Would avoid at all costs.

It was the worst hotel. I checked in early went to a wedding. Went to my room about 12 am went to go in there were people in the room called front office gave me another room walked in it was dirty and smelled like urine walked out handed key in drop box. Never stayed put complaint into Expedia waiting to see if I get a refund. This place is disgusting 😡. Will never stay there ever.

This place was extremely dirty and nothing like the photos. The pictures appear to be heavily edited or AI-generated because the actual property looks completely different. The condition was so disappointing that I checked out and moved to another hotel.

It was horrible. They cancelled my reservation without any notice. They said they email me but they didn’t. Never book them again.

Nothing We got there at 3:30 and the room was not cleaned yet the owner said give us about 20 minutes. Well 30 minutes later it still wasn't done. So we went to go eat and came back and hour later, it wasn't done so we got a different room. That room was so was dirty. It had dirt and hair all over both beds. We requested a king room and got a double queen cause they don't have any king beds. Both bed had dirt on the sheets and hair. Floor was dirty and had bugs on it. I will not recommend this nasty place.

Never got to stay the 3 nights we booked, they overbooked and had nowhere for us to stay for 3 days.

The room was so spacious it was unreal the location you couldn't ask for anything more there was shopping next door, coffee shops it was somewhat quiet. The exterior is reminiscent of something that you would find in the deep Middle East or in Italy. It's not about like or dislike it's about what's right. It is sad to say that the property is generally run down both on the interior and exterior and the grounds badly need attending too, the pool was not open and the gazebo is rotting. The paint was peeling from the bathtub, there was mold on the wall and also on the ceiling. The Heat AC Vent had not been cleaned. There were electrical issues in the bath area specifically above the bath. Missing light bulbs. The water was hard to regulate and the hot water was so hot that my grandson was almost scorched. The windows were missing screens. The room was not cleaned properly. I think with a good deal of money to rehab the property this property would be a go-to destination for almost anyone.

False advertising! The facility didn't look anything like the pictures online! Also, the booking site said "No age restrictions" but when my 20 year old son arrived after a 2.5 hour trip, they wouldn't let him check in because he wasn't 21. The person at the desk was difficult to understand and was of no help to me or my son, just stating to call and speak to the manager in the morning.

Had booking then got there and said they were full. Had to go through booking something else and get a refund on this one.......

Room 124 was next to 10 never ending hours of non-stop yelling in room 125, yelling at each other, by adults and children, all through the night, might have been ten people in the room too. Management did nothing to rectify the situation. A man walked out of the room bare chested with a vodka bottle middle of winter drunk. Do not stay at this place. Smells gross and no end to the likely criminal activity on site.

The comforter had burn holes all over it. The hallway and room reaked of cigarette smoke and overall just dirty.

Did not stay. Rooms were filthy. Toilet backed up in the first room. The three rooms we were in all smelled badly of smoke yet were supposed to be non smoking. Desk person cancellwd our reservation. Said to call Expedia to get money returned.

Nothing really felt welcoming about the place. The bathroom walls were dirty. No shades over the light fixtures, just bulb hanging down. Neither my husband nor I would take a shower in that place. The bathroom towels were thin and flimsy. The bed at least was comfortable. The refrigerator came in handy. But nothing made us want to take a leisurely Sunday morning. We got up, got dressed and left. No one was at the desk to check us out so we just left the key. Don't feel it was worth the 200.00 we paid to stay there.

We were given a key to a room that was already in use, when we went back to the desk the worker simple said “oh haha have you the wrong key, when we got our room we found a filthy toilet hair in the tub and on the wall, a hole in the ground of the washroom, a hole on the wall in the room, a lamp that was very sketchy and seemed dangerous, so we unplugged it, the light in the middle of the room was filled with dead flys and there was a massive gap in between the door and wall that let a large amount of light through it was also a no smoking room that smelt awful with smoke, this was the worst stay I’ve ever had in any hotel/motel I don’t even think it should be an option to book on Expedia, the fact that I’m getting charged to stay in such a disgusting, unclean place is very upsetting

The location was easy to find. The people seemed friendly. The room smelled really bad. The TV wasn't working during the entire stay. The curtain wasn't wide enough to cover both ends of the window. Some lights were not working. The AC's air filter need to be replaced. The bathroom door do not close...it's breaking a part. The hinges have rusted away and the door is noisy. The bathtub has been painted over and over again but it has now worn out. The metal frame of the light has rusted away. The actual pictures of the room didn't match what we saw on the internet. It's surprising that Booking.com is still listing this place on its platform. It could be better with significant renovations. I have traveled to Africa and stayed in remote places but none was as bad as this one... officially the worst I have ever experienced.

Next had a filthy tub w/ black hair in it. Stain on sheet. No TV remote. No chair or other furniture except bed. Property nothing at all like pic. Trash outside room. TV abd bathroom mirror so smeared you couldn't see esp the mirror. No elec utlet in bathroom . I've stayed in much better $30 rooms. Parking is good and there is Wifi. Didn't see any bugs. Man who checked us in was prompt and pleasant There was a fridge and microwave.

I had accidentally left a dress shirt hanging in the closet with 3 hangers. They claimed they did not have them when i called. Positive they were there because i did not have them when i left! My fault, just don't leave anything, you'll never see it again.

There was no garbage cans, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no tissues, no radio, no charging stations. The heat didn't work. The TV kept searching for channels, but none were ever available. No directions. No clock. Microwave on the desk. Fridge door got stuck on the floor when trying to open. The top dresser drawer stuck, when you pulled on it, the second drawer fell off the tracks. The first be closest to the door squeaked as if used for more than sleeping. Worst experience we've ever had. Expedia is off our list to use for suggested places to stay,.

The room wasn’t ready and not only was it not ready, it was nothing like the pit tires or reviews. The curtains were molded, the bathroom wasn’t clean shower curtains were also molded. Front door was jacked up!

The people at the property weren’t very attentive to what guest wanted. They didn’t have a refrigerator a microwave. Nothing to be able to stay a few nights even a week at Best and every time you need a towel you sit around for 20 minutes waiting for him to get their crap together And I don’t even know if they try to clean your room or not who knows

Motel is rundown horrible smell of mold & mildew in the bathroom refrigerator didnt work when i asked to hqve my room changed they stated they didnt have anything available till the next day went to the fromt desk bout 11am they told me i had to wait until 3pm for a room change waitied to no availabliltyfor a room change checked out at 10am to no one at the front desk to give me a receipt or to voice my concerns to i would not recommend staying at this hotel

When we came back at 11 pm , there were two people in the bed , 2 big dogs and beer and food around the bed . We went to the front desk and they said that the hotel was full . We chose to leave . Hotels.com was quick to give us our money back .

Had a worst experience. Firstly , room was allocated and heater and microwave is not working and then they asked us to move to other room, which is worst than the first room , bad odour and room is not cleaned properly. Appreciate if you delist this hotel. Really disappointed.

Absolutely amazing

We found cockroach in the bath tub. No shower curtain. Dirty flooring. Dirty headboard. The fridge not working, no cable/plug. We felt like it's dangerous place to sleep.

Room was filthy,dead spiders in the shower,sinknwas grimey,towels werent clean. Room was not worth the 80 i paid honestly. We got locked out as well and there wasnt even anyone there to let us in. We had to go all the way home at 1 am and wait till morning to ask to be let in for our belongings

Hotel is a throw back to the good old days and is super cute. Room was clean and comfortable, could have used a chair in the room, also didn’t have a blow dryer ( will remember for next time). They are in the middle of remodeling but didn’t bother us. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Buffalo.

but i got a room with single bed, and we're 3 people how would we adjust on single bed? asked hotel reception, they said they received 1 bedroom booking request from expedia and told me that they have same prices for single room and double room, and he said there is no other room available. We had no other choice rather to sleep on floor by one of us. worst experience ever, i need my money refund asap

Do not book here. Arrived and place in very poor condition. They said they did not have my reservation nor did they have the apartment room at this site. Left but they charged my visa.

No breakfast unlike the website said. Toilet was broke, the mini fridge was disgusting, used bars of soap in the bathroom, dirty towels.

Room was advertised as king bed with jetted heart shaped tub…. For room I was given was a double queen went back up to desk and showed my reservation and stated jetted tub with king bed. The person checking me in said “ oh I don’t think we have those jetted tubs” I was like well it’s clearly advertised on the website so that’s false advertisement. The room was dirty, floors dirty, smelled gross, bathroom was disgusting I did not stay I left and was out $100+ for the one night stay that I didn’t even stay for was to disgusted

This property was awful there was no pillows or bathroom in our room when we checked in so we immediately checked out there was a giant crack in our window, there was dead bugs on the bed, burnt match sticks and holes in the wall, and the room was next to what seemed like a family living there for months

EXPEDIA published fake images of this property so they get more guests and they can make more commission. Hotel is nothing like those images. Hotel is actually not in livable condition. Broken windows, duck taped doors, blood stains on towels, paint peeling off of walls, huge unpainted patches, exposed cables on the floor...smells like something had died inside...we booked it for two day and we left the place, even EXPEDIA refused to refund us. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE BASED ON WHAT IS BEING ADVERTISED ON EXPEDIA.

I don't know what the two-star rating refers to when classifying hotels. Village Haven Inn was a one-star motel. The first room reeked of smoke; carpets and bedspreads were stained. We asked for another room. The second room had no tv (but did have a cable coming out of the wall as though a tv had been there); there was a board in the front window. When we went back to complain, the front desk staff did not see anything wrong with the state of the rooms. We were able to get almost a full refund from Hotels.com with a mix of credit card refund and OneKeyCash. We knew that a budget hotel wouldn't be in great shape, but we did not expect to see rooms in such bad shape.

We checked in around 9:45 pm because we had a funeral to attend first, the room they gave us had urine in the toilet, it smelled awful of cigarettes, the tub was broken, broken soap holder, nasty couch outside the door. I went and asked for another room, they gave us another room, no tv in the room and they didn't have one to put in the room, it has a cut up box in the window of the bathroom tas a curtain, everything is old in the room, broken, dented, chipped, wires hanging out, no plug outlet covers, the ac is so dirty and nasty looking we didn't want to turn it on. We went to eat and Niagara falls after we checked in so when we went to the room to see what it looked like and to go to bed it was almost 2am that's when we realized it had no TV and the condition of the room. They were sold out so they couldn't put us in another room or a TV to put in the room. We were exhausted so we did check for bed bugs and didn't see any so we did go to bed, 7am music blasting so loud you would think it's in our room. I have traveled so many places and this by far was the worst.

Horrific! That is the best word I can use to describe how awful this hotel is. Do not stay there. Bathroom window was open and impossible to close. There were three cable TV wires from the wall to the TV on the floor crossing the path to the bathroom. So when you get up in the middle of the night, you have to step over three cable cords or maybe trip over them and hit your head and old crooked toilet with a bad seat there was mold in the shower. They hadn’t cleaned the shower because the previous guest left a bar of soap and the rapper and the opened shampoo in the shower. The bed broke of the shape when I sat on it. Mold on the bathroom door. Do not stay here.

I am not one to leave reviews - but feel I must for this location. We had a room booked for 2 nights and while we were not expecting a 5 star establishment we thought it would do. When we arrived and checked in, took the room key and went to check out the room. There was a box of canned soup directly outside the door, as well as garbage. As soon as we were able to open the door we could not believe the state of the room. Never seen a dirtier motel room. Also, it appeared the TV was stolen as there was a place for it but no TV. Sticky stuff all over the “desk”, walls were filthy, bathroom was horrendous. We were in the room for 30 seconds (long enough to take some photos). Went back to the lobby and said there was no way we could stay in that room, staff says no other rooms available so we handed him the keys back and left. Cherry on top - they then tried to charge my credit card for the full rates. Luckily I suspected they would attempt this and had “frozen” my credit card so it wouldn’t go through. Steer clear of this place. I’m not sure how they haven’t been shut down.

Owner was friendly and helpful, however the units clearly haven’t been maintained. The decor is very outdated. The bedding and towels were clean everything else was not. Our first room had a broken window, broken AC unit and a very smelly fridge. We were given a better room but it still wasn’t great. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, it was a no smoking room. We would have left and stayed somewhere else but there were no vacancies anywhere!

Spider webs in bathroom. Bathroom sink cabinet had an old rotten towel in it and the cabinet was dirty beyond belief.

The hotel was not what it appeared as in photos and was run down and did not smell nice. The coffee pot had a coffee pod in it from previous guests and pool was empty/closed. It was quiet though, and we were not bothered during our stay. I feel from a hospitality standpoint that there was much to be desired. We weren’t checked on or asked if we needed anything, and at check in there wasn’t much conversation or cordiality.

It was a bad place to stay, the bathroom was so small your knees hit the wall when you sat on the toilet. The heater had rest all over it, the tile on the hot tube was cracked all over the room was way out dated, looked like it was the 70s. It was not worth 130 for one night, and there is no breakfast.

Worked or a place to lay your head for a night but no hair dryer, little help with directions to local activity and tv didn't work. No vending machines for late night snacks. No one at counter after a certain hour. Clean enough and quiet enough.

Bed was fine. Many other things in room were in need of repair or upgrade. Carpet was old and dirty.

Great cheap option outside of Darien lake however it’s very outta date and dirty

The sound of a rodent chew on plastic in the middle of the night, and the smoke alarm going of at 7 am is how I woke for 2 days.

This was the most dated and dirty hotel I have ever seen. You should be ashamed to offer this as an option.

The property is very outdated. I only recommend staying here if you are on a strict budget or a very short trip. There was no breakfast (even though it was advertised), the room smelled like smoke and there are things that need to be worked on or replaced.

The Staff was very nice but the room wasn’t very clean. There was someone else’s old sock in the room, burn holes in the sheets, dust, & it looks like mold was growing on the bathroom wall. It definitely wasn’t worth the $100 for the night. Not the worse place but definitely not the best.

The room was barely decently clean. The bathroom was one of the filthiest I have ever seen. Very visible dirt around toilet , tub and heaters. Mildew/ mold on shower/ tub tiles, dirty sink faucets. Shower handles fell off and inside was disgustingly dirty. It was nauseating to use the bathroom and I could not bring myself to even shower. It was so disgustingly filthy. Will not stay ever again.

The room was very nice and clean it had everything but a hair dryer. The down side no exhaust fan in bathroom and the bath room was very out dated. Will stay here again the price was great.

We were able to check in after 10:00 pm which was nice. The bathroom however was not very clean, the tub did not drain well and the hot water was leaking. We also were running low on toilet paper and instead of leaving one when they cleaned the room I had to go ask for one the next morning since we got back late from our daily adventures. We only were there for 2 nights and I probably would not stay at this hotel longer than that. It's nice if you just need a break from a road trip or just an over night stay.

Very clean room with a comfortable bed and chair to sit in. I enjoyed sitting outside in the evening in the chair provided. Quiet surroundings and friendly staff. I will be staying here again.
