Not what i expected from the pictures

Fresh smelling throughout. Kitchenette with full size stove was helpful. Beds are comfortable. Grounds are welcoming. Maria is hard working and cheerful.

We booked this hotel on the road and were arriving within the hour. We called and let them know we were coming because it was late. They were very kind and immediately sent us instruction with the room number. We were pleasantly surprised at the pristine condition of the room. We left the next morning with the door unlocked and the key on the table as instructed. Even without contact with the staff, they were friendly and kind with their correspondence. It was the most seamless interaction we have ever had with a late arrival.

The property is close to family that’s why we stayed there. It definitely needs updating.

Exceptional

There were plenty of towels, good shower temp and water pressure, and comfy bed with an extra blanket. Also, the heat was working well, which was essential for January. The only complaint I have is that the bed frame was bigger than the box spring and mattress and was a similar color to the carpet. So I kept banging my shins against the edge of the bed frame.

Great "hidden jewel" ran by very nice people. Immaculately clean, private and nearby all pertinent necessities. Fairly priced too. I frequent the area often to see my elderly mom at her assisted living facility and have switched to staying here. I will be staying here again in 2 months :)

I love the Clarence Inn! Everything is always clean and ready for me. I was in the process of moving to the area and had stayed there many times before my move. Maria was always so sweet and helpful. It's not fancy, but very clean and a great location. I love the fact that it is local.

The second day we were there I put out the sign on the door when I left in the morningthat I wanted maid service and by time I got back in the evening. Nothing had been done. Also, the shower head is so low, literally on my back!

Property was very clean and beds were comfortable..and hotel was quiet Bathroom was small .. no window or working exhaust fan and shower head was installed at 5 feet ! I’m 5’6” and husband is 5’10” and bending down to shower is ridiculous..easy to fix with a handheld attachment !

Staff is wonderful but the room was dingy and very musty. There’s a mold problem there!

Very convenient to Buffalo airport; small rooms but had everything you need, Maria was onsite and very welcoming and helpful. The only downside was that the room and property need a little refresh….carpet, furniture, but all in all it was good.

This motel was clean, with excellent bed-making service. Never saw a staff member or maid. TV had pixelating issues, although WiFi was generally decent otherwise. Coffee & tea is in the room, but Inn lacks central gathering place or ability to chat with anyone. I saw only one guest during my 3-day stay and he was getting his steps in by walking around the central building where the owners appear to live. No restaurant or bar is walkable from this location.

I would just recommend that they keep the outside lights lit by the landmark Buffalo in front because it’s hard to locate the driveway at night.

The owner and the housekeeping staff could not have been better! Communication was excellent!

Clean, a little outdated, self check in, and quiet. We arrived after dark and the room numbers were difficult to read. Maybe a reflective paint or paint color that contrasts with the door color would make it easier to read the number on the door.

Could use a bit of an update and the rooms have more "stuff then necessary" but it was lovely... a couple hooks on the wall, take out the dressers and cupboard, put the TV up on a Wall rack, and you could easily put in queen beds and have a TON of room in the basic units, we love it, but it was tiny ... and our door was very sticky, the lock...

Lovely older motel that has been well kept. Reminded me of staying in my grandma’s guest room-quiet, clean and cozy and a little dated-but who cares cuz you’re with grandma. Maria is so sweet and greets everyone with her smile and sweet spirt as she moves around the motel.

It was a nice quiet stay. Room was pretty small and the only negative was the beds being a little too firm. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely stay again if we ever return to this area.

Nothing wrong with the facility - the staff were polite in my limited interaction with them - but just be aware that you're getting an older, tired but safe and clean motel, and not a 'quaint, boutique, could have been a Hallmark Christmas movie' type facility.

Its ok for an overnight. Small motel. Very dated. They texted me a hour before i showed with info on my room, but i didnt see it. Office was dark and closed when we showed up at 6pm on a Saturday. Not a late time... Furnace in the room is very loud so you might want to bring earplugs.

This was all we needed, definitely nothing fancy and like all other reviews say the rooms are very dated. But it was clean and that's what matters. The lady that checked us in was so sweet. One couple did have the room with the bed with the frame that was bigger than the mattress and they said they kept hitting it. Otherwise we were happy.

This was bit shady to us. There was no ID verification done to me. Means they didn’t check for others. When we were checking in to the room. I felt it was not at all safe. We didn’t stayed there. We came back immediately. There were few people outside and it was bit scary. Ther was noise

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Not having any contact with the office staff was a little off-putting but as we didn't need anything it wasn't a big deal. One big problem was the bed frame in room 2. It was made for a bigger mattress and the bottom of the approx. 3 inch metal frame extended beyond the end of the bed by about 6 inches. I tripped over it more than once (wthout falling.) You really need to correct this trip hazard before someone gets injured.

Such a throwback!! The Clarence Inn reminds me of the family motels from the 60's except the bed was sooo much more comfortable! Small room but comfortable, coffee pot, fridge and microwave...perfect ! Very clean and quiet...will be back!

This property was very clean despite being a little dated. The house keeper was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a little confusing about how to get assistance when needed. The office was in a house and no instructions were given for who to contact for help. Check in was simple and done completely in our room. Our main complaint was that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom and it looked as if it was a recurring issue judging by the amount of water damage in the bathroom. We ended up showering without a curtain because we weren’t sure who to contact to get one especially that early in the morning. We were not comfortable knocking on someone’s door to their home. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we would stay there again. We would just get details on who to contact for assistance.

We stayed for 6 days, we would have stayed 6 month. very comfortable and easy to get everywhere from this location.

We rented 2 rooms for one night. When we arrived the office was not open. Called number on the door. Come to find out they leave a message on your phone with instructions of room number etc. and that’s how you check in and get your room. The key is waiting in your room. Room # 1 was very small and out dated. Room had a bad odor. Water temperature could not be regulated. Room # 2 was a tiny bit bigger than room 1 looked a little more updated. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this motel.

Decent place. Needs a little bit of an update, but overall not bad. I will say this without any hesitation; the beds are so comfortable. I slept so good while I was there. Happy travels!

The room is fairly small and quite old however, it is clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Nice mattresses and the room was quiet. Unfortunately, the bath towels were small and a bit threadbare. Otherwise decent family-owned place and good value for price.

We had a small, but lovely room. Appreciated the attention to detail and amenities like the microwave and small refrigerator. Very comfortable mattress and soft bed linens. Better value than chain hotels. I would stay there again!

The entrance to the lroperty was beautiful, nice office building and landscaping. Before we arrived, we got a phone call 2 hours before check-in time, saying our room was ready and we could go straight there without stopping at the office. Our room needed some updates, some paint touchup, but it was clean, simple and comfortable.

just so you know, we had four rooms for our group. this MOTEL (and be very sure, it is not an "inn", it is an old-school motel), they use SO much deodorizer in the room (what smell are they covering up???), that we literally could not sleep. it was horrible. and our clothes still smell of it. the TV did not work, either, in any of the rooms. the picture was pixelated, and jammed. it's cheap, and you get exactly what you pay for;

You have privacy and staff is very nice

While two full sized beds were tight for four adults, the location and price cinched this stay. The place was clean and well equipped. The kitchenette faucet dripped as well as the tub, otherwise, good upgraded space.

This was my second stay at Clarence Inn and I loved it. It's older, but very well kept and clean. The location is perfect and away from the 'busi-ness' and traffic of Transit Rd.

It felt like we were staying at a friends house. So personable and old school. Nothing modern but in the best way. Our housekeeper was amazing! She made the stay so wonderful.

The owner is an absolute lovely person who treats you with great care and respect.

It is an extended stay motel. You'll find some residents hanging out. Looks like they have done some updating. Its a noisy stay as the walls are thin and the rooms have a storm door that adds an extra bit if noise when closing. Seemed clean enough. Okay for a place to lay your head for the night...jusy "okay".

Room was very clean, quiet and very comfortable. TV and WiFi worked great. Place was warm...kitchen very handy.

The property is in very good condition, however the room smells very musty. The air conditioner set in the wall looks very dirty. Overall the place is pretty nice. It is hard however when check in is after 4pm when a persons flight arrives earlier in the day.

The Clarence Inn is well loved property. You can tell the owners take a great deal of pride in the inn and have worked to keep it updated. Everything was so clean and modern and it was very quiet.

Very quiet..

I picked this room because I saw stove in a picture, when i got the room there was nothing. Check-In time is 4-8pm, although the owner helped me check-in at 9:30pm, but a hassle to coordinate arrival time. Maybe just for sleep/shower on a budget but with a family, I would not stay here again,

This place is by no means your fancy dancy place, BUT the owner in the office was very insistent to call if any problems and the room was perfectly clean. And clean is good! Only comment is that the tub drained slow.

I loved staying here I will definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Diana was so easy to work with. She went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We had a very late check in and she made arrangements for it even though their normal check in hours are 4pm to 8 pm. The ONLY negative is that we could not get the wifi to connect to any of our phones.

Dianna was the best! She personally phoned me when my flight was delayed, to make check-in arrangements. The room was far more than I had expected, it was bigger as well as had a kitchenette, stocked with cooking utensils. The room was always kept clean and stocked during my stay. The area was quiet and clean, I highly recommend staying at the Clarence Inn to all that will be in the Bullaflo NY area. I do look forward to staying there again in a few months for another potential visit to the Buffalo, NY area.

The place has been partly updated but it’s old. Some things painted and remodeled rest chipping print and old furniture.

The room was not cleaned properly and the heater did not work well, it was freezingly cold at night.
