The Hoxton Chicago
About The Hoxton Chicago
Welcome to The Hoxton, Chicago - your home away from home in the heart of Chicago's West Loop district. While there is so much to do (and eat) in this nook of the Windy City, you may find yourself having a hard time leaving The Hoxton's four walls. We've got 3 bars and restaurants, rooftop pool, room service, a coffee shop, yoga studio, The Apartment - our meeting and events space, and Working From_ - our coworking space (just to name a few). In the lobby, you'll find Cira - a modern Mediterranean restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and tasty weekend brunch. Up on the roof, there's Cabra - a Peruvian-inspired cevicheria by Chef Stephanie Izard. And finally, for nightcaps and evening sips, head to Lazy Bird where you'll enjoy live music with a cocktail (or two) in hand. As for our rooms, each is air-conditioned with a satellite flat-screen TV, well-appointed interiors, private bathrooms with rain showers and the free Hoxton extras you know to expect from us: tea kettle, coffee and tea, water, mini fridge, blow dryer, Blank toiletries, 24-hour front desk service along with WiFi throughout the hotel. What's more, we're dog-friendly, and offer valet parking for hotel and restaurant guests. We're a short stroll to Willis Tower, Chicago Board of Trade Building and the CIBC Theater. The closest airport is Midway International Airport (MDW) - about 8 miles from The Hox.

Reviews
The Hoxton Hotel is generally well-liked for its trendy decor, excellent location, and friendly staff. However, some guests have expressed dissatisfaction with the small room size, noise levels, and inconsistent service quality.
- Trendy decor and stylish rooms

Amazing amenities, food offerings were diverse and excellent - don’t miss the French toast at the main floor restaurant! Rain shower head in our room was fantastic! Liver all of the design and decor of this cozy boutique hotel. Location is great for Fulton Market entertainment district - just steps away from the front door. Bed could have been a little more comfortable for the price, but it was honestly fine.

Great area, nice lobby bar. Room was clean and nice. Would stay here again.

Great hotel!!
- 2.5/5
Good restaurant/bar and very friendly personnel Very loud air conditioning, windows are not soundproof enough so passing train is very loud and disruptive to sleep. No USB ports. Bathroom sink leaking/dripping all night. Overpriced for quality
- 4/5
The Hoxton is in a key location for eating out, access to the city and getting around. There are some aspects of the rooms that make the overall stay slightly below four star due to a worn down chair in the room, and marginal housekeeping.

Then on the last night (Sunday mind you) at 2 am our wall was vibrating from neighbor bumping music. Called security and security shows up to our door knocking instead of the person playing music. 😂 Lastly we had a lot of hidden charges that were not clearly defined when booking the hotel and these charges did not exist when we stayed here back in August. Called them to dispute and they told me they get calls all the time of people disputing these charges claiming they’re for their amenities. But when booking a hotel amenities should just be a part of the booking. Charging guests $25 a night ($100 total) for pool and gym should just be included into the booking cost. Just charge more per night at that point. Overall location is superb, the staff is uninterested, and the lobby is always vibrant. But wouldn’t stay here again. Seems it’s on the downfall.

They have a water dispenser on each floor. You can bring your own water bottle for refills
- 5/5
Excellent vibes, always. Its design definetly has a lot of concept. The staff are always pleasant, the bar is always packed and the breakfast at cira really good. Next trip to Chicago, this is the spot
- 5/5
Great end to a Chicago style date night with my one and only.

Ultimately, makes a premium hotel like this more of a "fine" hotel as opposed to "great" Won't be staying again.
- 5/5
There is something for everyone at this nicely located hotel near the Green Line and steps away from many chic restaurants and bars. The Hoxton pays attention to details and adds the extras that elevate a stay -- water bottle fill stations on every floor, coffee bar in the hotel, quick early breakfast delivered to the room for those rushing out. The downside was the AC did not work in our room, the fridge did not cool in our friends' room, and a room flooded into the hall, so some maintenance issues. Only 2 elevators = very slow during peak times. And, make sure to ask for the quiet side of the building if the train will keep you awake or wake you up in the morning.

I absolutely love this hotel! The staff is incredibly kind, and it’s conveniently located right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially solo travelers.

Hotel location is great. It is in the West Loop and close to many restaurants. I wish there is a gym in the hotel. Or they can have a partnership with gyms close by.

We enjoyed a wonderful staycation at The Hoxton. On-site, we used the valet, water stations, live music at the speakeasy, coffee, and cocktails. The staff was kind. The room was clean. We will be back!

The young lady who checked me in was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, welcoming, and very good at presenting everything the hotel offers (events, live music, food, etc.). The front desk staff the next morning were also kind and professional. I woke up covered in bites, which appear to be bedbug bites. I immediately reported it to the front desk (room 1023), showed photos, and checked out. While the staff acknowledged it, the follow-up from the hotel was essentially nonexistent. I sent an email—no response. Later I received a text asking for photos, which I provided, but after that… nothing. No follow-up, no concern about my health, no update about the room, no accountability.

Hotel could use some updates
- 5/5
Towels were threadbare, room was next to train tracks…but overall a great experience.
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Bar staff service was not amazing, we order 2 $20 cocktails and 1 wasn’t the right cocktail / taste. We politely asked the server and she didn’t do anything about it.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Remembered my birthday :) they gave great directions and suggestions for things to do. The food was INCREDIBLE. Both the dining on the first floor and the rooftop. The views on the rooftop were equally incredible. The room we stayed in was comfortable, small, but cozy. The king bed was a plus, pillows left a little more to be desired, the rainfall shower head was super relaxing.

I love the atmosphere, very vibrant and welcoming. I liked everything about my stay. No complaints.
- 2/5
Cons: It’s a scene on the weekends and each time I’ve stayed there other guests have inconsiderately slammed doors and had full throated conversations throughout the night 12AM to 5AM, no exaggeration. So yeah, that’s a definite The rooms are small, spartan, and tired.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
The wife and I did a staycation and let me say it was worth it! You definitely wouldn’t have to leave the hotel. Main level the basement and the roof all had a vibe to it! Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Located in the Fulton Market area, this gem is the perfect blend - not too big, not too small, beautiful rooms, lovely design and attention to detail. Wished I had stayed another night.
- 3/5
$75 bucks a day to park, no housekeeper unless you request it, for the amount of money paid I had to go fetch my towels every day. It was a club atmosphere on weekends by night with riff raff.
- 3/5
Flushing was difficult, we couldn’t control the temperature in the room so it got really hot, one be side lamp has a short and kept flickering.
- 5/5
Helpful staff, immaculate condition, bar, restaurant and speak easy were impressive and fun
- 5/5
Central Location, Very Nice lobby and Rooftop bars. Very helpful staff and Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Super friendly and helpful staff!
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable. Food at the hotel is a bit pricey but good. Very well located close to restaurants, bars and shops
- 5/5
Super trendy cute hotel. The downstairs bar and restaurant is always lively and frequented by locals (including the jazz speakeasy downstairs. Room was clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Great stay! Loved the room. - small but lovely. Hotel has great amenities including the lobby bar. Perfect location for our United Center event
- 5/5
So fun!! Love the decor!! Walking distance from lots of great food options!
- 2/5
Very stylish hotel, bar and restaurants were great. Unfortunately, despite paying for an upgraded room to be on the quiet section of the hotel, it was right next to a train line. The rooms have zero sound proofing, so you can hear every word from the room next door. If you want to sleep - AVOID THIS PLACE

Nice hotel in a great location. Staff and service were friendly, helpful, & professional. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Room service was very quick and tasted great! Valet parking was fast and easy. I would definitely recommend The Hoxton Hotel!
- 5/5
The room was spotless and updated. The staff went above and beyond at the front desk to make our stay memorable. The Hotel has various options for meals and entertainment. We stayed a weekend that was very cold and snowy. We practically did not have to leave the hotel to enjoy our weekend.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful hotel. The art, the vibe, the customer service…top notch. Also the bed was super comfortable. Amenities were fantastic.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff was outstanding!
- 4/5
Great amenities and staff Room was quite small but not an issue if travelling alone.
- 4/5
Loved the hotel. Great location, fun neighborhood, lively lounge, and nicely appointed, quiet rooms. Nice balance. Would have given 5 stars if the hotel housekeeping protocols were clearer. Guests have to request daily, which wasn’t communicated to us - this includes basic water and coffee/tea replenishment.
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
Clean and friendly The manager stop serving me drinks for no reason at all upsetting me.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome. Room, staff, food/drink.. nailed it!
- 0.5/5
It was clean and I loved the ambiance and atmosphere. The view from my room was beautiful! I watched the sunrise because I couldn’t go to sleep. I was awakened out of my sleep by a man who came to my door at 2am, banging on my door and trying to get in even after I told him he’s at the wrong door, he was there for 30 minutes then left and came back until I called the front desk to come get him. She asked if he was with me and I said no and no one knows what room he was in. So that was extremely scary and off putting. I wouldn’t visit or recommend that place to anyone else and I had high hopes for the place. But that experience left not only a bad taste in my mouth, but as a woman, has me on high alert when I go anywhere now. I think I have PTSD from that because I thought he was going to come in and that was just frightening after having a crazy night already.
- 3/5
Checking in was easy and early. We got a bonus food credit through our Hotels.com status but later found out we also should have been offered a room upgrade, which we were not. We also had to correct our bill when our dining credit was not applied by check-out. For 2/3 days there was no phone, internet or tv. The first night both kids crying and dogs barking on our floor woke us up. Bars and restaurants were nice, but too crowded to be pleasant, so we chose elsewhere. Ok, but not great proximity to public transportation. Room was small, but clean with nice Bluetooth speaker and self-serve coffee. Would probably choose somewhere closer to attractions next time. Thank goodness we didn’t need to work from there this trip. The services interruption could have been a much bigger deal. We were not offered any compensation for this either. Sadly, just meh.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing!! Rooms were unique and comfortable
- 4/5
Noisy and evenings were very crowded. Could barely get a drink anywhere
- 5/5
Amazing, I loved my stay
- 5/5
Wonderful staff
- 3/5
Terrible mattress that any hotel would replace.
- 5/5
This was a last-minute thing we drove down from Green Bay so that we could fly out of Chicago the next day, so it was a one night day. And limited to just the room and the restaurant the next morning and I can say that I will stay here again I loved everyone I interacted with and the place is pretty awesome.
- 1/5
Bathroom toilet did’t flush. The New Year’s party that I got charged 80 dollars per seat x4 plus was horrible food was bad seats were horrible and they refused to refund me and or move to a better seating area.
- 5/5
The Hoxton was such s beautiful place to stay, I loved the convenience of a speakeasy and a restaurant and bar in one spot, not only that it is conveniently located in a area where so many bars and restaurants are in walking distance
- 5/5
Great pretty rooms, the lobby is great and it’s easy to work from. The staff were fantastic and their check out time is later than average so hats a big plus. You can hear the train a little even form the “quiet” side but not enough to disrupt your sleep. Overall we had a very nice experience and would 100% come back here.
- 5/5
The food was not good but the drinks were great and service
- 4/5
Clean rooms, historic vibes over all a good stay in a unique hotel. That said it’s not our favorite Hoxton but won’t keep us from staying at others
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Small rooms but well kept. Pricey.
- 5/5
Lots of dining and bar options near by as well as in the hotel itself. Great area. Room was ok, nothing special, except for the marshal amp Bluetooth speaker. No top sheet on bed, heard dogs whining and loud conversation in hall. But that’s to be expected on NYE.
- 5/5
Probably time to replace the lobby furniture.
- 5/5
Clean room, great amenities, convenient location. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it’s always a great stay!
- 4/5
room had mold due to no fan in bathroom
- 5/5
Always easy and comfy
- 3/5
It’s impossible to get your room cleaned at Hoxton hotels. This is the second or third stay where I’ve tried and requests are ignored.
- 5/5
Exelent,nice environment
- 5/5
The restaurant is excellent. Location is a bit off the main downtowm but the Fulton Market district is excellent for food and drinks The room was a little tight, but we wanted the king-size bed.
- 4/5
The hotel was certainly uniquely outfitted. Lively lobby bar and dining downstairs, good breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated but the heat was very loud when it turned on and the rooms were missing cream for coffee. I had a $32 meal credit but the hotel staff didn't offer it to me until i asked for it. Overall I had a nice enough stay but not worth the almost $400 price tag for a tiny room.
- 1/5
i was surprised to have paid $200 extra for manditory insurance
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful. Room was clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel bar is also amazing as well as the bartenders. Had breakfast on my last day too and it was great! A must stay in Chicago for sure and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago.

We love this hotel! Beautiful and comfortable rooms, great facilities and location. Will definitely stay again.
- 4/5
Nice room - a little small. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge’s and bars were great.
- 5/5
Great vibe at The Hoxton Chicago. The room was clean, quiet, and comfy. The staff were so kind and helpful. Breakfast at Cira next morning was great too! Would stay there again!

Everything was great. Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
Friemdly helpful staff great food
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Love the Hoxton, it’s a beautiful hotel and the staff is amazing.
- 4.5/5
The convenience and the beautiful lobby. I was awaken every time the heat came on. Extremely annoying. I’m not going to stay there in the cold season anymore because of this.
- 3/5
Lighting was dim. Noisy. Good neighborhood
- 5/5
Thanks!
- 2/5
Terrible room. Uncomfortable bed. Chipped furniture. Loud band music at night. On our way home, we stayed at a Hampton Inn…it seemed like a luxury upgrade.
- 4/5
It was a lovely hotel but quite loud, air con units very loud and my bed was quite lumpy
- 5/5
Lobby was comfortable with excellent dining options. Neighborhood is the coolest in the city with lots of fun boutiques, great restaurants of every price range, and popular bars and lounges.
- 5/5
Great hotel, friendly staff and an overall cool vibe
- 5/5
Great location, very clean, friendly staff!
- 5/5
Nice variety and pool area was unique.
- 5/5
Very fun awesome food and aervice! Definitely not quiet but otherwise great place to stay.
- 5/5
Situated in Fulton Market area, a trendy, low - medium rise area with plenty of restaurants nearby. Next to the L line transit for access to downtown, etc. Quiet except for frequent low rolling sounds from the L line. Friendly staff. Clean and efficient, smallish rooms without closet (but had decent wardrobe stand), great shower, nice bed (but too soft pillows).
- 4.5/5
friendly, lots of accommodations and restaurants little noisy in common areas but to be expected
- 4.5/5
I like that it is renovated from an old city building. It has character. Rooms are too small.
- 5/5
awesome area and hotel
- 5/5
The hotel was not at all what I expected. It had a lovely chill vibe for morning coffee and breakfast. The staff was over the top accessible, but not overbearing. The food was amazing. For the price, I was afraid it would be stuffy but it could not be more warm, welcoming, and laid back, but with top service.
- 4/5
Nice staff and great location!! The hotel has a nice atmosphere and good restaurants. The AC in the room is loud and on top of the bed; hard to fall asleep due to the noise. We spent 5 nights in the hotel and had to take sleeping pills to sleep.
- 1/5
Save your money and just go sleep in a train station. That’s what you get staying here. It’s immediately next to an elevated subway line that runs all night long and the trains are literally feet from the rooms. I literally got no sleep. Would never stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in a great location
- 5/5
Thank you for the early check in. The staff was really welcoming.
- 2/5
Not the best…
- 4/5
Amazing hotel location, service and vibe. Tiny rooms and very very uncomfortable soft bed. Also thin walls.
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying here. The room was clean and comfortable. It was located close to restaurants & shopping.
- 3/5
I was staying in a corner room. There was an air conditioning unit being serviced in the room adjacent to mine. It sounded like they were doing heavy construction until late into the night on the first night of my stay and they returned to the room at 7am the next morning to finish the job. I would have appreciated a heads up upon checking in, but received no warning or accommodation for the inconvenience. Not really the warm welcome I would have hoped being a first time guest.
- 1/5
Items stolen from my room totaling $500 and no resolution has occurred a month and a half later.
- 5/5
Great place abd staff!
- 2/5
The hotel inside during the AM is normal but in the evening it is a nightclub atmosphere outside and around the lobby. Not sure who was actually a guest a had people try to get on the elevators without cards
- 2/5
The location, staff and amenities were great! The room is uncomfortable. The mattress is hard, the AC is loud and doesn’t cool the room much. We got a room right in front of the train tracks so it was a very unrestful sleep.
- 3/5
The AC did not work for part of our stay.
- 5/5
Great location with helpful staff. Beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also nice with great products. Will definitely stay again. Pool closed early for a private event. Gym is a bit small.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. Staff was great and the hotel was a lot of fun. For a seemingly newer build, rooms were outdated and lacked usb outlets and and a suitable desk to use as a workspace.
- 5/5
Fantastic base in Fulton Market. Great vibe!
- 4/5
The hotel has only two elevators and during peak hours it may take some time to get to the room.
- 5/5
Super clean
- 4/5
Rooms were nice but had to ask for additional towel as there was only one in room. Staff was very friendly. Checking went smooth. Would recommend.
- 5/5
There are a lot of dining options in the Hoxton and nearby ie the Fulton Market, which made it convenient for meals. The Hoxton also seemed to be very popular for meetings and relaxed get togethers which added to the vibrancy of the hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent location and great vibe.
- 3/5
My husband and I had planned our trip to chicago months ago with our now 8 month old daughter. The plan was to fly up from kansas city to specifically use the rooftop pool at the hotel and enjoy a vacation where we relax in a nice hotel. The trip turned south when we arrive and the front desk told us the pool was closed for the entire weekend due to an issue with another guest, and that they needed to spend the weekend cleaning the pool. I understand things happen, but we made it clear that we came up from Kansas City just to use the pool. The hotel gave us a $150 credit to use at the hotel AFTER I had complained. I didn't feel that the $150 covered any sort of distress I felt from flying my family up to Chicago for a trip where the one amenity was unusable. That $150 did not get us far at the restaurants with the inflated prices of the hotel, which I understand.. My issue is that I didn't feel valued as a guest enough to come to an agreement of compensation that I thought covered what we paid to be at The Hotel. The staff was kind, but we felt like the staff kept saying nothing could be done when I felt so much more could have been done to salvage our trip.
- 5/5
Love the ho ton
- 5/5
It was nice
- 3/5
This hotel needs to decide if it is a hotel or a dining and nightclub (a LOUD one..) destination. The staff was generally nice, but this will not be a repeat experience.
- 5/5
I had an amazing time; the hotel is beautiful, and the staff was very accommodating. Customer service was exceptional. The only issues were with the bathroom sink and the refrigerator, which both did not work properly.
- 3/5
The servers in the restaurant Cira were almost rude, and support staff looked miserable. The rooftop pool is tiny, and has barely a dozen spots to sit. The hotel doesn't tell you that at night it turns into a nightclub! Good luck getting to your elevator, and then plan on waiting. Don't even try getting a drink at the bar. There must have been 200 people in the lobby. The only positive feedback is that the sound from the party doesn't travel to the 6th floor.
- 5/5
Awesome hotel, great atmosphere, nice dining options, coffee bar right as you enter.
- 2/5
We had no working utilities in the room such as hair dryer and flat iron or steamer. When they were brought to us, they were broken. The property doesn’t offer any in room items like a shower cap. We didn’t have toilet paper one day and asked for some and none arrived both with house keeping or from the front desk for over 2 hours of asking, more than once. The property cares more about being trendy and their bar area than the actual hotel rooms itself. We’ve had similar problems on a previous stay. Twice now, we will not be staying here again.
- 4/5
All was good.. there were dust bunnies in teh floor in the room, and the room showed some wear and tear. The mini bar/small fridge had NOTHING .. some water and some strange soy milk... that was nonsense. The crazy bar scene in the lobby bar was difficult to hanlde... expecially the rowdy girls who didn't have IFD pices and demanded to be served... thatg was Thuersasdy June 12th
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay a the Hoxton room was comfortable.housekeeping we had once did a great job very clean.Wanted housekeeping the second time said they would come never showed up. Great location.
- 3/5
Room was small and needs to be updated wasn’t worth the pay at all.
- 5/5
Awesome staff. The pool was great. Loved The Lazy Bird.
- 5/5
My room was absolutely perfect and I think I got an upgrade when I checked in!! I am very grateful to the team for that. My room did face the train tracks but I wouldn't say the noise was a problem at all. The city view was beautiful. I would say that the shower cubicle was very large, slightly at the expense of more space in the bathroom, but it didn't bother me. The onsite bakery is such a fun touch! Definitely exactly what a tired tourist needs! I didn't make down to the cocktail bar but I had dinner one evening at the lobby restaurant. I really enjoyed that! The service was quick and the food was great. I liked the breakfast bags too! Very helpful. I only had a slight issue with the arrangements for housekeeping, as I had requested a tidy halfway through my stay, in line with their policy, but it didn't end up being done. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel! I hope to stay again and will definitely be checking out other Hoxton hotels when I'm travelling.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing. Wish we stayed longer

Always love the Hoxton! Great service, bar and hotel overall.

HOXTON hotel is very much of the center of everything (shopping, food, the train, etc.). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delish (room service and the CIRA restaurant). Will definitely be staying there whenever we visit the windy city.

Love the location of the Hoxton, super easy checkin, great little room. Lobby is always packed and busy!

We arrived in Chicago early and we had expected to not check in because it was 10:00 AM and we had a reservation at Aire for 11:00. The staff stated that our room was ready and checked us in. What a great start to the trip. Walked back after Aire also wonderful. Did our shopping and got a back to our wonderful room and rested up and went to Lazy Bird when it opened, what a great place. Fantastic experience. Will definitely stay there again!

DJ in the lobby. Lack of welcoming/showing how the keys work/elevator wkey card scanner works, no one to show us up to the room, college dorm lobby vibes. The "free anti scam minibar" as they put it was 2 waters and a milk carton that may have been left behind. Seems like a lack of understanding of what the minibar is. No coasters yet had wood mid century furniture everywhere. Blending reproduction mcm/art nouveau and lazy attempted brutalist style was odd and just seemed unfinished. The random antiques painted over in the hallway seemed like a crackerbarrel got the landlord special. Housekeeping ignored the snooze sign and came in while we were completely naked. The resturaunts inside were not bad but definitely not worth the price. It really seemed like my generation (millenial/zoomers) were running it with little guidance and understanding of the hospitality business, while taking the same money as the Ritz. I felt my money could have been well spent at a bit more established hotel.

The lobby is too chaotic in the lounge
- 5/5
It is the vibe. The restaurants, lobby, rooms, rooftop. It’s all so stunning and delicious!!! We came with a kid for the first time and it was also perfect and so accommodating with a child. We love this hoxton so much!!! A must stay in Chicago for the best experience.

The room was very small and felt shabby, with marks on the walls and tears in the sheets. I found it difficult to manage the temperature in the room and the heating system was very loud - I opted for extra duvets to be comfortable at night.
- 5/5
Very clean, chic and great restaurant options surrounding the hotel. Will stay here again!

Love the style- bathroom especially. Great pillows! Fabulous breakfast! Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was really cool, had a great vibe. The only thing that bothered me was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn’t great. Everything else was fantastic!
- 5/5
The hotel bar & on site restaurants were hoppin’ on Fri & Sat nights. We went to Lazy Bird bar later in the eve and caught an amazing cover band singing hip hop songs, it was a blast! The room was adorable boutique decor, comfy bed-soft comforter, and the bathroom shower was luxurious. The area is walkable with sooo many great restaurants. We loved the more low key food stops like Tacombi & Italian Homemade Company (homemade pasta!!). Italian Homemade Co. the owner speaks Italian amd mixes his pasta behind the bar. We had the Best homemade lasagna of our lives. Be cautious traversing thru intersections because there are no traffic lights, only stop signs and pedestrian/ car traffic is busy.

It was a great stay. Thin walls

Nice hotel with a good personnel vibe.

The hotel itself offers fantastic dining options, with two on-site restaurants featuring live music, creating a lively and stylish atmosphere. Plus, the speakeasy in the basement adds a fun, hidden gem to the experience. My room was clean, well-designed, and had a great view, making it a comfortable and relaxing stay. Whether you're looking for a chic place to unwind or a vibrant spot to enjoy great food and entertainment, The Hoxton is a perfect choice. I’ll definitely be back!

This was a really nice hotel and perfect for the location where our business meetings were. The staff, the atmosphere, the food and drinks at The Hoxton Hotel were beyond good!

Great location and neighborhood.

Plus, you are in the heart of Chicago's nightlife and dining options. The hotel has two great dining options and a super cute bar in the basement. The rooftop is amazing
- 5/5
The restaurant on main floor gets quite busy and loud to walk through in the evening when returning to hotel and to get to room. Otherwise, great stay.

Absolutely loved our time at the Hoxton in Chicago! It’s such a hip and trendy hotel that’s always lively in the lobby. Would definitely come back!
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay. Love the night life. I will stay again.

Everything was great! Lot's of places to eat within the hotel, including the new MILK bakery. We were able to bring our doggy, but if you have a pup that's scared of loud noises beware of the train that passes by overhead (it's loud).

Had a lovely time.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! Will definitely return

Staff was amazing, no complaints.

Great stay in the West Loop with convenient access to many great restaurants and shops. A good alternative to staying in the loop or River North. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, aside from the noisy HVAC. Adjusting or turning off the thermostat would avoid this issue. The room was small, but cozy; not a problem since I was only here for one night.
- 3/5
Rooms are very small and bed was not comfortable. You definitely pay for the trendy feel and location. Room is nothing special.

Loved it! Great vibe. Great restaurant. Great location.

Amazing property. Great staff.

One thing I would advise people before they book here is that the hotel is right along the train line. If you choose to have a room with a city view, which is the front of the hotel you will be right above the train line. I didn't think much of it and didn't think the train would be loud at night, but my first night I got very little sleep as the train goes by every 10-15 minutes. I was able to change rooms and move to a room on the backside of the hotel, but even then you could still hear the train (just not as loud). I got some ear plugs from the front desk, which helped quite a bit. If you are a light sleep or noise at night disrupts you then maybe consider another property.

We planned a last minute staycation to celebrate our courthouse marriage and couldn't have asked for better service. We wrapped things up at the courthouse much earlier than we had anticipated, called The Hoxton to see if we could check-in early and to our amaze, they allowed us to! Not only did they allow us to arrive early, but they also heard that we had gotten hitched and upgraded us to a corner room. I'm sorry, what?! What an awesome surprise. The room was super clean, lush towels, and a beautiful bathroom! The staff was great and the location is awesome. We were right by Girl & The Goat which is where we had our dinner reservation. The only thing I will say - I wish you had robes! That bathroom is far too nice to not have a robe to relax in. Thank you all for making our weekend so special.

Awesome staff at check in - really kind and helpful. The rooms are well done but a little small. We stowed our luggage under the bed since there wasn’t room for our large bags and they were covered in dust and muck when we pulled them out. Our sink drain didn’t work and the shower door leaked water all over - not end of world. The fitness room is new and well done but very very small. It was full with 5 people and had to go back later when there were only 3 folks. Location is fantastic and other amenities are great - main floor bar staff is very nice but can get slammed due to their popularity so just plan time accordingly if you’re stopping for a quick drink.

Small rooms, but stylish. The area around it is fun so yoid be out all night anyway. Staff is great, very accommodating with request and late checkout is available for $10! Amazing!

Beautiful area with a beautiful hotel. Would recommend 10/10. The Hot Dog daiquiri is a MUST TRY when visiting here!! Will not disappoint.
- 2/5
It looks nice, lobby is beautiful, coffee is good. Bed was meh, and water pressure in shower was NA. There was a mix of hospitable and not so hospitable people working here which overall was a bit disappointing.
- 5/5
It was incredible!! So many small things that made staying here great!
- 5/5
Really great vibe of a hotel, my favorite place to stay in Chicago, if even for a staycation.
- 3/5
Lobby/Bar were great. Close to elevated trains so very noisy. No handsoap for sink? Hard bed.
