- 4/5
We really enjoyed our stay. The place is unique, creative, clean and relaxing. The staff exceeded our expectations. Makita at the front desk was exceptional to us because she is also a student at UTC, offering us great information about the school and area. The only issue we had was the fire alarm going off daily because there is no exhaust in the bathroom. Maintenance came quickly but perhaps an exhaust system can be a way to prevent this in the future. The pool, restaurant and facility is absolutely amazing and we will definitely stay there again!
- 5/5
Beautiful clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free trolley in front of hotel. Convenient! We will be back
- 4/5
Woke up early morning to a dripping sound (never figured out where it was coming from) And then the doors shut very loud. The doors in the building are heavy and loud when they close. Other than that nice stay
- 5/5
Very charming hotel in the historic district. It's very exciting to see the neighborhood being revitalized, with great options for dining and breakfast nearby. I'll certainly go back!

- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
We only stayed one night in one of the train cars. It was a nice experience but it is tough to rate being there only for a couple hours. The beds and sheets were nice, but could not get the TV to stream anything using their system so that was a bummer.
- 4/5
We didn't care for the restaurant that is attached to the hotel, but the prices were high and there weren't many food or drink options on the menu. There are a few other bars/restaurants close by so don't bother eating there.
- 5/5
An elegant and fun hotel! We stayed in the boxcar rooms and loved the experience. We wish we could have stayed more than one night and plan to return for a longer stay soon.
- 4/5
The hotel was good, but not exceptional! We had stayed there several years ago and couldn’t have asked for a better visit. We were a bit disappointed this stay. The room was just okay for the price we paid and our dinner was okay as well! The Sunday brunch was outstanding!
- 4/5
Unique place with good location.
- 5/5
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It truly felt like the epitome of Southern hospitality. I came for a triathlon and just wanted a place to sleep. It was soooo much better than that!! I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little special and memorable.
- 5/5
Great location in hipster part of town. Plenty of amenities and great restaurants, bars and areas to spend time! Traveling with my wife, had a great time!
- 5/5
Other than paying for parking overall experience was terrific. Thoroughly enjoyed this unique property! Would (will) definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Heads up for the $20 a day parking fee😤
- 5/5
Just love the whole train car concept and the location was great for food walking, ice cream, entertainment and just laung out on a blanket in common area listening to the band
- 5/5
Parking was easy and cheap. The front desk staff was friendly and very informative. The aesthetic of the entire hotel was on point. The lobby, hallways and room were exceptionally clean for my standards. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We stayed during the week so the environment was quiet and laid back. The fitness center was very up to date and clean. The pool area was very nice even though it rained most of our trip. The courtyard area was adorable although we didn’t utilize it. We had our young child with us and didn’t get to take advantage of the restaurant on site but the menu and ambience looked amazing. There was also several nice turfed areas for our little one to run around and play, one with hammocks. We did stay in a double room and not a train room due to this being a last minute trip but the husband and I are planning on returning for an adults trip. We ate at several restaurants around the hotel within walking distance and took advantage of some of the fun things around the hotel area within walking distance.
- 4/5
Great stay! We made the best of it though we thought we reserved a train car via Expedia. We were told by hotel staff that is a problem with third party like Expedia, Price Line, and others. I recommend calling the property to ensure your reservation. Regardless, our chalet room was wonderful. I love the small details they include. Very cool vibe and we loved the pool. We’re already planning to return and will reserve via the hotel directly next time.
- 5/5
Great overall stay. Very unique hotel. Clean rooms and good service.
- 5/5
Gorgeous room, classy, romantic atmosphere. Would definitely stay again, staff were helpful and welcoming. Comfy bed and pillows that felt very luxurious. Love the artwork and interior decor!
- 5/5
This hotel was a gem. It's located next to the Choo Choo entertainment district which has many restaurants, bars and a comedy club. The hotel is charming with even the ability to stay in a renovated rail car if you wish. Our room was on the 1st floor so we had a little patio outside our room. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, especially if attending a show at the signal!
- 5/5
My favorite hotel! Always have such a nice, relaxing time here. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, great amenities, friendly staff. This will always be my first choice when I come to town.
- 5/5
I would stay at this hotel again in a second. The rooms were clean; the staff was just incredible and so helpful. Loved the bar options at night, having a drink before heading to bed. Great location for walking to the sights!
- 5/5
Great place to stay and enjoy downtown.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! Hotel and train cars are unlike anywhere we have stayed. Super cute vibe.
- 5/5
We finally were able to get a reservation for a train car … what a great experience. We have stayed in a room in the past but the train car is quite the experience. All the staff is top notch. We have to give the Conceirge Dian a 10+ for making our stay extra ordinary. Every thing we needed was taken care of. We will return often and I am sure be guaranteed a great stay. The Hotel Chalet is a highly recommended place to stay.
- 5/5
So adorable Nothing
- 5/5
Very cozy and clean
- 1/5
Between the first train car suite and the second, neither looked like the photos and both were in very poor repair. The first had a sunken bed that weighed as much as a collapsed star, dirty couch, bulging ceiling, and musty air. The second had a broken AC system and similarly dingy floor to ceiling. We ultimately moved into the main building at midnight, well after our patience had evaporated and hopes for a magical train stay had departed. Luckily the front desk was helpful in swapping and ultimately refunding.
- 5/5
The train cars are beautiful with a mid century design so unique and welcoming N/A
- 5/5
This is an interesting clean and very nice property
- 5/5
We love staying here! It’s beautiful and so fun!
- 5/5
We stayed in a train car and it was the coolest place we’ve stayed in a long time. It was secured very well. There was no movement with the car. It was quiet. We’ve tried to stay here before but it’s always booked up. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Everything is marked really well too. IF you know how to read platform signs, you will have no trouble finding your car. We arrived at 2:51 and check in was at 3. The lady that was working the desk said it would be about 10 more minutes and they would text us. At 3:21 we went back to the desk and what do you know? Our room was ready and it was a different guy working. No text message sent. So shift change must be tricky here.
- 5/5
Property itself is so unique. I love staying in the train car. The restaurant is amazing. And nearby live music and tour of the train station.
- 4.5/5
We really enjoyed the antique charm of it. The bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect anything you need is in walking distance and the staff was so friendly. Only complaint was the shower head, but I could live with it.
- 4/5
A fun and unique experience.
- 5/5
Lovely place with attention to detail. Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Rooms were so cute and very convenient to everything.
- 5/5
Amazing unique and quiet. Brings you back in time.
- 5/5
My one complaint was I used Trivago/ Expedia for booking and the rate was quoted as all Taxes and Fees included!! Upon arrival I learned I had to pay $80 dollars in parking fees. I was not happy about that! The young Lady at check in said she would try and help with that and did not. There was plenty of vacant parking available and I feel ripped off. I would like to stay at the property again but will have to take that under consideration
- 2.5/5
The staff seem to be cold and unhelpful.
- 4.5/5
The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo was such a fun and memorable experience. The property has a unique atmosphere that blends historic charm with modern comfort beautifully. The upgraded train car rooms were incredibly creative and made the stay feel special instead of just another hotel night. Everything felt thoughtfully designed, cozy, and welcoming. The staff truly stood out during our stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome from check in to departure. Even though our stay was short, they made it meaningful and relaxing. The location was also perfect for exploring Chattanooga. We only had a short amount of time in the city, but this hotel made us want to come back and stay longer. Honestly, the only downside was not having enough time to fully enjoy both the hotel and Chattanooga itself. One night did not feel like enough. Parking and navigating the area can be a little busy depending on arrival time, but overall it was a wonderful experience.
- 5/5
EVERYTHING FROM STAFF TO TRAIN CAR AND IN BETWEEN Showers are AMAZING 1) pressure was the best I have ever experienced. 2) the handle was at the end where you enter the shower which is now a goal for future shower design in new home! The bed was decent, not too soft not too firm. AC unit was a bit tricky at first to adjust but once figured out it was ice box galore. Windows were so cool. Wished the shades were separated more than one panel on one side and two along the other. Bathroom was good size for two people. Shelf’s along the top of the windows were perfect to set small items on Grounds around the area was very cool to walk around. A great deal of historical value within everything The train station was amazing Evenings were so nice as we could hear live music just around the corner Door dash knows how to find the place so easy to have a meal without leaving the car unless you want to. Pool area is very nice! Wished there could have been a small microwave hidden in the car for convenience but it would have taken away from the theme so no real negatives on this one. Coffee bar at a cost which was disappointing, pastries as well. Good quality just surprised there was not a complimentary pastry and drip coffee for guests. Ice buckets must be obtained at the front desk and unless you ask you won’t know this is the deal Staff loved our little dog Nugget and he loved them!
- 4.5/5
It's a cute hotel designed around a railroad theme with a historic train station nearby.
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 4/5
The stay was good. Only complaint was the room was so dark. I am 67 and I had trouble being able to see.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay and location
- 5/5
Lovely stay!!!
- 5/5
Loved our stay can’t wait to come back!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The vibe is so fun and carried out throughout the property. There are so many spots to hang out and relax. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Staff were so friendly, lived the area and the vibe
- 5/5
Chattanooga is a fun get away from Atlanta and just around the corner. Sleep here. Train cars for ambience.
- 5/5
The room was clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night and didn't get to enjoy it very long. Highly recommend this hotel. Also a great location.
- 5/5
Clean and super cute! None
- 5/5
Everything was top notch and we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
I guess the walls are very thin and someone next to me kept their TV on all night and I was unable to sleep. the patio should be swept and cleaned before a guest. The carpet needs to be cleaned. Jennifer, the front desk lady was super nice and friendly and helpful. The pool and outside sitting area was nice, but why not keep up your grounds better? Keep all the plants up and create a sanctuary around the property. wouldn't take much! Just needs more attention and care to upgrade the experience of the guest to the next level.
- 5/5
Best hotel I have everyone stayed at. I will return
- 5/5
This was a lovely property. The onsite restaurant was wonderful.
- 4/5
Great property and people. Only downside was how thin the walls were.
- 5/5
The staff were super helpful & friendly and went out of their way to assist.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay and see the Chattanooga Choo Choo train and I enjoyed staying in a converted train carriage. Do visit the aquarium and there’s a free bus not far away for that. Delicious meals at hotel’s Elsie’s Daughter restaurant and lovely people running the hotel. 🚂⭐️
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The cutest hotel I’ve ever been to 10/10 will be returning.
- 5/5
Wish we would have stayed more nights here. Very relaxing.
- 4.5/5
Staff were welcoming and went the extra mile to make our stay lovely.
- 5/5
Only negative was parking gets full quickly and has a $20 permit fee and is not valet parking
- 1/5
We paid EXTRA for a train car room and got a regular room in the hotel. So angry! Will not stay here again AND will probably never use Expedia again!! Third party bookings suck! We were ripped off! The regular room we stayed in was only $200 if booked through the hotel, but Expedia charged us almost $300!! I am livid!!!
- 4/5
Location fantastic! Rooms were great as well. Offer room service.
- 4.5/5
Our room was not clean well and often cleaned very late in the day
- 5/5
The front desk staff was very nice and friendly and helpful.

- 4/5
Parking was good. Exit doors were very noisy adjacent to our room. Room was very good except toilet seat was extremely loose.
- 5/5
Near one night stay. Loved staying in the train car.
- 5/5
Unique experience. Limited storage.
- 5/5
What a gem! We stayed in one of the refashioned train cars and it felt like we had been transported in time to a private car from the 1940s. The bed was comfy, the decorating tasteful and accurate. The location was also great - close to restaurants and bars. Staff super friendly. Pool was relaxing to sit at- outdoors, even in February! We will definitely be back1 Nothing. Just wish we could have stayed longer!
- 4.5/5
The train car was spacious and beautifully appointed. Walking distance to lots of bars, restaurants and music venues.
- 5/5
All was great. No problem at all
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
This is my second year in a row staying at this beautiful, historic hotel. I love the area and easy walk to many local restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant, Elsie's Daughter is so original. Like no hotel restaurant I've ever experienced. Look forward to seeing the Choo Choo again in 2027!!!

From check in , where Maddie sorted out not just our room but taxi and evening out, to the advice from the wonderful Dian regarding restaurants in the North Shore, we could not fault any of the staff. They were fabulous. Location is great in the historic district, close to bars and restaurants / really liked Second and Nic and Normans. Plus the room was large, everything is spotless and the pool area was relaxing. We had 3 fabulous days.
- 5/5
easy parking, great location
- 4/5
Great location. The hotel could use some maintenance and cleaning.
- 5/5
Unbelievably beautiful hotel. With charm and character. Convenient to so many restaurants and the comedy catch.
- 5/5
Absolutely the best showers I’ve ever had at a hotel. The lobby is stunning, the staff is friendly, and the location is amazing. We had dinner and drinks at Elsie‘s Daughter’s patio. Food was excellent, service wonderful and the band, LVNDR, incredible. I highly recommend a stay at this perfect boutique hotel.
- 4/5
My only minor complaints were they didn't have ice available for the room and paid parking that was also taxed. We loved sleeping in an actual train car. We slept to sounds of a train on my cellphone. We will probably be back regardless.
- 5/5
The area around the hotel is interesting with shops and restaurants. The restaurant next door, Elsie’s daughter had great food.
- 3/5
Weird place. Interesting but definitely weird. Very dark. Think 1970’s Brady Bunch meets 1890’s brothel.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful especially Ainsley at the Challet! Breakfast coffee bar and sweet rolls conveniently available in lobby. Room clean and stylish in decor. Paid parking close to lobby entrance.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and the hotel was really cool and in a great part of town.
- 5/5
Close to Aquarium, clean, quiet, & comfortable.
- 5/5
Great, fun property. Nice location and the theming was excellent. Would definitely come back

This is the prefect stay to plan your vacation to Chattanooga. Very unique experience to stay in the train cars and so close to everything.
- 5/5
Everything perfect , great atmosphere,
- 4/5
The room was clean, the bed was good.
- 5/5
Wonderful facility
- 4/5
Very nice and old fashioned clean room with easy access to all the restaurants and shopping downtown
- 5/5
Everything in the hotel is high quality. Friendly from desk.
- 3/5
The property is charming, nicely updated. Our rooms were clean, with exception on the outdoor patio which had a cup remnants from someone else’s stay. The only major issue was the bar car and fire pit area never opened. We sat out poolside which was supposed to be open until 10, however at 9:20 without warning or a word an attended came and locked the gates we were forced to to walk at night around a city block to get back to the front entry.
- 5/5
Our stay was excellent. We were in a deluxe sleeper and it was such a unique experience. The staff is extremely friendly and the train sleeper was very clean. The neighborhood is fun and plenty to do within walking distance.
- 5/5
The staff was great. Very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept. This hotel had a historic feel with modern convenience's. Close to downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The hotel is nice, great restaurant. Only complaint is that allowing pets might mean there is a barking dog next door
- 5/5
Everything was just great!
- 5/5
Various places within walking distance Comfortable beds
- 5/5
This hotel is beautiful and is located close to downtown, lots of restaurants, and local attractions. The staff is very accommodating, warm, and helpful. We ate at the restaurant on site as well and the food was delicious. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
The decor waa very cute! The room was clean and comfrtable. There was a table in the room and a patio! Very comfortable.
- 3/5
No breakfast, Broken shower
- 5/5
It was a great stay. Extremely cute hotel.
- 5/5
This hotel is adorable! Convenient to lots of places, quiet, clean, easy check in. Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Hotel Chalet is my favourite place. Excellent staff. Excellent service. Such a beautiful place to stay and visit.
- 5/5
Everone and everything was great
- 4/5
Overall we had a decent stay. The AC in our train car was broken so we got moved to another. It was a little stressful after a long day of travel & we were really tired. On our second night, there was an event that was a bit loud and when cleaning up with carts & stuff. Could also hear other guests talking in their room through the train wall.
- 5/5
Loved theHotelChalet! We will be back.
- 5/5
Quiet rooms!
- 5/5
Easy parking. Comfy big room.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
The location was perfect, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful with questions!
- 5/5
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Staf is so friendly and welcoming. Second time we stayed there. We definitely go back!!
- 4/5
Free coffee should be available in AM Very helpful staff Bathroom needs more towel bars/hooks Love room/spacious & loved the corner nice bench/table & ability to open sliding door for fresh air Limited snacks available to buy
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
After frequenting the Chalet for many years I feel it has lost some of its special atmosphere that it once had 6 years ago. I miss the tranquil pool experience it seems to have become a children's environment with no boundaries as far as Adult hours where kids are not allowed and I miss the flowers and attention to detail and the service like the pool attendant et
- 5/5
Beautiful room, first floor has a nice patio, entertainment, pool and much more
- 5/5
Breakfast was superb! Easy parking, and the staff was very pleasant. Wish i could stay longer
- 5/5
The staff was friendly but it seems the way this hotel is advertised, there is not distinction with the rooms being apart of the hotel and the ones that are in the train. Booking this room i assumed it was the train not a regular hotel room.
- 5/5
It was a memorable stay for our family and know the kids will remember our visit many years from now. Thank you for providing us with a fantastic visit!
- 5/5
My only small wish would be that the cafe wasn't so expensive.
- 5/5
Unique experience, perfect for a family with little ones, but still cool and enjoyable
- 5/5
We had a great time at the Chalet. Staff were incredibly kind, the vibe was so cute and it was walkable to everything we wanted to see.
- 5/5
Updated hotel with a great design. Pool was not heated, but was used anyway. Helpful and accommodating staff- the train cars were a fun twist!
- 5/5
Very quaint hotel. We'll definitely go back.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this place! Book it you will be glad you did! Love the history behind the Choo Choo hotel. The art deco theme room was like stepping back into another time. Enjoyed some time by the pool, and stopped in the restaurant for a to go dessert. Within walking distance to a bunch of great places to eat! Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
- 5/5
The room was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful!
- 5/5
Parking was very easy
- 4/5
The decor and vibe is a vintage train car. Room was spacious and clean. Can walk to restaurants/bars that are in the actual train station. It was different from the run of the mill hotels.
- 5/5
It was quite clean and safe.
- 5/5
Had a great stay on the way home from Florida. Best sleep ever in comfortable quiet room. Great atmosphere. Shout out to staff member Annalise who went above & beyond to make our stay fantastic.
- 5/5
Awesome place… fun options to eat around the corner as well as hotel! Staff awesome
- 5/5
We booked this at the last minute and couldn’t have picked a more charming hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. We also had dinner at Elsie’s Daughter, and both the food and the atmosphere were fantastic. We’ll definitely be back when we can stay a little longer. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
20.00 parking , 4.00 muffins for breakfast and 2.00 coffee , room was nostalgic and clean staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
clean room
- 5/5
Large, clean room. Walkable to shops, restaurant and Chattanooga attractions.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, and great bar The Elsie
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, cool rooms and very friendly staff
- 5/5
We stayed in a train car. It was amazing! The room was nice and clean. The bathroom had heated floors. The bed was so comfy. We ate breakfast at the coffee bar. The coffee was on point and the food was excellent. Parking is close. There are restaurants and businesses in walking distance. We will stay here again.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and wonderful coffee!
- 5/5
Very enjoyable
- 4/5
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, there are no ice machines in the hotel and the hotel restaurant service wasn't that great. It took a long time to get our food. One of the our orders didn't get to the table til everyone else at the table was finished eating!
- 5/5
Very convenient location!
- 5/5
Very cool aesthetic
- 5/5
The cutest boutique hotel in the area. My room was clean and so cute! The staff was super friendly and the restaurant linked to it was delicious
- 5/5
Loved this hotel!! Stunning and unique stay and great location. Staff was so friendly and we lovef that we could bring our pups!!
- 5/5
Quaint hotel in a great location. Lots to do within walking distance. Best shower (water pressure) in a hotel.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful space. Very central to activities and dining. The property was a 10 out of 10 for us!
- 5/5
My husband I loved that we were so close to everything and yet it was easy to get in and out with easy parking. The hotel was beautiful, rooms were spacious, and the shower was so nice. Highly recommend!

- 5/5
It was the perfect room.
- 5/5
Great location, clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
Room was very clean and I own a cleaning business so I’m picky. Staff very be polite and check out is at noon which for me is nice
- 5/5
We loved the style and attention to detail. Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and stylish as was the lobby. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. We can't stop telling our friends about it! We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Great location next to the concert venue. Clean, spacious, and quiet.
- 5/5
The decor in the room was interesting and nostalgic. The staff was friendly, even offering us an umbrella to borrow as we walked to eat breakfast after I forgot to grab the a complementary umbrella in the closet in the room.
- 5/5
Room were nice and clean
- 5/5
We had a ball. Great staff. Great room. There was plenty to do and the atmosphere was fantastic
- 5/5
We had a great stay at The Hotel Chalet in one of the train car rooms. It was really cool and I highly recommend - reminded me of how it must have felt to be riding across the British Empire in a dedicated train car. Everything was also very clean and in good order.
- 4/5
Great location! Walkable to Chattanooga's main food and entertainment district. Hotel itself is modest but adequate. Surface lot parking is an additional $20/day. Rooms are large and comfortable. Only suggestion is to put more resources into housekeeping, especially in the bathrooms.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The room was very clean and reminded us of the 20s. The bed was super comfortable too.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
What a wonderful stay! The hotel was gorgeous. The gentleman that checked is went above and beyond. The room was so chic with the aesthetics. So many restaurants and bars all around. Can't wait to return!
- 5/5
I would 100% stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff was the best I've ever had in my 45 years of traveling
- 5/5
The staff was polite and professional. Tre at the front desk was great checking us in and helpful with recommendations about the area. Sam the manger also was very attentive and kind to our needs. Beautiful decor with comfortable lounging areas and great beddings. Perfect location for walking to restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 4/5
Room was clean. The heater and some of the outlets not working. Staff very friendly. I have stayed in hotels all over the USA and Europe - first time I had to pay for coffee in the lobby.
- 5/5
Great Stay. Friendly Staff.
- 5/5
Great quick overnight stay-check-in gentleman was pleasant and helpful and used effective and thorough communication. Great comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere.
- 5/5
Great staff, love the room. Close to everything downtown.
- 5/5
Amazing place l! Can’t recommend it enough, so charming, super clean, gorgeous decor, lovely staff, excellent location and can’t wait to return.
- 5/5
Amazing!

The staff was beyond helpful. They would volunteer to help with things.
- 1/5
Not impressed
- 5/5
Our room needed a little touch up maintenance. Staff and amenities were above par. The Concierge (Dian) was incredible she went above and beyond making sure our stay was perfect. It was a 39th wedding anniversary to remember.
- 5/5
Hotel was superb!! The hotel was beautiful and so were the rooms. By far my favorite stay in Chattanooga. Will become our new place to stay when we are in town. Staff was great and friendly.
- 5/5
Rooms were spotless and mid century perfection. Left searching the internet for places to buy the hotel Shower gel. It was so luxurious. Never stayed anywhere that there was nothing that could be improved upon.
- 5/5
It was great in every way.
- 5/5
They did an excellent job with a total remodel. Enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5

Everything was great, Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room, amazing atmosphere, staff was amazing and location was perfect! It was such a fun experience. Beautiful hotel
- 5/5
Perfect stay!! The staff were so considerate and kind.
- 5/5
The only negative was the pull out bed in the suite. It would not have met our needs. Easily, quickly, and happily, rectified by renting a second room at a great price. We will definitely return!
- 5/5
Staff was great, and the room was lovely!
- 3/5
Place was beautiful but they didn't give us our complimentary drink and they changed $75 up-front that i have yet to get back a month later
- 5/5
Such a unique place. The staff was so kind. The restaurant was amazing.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms

We definably we stay again. The room was not only beautiful but also impeccably clean, with fresh linens and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing friendly service and prompt assistance whenever needed. Their attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Without a doubt, we will definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Will be going back for sure. Cold weather hampered some adventures…Great location Just a tip Elsie’s Daughter hotels restaurant requires reservations!

The staff was extremely friendly and the room was so nice and clean. We love the decor.

The train car was a unique experience and had great amenities.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Excellent location and Excellent rooms
- 4/5
The atmosphere was great and so was the staff
- 5/5
Check in was smooth. The room was ready when we arrived. The room decor is beautiful. Staff have been helpful. I lost my room key at a restaurant and the next day my son locked us out of the room, but the staff didn't seem annoyed amd replaced the keys
- 5/5
Great staff and a beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful room. The smallest details are not overlooked. They offer you robes to wear, have shower caps, and makeup remover wipes. The furnishings look like they are out of the 1940s. Plenty of places to eat. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
The train car was so cool. It was beautifully designed and decorated. The bathroom was very spacious. The heated floors were unexpected but a lovely touch, especially at night and early in the morning. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Rooms were beautiful! Very comfortable beds. Very clean.
- 5/5
Clean wonderful rooms...comfortable beds and friendly staff
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Very nice decor- feels like you are in an old train car! Sweet romantic get away.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice especially Trey who checked us in.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff are very professional and helpful, the rooms are very clean and the bed was excellent slept like a baby.

Loved it. Beautiful, clean, a step back in time.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with so many things to do within walking distance!
- 5/5
The train car room was
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice, the room is very confortable and stylish
- 5/5
Very friendly staff! Clean rooms as well!
- 4/5
Added on a parking fee without notifying us! Not happy.
- 5/5
Cleanliness and aesthetic, friendly front staff
- 5/5
Quick check in, neat hotel, clean rooms.
- 5/5
Cool area.nice hotel. A lot to do here. Good food, bars and comedy club all in same walkable area.
- 5/5
Great stay! Very clean and everything is walking distance . Will be back!
- 5/5
Front desk at night was friendly. The rooms were awesome
- 5/5
Very nice experience staying in a train car. Very clean, great bathroom, comfortable bed, several extra amenities like an umbrella. Font desk was friendly and accommodating. Liked that the fridge actually gets cold & has a freezer that works. Very quiet & dark. Dark was wonderful for sleeping but not really enough light for makeup. Only negatives were no place to really put your luggage and no drawers of any kind but for one night not a big deal. Also, plan to bring chargers & extension cords as there are no charging ports but we were prepared so not a problem for us.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel, the room was great and the robes were an extra touch but the hidden parking fee wasn’t so nice.
- 5/5
I loved staying in train car room!
- 5/5
Such a pretty hotel - love the location and choices of food and beverage
- 5/5
The Hotel is beautiful. The rooms were in excellent condition and the beds were so comfortable. They have the best hotel shower I’ve ever used. The stay was superb.
- 5/5
What a great hotel! Great location. Loved our room’s decor and generous size. And the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. We’d for sure stay here again if we’re ever back in Chattanooga.
- 5/5
I adored the restaurant which was smallish and calming. Oysters on the half shell and burgers were to die for. Cocktails were fabulous. Our first encounter with the staff was Kay who treated us like family. She’s a special employee. We did not stay in the train cars but I would love to our next visit. I took many many photos of them. What a unique vision to turn these cars into sleeping accommodations. We will be back soon.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with so many places to visit around the hotel!
- 5/5
Nice clean and spacious room
- 4/5
Location was the draw. Great stay!
- 5/5
All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were amazingly nice. Went to a concert at the signal and super convenient location
- 5/5
The room was clean and beautiful.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
Concert at the nearby venue was loud until midnight.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again , can walk to alot of restaurants and the signal was right across the street
- 5/5
Wonderful room. Hotel has a lot of character. Will be staying here again.
- 5/5
Great second stay this year. Will be back.
- 5/5
Very attentive staff. Rooms are excellent value and historical location adds to the chic ambiance..
- 5/5
The hotel is very cool and seriously comfortable. Well-designed with high end touches and luxury bedding, and friendly staff on top of everything. Best choice in downtown Chattanooga area by far.
- 3/5
We also had an issue with parking. There was a wedding in the ballroom our second night so there were no parking spaces in the hotel lot. We were shocked when the deskclerk told us "well then you'll have to pay to park in the garage" - nearly a block away. That wasn't going to happen but finally a wedding guest left and we were able to get 1 space. Don't know about the next people. Room was clean and quiet and staying at the Choo Choo with restaurants, bars, and shops is nice but not sure I would do it again
- 3/5
It wasn’t quite as glamorous as I had imagined. The train car room was unique and quaint but not highly modernized
- 5/5
The Choo Choo Chalet is wonderful! Beautiful, comfortable, clean. Worth every penny!
- 5/5
Completely gorgeous and innately charming in every way. This kinda of character-laden property with amazing restaurants, kid friendly spaces, beautiful furnishings etc…is my dream come true.
- 5/5
Awesome stay. Staff very helpful and professional.
- 5/5
Clean, very roomy, comfortable bed and linens. However, the lightening was VERY dim. I realize that it was part of the ambience, but I really couldn’t see very well at all.
- 5/5
Love the decor. All of the staff were cordial and helpful.
- 5/5
Overall our stay was great. We were a bit disappointed when we couldn't get a drink later in the evening due to a water problem at the bar in Elsie's Daughter, but that was just a coincidental event. One of the lights to the left of the TV flickered in our room when it was adjusted to full power, but it stopped if we turned it down a bit.
- 5/5
Iconic stay, I slept like a baby their ac was piping cold, I enjoyed my stay and plus restaurants was quite close to walk too.
- 5/5
Lovely accommodations!
- 5/5
Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very friendly and professional staff
- 4/5
Great renovation. Easy walkable to restaurants….the area has been revamped.
- 5/5
Great location with convenient parking and really comfortable beds and robes.
- 5/5
this was our first stay in Chattanooga; we'll be back. Didn't realize there were so many things to see and do. I didn't get the young mens names when we checked in and out, but they were very friendly, kind, and informative. Just wish the elevator was a bit bigger for the luggage cart. tight squeeze, but we did enjoy our stay
- 5/5
We always wanted the experience of sleeping on a train. The train sleeper cares were unique and special.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, excellent shower, friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Very nice. Has a vintage feel to the hotel and rooms. Great location
- 5/5
The nostalgic Chattanooga Choo-Choo train display and train car suites added to the experience. Loved the facility upkeep and bathroom design detail (and cleanliness) were top-notch. They have a helpful, friendly staff too. I also recommend the local restaurants and bars 👍👍
- 4/5
This is a unique property as it's located in the middle of the general "train station" area. We enjoyed the history of the area and the variety of places to eat within walking distance. Also took advantage of the free electric shuttle to the aquarium area. Notes: We would really have appreciated a location on-site for real breakfast (the coffee area only had pastry). Also our room had a slight moldy smell (perhaps the AC needs to be cleaned) and it was quite dark (bedside lights were too dim to read and we're only 60). Finally, not enough parking -we returned late two of the nights and had to wait for someone to leave so we could park. REALLY enjoyed the outdoor seating by the caboose and loved the young woman playing guitar one night under the stars and lights. We would return if we're able to snag a discounted room.
- 5/5
Great Boutique hotel with excellent staff and the location was perfect for walking to dinner with many dining options.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and parking was easy
- 5/5
We loved everything, from the decor to the amenities. Easy to walk to anything you would need and want.
- 5/5
Loved everything about this hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Within walking distance to many activities as well as food choices. Definitely feels like a luxury hotel.
- 5/5
We were in a suite for a girls weekend. It was spacious and stocked full of premium liquors. Beautiful view of the courtyard where you could see the train station and depot. Pool is awesome because it is heated here around 80°. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Several fabulous restaurants right around the property. All walkable.
- 5/5
So much to do in the area, no matter what your reason is for visiting. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re looking for the “Chattanooga experience”.
- 4/5
The hotel was great - except for one thing. The entire hotel smelled musty and a little moldy. When I visit Chattanooga, I typically stay at the Moxy. They were booked for the weekend, so I made reservations at the Choo Choo. I stayed there in March and enjoyed my experience. This time the smell of the hotel really affected my husband's sinuses. We even went to the Food City nearby and purchased an air freshener to spray in the room.
- 4/5
Check-in was smooth, and the room itself was clean and nicely decorated. However, the bathroom was a major letdown. Shortly after arriving, we discovered the bathtub was badly clogged — water would quickly fill up while showering. When maintenance arrived, the technician pulled out a large wad of hair from the drain, which was pretty gross. I first tried calling the front desk using the room phone, but it didn’t work. When I finally reached them by cell, I was asked if the issue could wait until morning — which was frustrating, as I obviously wanted it resolved right away. It took about 45 minutes for maintenance to arrive and another 30 minutes to fix the problem, which made it hard to relax after checking in. Additionally, I noticed signs of mold beginning to form on the shower walls, and one of the handle cover plates had come off (I was able to pop it back on myself). After my initial review, I did get a call from the hotel management and they worked things out with me. I won’t share the details but because of the lady on the phone my rating went from a 3 to a 4. To care enough to give me a call really means a lot.
- 5/5
Clean room decor was beautiful. Excellent, friendly staff. Elsie daughter’s restaurant was amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful interior! The room and amenities were clean
- 5/5
Love the decor - reminiscent of train passage and train cars. Kudos!
- 5/5
Only con was the sound- the doors closing from other rooms was loud.
- 4/5
Historic theme and decor makes for a great backdrop. Very clean with attentive staff.
- 5/5
Amazing stay ! Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely stay again.
- 4/5
It was fun for the kids to sleep in a train car, but we don’t care to do it again. There were crumbs on the pull out trundle, only one sheet and an uncomfortable blanket to make up the trundle, water from the shower leaked into the bathroom floor, there were no trash bags, the bed was not king size as advertised, and the shower water pressure was really high.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay, staff was excellent! Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean. I loved the colors. The only issue I had was everything was DARK. The room was dark, hallways were dark. Definitely could have used brighter lights in the rooms for the evening time. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Prices were also great.
- 3/5
It was very clean and staff was friendly. The hotel lobby was lovely and the area all around the Choo Choo was nice. However, We chose to stay in one the actual train cars which really was just a novelty. It was dark in the room, with little space to move around. We were told it would accommodate 3 adults but the sofa wasn’t a pull out but had a small 2 ft wide trundle that pulled out. We had one person end up sleeping on the sofa instead. There was a leak at the entrance to the restroom that made the carpet and floor wet. We told management but they never sent anyone and it was much worse by the time we checked out. We will stay in a regular hotel room from now on and check the train car off the bucket list!!
- 5/5
Was a wonderful stay in this unique hotel. I just hate paying $20 to park in their parking lot.
- 5/5
Really fun place to stay walking distance to lots of restaurants and breakfast joints.
- 5/5
We meet relatives here for the first time. We really enjoyed the hotel. It reminded us of the Queen Mary Ship we stayed at in Cal. The furinshings were of a different era but updated. Lots to do within walking distance with top resturants. We ate at Henna Steak House and we highly recommend. The staff were very attentive to our needs.. We'll be back.
- 5/5
Pool area was relaxing. Great surrounding area for restaurants. Rooms were unique and fun!
- 5/5
I stayed in the hotel with my GF for the night after a concert at the signal. BEST DECISION! It’s located near places to eat, and if you go see a concert you can just walk right across the parking lot to your room. No need to worry about parking. Only issue with the room was the shower curtain in our double room was not long enough and some water got on the floor as we showered. That was the only issue. GF and I will say again. By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at!
- 5/5
Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Excellent latte at the cafe. Best breakfast ever at Elsie's daughters restaurant.
- 5/5
Super convenient, walkable area. We loved exploring around the grounds with the old train cars and getting snacks at The Caboose by the pool. The room was exceptionally clean. Will definitely stay here again when I’m Chattanooga.
- 5/5
We loved that we could ride the free electric shuttle downtown to eat and shop!
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Large rooms with comfy beds. In walking distance to dining and shopping.
- 5/5
The property was in great
- 5/5
It was a very tranquil place but nearby many options for nightlife and shops. The only down side is I received a parking ticket when I was parked where I was told I would not with a hotel tag on my rear view mirror
- 4/5
Unique
- 5/5
The property was beautiful!!
- 1/5
Location was good.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel! All around great. Clean and friendly service.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and had great customer service. The set was amazing, the room was very clean but it had funny smell, not stinky or dirty just needs fresh air or more ventilation to come through. Also the room dose not have a microwave so if you bring food back to the room might have to check with front desk to warm it up. Also the train car does not provide good outside noise cancellation as we could hear other families early in the morning playing an hitting the outside of train car. But over all I would rate the room an experience a 8/10 it was my birthday weekend an we dined at Henne and went to Rock City.
- 5/5
Located in the perfect spot lots to do in walking distance. Pool was excellent. Very helpful staff. They were always willing to make recommendations.
- 5/5
We loved staying in a train car! Everything was great. There are plenty of dinner options and places to shop within walking distance. The bathroom was top notch. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
The concierge DIAN is absolutely FABULOUS..
- 5/5
The property was beautiful with lots of dining options in walking distance
- 4/5
Stylish hotel, nice pool area, in a good location. Best to call ahead if you have specific requirements.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
I loved the decor. The room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved this hotel, from the unique furniture to the absolute spotless cleanliness! It is in a great location, many, many restaurants and bars and so close to Lookout Mountain. Only got to stay 2 nights, but definitely planning to go back and spend a longer stay!
- 5/5
We originally booked the Street Car suite to stay in and when we checked in, it was having maintenance, so they upgraded us to the larger suite inside the hotel and it was very nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in a hotel. We didn't take advantage of the pool because the weather wasn't very nice. It was walking distance to restaurants and bars nearby. The coffee shop in the hotel was convenient.
- 5/5
AMAZING
- 5/5
Fun place to stay
- 4/5
No hand soap in bathroom. Room very dark. Needs more lights. Shower door would not stay closed. Beds comfortable. Staff very friendly. Ice bucket provided by staff had no liner and drinking glasses were not covered or wrapped. Sanitation questionable.
- 4/5
Location near restaurants, bars and entertainment. Train history my husband loved.
- 5/5
Conveniently located too many attractions and restaurants. Property was nice and clean .
- 5/5
Great facility
- 5/5
Great property and convenient to restaurants!
- 3/5
The best part of this hotel is the location. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. We originally booked a regular room but got called the morning of (early) and offered an upgrade to a train car for $125 a night. It’s unique to stay in a train car but the room is dated. Small things like a towel hook or
- 5/5
We stay here every time we visit Chattanooga, absolutely love it.
- 5/5
Small nice boutique hotel
- 5/5
Great location, restaurant on premises was great! Love the live music by the pool
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 5/5
We love the amenities offered and the walk ability to dinner & drinks.
- 4/5
I was centrally located for the area we wanted to visit. Never used our car during our 2 day visit. safe streets with numerous restaurants , bars and Brew Pubs.. No complimentary breakfast, however, three fine Breakfast offerings 5 minute walk away. Great Location for concerts at The Signal
- 5/5
Retro furnishings, comfy beds, good soaps
- 3/5
Our door wouldn’t lock, you could just push it open!!
- 5/5
Samual was very helpful in accomodating our experience and the visit was amazing with fresh scents in the bathrooms to comfy beds and soft linens. The barista made amazing lavender vanilla latte also!!
- 5/5
Excellent renovation of a historic property, several details have been considered, it looks like a boutique property in Italy, we were sad to leave
- 4/5
Cute room details. Clean, convenient area, many bars and restaurants. Great price for an overnight (didn’t stay in the sleeper car).
- 3/5
Overall a good place to stay but could do with a little updating maybe.
- 5/5
This property is so unique! It is fun and kitchy. The old train terminal is so cool. We hope to return.
- 5/5
This was a fantastic place to stay! The staff was wonderful and friendly. The area around the hotel was great!! Many good places to eat, drink & have fun. This is a gem!!
- 5/5
Very nice well done remodel ...Dian the concierge is wonderful and welcoming. We will return to the chalet.
- 5/5
The staff were all pleasant, professional and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!
- 5/5
Delightful boutique hotel antiques and elegance. Just a charming European vibe. Highly recommend for your stay in Chattanooga. Close to tourist attractions too.
- 5/5
This hotel was so charming - the decor was beautiful and unique. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this shower was absolutely the best ever - the water pressure was fantastic. The grounds were gorgeous. We walked around the area and found the best place for dinner - "Feed Table and Tavern". We stayed here on our way home from the Pensacola Beach to PA and this will definitely be our go to every year!!!!
- 5/5
Had a couple oysters at happy hour the day before. They were good. Alabama. The sauce was awesome! It wasn't cocktail sauce. It leaned that way. The menu said something about blood orange, which is good. We were on the way home from visiting family and stopped. We were close to the Hunter Museum and Rock City. (BUY Rock City tickets online, cheaper.) Those were worthwhile. We were going to do more outside Friday, but it rained. We will definitely go back to this hotel.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, pool was lovely! Surrounded by lush gardens and greenery. Gas lanterns make things even more romantic. Tons of places to walk to nearby, bakery, brunch spots, walk to merchants row for shopping. Highly recommend a stay in the train car! Gorgeous
- 5/5
Only negative is that the bathroom is dimmly lit which makes makeup application and shaving a challenge. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere and location with plenty of food, beverage and entertainment
- 5/5
No complaints. I slept well. Will try for one of the cars next time.
- 5/5
We stayed in a vintage train car with a boho/New Orleans old money vibe. Plenty of space for two people, cold a/c, convenient to walking, restaurants, bars. Already booked another visit.
- 4/5
Todo está impecable limpio
- 5/5
Friendly - Manager, Sam Militello and his team were professional and helpful.
- 5/5
Awesome pet friendly hotel with great staff
- 5/5
Pleasant stay, and the whole family enjoyed it. The breakfast was not complimentary and had limited options, consisting only of coffee and croissants.
- 5/5
Perfect last minute stay. Was a great room and atmosphere
- 5/5
It was a fun thing to do but they need a few more amenities for the rooms in the train cars other than that it was AWESOME an we will do it again
- 3/5
Staff was awesome. Lots of other minor issues that added up, parking as most people mention is really bad, and $18 per day.
- 5/5
Nice stay. Robes are luxurious
- 5/5
Wonderful stay!!
- 3/5
This hotel was nice but two major issues we had. I like to read in bed and they had no lighting only a dim night light near the bed. Also the tv kept pixelating all night like the wifi or connection was bad. At first we thought it was the channel but it did it on all channels. It was also very loud with people walking up the hallway late at night.
- 5/5
Comfortable, spacious room. Unique style. One down side is lighting in the room is very dim.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Clean room, staff was great
- 1/5
Floors were extra dirty room patio door was unable to close, old and needs repair and upkeeping reminded me of the shining
- 5/5
Amazing atmosphere beautiful place and great service
- 4/5
Noticed an odor outside that was unpleasant. Room was pretty and the bed was very comfortable. Very quiet.
- 5/5
Loved the hotel!
- 4/5
While the train car was very clean and quiet, the area around the hotel is extremely run down.
- 5/5
A pleasant surprise for an overnight stay while in town for a project.
- 5/5
Great motel great staff clean, beautiful rooms lovely atmosphere would definitely stay there and recommend all my friends going up in that direction. Thank you, Mr. John.
- 5/5
Our stay at the Chalet was one of our top hotel stays ever. The rooms are lovely with quaint historic decor and atmosphere, quiet despite central location to entertainment and restaurants, and top notch staff. Will stay again!
- 3/5
Front Desk was very unhelpful. Charges to card were done but not told why and what they were for. No one at desk seemed interested in my concerns.
- 4/5
Great food and friendly service in Elsie’s Daughter restaurant for dinner. The layout of everything is a bit confusing at first, a property map would have been useful. It’s super quick to walk to the bars and restaurants clustered around the old station, once you get your bearings. The man who checked us in was quite abrupt. He didn’t give us a parking pass to display in the car, so we got a fine the first night despite being in one of the hotel spaces. He said it would be taken care of, but wasn’t apologetic at all and still didn’t give us a permit for the remaining part of our stay until we asked! (Make sure to get one on arrival.) He also told us there is no breakfast available - we realised later you can buy coffee and pastries in the lobby, but we went to Funky Monkey cafe nearby instead both mornings, recommended! Would stay here again if in the area.
- 4/5
Hotel lacks appropriate lighting. I know it’s designed to be a certain style but it’s not practical
- 5/5
Love the vibe if this place! Decor is great and we love the pool area, too. Great dining options as well. It’s our fave place to stay!
- 5/5
I was completely impressed with this property. Rooms were great!!!! And location unbelievable. Staff was a 10 out of 10. I travel a lot and have to say this was a great experience.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We usually have trouble with Hotel pillows but the pillows were excellent. Walking distance to many restaurants. Live the atmosphere of the hotel.
- 5/5
Hotel Chalet felt like an elegant step back in time, from the beautiful marble and brass accents to the velvet and fringe furnishings. The decor was perfect in setting the tone of staying in an authentic train car. Restaurants, coffee, shops and more were just steps away. Perfectly situated in the heart of the Choo Choo district. Definitely make this a place to stay. We will be back. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
- 5/5
Very nicely furnished with personal touches like robe and umbrella
- 5/5
It is a very nice hotel with a particular style, pleasant and comfortable.
- 5/5
Cute property with train cars as an option. We stayed in a ground floor room with a patio. We didn't use it as it was full of fallen tree debris but to be honest it was too hot to sit out there anyway. We ate at the hotel restaurant and it was good. Live music was a plus. Then there were other venues nearby for an after dinner drink.
- 5/5
Great location, and the property was awesome. Well maintained. Staff as super nice.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful! We originally got placed in a room where the a/c wasn’t working properly and they moved us to a different room and we had 0 issues. Location was central and near a lot of restaurants and things to do!
- 4/5
They should not charge for parking.
- 5/5
Everything was great!!! Don’t understand why have an extra $74 charge on my credit card!
- 5/5
