    The room was very nice and I was greeted by a nice gentleman working at the front desk. He was very friendly and shared some great information. I found out the walls to the rooms were very thin we were trying to sleep in but could hear the family next to us very early in the morning.

    Around the pool wasn’t clean. Too much leaves. It didn’t look inviting. The smell of the room it was not good when we enter. I thinks it was because of the air conditioners. The other thing it was during the breakfast time, 30 minutes before breakfast ended the food was very limited (no eggs and coffee, and no water was serve at all ! - this is the first time I see this situation). Please, be clear that I am rating the property only, not the brand.

    The lady for breakfast today 5/24 was extremely rude and food was gone by 9:25 when we came done she said there's no more.the breakfast lady on 5/23 was very nice. The Ac was broken my first night. No one cleaned the room at all and I had to take out the trash myself both nights I was there.

    Housekeeping was also a problem — our room wasn’t cleaned at all while we were out, and we had to ask several times just to get fresh towels since no one ever came by. On top of that, the couch bed didn’t have sheets when we opened it, and the mattress itself was visibly dirty, which was honestly pretty off-putting. To make matters worse, the elevator broke on our last day and we almost got stuck inside, which was not a great way to end the stay.

    The stay was good but a bit disappointing compared to stays at other SpringHill Suites. The room was comfortable and mostly quiet. The breakfast was good but was not food allergy friendly. There was allergen information stating obvious information like there was eggs in scrambled eggs and milk in cheese but nothing on the muffins. The staff had no allergen information and no alternatives. The breakfast had a good variety of items but the choices were almost the same every day. Also they sometimes ran out of some items. The maid service only changed the towels when requested and didn’t change the sheets or make the beds during our stay. There was ample parking and the hotel was in a good location.

    We paid top dollar and would have been better off at Motel 6! Horrible trio for my family! If I am not reimbursed by SPRINGHILL or Marriott, this will have been my last ever time using either company! This place isn’t a staff problem, it’s a management/ owner problem! False advertising amenities it doesn’t have and poor shape of infrastructure! Just a shame to ruin someone’s trip and only care about that profit, profit that comes with return customers is what is important, this definitely wasn’t the case, no way someone would stay there with their family and ever return!

    Our stay at Springhill Suites was good. The hotel is a bit outdated but everything was in working order and we had no issues with our room. The breakfast included several hot options. If we are traveling through the area again I would stay here.

    I’d give this hotel zero stars of possible. The first problem is the building itself. Everything is old, dirty, stained, and molded. The interior rooms are so old the carpet feels musky and damp, the pull out bed had stains on the mattress and mold spots, and the tub was brown stained as well. There are no amenities at this property we could find, down to the pool area open but not heated or working. The location is equally awful as it’s next to some kind of speedway detract area that motorcycles or cars race all night long. The sound of the engines comes directly into your room - no sleep. Then the airplanes fly over and there is more noise. I would never stay here again or recommend unless you’re totally desperate.

    Their phones don’t work. We checked in and went straight to the hot tub. The hot tub didn’t work so I went to the front desk and told her that was the only reason we chose this hotel. I booked thru Expedia and they told me they would contact the hotel and the front desk person said she would approve the refund. Well that would work if they actually had working phones to answer when Expedia calls them.

    The property is VERY run down. Not up to date or nicely renovated and definitely needs it! The rooms were clean, but only double beds, not queen size. The TV is very old and small. The bathrooms has a very loud fan, the water pressure in the shower isn't great. The AC units are subpar. The couches were very worn and dirty. The carpets in the rooms were nasty. Needs a total renovation.

    The staff is pleasant. The rooms are adequate. However, when I requested a quiet room, I was told, "All our rooms are quiet." I had to change rooms after the first night for the remainder of my stay. Negative points: insufficient attention to detail at breakfast and a constant lack of hot water—only lukewarm. Our room wasn't cleaned during our three-night stay. The elevator carpet needs replacing.

However, the room was not cleaned during my four night stay and the AC was too loud and smelly to turn low at night. The location is not that great: over the bay from Tampa and 30 minutes from beaches.

    Elevator is broken.. front desk clerk mentioned it wasnt gonna be foxed for a couple months.. ac in the room faded in and out. Took a cold shower to get body temp lower to be able to sleep comfortably. Bed was wore out! Literally so soft it felt like it was folding in half. We needed close to the aipprt for a esrly morning flight with my todler dsughter.. as for proximity its perfect!

    I recently stayed at this hotel and while I really appreciated how kind and helpful the staff were throughout our visit, the overall condition of the property was disappointing. The elevator was out of service, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs, which was very inconvenient. The gym was out of order, the ice machine wasn't working, and the breakfast offered was extremely basic. Additionally, there were noticeable cleanliness issues, and the hotel felt worn down and in need of a refresh. It wasn’t chaotic or unmanageable, but it definitely didn’t meet the standards I would expect from a property associated with the Marriott family. It feels like a budget hotel where you more or less get what you pay for — nothing more, nothing less. If you're looking for something simple and don’t mind the lack of amenities or the outdated feel, it might work. Otherwise, I’d recommend considering

    Property was inconvenienced, elevator was not working. We received no help moving our luggages to the third floor. Room is small compare to other of the same branch. Also the room is very stuffy smell. Bathroom was so small with no curtains or door. So when we showered, the bathroom is wet from the bathtub.

    Hotel is just ok nothing spectacular. The room was nice and a decent size. The room keys wouldn’t work on the first try to enter the room, pool area or side entrances. We literally had to swipe the card several times for about a min to get back in or out the hotel and when I went to the front desk she said thats normal just keep swiping the card. The breakfast was not a big deal at all. The pool area is very small not so inviting and there were bugs eating us alive. Not to mention the ones floating around in the pool that I scooped out myself with the pool equipment. The jacuzzi was nice and hot but the jets didn’t work.

    However, the hallways and outside area remained trashy the entire time. Cans and side walk area flooded with trash. The elevator was down and it was not fixed. I wasn’t expecting a newly updated hotel, but I did expect it to at least be clean. Despite this, the staff was still very friendly and helpful. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t mark it a one star.

    The hotel left alot to be desired. The overall appearance of the hotel was very out dated. The elevators did not work. Climbing flights of stairs in July heat wasn't the best. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. It was notice able the furniture needed to be steam cleaned giving a grimy feeling to the entire room . Breakfast was disgusting. Powder eggs, rubbery waffles, half cooked breakfast sausages. Any perk I originally seen for staying here faded quickly.

    It was an okay hotel, the elevators did not work at all and we were not informed of this until we arrived at 10 at night after driving 16 hours. Then we were put in the room on the 2nd floor right beside the stairwell so there was quite a bit of noise, knowing EVERY guest would have to use the stairs it seems as though that would be the last room to be used but we booked several weeks ago. The room was very clean and comfortable, we loved that they had regular sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles attached to the shower wall at a convenient height. The breakfast was good Sunday however Monday had only one pot of severly watered down coffee and cold, soggy Bob Evans sandwiches. Monday the sausage was flavorless and the potatoes were undercooked. The employees were all super polite and helpful though. The pool and hot tub were okay, they could both have been cleaned better.

    Hotel staff was nice. There were numerous stains on couch and bed box spring . The neighbors were smoking weed and the smoke was coming into our room. The hotel itself needs upkeep. It is very old looking and repairs are needed. It is not up to the standards of other Springhill suites I have stayed in.

    Arrived I was a little off putt by the worker smoking outside in the front of the building… But that’s not necessarily a reflection on the establishment. I was shut down the hotel staff was nice, however, when I went to my room, it was very rundown. It had a stench. And the TV was no bigger than a 12 inch. I paid 120 something dollars for one night. This was a disappointment to say the least. The entire night in the room I kept waking up because I felt very uncomfortable. It was very icky feeling. The continental breakfast was not satisfactory to say the least. I checked out a day early and lost $110 for the second night. Also, the pullout couch looked like it was torn, and the carpet was not cleaned.

    Adequate accommodations for a night. Room was a good size, location felt safe and quiet. Pool was small and a little on the warm side but we had it to ourselves and we didn’t mind the temperature as another couple had the hot tub tied up. Both the room and the pool are about due for some updating. No complaints about cleanliness in the room except that the floor of the tub was dirty looking. Small but functional workout room, the treadmills worked and there was a selection of small weights with a bench. Can’t say if the elliptical machine worked or not. Breakfast was ok with a good selection of options from cereal, to donuts, to eggs and sausage and potatoes. The staff we came in contact with were all very nice. Overall a good stay and we would have no problem staying here again.

    We enjoyed staying here. Our room was big, the bed was comfortable and the free breakfast had a lot of good options. Unfortunately our room did smell a little bit like smoke as this came in through a vent in the bathroom, this was not a big deal for us as we just closed the door and left the bathroom fan on at times to air it out. We had also been offered to change rooms but had already unpacked.

    We stayed for four days for a conference and they smashed our window in their parking lot. No camera surveillance. This was annoying. The hotel is dated. Close to airport and a lot of fast food options around.

    We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise left out of Tampa. Very clean with helpful friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning was excellent.The location to the cruise port was very convenient and an easy drive. The only negative we had with the stay was that we were given a handicap room. We don't require a handicap room.. With this room comes a walk in shower for wheelchair access. The shower causes the water to flow out on the floor where there is a center drain in the middle of the bathroom floor that then becomes very wet and a slip hazzard.

    Very good service in particular where older woman that works the night shift she worked Friday Saturday and Sunday she single-handedly keeps that place going with her helpful attitude, but she was on her way to make sure that you don’t worry about anything .

    Neighbor next door screaming in the middle of the night and arguing with someone else in the room, saying bad words. Multiple ppl coming into the neighbors room shutting and throwing the door in the middle of the night. It didn’t seem safe. There is no control of whose coming into the rooms

    Basic hotel desperately in need of modernisation. Very convenient to St Pete Airport. Price was cheap and reflected amenities. Safe neighborhood. Rooms tired looking and drab. Carpets dusty. Beds were very comfortable. There are other options in the area for a little more money. Hotel is on the main road. All the staff were very nice.

    The room smelled terrible. I was told upon check in (checking process ok) I got the last room so couldn’t switch. I think it might have really bad mold/mildew. I travel a lot and have never had a room this bad. Maybe it flooded during the recent hurricane. Not sure but room 103 has issues!

    I read some reviews when I booked this hotel, and the ratings were decent. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and were in a hurry to check out the following day. We even considered eating the money and driving four hours home after a concert we attended, but we were exhausted from the drive up to St. Petersburg. When we got into our room, we both needed to shower. When I tell you the bathtub was disgusting, that’s an understatement. The shower head was covered in mold. The tub was so gross I didn’t want my bare feet standing in it—next, the toilet. I’m sure you can tell what is in the bowl. Disgusting. The couch has stains; the sink hasn’t been cleaned in months. The microwave had the nastiest smell, like leaving cooked ramen for three days. The bed was decent, but I used my blanket and pillow because if the rest of the room weren’t bad enough, I wouldn’t lay my head on their pillows and use their blanket. Overall, I would never stay here again. It is entirely run down and isn’t worth the $200 I paid for one night.
