Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St Petersburg Clearwater

We had a wonderful stay overall. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, we did experience a bug bite and found a small black bug in our bed. I took a picture and reported it to the front desk so they could look into the issue. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. Parking was convenient and easy to access, which made our trip even more enjoyable.

When we checked in and when we left they were unable to provide any carts to help with luggage. Also. The air conditioner in the room was obviously leaking because the carpet was wet. Other wise, the stay was good. Clean and staff were friendly.

Great place easy location

Cons: the AC leaked, we found 2 cockroaches (one in room and one in the hallway), and there was a weird smell in the room (possibly from the leaky AC). The room looked clean otherwise. Pros: the staff was EXTREMELY helpful. They sent in a maintenance request for the AC unit, sprayed the roach in the hallway, and were great at check in. We kept getting delayed and ended up checking in close to midnight but everyone was still super friendly. Breakfast was solid too.

Triple C! Clean room, comfy bed & convenient location to airport. Breakfast bar was my favorite part. Service/staff was excellent throughout.

The front counter staff were amazing. So friendly. Our flight was later in the evening. They allowed us a later check out and offered to hang on to our luggage so we could walk around the area to kill some time. Very helpful and we appreciated it so much.

They are in the process of updating everything and it’s gonna be very nice when that’s complete. The staff is great and that made it a great stay! Our room was updated. You never go wrong with a Marriott bed in the Marriott pillows always counts for a good night. Sleep the only way to enjoy your vacation is getting a good nights rest. From the front desk to the maids, everyone was so nice and friendly and happy.

Staff didn’t clean our room so we had to go get clean towels.

Crystal was extremely helpful with accommodating our needs when the hotel never received our reservations.

I love it at Fairfield. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. I almost always end up in MY same room. The only MINOR thing about Fairfield is, I rather hard floors to carpet but the carpet is always clean!

when I arrived I was informed that the elevators were not working and I had no first floor room/ someone should have contacted me so I could find another hotel. The desk clerk called the courtyard hotel and tried to make a reservation but only made it for one day and when I arrive at courtyard, they couldn't find my reservation which was just made and i had an e mail. though

The front desk staff, Denise was excellent. Unfortunately, the bathrooms in each of the rooms were dirty and not well kept. The showers had literal dirt in them. The elevator was down, causing us to haul our luggage up the stairs, and the air conditioner in one of the rooms did not work. We did document everything at the front desk, but it was explained we would need to go through the site we booked with to potentially get some sort of refund.

(Moho, Dogs and cats) We decided to stay there for the rest of the time because they were kind enough to move us to level 3, where there is no humidity (mojo). But we try to avoid being in the hotel as much as possible because we keep encountering dogs in the elevators and in the reception area. We asked why they advertise online that they don't accept pets, since we had seen 3 dogs, and their response was that they were service dogs. We are 100% sure they were not service dogs

We arrived at the hotel at night, we really liked the woman at the check-in desk, she was very professional and friendly, it is very rare to find such check-in desk staff in US hotels, most of them are rude and unprofessional.

The room itself was fine, but very small, and the bathroom and overall interior were just “okay.” Definitely feels more like a basic 2–3-star property rather than a typical Marriott experience. The place could really benefit from better maintenance, updated ambience, and improved elevation/overall appearance. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Not a bad stay, but definitely room for improvement. I doubt I stay again unless I trapped into low price

The Breakfast was good. It was above average for a Hotel overnight stay. The elevator/ Lift was inoperational. The Air Conditioner in room leaked far too much condensation onto the carpet turning it into a wet puddle. They needed repairs.

Overall, it was a good stay. Helpful and nice staff. Breakfast was ok. No real complaints. My stay was worth the price for it. Sadly, the elevator stopped working about halfway thru my stay. The outside pool was intact and working. The gym was fine. Not a huge room but not a little box either.

Property very run down for a Fairfield. Rusty door hinges, peeling wallpaper, plugged drain in tub, grassy area around pool not mowed or maintained. Breakfast was so-so. Access to hotel parking lot difficult/confusing.

The staff is professional, respectful and kind. Everything was in good condition and clean. Breakfast was excellent. A really good deal!

The hotel was conveniently located to the airport and restaurants. The grounds were very pretty; we greatly enjoyed the pool and the sitting area around the fire pit. The breakfast was very good, the beds and bedding were comfortable and everything was very clean. They even left a little goody bag and hand written card on our door! We will definitely stay again, next time we are in the area.

The facility is NEAT, CLEAN, and the staff are very friendly. Although they are still making repairs from Hurricane Helene, they have done an exceptional job at keeping the place in order. Breakfast was great! Late check out was allowed due to late arrival.

A bit outdated, close to the airport, my room faced the back so no traffic noise. Check-in was quick, very nice staff member at the front desk. Clean room and bathroom, both could be a little more updated, but work very well for a night. Overall experience was good.

Clean, quiet, nice friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also well stocked and had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, egg souffle, cereal, juice, fruit, oatmeal, waffle and variety of bread. Good spread, hot and fresh! Great choice! Will definitely stay there again.

The first room we were allocated was next to a noisy ice machine the guy at reception swapped the room out it did also smell a little musty overall it a good stop for travellers friendly helpful staff the build is being renovated but with all American hotles they are dated but clean well located and breakfast fine

TV inside the room was a little small in compared to other 3 star hotels.

The front desk receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and the little bag of snacks and card were a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and the area felt safe. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Clearwater area.

The hotel was spotless and the staff was extremely nice and helpful if we had questions. The room was immaculate and the housekeeping staff ensured we had enough towels and even gave us a couple extra! I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We found a used band-aid next to the bed. The room had a very particular, unpleasant smell. The facilities are old, which makes it look dirty. We could hear the footsteps and voices of the people in the room above. Definitely not coming back.

The stay for Marriot standards could have been better. The problem with no clean towels everyday is not my cup of tea if it is Fairfield. Cleaning every two days thats if youve let them know. Guess not all Marriots are aquired to , I guess.

Room smell mildew. Bathroom is in unclean condition and with lots of rusty and mildew on the tile grout and base of the tub. Carpet was sticky . Photos of this hotel in the ad are when the hotel was renovated years ago and not accurately at all! Breakfast was just plain and the meat rubbery and with bad tasting. For this price and for Marriott affiliated place you expect much much better. Will never stay here again.

I was by myself with a 10 month old baby with a large suitcase and stroller. The staff were very helpful in helping me get my things into the motel, which I appreciate very very much under the circumstances.Yay

Very nice . Yes the hotel is a bit dated. Room was clean and comfortable. We did not live in the room but we spent a week there. Price was right. 13 miles to Clearwater Beach. All dinner options with in 11 miles . Jo who worked the front desk was awesome. Breakfast was decent. Coffee and evening snacks available for guests. Will stay here again. Price was good . Only complaint was bed did squeak a bit.

I little limited breakfast

I remember when this was a new hotel it is dated now ready for some renovations. It was clean we did not have any interactions with staff only the front desk person who was very nice and friendly. If you looking for a few night stay with the basics I would say this could be the place.

The property was dirty clearly had water damage to the furniture and the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling.

We asked for a wakeup call for 5:00am and the phone wrang at 10:40pm and again at 11:00pm. Continued loud noise from above unit till early morning (sounded like furniture being moved). No airport shuttle & breakfast too late for early flights.

The only thing about my stay was the breakfast, I'm not real sure why it was so different than other times I had eggs but they tasted funny in my opinion. For the price of my stay everything was perfect.

It was fine. The AC was leaking so the floor was wet which made me feel like the room was moldy. But it is a room and that's it - nothing fancy, nothing else wrong. It is what it is.

This place was nice. The location wasn’t very convenient, as I was mainly traveling back and forth to a different area of Clearwater. But overall the stay was nice. Hotel was clean. Pool was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Pool was nice. Breakfast was a typical breakfast: fruit, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, oatmeal with toppings. It was a good breakfast option and they have long hours (7am-10am). Checkout isn't until noon so that's also nice.

The staff members are extremely nice and helpful. The lobby and breakfast areas are clean. Our room was not. There was mold/mildew in the shower. The tv console had water damage on the bottom half and had mold. The staff are gems. Other than that I’d pass.

Overall - good place to stay. Satisfied. Improvements could be continental breakfast choices and replacing the TVs as ours didn’t work well and remote had a lot of lag time.

There was mold in the shower, there was dust on lamps, there weren't enough towels and pillows (only 3 pillows for each bed and 3 towels; the room holds up to 4 people). The breakfast was underwhelming. They ran out of some of the food halfway through the 3 hour time frame. The front desk people were friendly.
