Holiday Inn Express Clermont by IHG

The location was perfect. There were restaurants, gas station, Walmart and drug store in the area just to name a few places. And it was right off of the highway. The staff was nice and friendly and they made us feel welcomed. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice with many options. I do recommend this place. No complaint.

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Front desk was very accommodating. We checked in a little before 3, which was very kind as it helped in giving us a little more time to get ready before attending an event. We checked out early the next day. The breakfast buffet was very good....a good variety and the food was good. The cost was a little higher than I wanted, but convenience to location was needed.

The morning breakfast was excellent with a variety of items to choose from.

Breakfast was excellent! Very fresh. And morning staff friendly & helpful. We stayed for a week and met staff around the clock. The only issue was the afternoon/evening gal who kept hiding in the back and we had to whistle for her to come out to provide us with the pool towels… etc. A quick 5 min walk to an excellent oyster bar down the road!

The two queen bed suite we had was clean but dated. The carpet seemed a bit dingy and the sleeper couch had dirty stains on the arm rests. The photos on the wall had water stains on them which means moisture problem and likely mold. The beds were very firm leading to broken sleep throughout the night. Breakfast was good and food was hot and fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a decent place to stay.

A very cute downtown area near the lake had several shops open, even on Sunday morning. There was a small farmers market and we grabbed a Greta brunch at Pepe’s. The night shift hotel clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessities. We will stay here again if we return to the area

Great hotel but could use a little more space in handicap room, (room 215) person who is non ambulatory had some difficulty moving around in the wheelchair within the room and turning around was difficult

The staff are amazing. They go above and beyond. I will stay here again. Close to shops and restaurants. The room smelled like it was older. Probably could use some new carpets and curtains. Overall it is a great place to rest your head

Over all the room was great, handicap accessible good also, but for this room it has been somewhat difficult to move the motorized wheel chair around in the room, my husband is a paraplegic so he is not ambulatory, then you have luggage in the way to contend with and moving around it

Always a pleasant stay

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was wonderful. The continental breakfast was fresh and hot. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that there was no electric outlet in the bathroom. Not one. This made it inconvenient to put makeup on, use a blow dryer, charge your shaver, etc. There were mirrors in the room, but the lighting was too dim to do this.

Ice maker was out the first couple of days into our stay but was repaired and running when we left. Not such a big deal but there was ice machine on each floor that were out of order. Over all the stay was pleasant especially the breakfast bar it was amazing and the ladies that worked it were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was real close to the art center and good restaurants. Very convenient for shopping and other things including complementary forgotten first class items like toothpaste and others of the sort. The areas surrounding it were nice. Our stay here definitely hit every thing on or search. Definitely recommend this place.

Always a great stay

Hotel was in a good location, but everytime you went in or out, someone was smoking Marijuana out front and you had to walk through it. Not a great breakfast, few choices. The first morning, some guy came in the room when my teenage son was there, he said i requested a screw on the bathroon fan to be replaced, he did something in the bathroom and left. I asked the front desk as i never requested anything and who this guy was,and why he would enter a room with a minor in there. Staff had no knowledge of this guy entering the room, or who he even was. Very concerning, and the gal at the front desk could only say she was sorry, but really didn’t care and never even checked into this.

Amazing all around

Floors did not work. Electrical outlets were all loose so did not charge effectively. Hallways were hot and humid. Fresh towels were damp. Bathtub did not drain properly so had to remove stopper. TV sound was sporadic with a lot of lagging.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were even offered cookies upon our arrival. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and all was updated beyond what we expected. The hot breakfast was plentiful so we were surprised that the price point wasn’t higher! Would definitely stay again.

We’re riding bikes across Florida on the C to C trail and the property was close to our route. Comfortable and a good breakfast.

Our room needed a good vacuuming. The bath tub did not drain properly. The room was smaller in size for the amount of dollars they were asking for.

The only negative is checkout time is 11 and the staff starts at 9 knocking on the doors trying to get you out so they can clean it. Other than that it.was great

The hotel was good and staff were great. But the pool was not open. That was one of the reasons we picked that Holiday Inn . Also, used the soda machine with my credit card and got nothing. Went to front desk and was told that the machine never gets filled up and it is not theirs. Belongs to Coca Cola and I would have to call them. Call the number and it just gues back to the same thing, no one answers and can’t leave a message. Then I get a message about fraud activity on my card and my credit card was blocked. Great news when you are on vacation. I think the hotel should be responsible for any machines in the building.

Had my reservation under a different name than what was booked they said it was expedias fault yet the correct name was listed there. The fronter counter person was nice but clueless.

Beautiful city to visit. We had bikes for the West Orange Trail and they allowed us to bring them into the elevator to store them in our room. The pickleball courts a few miles away are awesome.

Wonderful art work and accommodations were very attractive. The. Real fast was outstanding. The only issue was the mini fridge would cycle every few hours and make a loud humming noise for about 5 min all through the night. I did let the front desk know in the morning.

How everytime we went out they will clean our room and give us clean towels, i loved how it had Dove shampoo, Conditioner, hand wash, body lotion only thing was the a/c didnt get as cold.

Stay was very pleasant. The only thing was them coming to clean the room on the morning of checkout at 9am.

What I saw was the elevator door getting stuck, breakfasts sometimes you found something sometimes you didn't and I had to ask for the body wash I didn't have much time to see more I was just going to sleep

I can't say enough about how friendly EVERY person was at this hotel. I honestly could not believe it. Every person acknowledged us at any time, at breakfast, in the halls, coming off the elevator. The room was nice; everything worked and their were lots of outlets for chargers. Pool was quiet and clean. Now for the hot breakfast... there was bacon, potatoes, turkey sausage, cheese omelets, egg white omelets with peppers, a pancake machine that makes two fresh pancakes in 2 minutes, bagels, toast, flaky cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fruit, muffins, oatmeal, cold cereal, milk, juices, coffee and tea. This was probably the best hot breakfast of any hotel we've stayed at. The kitchen and dining area was very clean too. Convenient access on and off Rt 27, about a quarter mile from Highway 50 in Clermont. Shopping, restaurants, movie theater, and plennty of fast food places within 2 miles. Oh I almost forgot about the pillows. Each pillow case is labeld with "firm" or soft". I think we had 8 pillows for two beds. Our family will be staying here again!. 10 out of 10 stars!

OK, plenty of parking but not much within walking distance, hotel a bit tired and dated and couldn’t supply a few toiletries despite their notice saying they were available. No nearby eating options, breakfast good.

My Kudos go to the breakfast turkey sausage being offered for a "non" pork person; and egg white veggie omelets. They were good. I also had the scrambled eggs which were good as well.
