    We stay here often and look forward to staying here everytime. The room is comfortable and always clean. The staff are all nice and welcoming. This visit the Assistant GM Jaysan went above and beyond and made sure that we were taken care of.

    Everything was clean, staff was friendly. The breakfast needed a little more effort. Coffee was extremely weak and the automated pancake maker was not working correctly. I paid for a late check out for 2:00, I had housekeeping knock on my door twice while I was resting with the sign on my door knob. I thought they may should have been informed of a late stay!?

    Upon arrival there was no hot water. The attendant at the desk told us that this has happened before and the issue should be fixed within an hour. It was not! We had to wait until the morning to get proper hot showers. Then the shower was extra slippery and the floor in the room was extra slippery. I have stayed at other Tru Hilton properties plenty in the past and have loved the experience but this one was horrible! It makes me rethink my loyalty to the brand!

    The staff was terrible. I am allergic to feather pillows and they told me that they did not have any and that the pillowcases were hypoallergenic, and it would not affect me and that’s a lie the host was very rude

    ALWAYS ENJOY STAYING AT A TRU HAVE HAD GREAT EXPERIANCE EVERY TIME BATHROOM AROUND THE FLOORS AND BASEBOARDS COULD USE A SOLID SOLID CLEANING. FLOORS SEEMED TO BE A LITTLE STICKY IN BATHROOM AND ENTRY WAY. BREAKFAST SEEMED A LITTLE LACKING COMPAIRED TO OTHER TRU LOCATIONS

    I was pretty shocked regarding the cleanliness of the hotel I have stayed at Tru Hotels before and absolutely loved the accommodations but this location was a disappointment. This location did not have a pool. It did not have outside seating and the parking was absolutely horrible that we had to park in the adjacent restaurant parking lot. The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was urine stains on a toilet seat.

    The location was close to my event, which was nice. The price was also good, but you get what you pay for. We were placed on the first floor along with the other people with dogs and had to deal with the dogs, barking all night and people opening and closing doors continuously. It was not a good night sleep. Very disappointing for a Hilton and my first experience at TRU.

    Manager and staff were friendly enough..I made the reservation and paid in full on hotels.com; I was told the room I reserved was not available and they wanted a card authorization of $50 for ' incidentals"; I wasnt necessarily troubled by that but if you pre paid this might be an un invited problem..Where I DO have a problem with this is that later when i went to the lobby for snacks for the kids-- they wouldnt charge it to the room-- you had to swipe your card again. What was the incidental charge for? I dont like someone attempting to get over on me.

    Staff courteous. Hotel needs repairs, run down from when I stayed a few years ago. Bed frame broken, bed sagged. Shower head corroded, trickles. Toilet whistles while filling. Lobby furniture worn, torn and stained. Pool table nice touch but top is worn, frayed and ball set was incomplete, rack broken. A new set is only $38 at Walmart... Check that guests on first floor are heavy sleepers since drunken guests in the lobby will be yelling until 4:00am. Not a restful night.

    The room’s AC was so loud that we couldn’t sleep. They came to look at it and suggested that we just turn it off which made the room hot. There was no reading lamp and the only lamp in the room had a light bulb that flickered when on. The staff member suggested that we keep the main room lights on if we wanted to read. The floors seemed to have water damage and the bathroom was not clean. This was a bad experience and we will not return.

    Nice place very clean except we had no room service . Went down to the desk that evening because our room was never cleaned to ask for room service and the girl at the desk handed us a big black trash bag and 2 towels for 4 people. Which was very unprofessional. And expected us to clean our room and said she was high. That is not something you want to hear while on a trip. Very upsetting. I would stay there again but with room service. 😔

    The staff was wonderful. Expedia says all fees and taxes are included. We have our small dog traveling with us. When we checked in we were charged an additional $75+$75 deposit. That was more than the room charge. I made sure to search for pet friendly places. You’d think any additional fees would be disclosed at that point. Save yourself $$ and call directly to the accommodative.

    People slamming doors, stomping across the floors, and talking loud so I couldn't get any sleep. I contacted the facility downstairs at 2:30 to 3:00 in reference to this. I canceled my second day I was supposed to see with them due to this issue. Some of the noise subsided but they're still where people talking loud.

    Was supposed to pay at the property. Got notified at 11am that my card was charged. The wrong card was charged based on the hotels policy of charging during the early shift. And since it was done thru a third party they couldn't fix it. Don't give a pay at the property if you can't.

    The staff at the Tru was extremely friendly! We called letting them know we would be arriving late and when we got there, the clerk remembered and mentioned us calling. The asst. mgr. was very kind at checkout and asked if we were satisfied with our stay. Breakfast was more than what we expected with a large variety of items. Very welcoming lobby that included a pool table! Would definitely stay here again!

    Did not stay after attempting check in at 10pm. Had reservation they acknowledged through Orbitz. Gave away our room and would not honor rate. Asst Mgr on site said they did not have authorization to honor rate since it was through a third party vendor. We opted to go elsewhere for less. They still processed our payment, but then credited it back in full. Unsatisfactory.

    Stay was ok, no microwave in rooms so you have to go all the way to lobby to use one. Pillows were all too soft, housekeeping/staff kept knocking on my door at 9am and checkout is at 11am very annoying

    I absolutely loved this hotel. I was there for work. My bed was very comfortable the study area was phenomenal. I would have given it a 5***** if it wasn't for the food. The breakfast was the only bad part. It was so generic and felt like I was eating fake food. Not enough items on the menu. If I do not return it's due to foot.

    I felt like i should of got back some money for having stayed on the 4th floor and the elevators was down the entire day. And i had to climb those stairs and the side door was not able to be accessed from outside on the side my room was on so, i had to walk to the opposite end of the building and walk up to the 4th floor and then all the way to the other end of hall. And when leaving i had to take 4 trips cause, i couldnt use a luggage cart.

    It was very average at best. We spent the prior week at a tru & it was much, much nicer. The bathroom door was almost impossible to open or close completely it rubbed so bad. The room seemed smaller than normal too with no storage space. There was a sign that said, storage space under the bed. Maybe I am some strange snob, but I am not putting anything under a hotel bed.

    Young lady at front desk was nice but I didn’t have access to the tv. She came to my room to test it and to see if it was low batteries. She could not get it to work, even by trying another remote she had. So I had no tv for my stay. She offered to see if I wanted to switch rooms but since I have to leave so early in the a.m. and had already somewhat settled in, it wasn’t worth the hassle.

    The property is in the heart of shopping and restaurants. The Mall is literally right across the street. So many food options on the area. It’s also close to the freeway to get in and out of the area. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. Breakfast being included is always a plus and there were a decent amount of food options too.

    We had two rooms booked. Rooms were standard nothing to bad. Bad thing was security was terrible. Cameras on the outside of the building in the parking lot were useless. 9 trucks in the parking lot broke into with windows busted out of each vehicle. Looks like they had help because no camera footage caught anything! Will not be staying here ever again!

    However the maintenance was poor, the door to our room had to be forcibly opened and closed, wallpaper was peeling, bed had no lamps or lights that could be used without the room lights. AC was very noisy and the tap house customers next door are even louder. Mattress was very cheap and bath towels thin and small.

    Prior to booking, I had seen some poor reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were pleasant, and the facility served our needs . The gym was great as well as the breakfast area. The rooms were decent and the beds were relatively comfortable. The only complaint was the water pressure for the shower, and the electronics for the blinds was not working in our unit. They were going to to have maintenance investigate, but it didn't get done in our week that we stayed there.

    Stayed with with family. Loved how close the shopping center was and other stores. However I was very disappointed towards the night. My child complained of a weird smell from the bed. Turnes out the complete bedding they were about to sleep on had some horrible sweaty body odor from the previous person that slept there. Either the sheets were not changed at all or not washed right. The staff was nice enough to give us some new sheets but doesnt excuse the fact that the bed was not properly changed and was unsanitary. We normally do book tru hotels but was very disappointed this time.

    This is our second trip through Columbia, and we stayed at this hotel. The first time, the hotel was brand new, and we loved our stay; however, it seemed overused this time. There were stains on the walls, the towels were clean yet dingy in color, and it did not seem well kept. The lobby seemed messy, with random items on the counter. I love the location, and the pet area is terrific. But the scent of staleness seemed in the elevator, and the black-out shade was broken.

    Overall, the stay was decent. Definitely not worth the price. Room was dusty but not enough to complain. Floor wasn't swept or mopped but I travel with a Swifter. The corners of the bed or sharp so watch walking around them. The slot that the ice machine releases from is rusted. The guest furniture in the lobby is stained and there is a tight fit with the current furniture arrangement. Decline of Tru since our last visit 6 mos ago. Will stay somewhere else next time if price doesn't lower. Decent for a 1-2 night stay but because there are no dressers you can't unpack unless "everything" is hangable BUT bring your own hangers. All else was fine.

    I like that the property was in a central location but the hotel itself was terrible. The smell in the building was stuffy and musty. One of the elevators was out, so you had to wait for the one that was operating. The rooms did not have closet space, terrible!! The air conditioner unit in room 205 sounded like a tractor coming on all night. The people that were in the room above me was so loud and stayed up all night. They sounded like horses running. I was not pleased with this property. And to top it off, the hotel kept trying to pull money from my card and I had already given my card upon checking in. They tried to charge my card beforehand, twice. While I was there, they tried another two times. I am very uncomfortable with this. Tru by Hilton Harbison, get it together.

    Facility showed a lot of wear. Shampoo empty, small rack in shower hanging off the wall, floor was dirty & needed a mopping, no cups in the room, limited plugs on nightstand. On the upside, the room was quiet & the breakfast was tasty. The gal at the desk was kind & helpful.

    The elevator was out and I was forced to go outside to use the stairwell up to the third floor without any sort of compensation. The people above us were really loud through 4 am.

    Elevator was down and the property only had rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor.this was not disclosed at the time of bookiing. Desk clerk said it would be 1/2/25 before it was repaired

    I wanted a place to stay for a New Year's Eve staycation and it was just perfect for what I needed. The room itself reminds me of a New York loft. While there wasn't a traditional closet, there was a space to hang up extra clothes and hooks to hang up your coats and purses. The property has a bit of wear in the room itself, but it wasn't enough to make me not want to book the space again. The only thing I didn't like was not having a microwave in the room, but there were plenty of dining options in walking distance and a mini fridge to store drinks for festivities or convenience.

    They didn't tell us they their elevators were down until after we checked in and then when they told us thst we had to walk outside to get to the stairs to get to our room the door wouldn't open with our keys like it said it would, so we waited for someone for almost 10 minutes to let us in and they had to keep it open with a rock! So unsafe if you ask me and I was charged $50 extra and they didn't tell me so when I called the girl got an attitude, horrible horrible

    My epxerience wasn't the best. Tru-hotels must be the lowest of lows of the Hilton Hotels. I would not take my family to this location. Upon arrival my daughter and i heard extremely loud gun fire so we knew they had to be close. So we got into the hotel better safe to be in there than ridk getting caught in a cross fire. Service next at check in/out were friendly. Breakfast food was terrible. Glad was only one night.. the restaurants around the hotel are pretty nice restaurants.

    Staff was very friendly and very helpful. But......as soon as we walked into our room we had to kill a small roach by the bed. Walls are very thin and could hear everything in the hall. Could hear people running on the floor above us as well. The inside of the room needed a little work but that was not a big deal. Bed was comfy. The next morning I had to kill another roach in the bathroom sink. And lastly, a couple of times I walked out of the room and the hallway smelled like marijuana. Not exactly the kind of stay I expected.

    Overall we had a good stay at Tru by Hilton Harbison Columbia. There was an odor in the only working elevator each time we entered. My whole family held their breath as we went up, as it was quite unpleasant. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

    The laminate floor in our room was coming apart. It was almost like the room had been flooded at one time. There were huge sticky gaps between the laminate. We had to keep shoes on the entire time. Other than that it was a great place to stay.

    Great site. However, I arrived at this moteland had a amenities charge of 50.00. Then to top it off, I asked for a receipt and was told I would get it from hotels.com The kicker? Statement on my bank was $ 75.00, not $50.00 that was on the pin pad. Fraud in action!!!!

    We just needed a place to stay on our multi day driving trip. We thought since it was a Hilton property it should be good. The reviews were good so I booked. This room and the property were extremely basic but our room felt dirty. The floor was sticky and made our feet dirty. There were gaps in the flooring and some substance coming out around the seams. There was hair in the bathroom and on our towels. The door to the room was stuck and very hard to open and close. No bedside table on one side of the bed. One desk chair so no comfortable seating. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

    I was previously excited about this new brand but already disapppointed. Elevator was out of order and worse there was no hot water in rm 108 - handicapped room. Shower sprays all over bathroom and there was mildew on shower curtain. Pancake maker is just silly.

    The room had bugs. I had to lift the tank top to pull handle to allow water to fill up toilet to flush. The A/C was broken, no hot water. The bedding was dirty. I tried using room phone for service, was inoperable. Called desk on my cell phone, call went straight to voicemail. I personally went to desk. Rep. Was on her cell phone. With a bed cap on, and hoodie. She said she could give me some bedding to change myself because there is no housekeeping at night or maintenance available. I could not shower, and was very uncomfortable with bugs. The next day, I called corporate. They spoke to Rick who changed my room. My son found roaches n his room, too. One elevator has been out of service for months. The hallway carpet is dirty and not maintained because there is no staff in the evening. This property should be thoroughly cleaned and maintained to prevent any potential illnesses or injuries. I will never stay at any Tru or any hotels associated with Hilton. No one wants to enter a hotel where floors are filthy and dirty. Never again!!

    Did not get a good night rest. The shade on window did not block out light from street nor daylight. Hence, I kept waking up every 2hrs. Mary checked me in and, she was Awesome. Breakfast was great. A lot of choices.
