Reviews
The hotel reviews collectively indicate a very poor experience for guests. The majority of reviews mention uncleanliness, unpleasant smells, and outdated or damaged furniture and amenities.
- Quiet location
- Helpful front desk staff
- Uncleanliness and mold in rooms
- Unpleasant smells, including smoke and mildew
- 3/5
Other than the staff being awful and the rooms dated (small television)the stay was comfortable
- 4/5
Pricing was not bad, the property had a very disgusting smell once entering to check in. It smells like marijuana throughout the property. Our rooms were clean the following morning and the cleaning people took the toilet paper away and never replenished it when I contacted the front office. They told me I would have to wait a few hours because the rest of the staff did not arrive to work I ended up having to go to the gas station to purchase toilet paper. If you're just looking for a quick location to sleep and relax, this is perfect. I do not recommend staying here for long periods of time and or bring family along.

The cleanliness of the facility A black female stood beside me wearing a pink satin bonnet and said you can suck. The unit I was offered in Baltimore City was written on the ground by the front door of the motel Tina Campbell offered Building 5210 that number is written in yellow Someone came in my room and placed white powder on the bathroom door a shoe print on my desk and left bbq sauce under my bed

Breakfast was as expected, no better or worse. Room was basic and clean, a good value for the low price we paid Wifi was spotty and unreliable
- 5/5
The stay and property met our expectations. While the 'breakfast' is very simple and not cooked, that was clearly advertised online and mentioned upon check in.

Very old hotel. Not clean and lacks basics like clean floor, linen, laundry bag, and iron. Not secure room as window was unlocked with direct access to outside.

My stay was nice and quiet. Room was clean and neat. I didn’t take advantage of breakfast, I was in town for a college graduation, so my schedule was pretty full. Definitely good for a quick trip alone.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The only problem I had was the lack of food for breakfast and the smell of weed and upstairs above my room it sounded as if people was jumping all night!
- 4/5
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Amenities were limited and television program needs to be provided to enable guest to watch preferred programs.

The bathroom was dirty, the pillow cases were dirty, there was a cigarette ash on the carpet and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. We checked in, found the room in this condition and asked for a new room. They did not have a new room so we had to leave and check in to a different hotel. I’m trying to get Expedia to refund my money but the hotel is not cooperating.

Checkin process takes a long time even with making reservations online ahead of time. Slow process of typing in my drivers license number several times, and about 15 minutes later got our key cards (which took a few minutes to encode). Everything seems outdated, and not very cheery. Cheapest rooms in the area though
- 5/5
Friendly, helpful staff. Respectful. Clean rooms.

Everything was great from the check in; through my stay; and the checkout. But the only issued I had honestly speaking was the breakfast to be absolutely honest when i goes a hotel or motel I totally looks forward to that continental breakfast it hits differently and I've been doin this since I was first able to start checking into hotels and etc.
- 5/5
Everything was great I'm just unhappy that it was no continental breakfast but rather breakfast to go which is fine but not my particular preference.
- 1/5
The carpet in the room was horrible. It was stained very badly. There was a lot of dirt which made it horrible for my allergies. The staff was wonderful. Check in and out was simple. I almost left a day early because of the cleanliness of the room.
- 1/5
DID NOT LIKE: SMELL IN THE HALLWAY, ROOM: LIKE OLD SMELL, NOT LIKE A CLEAN SMELL. THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS DIRTY AND OLD. THE CARPET NEED CLEANING AND THE BLANKETS LOOK OLD. THE TUB HAS YELLOW STAINS ON THE TUB. THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT FRESH. THE HALLWAY WAS SMELLY. THE WINDOWS IN THE ROOM, NEED CLEANING. THE TV DID NOT HAVE STREAMING CHANNELS. THE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK, NEED NEW ONES. FOR THE PRICE WE PAID PER NIGHT $200 COULD OF WENT TO MOTEL 6 AND I AM SURE IT IS ALOT CLEANER THERE. WILL NEVER COME BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY THERE. BUNCH OF SHADDY PEOPLE THERE.
- 4/5
It was a quick trip and was nice
- 5/5
It was my first time staying here and it was very nice and I really enjoyed it.
- 5/5
It was convenient, and it felt safe.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly, but the property looks as if it hasn't been updated for approximately 25 years! There were cigarette burns on all the furniture in the room, dust collected on the popcorn ceiling, splatters of "something" on walls in various areas of the room, a random packet of salad dressing in the corner, and the smoke detector was covered in plastic. Thankfully, the sheets were clean. We only stayed for 1 of the 2 nights we had booked.
- 3/5
The room smell like dirty feet and mold
- 2/5
The fire alarm in our room was disconnected with exposed wires hanging out. Hallway had a potent cannabis odor. Front desk attendant is behind thick glass making it difficult to communicate.
- 1/5
This hotel was extremely unpleasant and unsafe for children. I visited with my two kids, and the rooms were infested with mosquitoes and roaches. The towels were dirty, and the overall condition of the place was very poor. I would not recommend staying here. Staff is not welcomed

Lina has very severe asthma and while the hotel is designated non smoking, almost the entire facility, including the room we were issued, reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Upon entering the room, Lina immediately began having asthmatic issues, difficulty breathing, and chest tightness and she had to use her rescue inhaler. When we brought this up to the hotel management - they offered to respray the room with smoke odor remover - which does absoutely nothing for the contaminants in the room or for Lina's asthmatic concerns. In the brief 10-15min in the room, we both started to have skin allergies - red and itchy spots with raise

2. What they showed me on the computer was different from what we enter in the room. 3. The room was dirty 4. The carpet was filthy 5. The furnitures had stains all over/ dirty 6. Overall, my wife and I had to leave right after we checked In.
- 3/5
The "included breakfast" was nothing more than prepackaged bagels and muffin. I will NEVER stay there again!!
- 2/5
The breakfast was non existent i was told to go to the Dinner if i wanted breakfast. The front desk attendant was not friendly at all.
- 3/5
As per the price propert is not ok.they say they provide breakfast but it is not fresh and good .

The bed was uncomfortable

The only positive part of my experience was the front desk staff—they were genuinely kind, helpful, and super sweet. Unfortunately, everything else about this stay was awful. When I opened the door to my first room, I was immediately hit with the strong stench of smoke—it was unbearable. I went back to the front desk and explained the issue. They switched my room instantly, no problem. But the second room? Still smelled like smoke, just slightly less intense. I had been traveling all day and was too exhausted to go back down and switch rooms again. I figured I could tough it out for one night. Big mistake. Within a couple of hours, I was nauseous and fighting the urge to throw up. The smoke smell seemed embedded in everything—the carpet, mattress, pillows, and walls. I barely got any sleep. The room was also incredibly outdated, the furniture was worn, walls were dirty, and the TV barely worked—every channel was staticky. I didn’t complain again out of courtesy for the front desk, and honestly, I was afraid every room might be the same. I also would’ve left and gone to another hotel, but their cancellation policy is terrible—they don’t allow cancellations.
- 4/5
Good stay.
- 3/5
Not liked: Breakfast was offered from 6-9 AM. No breakfast was offered as promised. There were only 3 old tables in the front desk area. The only thing that was offered - coffee
- 3/5
There were two issues that bothered me: The WiFi was extremely slow most of the time and I had to keep re-entering the password. The 2nd issue was that I found a syringe (without needle) in the corner of my room. Both issues seem avoidable to me.
- 2/5
Not so good. Key card machine wasn’t working when it got to my turn to check in. She must have gone through about 70 keys before she finally decided to clean the machine and it finally worked. The desk chair was old and all peeled up. The hotel is old and stale and they have just one iron for the entire hotel which wasn’t working so I have to buy a new clothing from Kohls to attend my function. Overall the stay was OK if you are just looking for a cheap place to stay but all the factors makes this place a last resort option.
- 2/5
Staff were nice.
- 4/5
That was good for a night.

- 2/5
Employees were not friendly at all, no empathy at all, place was bad, mattress was nasty, my space in the room was really small, breakfast was just a bread, I will not recommend this place to anybody, I paid $178 for 2 nights I had stayed just one, I had to leave that place as soon as possible
- 5/5
Good customer service

Bathtub was peeling the floor had uneven areas under the rug like holes. Check in had glass and I could hardly hear or even understand the woman checking me in.

The property is old and the bath tubs creak for example. The surfaces are rough with dark spots. Not worth the $90 dollars they charge. Unlike other comparable places, the BF options are very limited.
- 2/5
Cheap, but terrible in terms of cleanliness - the floors had burnt mark, dust, trash, and most importanly many many cockroaches!
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 2/5
What I can't stand the most is that the vending machine on the first floor stole my money.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
The room was neat but very dated
- 2/5
Too close to the road
- 1/5
Found alive and dead cockroaches in the room. Asked to change to another room, but they said they couldn’t. Terrible experience.
- 1/5
Absolutely wasn’t worth what I paid and I would gladly like a discount of what I paid. Very shabby and run down place, very dirty, very strong smoke smell and cigarettes marks all over wooden table and chair. Chair was ripped up and very dirty. Walls a mess, curtains old and smoky. Floors squeaks like hell. Pillows smelled of people and had hairs, I placed one under the second sheet that smelled clean. I didn’t use the top blankets. The blankets had cigarette holes. I was too tired to go elsewhere. Checked in late. Only upside is I didn’t see any roaches but my stay was very short.
- 2/5
Needs updating in the rooms. Paint was peeling , carpets were stained, mildew in the bathroom, shower head was gross, had mold on it. Beds were comfortable. Also could smell smoke residue in the room along with marijuana .
- 1/5
I didn’t like Everything about it
- 4/5
This was the most affordable motel within easy transportation distance of the National Archives. It was great to have coffee and a bagel, then walk the short distance to a bus stop. In the evenings, the Paint Brush Trail was relatively close by for immersing myself in nature!

This place smelled so bad and the room when we walked in had roaches we did not stay and the woman named Jackie at the desk when I told her we were not staying acted like we lied and just took off WE DID NOT STAY
- 5/5
The price was convent. There is a dinner next door that has very good food. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which takes you to the metro station. The room has a frig and microwave. The room and bathroom were clean. Carpet is old

While I did not need a 4–5-star hotel I did need a clean hotel. Unfortunately, I could not stay. It was unbelievable. I cannot believe Wyndham's name is associated with quality this bad. This is definitely being reported to both Wyndham Hotels and Maryland Board of Health.

- 3/5
Old furniture broken, lamps not working and out of focus TV
- 3/5
The property did not look like the pictures and there was an odd smell in the room.
- 4/5
The hotel was according to specifications.
- 3/5
A lot of times the cheaper hotels are terrible. That was not the case for this hotel. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. That made me happy. The last 2 hotels I went to did not. There were some loud people on my floor, but not too bad. Uber people knocking on my door when I did not Order anything. Overall, I like this place.
- 1/5
The quality of people living there, more homeless in that motel. Not a safe place
- 1/5
Horrible experience. Extremely dirty old unkempt room. Noisy heater. Dirty beddings ! Horrible horrible horrible place! Pls do not book to stay here.
- 3/5
Breakfast was really NOT a breakfast at all. Folks who checked us in were friendly.
- 5/5
Lidet was very nice
- 4/5
Lidet the front desk clerk was very professional, courteous and approachable.
- 1/5
Not going to visit again
- 3/5
But was refused st checkin. “The way i bought the room” was a factor…..what the hell does that even mean…….
- 5/5
Did not like the dirty parking lot
- 4/5
Alot of trash in parking lot
- 1/5
This property felt unsafe and the room was unsanitary. We requested a cancellation of the property from Expedia, but since we had already checked in, they were unable to process it. The hotel refused to issue a refund and we left the property without staying overnight. I can submit pictures of the unsanitary, unclean bed linen and dirty room.
- 1/5
In my room, I can find next items: visibly rusty iron products, dark cigarette smell, thin blankets (even in winter), punctured blankets (possibily by cigarette), towels and shampoo but no basic amenities such as soap, bottled water, toothbrushes, toothpaste, weak sound insulation.
- 2/5
Very poor quality
- 3/5
The receptionist was rude and not helpful. After putting money in the vending machine for a drink it wouldn’t produce the item I went to the receptionist for help but she specifically said “they don’t help customers” very weird individual.
- 1/5
The price was the most convenient thing.
- 1/5
The "no smoking" room smelled of cigaretes even though i specifically told them that my kid had asthma so they decided to offer spray but that definitly would not work so i had to check out of the motel not even 30 minutes later to go to a holiday inn which was 100× better and cleaner than this place.
- 5/5
I wasn't sure about mask mandates because they haven't taken down the warning. However, seeing the signs around helped me realize the impacts of the pandemic abroad. I don't remember mask laws where I was visiting from. It's kind of cute though.
- 3/5
Black mold is not acceptable from a health standpoint.
- 1/5
This motel is terrible. The carpets were ultra dirty and the entire motel super smelly. The location is shady too. The service was okayish. Would never recommend for the price. Not staying here again.
- 3/5
The Stay was just average. Should be proper breakfast not just coffee and muffin.
- 1/5
Service is not much good & room is also not good
- 1/5
Bad
- 3/5
The shower/tub drain was very slow, by the time you got done with your shower you were standing in 6" of water. The sink drain was just as slow as the tub. The bathroom walls were dirty, looks like they are never washed/cleaned.
- 4/5
It is clean inside. A little noisy.
- 4/5
Room needs a update. The bathtub was old and peeling. The interior room walls were stained and peeling also.
- 4/5
The room was clean, but the property needs serious renovations. I did find a roach in the bathroom but that was the only one I saw.
- 4/5
I like how they attend to customers and clean our rooms.
