- 5/5
The location is looks kinda sketch at first but it’s chill once u get there
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay, I was only here for about a day, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Also, so much cheaper than any other option.
- 5/5
Well stocked and great coffee in the morning
- 5/5
Very cool staff and rooms are amazing
- 5/5
Beautiful room, nice people and it was a great time.
- 5/5
I have stayed here several times in the past. For Colorado Springs, this is the only place I will stay. I always get a good night sleep. Super clean! There was nothing not to like. RAD will always be a favorite.
- 5/5
This place is great and very comfortable. It gives that next door neighbor feeling from my childhood. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and the events. I will likely visit again. I did not like the weather as much because it prevented some of the events. And when it is below freezing, you almost want to sleep in the bathroom shower!
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. We loved the communal feel and all of the amazing murals. The room, common areas and kitchen were all really clean. We will definitely be staying at the RAD again!!!
- 1/5
I stayed
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
- 4.5/5
I liked the accessibility and cleanliness. We received quick responses from staff about our questions. The design of the room was also lovely! The place was easy to find and conveniently located with great common areas! It smelled a little bit more like weed than I would have liked outside. People totally stayed in the smoking only the area, and I don't think that it's something that could be fixed. Gluten-free options for breakfast would be nice!
- 4/5
The place is a bit old, but it's well maintained. The host was very friendly and nice. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Room was decent stayed there for a night it was nice
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was great, had a really fun time
- 5/5
Always a super awesome place to stay. I love staying there and Its always fun to meet all the new people. They keep a close tab on keeping trouble makers out and its just a really pleasant place to be.
- 1/5
I have requested for refund and there has been no response. Please do not book this hostel. Colorado Springs has better says at similar rates.
- 5/5
Had to extend my stay because I was having such a great time!
- 5/5
As usual, I had an amazing time here! I had so many wonderful conversations with different travelers. The group trip to Bishop’s Castle was even better than I had anticipated! I’ve been there before, but the people on this trip made it even more enjoyable. Plus, the castle had new additions since my last visit! I want to give a special shoutout to Flor and Thiago for cooking an incredible dinner with steak, bread, and yucca potato. Sai kept the bonfire going and had some thought-provoking conversations. Many more I could mention I just don’t remember everyone’s names ! Thanks for making my trip unforgettable, Rad Hostel! Can’t wait to come back again
- 5/5
I came in at the last minute and really appreciate how everyone was friendly. Still, overall, The Person I appreciate the most would be Ms.Flor🌷🌸🌹❤️. On her off days, she lets me tag along with her To Visit the fountains in Manitou. We also ended up doing the Pull Pit mountain Trail and The Pikes Peak Train Ride, which I would highly recommend trying out. Overall Great time and highly recommend the stay 🙏🤌
- 5/5
RAD is an awesome place and a completely different experience. Its clean and run very professionally. I went hiking and did several activities with the group. I will definitely stay there every time I'm in Colorado Springs. I highly recommend it.
- 5/5
We met so many people from around the world! We would definitely stay there again next time we're in the area!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
The location and cost was great! There was no air in the room I stayed in so it was kind of hot. Loved my roommate and that atmosphere though!
- 5/5
This hostel is a beautiful oasis in the middle of Colorado Springs. The guests were lovely and interesting and wonderful people. From the activities, to the fantastic atmosphere, to the amenities all over the property, this is THE best place to stay. Inclusive, hippie, happy, wonderful RAD!
- 5/5
All the staff members were wonderful. Greatly a preicated their hospitality. The pancakes on the weekends were delicious. Staff sets up activities to do as a group. No issues with the room.
- 5/5
Best hostel I have ever stayed
- 4.5/5
I love the extra trips they plan for their customers this week was to garden of the gods to see the full moon Noisy air conditioner
- 5/5
Fun and clean place to stay!
- 5/5
The Sand Dunes room was private and large enough for us two. The cookout was really great and we were lucky to be there when fun people were there, too. It was nice having the opportunity to join daily activities. Breakfast was generally good. The bathroom was clean and had what we needed. I appreciate the patio and backyard. A kettle in the room would have been great but it had everything else we needed.
- 5/5
I like the additions that they’ve made. I see the place is a lot more family friendly every year, at least during the week of the 4th of July. I appreciate that they’re still 420 friendly. Although the area at the end of the main building, with the painted mural is a really great spot, I understand the no smoking of people are burning the furniture. Maybe make a more clearly defined smoking area. That way they have a place to go, and families have a place to avoid. A shaded area would be great. Nothing I really “don’t like.” Love it, can’t wait to come back!
- 5/5
I just love this place. Keep coming back again and again.
- 5/5
Clean room; very close to Garden of the Gods
- 4.5/5
The lounge and “backyard “ The location but it’s ok!
- 2.5/5
The place looked nothing like the pictures—the photos were very misleading. The room smelled terrible, and both the bedroom and bathroom were not clean.
- 5/5
Great little hostel where I wasn't expecting to find one. The vibe is great and the staff I met were friendly. It's basically a converted motel from back in the day, but they've freshened it up and made it a pretty cool place to hang out if you want to be around other adventurous travelers. It's not for everyone, but if you like hostels you'll enjoy this one.
- 5/5
Standard Hostel setup.
- 3.5/5
We stayed in a private room that could sleep 6, but it was just us 2. The carpets in the room were pretty gross and stained. The rooms open out onto the parking lot (motel style) and the door did not have a dead bolt. It's not in the nicest part of town and it seems a lot of people walk by on the highway it's on, but we didn't notice any issues while we were there. I'd give 7.5 if I could.
- 5/5
Appreciate the complementary breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Roommates leaving their towels on the floor and in the way.
- 5/5
I just love this place. It's very social and the staff is always so nice. I've been there several times and it's always exactly what I need.
- 5/5
nothing
- 5/5
Very comfortable and well thought out.
- 4.5/5
No tv in the room
- 3.5/5
People friendly Neighborhood has drug addicts
- 5/5
Everything, from the staff (Ms Erin) down to amenities & location That i only spent a day in the place. Will love to come back
- 5/5
Location is a bit sketchy, but still an excellent find!
- 5/5
Enjoyed the communal areas.
- 5/5
Clean hostel ..convenient
- 5/5
Vibe of the Hostel & interesting decor of lounge and common areas; friendly staff and patrons; basic but good range of breakfast options. Kitchen and dishware for use. Clean.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay there. The staff is very friendly and I love the outdoor setups they have to relax. There have events most days of the week so it's easy to meet new people
- 3/5
The staff was welcoming. She showed us around. I like the idea that they have daily and nightly activities. Our room is clean buy needs tender loving care/ update. The air conditioning is not giving cold air and was loud. Not able to rest.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! The Hostel is quiet, clean, and the staff are amazing.
- 5/5
Amazing experience. I was going to arrive late at night. Couldn’t find a parking spot, so sent them a message. They responded at 11:30pm. Who does that these days!? I would 100% stay here again.
- 1/5
not for everyone
- 4/5
Receiving the reminder text about activities was helpful, having a variety of dairy and plant-based milks was a plus. The beds weren’t overly comfortable, but the comforter, duvet and pillow were lovely as were the pots of flowers. I would definitely stay here again and I wish the absolute best to the whole hard-working team. Thank you for providing a safe and clean home away from home.
- 5/5
Absolutely recommend this hostel! They go WAY above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Super fun experience!
- 5/5
This is my favorite place to stay in Colorado Springs.
- 5/5
The most comfortable hostel bed I’ve ever stayed in! Lovely staff, great space to relax and hang out. All in all a fantastic stay.
- 5/5
The staff are friendly and build community.
- 5/5
The hostel is very nice. Spacious rooms with private bathrooms and comfortable beds. They serve breakfast and offer various activities. The only downside is that you need your own transportation because it's a bit far from everything.
- 5/5
SHARON is the best volunteer! Great European concept. The back yard and patio are Amazing!
- 5/5
One of the nicest hostels ive stayed in. The vibes are immaculate. Quiet clean rooms, the remote check in was perfect for us needing to roll in at 1am, my only complaint is that its a little dusty and tough on any allergies, but otherwise our night was awesome.
- 2/5
Additionally, parking is very limited. If you’re planning to stay, make sure you arrive by the evening, otherwise, you’ll struggle to find a spot. We ended up parking at a neighbor's property due to the lack of available space.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. My bed was equipped with a reading light, outlet, reasonably comfy pillow, and a duvet. The duvet was honestly the only downside, that's a winter blanket and it was 90 degrees for most of my stay. The AC worked great, the biggest upside to being top bunk was the AC in room 4 is basically on top of the far top bunk so my space was cold with it on. Water pressure is great, breakfast provided was cereal and fruit but there's plenty of space to make yourself something if that doesn't suit. My roommates were very polite and considerate and honestly I have no complaints.
- 5/5
Kind people, safe accommodations, and easy checkout.
- 5/5
Awesome property and staff!
- 5/5
This is a wonderful hostel , but can Be utilized as a hotel. You can have a shared room, which is the hostel experience, or you can rent your own room with your own private bathroom. I really was surprised, but happy with the nightly festivities that were offered. They have a very nice backyard where they do gatherings with s’mores, as well as jaunts Into the city. I needed a base for my daily explorations so this was perfect.
- 5/5
They were very accomodating and nice. I like how they have multiple spaces to hang out, socialize and play games.
- 5/5
secret gem in the area. well run hostel with great friendly staffs.
- 5/5
First time staying at a hostel and don't know if there is any other way I want to travel now. From the beginning when Maggie checked me in, I had great service and was surprised with how clean the facilities were. Throughout my stay I met the manager, various volunteers, and the owner- all of whom were very polite, great to chat with, and went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. There were activities on some of the evenings of my stay, which started at 7pm and ended by 9pm. I was only able to attend the s'mores night on Friday, where I met other guests and had a great time.
- 4/5
It's a nice unique little place in a really bad part of town. Unfortunately there is a lot of street racing going on just 30 yrs from where I was sleeping. (Corner closest to the street). We had 2 issues with people coming up to us at our visit that were from the trailer homes behind the establishment they came through the fence. The people that stayed here were all really cool and down to earth. I would recommend but be guarded with the people coming though the fence.
- 5/5
So friendly and affordable. Will definitely be back if in the area.
- 5/5
What an amazing hostel, great experience from check in to check out! Great people make a great atmosphere. Room was small and not very noise proof if that bothers you. We had a great time and would stay again when we’re next in Colorado Springs.
- 5/5
Love the atmosphere
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Thanks for being there!
- 5/5
The hostel was very much a hostel, which is a plus! The staff were friendly and provided a welcoming atmosphere. There was plenty of space to just exist in public. I was able to both work quietly and also socialize depending on where I was at in my day without issues. The private rooms are reasonably quiet, and a great deal if you’re looking to have a private, clean space during your travels.
- 5/5
This place is amazing and very welcoming! My daughter and I enjoyed meeting new people at the Friday night bonfire 🔥. Can't wait to return!
- 5/5
Eleanor is kind and lovely!
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly and very hospitable
- 5/5
Great hostel! Friendly and helpful staff. Has a really nice kitchen and lounge. Great location and the hostel offers events such as bonfires and communal breakfasts. Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
The hostel is a lovely place to stay when you’re in Colorado Springs area. They have wonder events and activities they host for guest. The crew are friendly and go above and beyond when they can. Trust me the visit here is worth it and they are affordable.
- 4/5
We really liked the feel of the hostel, there was games and really cute areas to hang outside in. There was a blizzard going on the first few nights we stayed, our room was freezing (the door wasn’t well insulated). We called and asked for more blankets, the attendants came right away with some as well as a space heater! They are so nice! The room was nice, but after the first two days they must have turned on the heat and it didn’t turn off all day or night and we were very warm. We called to ask if it could be turned down, and the assistant didn’t know how to do this. We thought we would crack the window but there was no screen which wasn’t very safe. The agreement we sign said no drugs (including pot), however outside the hostel and in our room we could smell it emanating from a room nearby and nothing was done about this. The bunk bed was very rickety, and the top bunk didn’t have a ladder so we put one mattress on the floor. The bathroom floor was a little sticky. While we were gone the attendants changed the blinds as they were broken and we didn’t even have to ask so that was cool too. The breakfast was mostly fruit bread and milk, no eggs but the kitchen was very nice. Overall I would stay again but probably in the summer.
- 5/5
The room gets cold at night, bring heater
- 5/5
LOVED this place!!! Friendly staff (Ashley needs a raise!!). Very cozy and welcoming! A safe and open environment for all. The outdoor sitting is very nice!! 10/10!!
- 5/5
This hostel made all the difference in my travel experience! I am a travel health care professional and needed last-minute housing in Colorado Springs. I tried a few of the cheap hotels in the area and had awful experiences, they were dirty and smelly, and I didn't feel safe there as a single female. Colorado Adventure Hostel was not only cost-effective but clean and comfortable. I got a private room every time no problem, the staff was accommodating, helpful, and nice. They had all of the amenities I needed and more, they offer free bicycle rentals and have other options for affordable prices. There's a lovely patio area with plenty of seating and hammocks and a few yard games. There are two available communal cooking spaces and a microwave and minifridge in every room. The rooms are not fancy but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and the staff was amazing! I'd recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in the Colorado Springs area!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean,we got a free update which was amazing, breakfast was lovely, lounge room was great for movies and the front staff super helpful. Would come again!
- 5/5
I liked this place. Such a nice Community. Clean rooms. Not noisy. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
We really liked the place and staff were friendly.
- 1/5
This is so far removed from the standard in the US that hotels.com needs to add this as a big red banner above this listing and then again when checking out with a confirmation box that you're aware of the substandard hours of operation. Flights get delayed frequently, especially these days, and they want a fee for "late" checkin and you'd be SOL if arriving after midnight. Sure, my fault for not catching the small print. But does anyone read all the small print? And such deviations from the standard is not small print material but more of a warning that the customer should need to confirm multiple times before allowing the booking.
- 5/5
The staff were super friendly and accommodating! Plenty of amenities including: free breakfast, lounge areas that have tvs, kitchen that you can do your own cooking and laundry facilities. The prices to stay a night or more can’t be beat!
- 5/5
Good staff, good patrons
- 4/5
If you like groovy hostels, this is your gig. Awesome creative hand painted murals everywhere, and a friendly hippie vibe is pervasive. Lots of great outdoor gathering spaces, including a backyard with a view of the mountains. It was easy to meet like-minded travelers from around the world in the variety of public hang out spots. I only wished That the continental breakfast started before 8 AM, as myself, and I assume many others would like to get on the road before eight. Thanks Mohamed!
- 4/5
Daughters absolutely loved the community areas and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay.
- 5/5
Perfect staffs, no more to say. But Awkward Wi-Fi
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Even the bunk beds were ridiculously comfortable.
- 5/5
Very recommendable!!!!
- 4/5
slept together in a double bed; I thought we could do it, but it was not fun. But that wasn't the hostel's fault, really. Overall, the are many positives about this place: it was clean, it was quiet, and we felt safe.
- 4/5
Friendly hostel experience for my small family. We like to travel this way. It's more friendly, more easy to meet others from different walks of life, can cook and eat with community or not. Bedding was super clean; they have a nice process where they hand you a roll of a freshly washed blanket, sheets, and towels. Staff was super helpful guiding us towards local walks and hikes.
- 5/5
This is a great little place. I took my teenage daughter who was headed to Colorado Springs to work at the Broadmoor. We found a place friendly inviting and very clean. It’s really amazing place. It’s not a high-end hotel but it really is a great stop. Victoria was amazing and the international staff that she had working there was very cool. Just a great experience. The dogs were adorable!
- 5/5
Very affordable and decent for place to sleep, shower and go.
- 5/5
I loved the décor, the setup of the property, and the fact that it was a number code to get in the room, since I'm good at memorization. If you get back to the hostel late, like after midnight, good luck finding an actual parking spot, but overall, it's a great place. I will be staying there again next time I go to Colorado Springs. Truly, an excellent place to stay, especially for the cost.
- 5/5
Being n a relaxing atmosphere. Loved the staff and everyone staying at the facility.
- 4/5
Though the accommodations are simple, it was nice and clean. We received a towel, washcloth and blanket on arrival. You also must sign what is basically a no judgment agreement. Breakfast wasn’t until 8:00, and we needed to leave by then, so we can’t say anything about that. Note that you need to let them know what time you plan to arrive (after 9:00 and there’s a charge), and when you leave.
- 4/5
Veronica and the staff was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas especially Manitou Springs history and hiking the Incline. Very friendly kind staff.
- 5/5
Excellent for over night. We just needed a clean place to shower and sleep.
- 5/5
Fun little place to stay! Very clean and lots of character. The staff were very helpful. We had three teenagers and two adults and everyone loved it. A lot more atmosphere and sense of community than a typical hotel!
- 5/5
This hostel was perfect for us. It was quiet, the staff was amazing and amenities were plentiful. Lots to do and plenty of area to relax.
- 5/5
The staff are super friendly and make you feel welcome from the second you walk through the door. I would definitely stay here again. It is also a lot of fun!
- 5/5
Great !
- 3/5
Great communal spaces, individual rooms could be cleaner
- 5/5
Great hostel. Clean & friendly people.
- 4/5
Things could have been explained better but overall my family and I enjoyed our short time there even with our circumstances.
- 4/5
Decent stay, unless you are not used to sleeping in a room with multiple people.
- 1/5
Extremely rude and abusive staff. I did not feel safe here. The male staffers harass women. This is neither a safe nor a hospitable space.
- 5/5
Got everything you need and close to everything in Colorado springs along with a great staff
- 5/5
Amazing experience!!! If you're looking to get out of your comfort zone and meet new people or just hanging with family and friends, this is the place for you! I had a private room and I still enjoyed myself!!
- 5/5
This was my absolute favorite place I’ve ever stayed. The landscape, the property and most of all the people! Everyone is super friendly and genuine. I’ll definitely stay here again ((:
- 5/5
Awesome place
- 5/5
This is an awesome place to stay. I had to leave early and did not get to participate in breakfast. I would have enjoyed the company. Staff was very friendly, place was clean. Great view of mountains.
- 3/5
Customer service was hor
- 5/5
El personal es muy atento y serviciales
- 4/5
This place was super awesome and absolutely the best staff! Only complaint was the bed wasn’t super comfy but I’m old so it could have just been me! I would definitely recommend!!
- 5/5
Such a cute place with a great vibe! This will be my place to stay everytime I come to CO to hike. It is clean and friendly. I am thrilled to have discovered it!
- 4/5
An interesting and affordable (relatively speaking compared to other places in Colorado Springs...) place. It is a hostel for travelers and backpackers. So don't expect things that Holiday Inns have. The place met my expectations except there was an odd, foul smell in the room we stayed.
- 5/5
I will recommend this place to anyone. I pretty much got stranded here they let me stick around for as long as they could.. They even recommended some places I could go. I have nothing bad to say about the staff or the place. My name is not David it's Edgar. Thank you all so much for the help you were able give me. God bless
- 5/5
My husband and I loved it my kids loved it. It's very peaceful and 4-10 deck is the coolest thing. And so much to do with the kids there.
- 4/5
This property was designed for different people than my partner and I. That being said, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a bit of an issue with the office hours though. We had planned to leave early in the morning to get headed home, but the office wasn't open to facilitate check out
- 5/5
Amazing Stay, would recommend to anyone that’s looking for a nice cozy spot to stay for an amazing price. I was looking for somewhere for about an hour and found this gem. So glad we did not go anywhere else…super friendly Staff that actually want to be there and help out on whatever..our room was clean and was perfect for the night. They have a chill area where you can hangout and games, So it was a nice addition if you need to kill time. Would recommend 10/10
- 4/5
Good staff, they were very kind and made us feel welcomed. The room reminded me of my dorm so that was a fun experience.
- 5/5
Really neat place. Beautiful outside sitting area. The rooms were nice for a locally owned hotel. Staff was very friendly. Had access to a kitchen to be able to make my own food if needed.
- 3/5
It has the potential to be a great place. The staff is very friendly and helpful and even gives you a quick tour. They have a kitchen and lounge area which is neat. The have a cool back yard with corn hole and other neat things to do. There is no tv in the rooms, but that's probably to try and get people to go out in the back socialize and play corn hole and such which is actually pretty neat (although i perfer to have a tv). But we can deal with no tv. The only problem we had was the bed and bedding. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the sheets had a weird uncomfortable texture, the pillows where comfortable but flat and not enough, the comforter was nice though. If they had better beds and extra pillows we would definitely stay here again but for that reason we will not go back.
- 5/5
Kids love the bunker beds.
- 1/5
Simply unsafe. Was placed in a room with a woman who was coughing up a lung all night, repeatedly, into the open air for the rest of us to breathe in. I can only assume she has covid given current events. No help to be had from staff after 9pm. Why there is no symptom screening in place while guests are literally sleeping inches from each other is beyond me. Did not sleep a wink and feel very unsafe.
