Another thing that was an inconvenience was the shower. It did not have an opening to reach your arm in to turn on the shower. You have to get in to turn it on.

We've stayed here a few times over the years. A lot of construction going on in the area. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a nice size and bedspretty comfortable.

The room was very spacious and clean. The parking was very easy to navigate with plenty of spaces. And the staff were very friendly and when I had a problem leaving the parking, they quickly solved the issue. 10/10 I would recommend and stay again.

The hotel itself is in a convenient location, but it does have some questionable characters that linger on the outskirts. The elevators in the garage doesn't work. Elevators in the hotel are functional, but the security portion where you should have to tap your key to get thr elevators to move didnt work. Anyone who walks in can go to any floor...however tge bathrooms require you to have a key so make that make sense! The room was spacious and clean, but the refrigerator did not work. The tv had channels, but there was no menu so you literally had no idea what you were watching. The channels were also very limited. The staff was generally nice but one lady had a nasty disposition.

The place is lovely. The only issue is that you can smell sewage in the elevator, hallway and first floor bathroom.

We enjoy with family and student ay UMD. Very close to campus. Restaurants near hotel facilities. Nice surroundings.

I would suggest this hotel to visitors, a good place to stay and good food

After having to cancel reservations because I couldn’t leave the hotel to ensure that they would secure my second night and didn’t want to leave all my belongings in the room in case they weren’t able to do it over an hour on the phone and they finally were able to secure the second night I would absolutely not recommend staying at this hotel. They can’t guarantee your reserved room. I received an email from the hotel the day before my check-in to confirm they had my reservation. Unfortunately, this is becoming more common practice as hotels are over booking just like Airlines I will never stay at this hotel or its chains.

I wish it was a smart tv so I could log into my Netflix or streaming services but they had great channels

Unfortunately they entered my car tags wrong for parking, and I ended up having to pay for parking at the gate … it was only $4 more expensive but frustrating that the hotel took attitude of “oh well, the mistake was ours but there’s nothing we can do to help you”

Great location for any visitors to the University of Maryland. The Hotel is well maintained and comfortable, however it had the worst Wi-Fi of any hotel I've been in the last few years. My iPad just did not like it; my security did not like it. The parking is very quirky and annoying. I paid for overnight parking at the front desk but the automated system in the garage didn't know that and the only way to get out was to call the vendor and complain. I'm still getting hounded by the garage system for "not paying". The hotel does get a lot of U of M visitors, including lots of sports teams and conference/seminar attendees so it can get loud and crowded. No breakfast restaurant is a bit inconvenient but forces you to go to a better place anyway!

We travel to MD frequently and have stayed here several times. I love this hotel because it's clean, quiet and spacious. It's also very convenient to the beltway. I'll continue to book more stays here!

Just a PS: you do have to pay extra for parking. We didn’t mind, because we were aware that this was the case EVERYWHERE in this area, but just be aware it isn’t included in the booking price.

Yury at the front desk and her side kick Leah were absolutely horrific to deal with. While the hotel was stunning and the room super clean- they ruined it.

Everything was great except that you couldn't use any apps on the TVs. You have to watch whatever is available, and that is no good when you are traveling for work. It's the only thing that makes it feel like home.

Room was clean and location was ideal. I only gave stars because the check in took forever and the young lady that checked us in was not very friendly. She had either just gotten there or just returned from a break and it was clear we were an inconvenience to her.

Nice enough room, etc BUT the bar closes ridiculously early (what's the point if it closes at 9 pm) and the front office staff act like you're entering a nightclub and they're the bouncers. Terrible attitude. Probably wouldn't stay again if in College Park. Too many other options.

Very nice staff. Shower wasn’t super clean, and just a bad design. The blackout shade was too small to block the light of the neon Exxon sign from the gas station next door. The coffee station in the lobby should be leveled up.

Wonderful stay at the cambria over the Thanksgiving holiday. Parking was easy and well lit. The facilities were clean and the staff was charming. Will definitely be staying here from now on when I visit Maryland.

I never stayed in a Cambria Hotel before. It is modern, has a great restaurant/bar and is located at the edge of campus. I would stay there again.

The room was really great! We should had a mini bar but very clean spacious room good lighting in the bathroom.

Nice hotel … very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff … would easily give 5 stars but the WiFi was down for 3 of our 6 days there, & it was like pulling teeth to get coffee for the room … they had run out of it by the time we left … we ended up going out & buying our own kuerig pods, so easy enough to fix, but coffee & WiFi are pretty basic needs in a hotel.

I booked a suite at the College Park location for my wedding weekend. The room was clean and spacious. I like that there was an onsite restaurant with friendly staff. There were water refill stations, complimentary coffee, and parking onsite. There are also many near by restaurants near by. The location was also great. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall it was a good stay. The room was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that we asked for the room to be serviced after our first night and it didn’t get done. The other thing was we were surprised how early the bar and restaurant closed on a football weekend. Regardless, we will stay here again.

Room amenities are great The Primetime Restaurant and Bar is a nice touch. Unlike a lot of hotel restaurants, the food and service is solid Ice machines were empty, but it was homecoming weekend. That was no big deal at all

The room was clean enough. The bathroom has that 1/2 shower wall that keeps you cold and the floor damp. I did appreciate the soft towels and the different colors so we knew who’s was who’s.

Definitely recommend for traveling sports teams.

Clean, new property located within walking distance to UMD. The property had a restaurant on-site and several other restaurants nearby. Check-in was quick and the room was ready early. My only pet peeve is charging for parking for guests. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

This hotel has a classy beautiful design to it Every inch of this hotel is immaculately, clean, and new. Beds are super comfortable. Concierge staff Rayvan and Lia (please forgive me if I misspelled.) these two are absolute gems. They go out of their way for the guests and represent the high level of class for the hotel. Hotel should be proud of me still. I also want to mention James concierge who took care of me during the daytime help me with my office meeting preparation again above and beyond. The restaurant primetime: thank you for coordinating that amazing dinner for my staff with such late notice. Thank you for always keeping the kitchen open knowing that I was getting back at 10 o’clock every night with no food in town. Thank you so much to a bartender named Rush and Shannon This hotel is perfect for people that want a nice hotel on business without getting crushed with expenses. Thank you hotels.com for five to be such a fair plan. Anybody that goes to appraise your hotel is literally wasting money. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I will be back exclusively every time I work in Maryland.

Great rooms and restaurant/bar - service at the restaurant was great and the food was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints were room services did a terrible job and had to call back twice for not making the bed and then not bringing clean glasses. We also requested early checking of 2hrs and they wanted to charge us $50! Other than that we enjoyed the comfortability and aesthetic of the hotel.

The Cambria is a clean hotel that is located about 1/2 mile from the University of Maryland College Park campus. The area us walkable and there are many food options close by. I would definitely stay at the Cambria again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonably priced, great location near UMD. Paying for parking is annoying. Just add the parking to the room fee and offer "free" parking instead.

With me driving from South Carolina the staff was extremely flexible with me check in. Once I arrived , I was greeted with a smile in the beautiful breath taking lobby , with a very spacious and modern style . Don't worry about snacks because the front desk was completely stocked . There was also a restaurant on the lobby floor. Due to the timing I didn't get a chance to go to it . The property itself is clean . The rooms have modern styles but very comfortable and spacious. Mirror have Bluetooth features. Shower is a walk in and the automatic curtains happen to be my favorite feature lol . That blackout feature add to more hours to my morning. I would recommend staying at this hotel. Your experience will be amazing. You will have to pay for parking but there is a parking garage right next to the front door.

Loved the bluetooth in bathroom, coffemaker worked great, although the bed was not comfortable. On a king size there were already 2 holes marked as too much used! Time to change mattress!

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The front desk service felt more like a 2-star motel—unprofessional and unhelpful. The ceiling near the AC in my first room made loud noises, and I couldn’t sleep the first night. I reported it the next day, and while someone came to check, they never returned. After waiting over an hour and calling again, I was finally offered a room change, which was thankfully quieter. When I asked for a plate to reheat leftovers, the front desk simply said they don’t offer any. As a Hotels.com silver member, I requested a 30-minute late checkout—normally the hotels can accommodate, but the front desk bluntly said, “Not today,” with no explanation. Overall, the service and experience fell far below expectations.

The hotel was very nice but they used to much bleach in their cleaning and washing and i got very sick from it. Also a guest of mines got sich from it as well. I would love to go back to that hotel but not until they reslove that problem

I have stayed at your property a couple of times while my daughter attended UMD. You provide a comfortable, clean room, really comfortable beds and pillows, and reasonable parking. My only "complaint" was trying to find an ice machine. I had perishable food with me and hoped to get ice (I was told you had a refrigerator that I could use, then when I checked in was told it wasn't available because a guest had their insulin in it. How small of a refrigerator do you have?) The one on my floor didn't work (5th floor) I went down one floor, still no luck. It was late and I was tired, I didn't feel like trying every floor. When I checked out the next day I asked the staff and was then able to get some ice. It would help if when checking in guests were told which ice machines were working. Also, I was there with my daughter. As a woman, I'm not going to walk all over looking for an ice machine. Sorry, that's very unsafe for a woman.

checking in was a little confusing as we had to wait for the manager to come in.. followed by our key cards being disabled EVERYday of our trip creating more of an inconvenience. lastly, our room was only cleaned the last day after me telling the front desk i️ requested it several times before. all in all, I️ probably wouldn’t stay here again based on our experience but decent hotel.

My family and I visited for my daughter’s graduation. We came in Thursday and left Sunday. We had a total of 6 rooms. It was convenient as my daughter lives across the street inTempo. We had no complaints except for communication. We left in a hurry in the mornings because we attended graduation for two days. When we returned, after a long day, the rooms were not tidied at all. They didn’t change our towels and washcloths. When we called and asked they replaced some but not all, they didn’t replace the cups or clean the glasses. It was an inconvenience for us. We have come to know Cambria quite well, as we have been staying with your establishment for the past 4 years. We have come to expect better from Cambria and one of the most important times of our lives we felt we were let down during this visit. We were disappointed with our stay but we know you are better than our experience.

Cute and modern hotel in a convenient location. The bathroom is very snazzy with Bluetooth enabled mirrors. The staff at the front desk were primarily absent and unenthusiastic to be there, but they’re probably college kids. There’s a restaurant on site that we didn’t get to try, but the drinks were nice.

Place seemed nice but little things were just wrong. The ac stopped working had to move rooms. Ice machines were broke on several levels.

1) This is a small matter: Rooms don't have hand soap at the sink. People have to go to the front desk to ask for small bottles of body wash to use as hand soap. But after a long travel, it's a bit annoying to get into your hotel room, and find that you have to go back to the front desk, wait for the staff to show up, to get hand soap, before you can use the bathroom. 2) This is the issue that make me reluctant to come back to this hotel. Terrible sound insulation. We can hear people talking in the corridor or loudly in their rooms. We turned in around 10pm but couldn't sleep until midnight. Similarly, anyone using the bathroom, just the flushing and water running in the faucet, are loud enough to wake up others in the room. Hotel need to consider improving the sound insulation if it wants to continue charging a decent price for its stay.
