Perfect location. Very clean.

The London House is in a perfect location in downtown Chicago close to the River Walk and train stations. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly!

The hotel was amazing, we upgraded to a river view room and it’s was a beautiful view. Only minor downside was how full the rooftop is almost every night. They do prioritize guests staying there but it can be a wait to get in without a reservation. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations.

Fantastic location to walk around Chicago, right in the centre- perfect! However outside noise was very loud! Singers on the street, fire trucks, cars blasting music at all hours is the downside (windows aren’t double glazed). But location made up for it! Roof top bar was very crowded all the time with no special area for guests.

Extraordinarily lovely and helpful staff. This hotel manages to promote a staff and facility that beautifully balance solid upscale services with a true sence of welcome and connection, with a warm but unintrusive vibe and clear consideration of it's guests.

Perfect location, wonderful staff, and loved the atmosphere. The bars and brunch in the rooftop were lovely.

Upon arrival, our rooms were not ready, and I had to repeatedly ask multiple times for updates before finally being able to check in. Once we got to the room, there was a noticeable mildew odor that made the room uncomfortable. I had to call housekeeping to come spray the room just so the smell would improve. The customer service experience also fell short. When we called for in-room dining the first night, the employee who answered was rude and dismissive, stating they were too busy to help us. We then had to call the front desk for assistance, only to be redirected back again. To make matters worse, during checkout there was no bellman available to assist with luggage, and afterward I noticed additional charges being added to my bill that did not make sense and appeared inaccurate. For a hotel that markets itself as upscale and luxury, the service, communication, and overall experience did not meet expectations. What was supposed to be a memorable Mother’s Day trip turned into a frustrating experience instead.

London House Hilton Chicago was fabulous. Great location. Wonderful view nice rooms rooftop bar is amazing, make reservations. For a quieter atmosphere the lounge on the second floor is a great place to hang out.. We’ll definitely stay there again.

This hotel gives that WOW factor. The hotel was built in the1920 and the details are breath taking. What an incredible experience spend that extra coin to get the river view. It was totally worth it. We had room service for breakfast just a classic breakfast and it was delicious.the robes /slippers were such a lush touch. Rooftop patio is amazing. It will get busy. I just wish that it was available to guests first. Cute vibe. The staff are amazing and so sweet! Everything we wanted to do was 15 minutes tops. Great location! We loved walking around the town! Take the architectural tour. All of the buildings are truly masterpieces. Thanks for such a wonderful experience we loved it so much!

Loved my stayed here! It was super close to everything. We rented a car just incase but turns out we didn’t need it at all

However, there were a few downsides. I tried to go to the rooftop several times, but each time I was told it was closed because I wasn’t planning to order food. That didn’t feel right and seemed like access was unnecessarily restricted. Also, the bedsheets were not changed unless I specifically requested it, which is below expectations for a hotel at this level. Another issue was that there was no microwave anywhere in the hotel. Even having one per floor would have been very helpful. Overall, it’s a good hotel, but these points could definitely improve the guest experience.

First time in downtown Chicago and had a blast. So glad I booked my stay at the London House hotel. The location is magnificent and the staff was fantastic. Lorena, did a great job, ensuring I was having a good time. Will definitely come back!

It made me appreciate the value of staying at hotels outside the downtown core. Even as a guest of the hotel, I was asked not to take film photos on the rooftop patio because of the "professional" look of the camera, while Instagram vloggers walked around in formal clothes, talking to their phones - which was 100% for-profit and extremely tacky. I think boutique hotels in Wicker Park/Bucktown (Robey, for example) are more tuned into the nuance of good service, and less tethered to the tourist eco-system. Good lesson for next time.

Hotel was clean and location is great. The only issue was the size of the beds. They are smaller than any hotel bed my husband and I have ever slept in. They are true doubles. We had our teenage son with us so we needed 2 beds. We were offered an upgrade ($60) at check in but it was already an expensive room so I didn’t opt for the upgrade but after I saw the bed sizes I wish I had. Overall it was a great stay and the location is perfect.

My husband and I stayed in the presidential suite. It was absolutely spectacular. Wonderful food at prime Ocean and good breakfast. Amenities were out of this world. Customer service was amazing. We met the best bartender ever at the rooftop bar. The views were the best in Chicago!! highly recommend this hotel.

At this price there are much better options. The rooftop bar has wobbly rickety stools, a sticky floor, and smells like a college bar. If you stay here, make sure you do not get a room on the 20th floor. You can hear the rooftop bar music clearly and then I am unsure what they were up to but after the bar closed we could hear period noises of perhaps a cart being rolled back and forth? It woke us up at all odd hours.

Amazing stay and will likely be here for majority of my Chicago stays. Staff was incredibly nice and gave us an upgrade. Our room had an amazing view over looking the river with floor to ceiling windows. The hotel is extremely convenient as we were able to walk everywhere. Room itself was pretty, spacious, and cozy. Bathroom was nice and well lit as well.

The room was in pretty good condition. Not as grand as it seems. The carpet was a bit muggy and kind of a weird smell. Bathroom supplies i thought was a bit messy since shampoo was pepermint, conditioner cilantro, and body wash rum... Sounds like ingredients for a drink. The front desk staff not as welcoming. The housekeeper on our floor (9) on the other hand was extremly friendly and helpful and we loved her. Always asking if we needed anything and made us feel great.

The hotel itself is impeccable: warm, spotless, and beautifully maintained throughout. You immediately feel taken care of the moment you walk in. And the location? Perfect. Central, vibrant, and exactly where you want to be when visiting Chicago—close to everything without feeling chaotic. A standout stay in every way. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Hotel was great but Expedia didn’t send over my reservations so I had a very hard time checking in. Eventually it all got sorted out because I had my itinerary number but was VERY EMBARRASSING to have that happen in front of my wife in her birthday!

I had a tense exchange with one of the front desk staff named Jessica or Jasmine. She was rather rude and short and her interaction with me was interrogatory. I was disappointed because the staff had been very nice on the phone prior to that.

I stayed at LondonHouse Chicago over the weekend and overall had a really great experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming — door staff, front desk, and even people I passed in the elevator were genuinely friendly, which honestly sets the tone for the stay. The room itself was nice and modern, and I had an amazing view. I’m not going to lie — the carpets did seem a bit dirty, which took away slightly from the experience. That said, the room had everything I needed and felt comfortable overall. Now… the $8 bottle of water? That’s a stretch. Possibly illegal. Let’s talk about that. 😅 I also checked out the rooftop. Obviously winter doesn’t do it full justice, but the views are still beautiful. The bar up there was okay — nothing particularly wow, but a nice spot to stop by. All in all, I’d definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance. Great location, great staff, solid experience with just a few small misses.

The staff’s attitude was consistently rude, from the valet to the door attendants, with no friendly greetings or basic courtesy. This was our first visit to Chicago, and despite the hotel not being busy, the service was unacceptable. Additionally, the river view you booked through Expedia was not honored; instead, you were offered a back-and-forth negotiation and asked to pay an extra $360, which I you refused. Overall, the front desk was unwelcoming and lacked any warmth or personality, making this your worst hotel experience. You would not recommend this stay to others.

Parking price is absurd… it was half our room rate so we didn’t utilize it. Room was great, but extremely noisy on Wacker which was expected, but still pretty bad. Hot water almost non existent in the morning. Very pricey breakfast and it wasn’t very good. Asked to be moved rooms due to noise and view, and they said that because we had a “surprise” in our room we couldn’t be moved. That surprise was a card. I would’ve rather had a different room. Overall it was fine, best part was the very comfy bed.

I couldn't believe that you had to pay for a bottle of water at $3 each, this is a basic human right and I have never stayed in a hotel where the bottled water needed to be paid for. Also, there was no kettle for tea making and the coffee and creamer selections were rationed. These two minor matters really affect your stay

I called staff to help with the tv, and it was very loud in the lobby and I could not hear the employee and they could not hear me. The water provided in the room tasted awful. It was an overwhelmingly disappointing first experience with Hilton.

El hotel es hermoso la habitación muy cómoda lo único que no encontré razonable es que te cobren 100 dólares por noche durante tu estancia por ejemplo me que de 7 días me cobraron 700 dolores que al final de la estancia serán reembolsables pero encontré que es muy exagerado en mi opinión.

I will say I was a bit disappointed and underwhelmed with the service. The staff we interacted with did not have a welcoming attitude. Ordered room service once in our stay and it took over an hour to arrive.

Front end staff and cleaning staff are friendly and inviting, the rooftop, the lobby bar is nice, but it would’ve been great to have latte and tea options. The ballroom party was awesome, but they needed more access control. People were walking in off the streets without bands. The restaurant breakfast was probably the best French toast I’ve ever had. However, our seating was uncomfortable because the table had an annoying wobble. Overall 5 star experience!

Room was decent, but I expected more given the price of the hotel. The property itself is beautiful and very well put together, so my expectations may have just been a bit high. That’s more on me than the hotel. However, the $80/ per day charge for valet parking felt unreasonable. That price is excessive, especially considering I’ve stayed at the 4 star and 5 star hotels where valet costs half as much. Parking should never cost that much, and I will not be returning to this hotel for that reason.

Got a great upgrade to the wellness room. The bathrooms are large and spacious. Mattress is on the softer side and the gym is small but has what you need. The staff is friendly as well. The best thing about this hotel is the location and I would stay here again!

The layout is huge (over 1000 sqft) featuring a separate living room/parlor and a luxurious bedroom—plenty of room to relax and entertain comfortably. 3 couches across a bedroom and 2 separate living spaces. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Chicago River, city skyline, and even glimpses of Lake Michigan, making each moment magical, especially with the New Years Fireworks display happening right outside our windows. The marble fireplace in the parlor created the perfect intimate setting—ideal for savoring champagne, watching the fireworks, and simply unwinding together, which we took time to do each day/night. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable. Premium amenities included a 4 tv's (3 - 55-inch HDTVs and 1 tv built into the bathroom mirror), Sonifi cable system, complimentary high-speed Wi‑Fi, a Tivoli Bluetooth alarm clock, and a spacious work desk that i worked at while my family was out shopping. In-suite Nespresso machine, fridge, and bathrobes added a lovely touch of convenience and indulgence. Every aspect of our stay—from the grand views to the thoughtful in‑room comforts—was exceptional. 10 out of 10 with no notes. We felt like we were living in luxury, and there's no doubt we’ll remember this stay for a lifetime.

The room was large and clean. The bathroom was clean, as well. The purchased room was unavailable upon our arrival. Paid additional charges for an upgraded room that was available. There was no free breakfast offered or available, that I am aware of. The LondonHouse is nice, but average to good quality for the hotel class it operates in.

Loved our stay, clean rooms and restroom. Located right in the heart of downtown and everything was within walking distance. The only complaint would be the poor lighting in the rooms, very dark and minimal lights. It was hard to find my belongings at times. Aside from that, we’d definitely stay again!

Unfortunately we checked in kind of late and didn’t get a chance to experience the onsite restaurant nor the rooftop. It was my first time staying at London House. My check-in blew my mind. They upgraded me. The doormen, the bellhops, the valet. Five stars! My room was excellent! The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, the rotating TV was fun, and they had glass drinkware!!

The hotel is clean with a beautiful setting, especially with the holiday decorations. The staff is willing to go above and beyond, but they are always very busy at the front desk, and there is almost always a line to wait for assistance. The room was clean and comfortable, though I wish it had a bathtub—especially after walking 15,000 steps each day!

The hotel was very upscale with awesome technology and was in a great location. The staff was very professional and housekeeping did.an excellent job. My room was impeccable and the climate control worked like a charm to keep my room warm during the frigid Chicago weather. The only real negatives are the prices of food, noisy doors, and large credit card holds for incidentals.

LondonHouse Chicago is in a fantastic location and the property itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the hotel. During our 4-day stay, we never received fresh washcloths despite requesting them, and used room-service items (trash, silverware, etc.) were left in our room for two days before anyone cleared them. Even more concerning, a room-service tray sat on the hallway floor outside a neighboring room for two full days — not what you’d expect at this level. Service in the lobby bar was also very slow and inattentive, although we did have a good experience at the rooftop bar, which was decorated very festively! Overall, a nice property in a great location, but the lack of attention to basic service needs made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

It was an okay stay; the staff wasn't super welcoming during the check-in. When we came in, he had his head down on the computer the whole time. It felt very unwelcoming, as if we were bothering them. They didn't tell us about any amenities or offer to help with our bags. I would say the best part was the valet staff and the food. It's a nice hotel, but it doesn't really seem to care about its guests. Also, they left the in-room dining plates outside our room for the entire day. We left at 10 am and came back at 4 pm, and the plates were still at our door.

We enjoyed our stay even though we lost our specific room booking. Our flight was delayed and our check-in was after midnight. We were given a nice room but on the 4th floor where the traffic noise was definitely heard. Restaurant was good for breakfast and the hospitality was nice!

A beautiful hotel with stunning architecture, a very friendly staff, and an unbeatable location. We were able to walk to all the major spots in downtown Chicago right from the hotel. Highly recommended.

Our visit was exceptional-from the moment we stepped through the door right up untill checkout. All of the staff was friendly and very accomodating, our room was spotless, and the beds comfy. We arrived on 11/20 and hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. I can't wait to visit again!

Bathroom floor was dirty. Phone had a thick pile of dust. The carpets in the room are dirty already and old. You can see the dirt spots on it. Pros: We had a suite with a beautiful river view. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. Towels and bathrooms were clean. Service and reception was good. Breakfast was $140 but we ordered 4 plates plus coffee and it came with flowers in clean plates and the most important it was delicious.

This hotel is centrally located. We loved the fact that we were able to walk to most of our planned destinations. Our room view was beautiful, we chose the Vista view room.

We absolutely loved this hotel for our group getaway to Chicago! It was an adult couples birthday trip and we planned on seeing sports, shopping, dining. Location was excellent, walkable to the best restaurants and shopping in town. The property was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Staff was available and helpful. We were especially impressed by the room cleaning service throughout the trip. The rooms were spacious and in pristine condition. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was very clean and had a variety of food options. The location is perfect as it’s within walking distance to many good restaurants and attractions.

No veggie option in the breakfast made it a terrible option.

The room was nice but the surly desk clerk, who checked us in, put us in room 1511, which was beside the elevator and the noise of the elevator made it difficult to sleep. I am a Gold Hilton member but I was told, in a very condescending manner, that because I booked through Expedia that we would receive no Hilton Gold Perks. He almost seemed delighted to tell us that. I was not aware that booking through Expedia would make us ineligible for perks but I now know that and won't do it again but the manner in which I was treated by the desk clerk was anything but professional or polite.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at LondonHouse Chicago! The hotel is stunning from top to bottom. The rooftop bar was amazing with breathtaking views, and the lobby was beautiful and welcoming. Our room was simply gorgeous, with an incredible Chicago River view right out front. Everything we needed was provided, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room was cleaned daily and impeccably maintained. My husband and I had the most wonderful trip to Chicago, and the hotel made his 30th birthday truly special. We can’t recommend LondonHouse enough!

We upgraded our room which we were given a discounted rate to do so, however the hotel charged the wrong amount for the upgrade so rather than send up a letter like they had to notify us of window cleaning or by calling me, they locked us out of our room with all of our stuff inside for me to settle the charges, which I would have done anyway. As far as the upgrade is concerned, I was told we would be on the 19th floor, but when we went to check in, we were given a different floor. Overall, the stay itself was fine, but I don’t see myself coming back with dusty rooms and a surprise lockout.

Great view of Chicago River from my 15th fl room.Very loud traffic noise several nights between approx 11p-1a, sounded like street racing on Michigan Ave. Check-in was OK( why did the man who checked me in have his tie thrown over his shoulder as if he didn't want to spill something on it while eating? odd). My card did not go thru the first time for the $500 hold-fee and I was rushed to try another card. And of course my card went thru on the second try.Likely the fault of their card reader rather than my card. At check-out the clerk did not cite any charges but refused to print out my bill saying that the booking company (HC) would email the receipt. Today my card alerted me there is a $3 charge from The London House, no description.The week before I stayed at The Monteleone in New Orleans (booked thru HC) and they had no problem providing a printed receipt upon check-out.

Love the hotel, the only thing is that you can hear all the noises from the streets, ambulances in the middle of the night besides that no complaints.

This hotel was nearly perfect! Great staff. Great location. Clean. My only complaint was the ice machine was broken on our floor. We reported it to staff 3 separate occasions and it wasn’t fixed in the 5 days we were there. Hotel is located on a busy street so there is some noise but if that Doesn't bother you… this is perfect. Very walkable location! The staff there are fantastic. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave. They understand the assignment. Highly recommend.

If we wanted to get into a room, we had to pay for an upgrade. We paid it because we didn’t want to wait any longer, but it would have been nice if we were not charged only because they were not ready. Besides that, it was a great stay.

I recently stayed at LondonHouse. From the first staff greeting us and taking our luggage to the hotel’s front desk, I found courteous staff who were pleasant and very helpful. My room was beautifully appointed and had an excellent view of the river and downtown area. Housekeeping kept it clean and supplies and toiletries were well stocked. I ate at the Land and Lake restaurant and enjoyed the LondonHouse Fall Tea on Saturday. From the first day to the last, my stay at LondonHouse was quite enjoyable!
