Property was very clean

First room was absolutely filthy and disgusting had to be asked to be moved. While waiting on the completion of the room at the front desk and my daughter sitting in new room they gave another guest the same room, resulting in someone walking in on my daughter. I have asked for 2 days now to speak to the property manager with zero response just delay after delay. Jordan the manager needs to do better for her hotel guests.

However, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner were nowhere to be found in the room when we checked in. In addition, housekeeping opened the door and attempted to enter the room while we were still inside getting ready to check out. I’m curious if there are procedures in place to ensure housekeeping confirms with the front desk that a guest has fully checked out before entering the room, especially since it was not yet checkout time. This was the first time I’ve experienced something like this.

The breakfast has a lot of variety; the coffee is pretty good. Staff are always very friendly.

The room was very clean and taken care of for my 3 day stay. The breakfast is top notch and one of the main reasons I stay at this hotel. Also, the front desk staff are very pleasant.

This is a good hotel if you planning on staying close to Albany or Saratoga Springs. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Their staff are friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping banged on my door at 9:45 am & asked if I wanted service. Since I was awaken & had to get up to go to the door, I advised the maid & the supervisor with her that the bathroom soap dispenser on the sink was empty. The supervisor said she would have it replaced right away. She never did. A day later - still no replacement.

The hotel rooms are nice and clean. The elevators were easily accessible and quick to arrive. There was breakfast offered in the morning and a fun indoor pool. The location was great.

The hot tub jets did not bubble up. They only recirculated the water. The breakfast could have been better. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Very pleased with our stay. The facility was close to everything, staff was super helpful and polite, the room was adequate, and amenities met our needs. Will look to stay here again next time I’m in the area.

EXCEPT THE HOT TUB. I specifically wanted a place with a hot tub and there were no propulsion jets working. I am a blue collar worker and was looking forward to the therapeutic benefits from a pool and hot tub mix. It was a let down. Plain and simple. A major one. I counted on La Quinta to have their advertised product working and they get an “F” Other than the hot tub the place is a homerun. In every way.

AC unit was a bit loud. The breakfast was ok. Our room had a clogged bathtub but the staff quickly gave us another room and even a discount, which was very nice. I would definitely come back again.

The hotel is in a good location. It was a nice place to stay as a stopover. And it was clean.

Upon entering the room, there was a strong mildew smell that immediately made the space feel unclean and uncomfortable. It was also clear the room had not been properly serviced prior to our arrival. The bathroom was not clean, with visible urine stains at the base of the toilet, and the trash had not been emptied. The bedding also had an unpleasant odor, which made it difficult to feel comfortable using it during our stay. In addition to the cleanliness issues, there were several maintenance problems that significantly impacted our comfort. The in-room phone did not work at all, so I had to use my personal cell phone to contact the front desk for assistance. The heating system was also malfunctioning—it would briefly produce heat and then switch back to cold air after only a few minutes, making it very difficult to stay warm, especially at night. Because of this, I ended up sleeping in my husband’s hoodie each night and avoided using the blankets due to their smell. There were also concerns with billing. My credit card was charged twice, including an unexpected charge in the middle of the night that triggered a fraud alert on my account. This added unnecessary stress to an already uncomfortable stay. This hotel was really clean and well kept for the most part. There were a few issues. The sheets were poorly put on the beds, one was put on upside down and didn’t stay on well, the other was not fully put on and was all wrinkled. The one that was put on upside down created a “pocket” that caught my foot when I was getting out of bed and I almost fell. The spa was warm, but the jets didn’t turn on so it was like sitting in a bathtub. Overall the hotel was pretty nice but it would have been nicer if attention was paid to details.

The room was clean. I loved the black out curtains !! Breakfast was a combination of both Hot and Cold. We had the eggs, which weren't very warm. They were cold by the time we finished them. The breakfast staff was very pleasant.

Hotel was nice. Parents who would rather drink than monitor their 12-16 your old kids ruined the trip. Having a kid bang on our room door scaring and waking up my children is not ideal. Older kids running around in the halls and the room above is made sleeping difficult. Staff didn’t seem to care.

Very clean hotel! Great price. Big room. Hot shower. Good breakfast. Wish I could speak to the architects before they design a room! You have to reach around the glass wall to get to the shower handle. You turn it on and get sprayed hot or cold before you get in. Handle should be on the opposite side. Also as is the case in most hotels they have an aversion for hooks to dry more than one towel! Minor complaints. Overall a great place to stay and very convenient.

I ended up needing a quick room for one night. Very convenient. Saw a little hair on the wall from a previous guest but it was when we were leaving. Could of been worst....ive definitely seen some horrific hotels lol. Id still make it my go to when im in the area. Just as long as housekeeping does a better job cleaning the bathroom countertops. And its in a great location! Not too far from ANYTHING! It was 11pm and we went out to buffalo wild wings! And the staff was super friendly! We went out to breakfast so I don't know how the breakfast was but I will be back!

The TV is also not very user friendly, and was quite slow when attempting to turn the channels or get to the guide. The beds were comfortable and appeared clean until we discovered the towel and the ants.

We got a phone stuck between the bed frame and the wall and they told us there was nothing they could do. I asked for a late check out so we could figure it out on our own and they said no….

For context, we come 3–4 times a year to visit family. We know it’s La Quinta, not a luxury resort, and we’ve always been fine with that. Clean, quiet, functional—that’s the bar. It used to clear it. Not this time. The hotel was overrun by a youth sports team. Think unsupervised kids sprinting through hallways, trash and food everywhere, and constant noise. Staff presence? Nowhere to be found. A real “family-friendly chaos” vibe. ** I have two boys so I mean that sincerely ** Then the room. First one: broken TV, dirty bathroom, and “free” Wi-Fi that now requires an account. Second room: same broken TV. Third room: finally semi-clean, TV briefly functional. Front desk mentioned they’d switched to Spectrum—makes sense. We got little sleep thanks to the hallway Olympics, and by morning, the TV had stopped working again. At this point, expectations are exceptionally low. The free breakfast wasn't bad but I should have eaten it in my room (see above). That's on me. La Quinta, be better. - Fix the elevator (a year is a long “temporary” outage) - Deep clean the bathrooms—they’re unacceptable - Address the Spectrum issues—this change clearly isn’t working

My check in was the worst experience I ever had checking in to a hotel. The receptionist was not so friendly to say the least. She couldn’t fine my name in the system so she tells me my booking never went through. I’m not going to call someone racist but that’s the vibe I got from her. She insisted I was not on the check in list. After showing her my payment to the hotel still says she doesn’t see my name. I told her I have a confirmation number that I was giving by another employee when I made the reservation she stats that she can go by that. I had to get a little stern with her so she finally had no choice put to put in my confirmation number and guess all of a sudden she found me in the system. I should’ve asked for my money back but my daughter had a volleyball tournament in the area. Never again

The main building doors do not lock and the room doors do not lock appropriately. The room was not clean, the hallways smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana. People are actively smoking throughout the building hallways, some staff. It is obvious that this establishment is poorly managed. Photos and recordings were sent to corporate, I ended my stay 1 day in related to safety issues, poor services (WiFi) and the corporate team did refund and support concerns.

Glad we only stayed one night. We wanted to enjoy the hot tub but it was occupied by at least 7 small kids screaming yelling and splashing water. Plus the water was warm to say the least. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was a joke. Breakfast in the morning was okay but you couldn't sit and enjoy it cause once again lots of screaming kids running wild. Staff didn't seem to care.

There was blood on the bathroom door. Looked like someone had a cut on their finger or something and closed or maybe opened the door. Rest of the room was clean and decent but those should be the cleanest areas.

Initially the room appeared to be clean; however, I dropped my remote on the floor and when I knelt down to pick it up I noticed housekeeping hadn’t cleaned up after previous guests. There was an empty white claw can under one bed, and there were two empty water bottles, in addition to plastic wrappers under the other bed. We were also not notified the pool is currently closed for renovations.

The breakfast is okay, somewhat limited and things weren’t always stocked. The coffee is very good for a hotel. Hotel room floor was dirty. Staff is hit or miss - I booked the reservation on Hotels.com and the girl who checked us in told me that the virtual number with Expedia wasn’t working and that she would need my credit card and that I might get charged the $350 for my stay twice. She acted like this was not a big deal and said that I could just dispute it with my credit card company. I’m assuming that she just didn’t know what she was talking about and that my credit card was just put on file in case of incidentals, but she kept saying they needed a card for the payment and didn’t seem to understand that I had paid for this room months ago. After I complained on hotels.com, the assistant general manager quickly reached out but after I explained my issue, I never received a response. The young man who checked us out the morning of 12/26 is fantastic though! He understood our frustration and printed out a receipt and went over the charges with us and assured us that we would not be charged anything beyond what was initially paid. Without his excellent customer service, we wouldn’t even think of returning to this location.

The property is new and clean. The snack bar was disappointing. Just a bunch of junk food. They put me near the ice machine humming in the hallway. This is otherwise a very quiet location back off the highway. I do recommend it for convenience. Lots of restaurants nearby including the fish fry pace.

We arrived alittle before check in and and was given our room right away. The front desk employee was very friendly. The heat in the room was not working and the manager came right up to the room to check. Moved us to a room with heat. Excellent customer service.

Overall hotel was updated and clean. Minor things dusty air conditioner, dirty bathroom tub wall, cold pool and hot tub heat not working. For the price it was very good. Breakfast was decent.

The staff was very accommodating and the property was very nice. The side chair in the room was terrible (uncomfortable-would have preferred a recliner or something with a footstool), but eveything else was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

The property looks great and convenient. But the rooms need better maintenance. The beds and pillows were not cleaned or changed. Could see chip crumbs on the bed.

Room smelled. Nice glass shower but had mold. Sink had a leak. Subpar breakfast. Too soft mattress. Pilled sheets, which means they are not cotton. No car charger. Why don’t hotels ever have enough towel rods or hooks to dry towels??? It makes it hard to be eco friendly because nobody wants to reuse a soaking wet towel. Broken side door. Overall the property felt safe.

When this property was built it was nice. It has not been maintained and it is very dirty. There is also noticeable damage to tile floors, dents in the walls crooked toilet seats and even a broken sprinkler outside. The staff is nice but seemed pretty overwhelmed and not particularly proactive.

Convenient location

The young woman that checked us in was excellent! It is a newer hotel and it's in real good condition. We sat in the lobby area for a couple of hours watching football and it was very comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was pretty quiet, so no problems sleeping. The Continental breakfast was your normal, no frills, breakfast. Even though there weren't many people eating, and it was about the middle of their breakfast time, the food items were pretty picked over. If we were coming back to this area we would not have a problem staying here again.

1. Ice machine was close to room, but was out of order. Nit ixed in the 3 days I was there. 2. The exit door going up n down the stairs need their sliding stops adjusted (they don't work). People wrre coming in and out at all hours - door was CONSTANTLY SLAMMING and shaking my room (#201). Woke me up at least 6-8 times. :-( Not a good experience with comfort. Amanda and staff were very considerate and helpful. :-)

Stayed for one night and it was fine. Good breakfast. Not smart TVs in the room. Cardio machines were not working in the fitness room.

Overall we had a great stay, clean, quiet, great complimentary breakfast (hot and cold). Only issue was only one elevator. 2nd elevator broken. We were there all weekend and never fixed. We were on 4 th floor and the hotel was very full - so waiting for the elevator at rush times was inconvenient! I would stay again just hope for 2 elevators the next time.

The bed and bedding were so comfortable. That’s so important to me when I’m staying in a hotel. The room was in very good shape except for some mildew in the tub and the toilet paper holder kept falling off the wall. Other than those small issues everything was great.

The staff were very knowledgeable; (they explained they couldn't take my AARP for a discount; I had to use it while I was booking our room. Also explained why they charged for our daughter, who is 16, again had to show when booking, everyone had a smile Our daughter & her cousin enjoyed the hot tub. It was easy to get to Saratoga Performing Arts Center and good place to grab food or do some shopping.

I was pleasantly surprised as I have stayed at LaQunita’s in the past and it’s been horrible. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Stay very kind. Location convenient to SPAC - 20 min drive. Only negative was a little bit of mold in the shower.

They called at 6:30am because a room 2 floors down had water leaking in the bathroom. Lost my key room and the front desk didn’t ask for any id to confirm identity and that was very concerning for safety

1. The bathroom smelled like sewer. 2. The room was impregnated with fabreeze (most likely because of the sewer smel) 3. The tv was not working. The staff had to come tonight room to set it up. 4. The automated texting gave us the wrong time for the breakfast schedule. We got there too late. When I showed the front desk, they just shrugged it off and said the text message was wrong.

Our overall stay was relatively basic and clean for the most part . I will however never book through Expedia again. As I was charged astronomical third party fees . We went to Saratoga for a concert . We are older women and I expected to be treated as such . Maybe that’s a compliment . My suggestion is that the CEO needs to pop in and catch what staff you do have doing something right . I believe they are doing their best with what little staff they have to work . And take care of the outside as well as the inside with both kept in mind . Had I pulled in the back and saw the hornet nests I would have never stayed . Breakfast needs to go until 9:30-10:00 am it’s not accommodating to all guests. Other than those fixable items we enjoyed our stay and had fun !

The location is ideal as many stores restaurants and conveniences are within driving distance. A good place to unwind after a long day.

Just an ok hotel - no gluten free breakfast options, they said they had GF waffle batter but did not have a dedicated GF waffle maker - slipped in shower reaching for towel causing bruise to foot and shin - very little interaction from management to customers- housekeeping staff was very interactive and friendly

I reserved an accessible room but they did not have it. The front desk was very nice but gave us a room where the tub was mildewed. The safety lock was broken. We were moved to a second room I. Which had broken bathroom fixtures. I did not go back to change rooms again. House keeping never came the second day and when they came the next day the beds were super lumpy. The foodservice people were pretty good and the front desk polite but unless a company supports its staff they will get bad reviews.

It is a great newer hotel, reasonably priced and convenient for our needs. The room was large with couch and seating area and 2 televisions. The televisions are a little quirky as they are web based. The hot tub was not warm and the pool was murky and uninviting. The morning breakfast is typical of most mid priced hotels, some form of eggs, waffles,, cereal, etc. Overall, I will stay here again.

It was a pleasant stay. Have stayed there many times. Two things I want to shares-to bring to your attention-the light in the hallway was visible around the room door and the toilet paper kept falling of the roll holder. Other than that all was good. Thank you

Hitting and pool for the whole 7 days were not working. Breakfast was either out of food or cold and one day they didn’t have plates

Smelled like sewer really bad the whole time. Told staff and they didn’t do anything about it. Floors were nasty and slippery.

What I didn't like - The toilet had rust stains (brown) at the bottom of the bowl (very off putting). There was a large yellow/brown stain in the middle of the rug (also off putting). I also used the pool facilities. The main pool was so filthy you couldn't see the bottom. Tried the hot tub. It was also very dirty and although there were bubbles, the water was cold. Hope they get it fixed. I'd like to stay there again.

From the day i check in, the person was outstanding and very professional. Everything was very clean and everyone treated me right and like family. When i checked out this morning it was nice and quick. I Thank you for everything, i will be coming back..

I came here for a couple get away. I came here specifically for the hot tub for the "hot tub" to not even be hot! It was very cold. Me and my husband brought our laptops and couldn't even get a wifi connection. My husband brought this to the attention of the front desk and was told "I highly doubt you aren't getting wifi in your room". Terrible service! I couldn't even use the hot tub that I came here specifically to use.

Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Nice breakfast, pool, and snack store.There's also a great Japanese restaurant, Modu Sushi, right next door, making dining after a long drive quite easy.

Stayed for a quick overnight while in town for a tournament. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub looked like they could use some attention as the water was cloudy but it didn’t stop the kids from swimming Would stay again.

Breakfast was cold and the same thing each day. Pillows need to be replaced. Good location and pool area.

Funky smell from the air conditioning, food found on chairs. Bed was comfy l,shower was hot, breakfast was good. Only stayed for one night.

Room needs work. Bathroom was dirty. Shower curtain rod falling out of wall. Toilet seat broken. Bes closest to window sags very bad in the middle. Hurt badly when i woke up.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi. The gentleman that was at the front desk was very pleasant. Unfortunately he was finishing up his last week working there.

We recently held a company meeting here, and I cannot say enough about how amazing our experience was. From the start, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us — always with a smile, no matter how many requests we had! The rooms were immaculately clean, honestly comparable to a 4-star hotel. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious hot breakfast, and every interaction with the team was marked by kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The price point is well below what it should be for the level of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail they provide. I’m so glad I convinced the other three attendees from out of town to stay here as well — they were equally impressed. If I ever find myself in Upstate New York again, this will absolutely be where I stay. Highly, highly recommend!

The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious

Quiet location maybe 20mins drive to Saratoga Springs. Reasonable rooms and rates. Good front desk service. A bit dated but furnishings in good shape. Basic breakfast fare. Short driving distances to restaurants and shopping.

Easiest check-in I've ever experienced, slept very comfortably

There is actual dried poop on the floor in my bathroom - two dried smears. When I called the front desk, I was told by Ethan that housekeeping left at 3 and no one could clean it.

My go to when I am in Clifton Park for business. Large room to work and rest. Convenient to restaurants, supermarkets and shopping.
