Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok, I wish they could have bacon on a daily basis. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff were exceptionally courteous, and the rooms were well-maintained. Breakfast was satisfactory, though daily bacon would have been appreciated. I would certainly consider staying at this hotel again.

The staff was fantastic from beginning to end. Very friendly and helped out with extra pillows and needing a few minutes after checkout time to finish getting everything out of the room. It definitely could’ve been cleaner as there was a stain on the sheet and didn’t look like the bathroom, especially the floors were cleaned all that well. For what it was, I felt that it was a bit overpriced, especially for the middle of the week. I didn’t find them bad to be terribly comfortable, but that’s more of a personal preference. I believe I do not like a firmer mattress so again that’s just a personal preference. All in all it was fine but definitely could be cleaner better priced but I will say the staff was fantastic.

Ray at the front desk was great - very pleasant and helpful. Buffet breakfast choices were great. The lady putting the food out was helpful in answering my question. The rooms had hardwood floors so I could hear the activity/movements in the room above us. We were there for the weekend and I was disappointed that my dirty towels had not been picked up and new ones had not be issued, nor were the trashcans emptied. Ray did give me clean towels upon request though.

Good location and staff was very friendly! When we had concerns about the state of the room the guy at the desk did clean up the floor. The room was dirty. The floor has stuff all over it and was sticky. The bathroom and shower didn’t look like it had been wiped down or cleaned as they were dirty as well.

Breakfast was simple, but good, and the room was exactly as needed. Very clean and ready when we arrived.

the thin walls, and although you don’t hear the traffic from nearby highway, you feel the vibrations interrupting a good night’s sleep. This was my only issue after during my week stay. Otherwise the staff was an outstanding set of people and the breakfast was decent for hotel, with some healthy options. Hotel was clean, beds comfortable.

Breakfast was outstanding, variety of pastries, hot sticky buns, muffin, oatmeal, grits, sausages, yogurt, fresh coffee perks individually; the BEST . Many other dishes.

We had a large room with a very comfortable King size bed. The room was very clean. Breakfast was included and offered the same items as most other hotels. My husband said the coffee was excellent!

The first night the bathroom was not clean, I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the bathroom. The next morning the staff said the manager will call me and I never got a call. When I got back to the room it still was not clean and the manager was gone. The next morning housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 9:51 to clean the. When check out is 11. The manager only give me $30.00 off.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was so convenient and right there. The room and hotel was nice and we have no complaints other then the extra 100 dollar fee they take out until you check out. Then you have to wait 3-5 days to get it back.

The location was great, although we could hear some late night drag racing on the main road since our room was on that side. We had an issue with a clogged sink but the staff took care of it and when it got worse, moved us to a (quieter!) room. Breakfast was delicious each day as well

I booked this hotel while in town for a wedding. I was hesitant after reading several negative reviews and noticing that the hotel appeared outdated and overpriced ($218 per night), but since there were only two hotels near the venue in Columbia, I decided to move forward. Unfortunately, I had a family emergency early Saturday morning and had to check out around 9 a.m. to travel back to my home state. I had only checked in the previous day after 3 p.m. On Monday, I noticed I was still charged for both nights despite leaving early. After contacting Expedia, they reached out to the hotel on my behalf regarding a possible refund. The hotel responded that because my reservation was prepaid for two nights and they were sold out, no refund would be issued. While I understand policies, the lack of empathy and flexibility in an emergency situation was extremely disappointing. A gesture of understanding or partial credit would have shown basic compassion and professionalism. Charging a guest for a night they did not stay—under unavoidable circumstances—is unfair and unacceptable. As a teacher, every dollar matters. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable, only fairness. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for decent service, understanding, or value for their money.

The staff was wonderful. The room was very clean, and very large. The area was safe, and many convenient food options within a walkable distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was a bday party or some sort of family gathering the same weekend of our reservations. I had two rooms on the 1st floor, it got unbearably loud in the early morning hours. I went to the front lobby and asked if I could get different rooms. Without hesitation I was assigned two rooms on the 3rd floor. The staff was great, I really appreciated the fact that I did not have to spend time pleading my case at 2:00am!

Room was clean and very well maintained. The bed and linens were lovely. Water pressure in the shower was AMAZING 🤩. Access to shopping, dining and entertainment was WONDERFUL. I was traveling for work, but will definitely use this property for pleasure. Guest services was exceptional from check in to check out ☺️. I HIGHLY recommend this property!!!!!

Night staff was amazing. However, morning staff not as accomodating. Couldn't do late check out. Breakfast was not hot and they didn't have sausage or bacon that I could eat, eventhough I'd emailed ahead to ask for non pork. Overall, a very average stay as I was awoken at 4am by a baby in the corridors, I'm guessing they didn't want to wake the other parent in the room. What I did like was tge microwave and fridge in the room. Oh, and the shower door was missing a handle, on one of the doors.

I made a phone call asking if we could have adjoining rooms, spent 20 minutes on the phone insuring that the rooms were adjoining. Arrived at the hotel the rooms were not adjoining so I wasted $200.

Had to down grade room for 2 kings to 2 queens because the elevator was broken. Didn’t bother to give a credit or lower rate for the room

I am traveling with my elderly parents the hotel is being renovated and they’re are boxes on the floor where they can’t get in and they informed me that the elevator is broken and we are on the 3rd floor so I’m currently driving around Columbia looking for a hotel

Limited lighting in room. No info on where stuff is located or grow to use. Only one lounge chair pan suitcase rack. Bathroom needs magnification mirror for makeup. And hooks for clothing.

The rooms are wonderful. Property is under renovation in the lobby. It is surprising when you come in and see the walls are taken down to the studs but we were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were comfortable and clean. Very roomy too! Beds and pillows are great.

You should let people know the property is under construction 180.00 per night for a place that is under construction is ridiculous, very disappointed with Expedite.

Elevator was down during my visit. But staff was nice enough to mention this prior to me checking in. Not a deal breaker.

The hotel was nice and clean. However, the elevator was out and that was not advised when booking. So when we arrived, we had to carry luggage up the stairs. We are able to do that but some other guests struggled. Breakfast was very good and morning staff were very nice.

It was a great place to stay the rooms were nice, and the staff friendly and helpful. The only down side was the elevator was out of service and uou had to carry your stuff up the stairs to get it to your room. However, the staff did offer to help carry my stuff.

The property was very close to several dining options and coffee spots and gas stations.

Our family had to evacuate to Columbia due to Hurricane Helene. Check-in was uneventful. Ray sent a text checking on us. The lady at breakfast was very nice. She worked with me and the two little ones. The meal served on Monday was tasty. I looked forward to the same menus the next day, and was a little disappointed that it was different. Kayla was our housekeeper, and she was phenomenal. She made sure that we had all the fresh towels needed.The hotel manager, Kelly, was nice as well. No issues when I checked out.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was that the room darkening shade was broken and wouldn't go down. There was a bright street light shining in the window that kept me up all night. Other than that the staff was nice and the room was clean.

Not single point to mention in a bad way. One of the best Hotels we’d stayed. Clean the inside , aisle, rooms, corridors, outside, friendly staff, descent hot breakfast etc. We went to Fort Jackson and decided to drove a little more time due to the good hotels reviews and it worth tue $114 p/n with the hot breakfast. Everything was great we checked in and our first room the air conditioning wasn’t working so the GM herself came and moved us to another room she was very nice and sweet. Breakfast: I found it to be super inclusive of dietary choices and my kids ate every morning of our stay. The coffee was also alway available and good! Housekeeping: We left quickly and came back to a perfectly clean room. Our housekeeper Mason even folded our kids clothing at the end of the bed they threw off in a rush out the door. SO kind! Pool: Truly a great size. Very clean water and plenty of places to sit in the sun/shade. The steps are also big enough for a toddler to hangout and play, which is a huge plus when traveling with toddlers. Staff/Facility: Excellent! Everyone was so friendly and facility was clean. Location: We felt close to Fort Jackson, spent time Downtown, went to Riverbanks Zoo, and a Fireflies Baseball game. We ate at Egg Roll which is close by and AMAZING. Our map wanted to drive us through a neighborhood but the hotel is right behind the Circle K at the red light. When we initially arrived I felt like it seemed unsafe of an area but truly it wasn’t. The only con was the people above us seemed to allow their kids to run wild and scream until 2am. The desk did try to get them to stop though and that isn’t in their control. All in all we loved our stay!

The only thing I would say is the floor needed to be cleaned, and outside smelled bad. But the front desk staff was AMAZING.

Breakfast was very good coffee was good! On arrival the 1 and only elevator was being worked on had to take the stairs down 3 floors!

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I had an issue with the lock on my room door and it was fixed quickly. Everyone I interacted with was wonderful. The room was also very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was a minor issue with the faucet on my shower but it was easy to work around. Overall, this was a great hotel with fantastic staff.

The desk associate searched to find foam pillows for us when she was the only person working the desk because I am allergic to feathers. She also delivered them to our room and removed the feather pillows.
