Amazing price for what you get. Room was nice and big, well layed out. Bed was comfy. Very good location, more than enough restaurants to choose from and some shopping in minutes nearby. Breakfast was really well done. Only negative was we couldn't turn off the fan on the AC when we went to sleep. Other than that, an excellent stay.

The staff was amazing from the moment I checked-in to the moment I checked out! Breakfast was delicious, as is usual when I stay at Holiday Inns! I will probably stay there on my way back down to Florida in September because I loved it so much!!! Oh, and the Applebees Restaurant that I ate at which was just around the corner was also amazing...great food and great staff there as well!!

My fault for not looking at first.But there is no pull or hot tub , had I known that looked it up , I would not have stayed there. Overall, the place was nice.

When time to check out. The cashier said everything was good. And I know because I paid for my room the same day. Then when I checked out she told me everything was good. Then 30 minutes later she called me and said my card was blocked. She was trying to charge me again. I didn’t like that. I told her I already paid in full.

I did not enjoy the breakfast. The parking lot needs to be repaved. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work realize that while I’m in the shower. When the female front desk staff came to check it, I caught her sticking her finger in the dispenser trying to get the tube out… then she was going to try and put it back in the shower… No ma’am I need a new bottle…

Bathroom need to up dated. But still no to bad. Being at the end of the hall the AirCondition was loud when it shut off. But if you sleep hard it's ok. Staff was awesome. Food was great. Overall I would stay there again. Right in the middle of everything.

The staff was really nice, but the property was not. There was the smell of marijuana in the elevators and a foul odor as though the sewer was backing up in the hallways.was not very happy with our stay ! We were booked there for 2 nights, but we end up only staying one night and lost out on our money for the next night. Because we refused to stay there another night! We have previously stayed at other holiday inn expresses and this one by far was the worst one!

Hotel was very outdated and not very clean. We asked to check out after inspecting our room. Hotel manager was friendly and offered us a suite, better room but it wasn’t much better. The couch had stains all over it. The shower didn’t drain. The beds are very uncomfortable. We checked out after 1 night, we had booked for 3.

We arrived after 9pm. Tired from the drive. Mr.Daniel checked us in quickly, was friendly, and even helped to search how far we were from the gym my daughters were going to play basketball at the next day. The bed was very hard. The sofa bed was too noisy. The toilet seat wasn’t clean. There was no vent in the bathroom. The shower was too forceful and water was going all over the floor.

The smell was awful, and the carpets were gross and need to be replaced, and bathroom needed Renovation.

Staff was very nice, but I can’t understand why I was put in a room initially that was flooded - there was a leak immediately below room #213 in the breakfast area near lobby. Hotel isn’t very old, but it isn’t maintained well. Housekeeping might do a good job, but aren’t very discreet. Breakfast was typical offerings. Too many options in area to stay here again.

Our room was well appointed and comfortable - bathroom could have been a bit cleaner on the floor, but good enough. Bed comfy, good pillows, good air conditioner and very good shower pressure. Breakfast is a good choice - really typical of most Holiday Inn Expresses.

Overall, my stay was very good. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything in the hotel worked well. The only small issue was that the carpet had a slightly strange smell. Also, the room didn’t include toothbrushes or toothpaste. Other than that, everything was excellent and I had a pleasant stay.

The young lady that checked us in was very sweet, kind and courtesy. The breakfast this morning was the perfect temperature and it was delicious! They had a great selection and variety to choose from. While turning in my room keys at check out I told the front desk clerk.... The stay was great, food was delicious, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Each staff member that I interacted with were friendly and courteous. Breakfast offerings were great. Small bags were even provided for breakfast on the go. Beds were very comfortable. There are evidences that it is not a new facility but nothing that had a negative impact on our stay.

Property is dated. Room was clean but the linens could use replacing from stains. Bed was like sleeping on a rock.

Stayed for one night passing through to Florida. Beds were very comfortable but bathroom needed an update. Mirror was worn, vanity looks as if it was falling down, and door hinge was rusty. Front desk staff was friendly, but the morning we were about to leave the fire alarm went off and when we asked a housekeeper if it was legitimate, she spoke no English. Not too good if this has been an actual fire. Front desk said it was a faulty sensor in their kitchen. 😳. I guess for the price it was fairly good but will probably find another hotel if we’re in the area again.

Staff was very courteous and facilities were clean. The suite with 2 queen beds was perfect for our family. The downside to our room was we were on the 2nd floor and the blue lights on outside of the hotel were right outside our window and very bright. Some extra shades that fully covered with window would have been great. Also breakfast wasn’t ready until 7:30, not a big deal for us but other guests left.

The breakfast was not as diverse as some Holiday Inn breakfast we have had. Scrambled eggs, grits, bacon etc. The breakfast that we had was good but only sausage not pancakes or waffles. My husband loved the coffee machine though. The eating area was nice. Need more of a variety of foods to choose from. I was looking forward to some scrambled eggs and grits for a southern town and state. I was disappointed when there was no bacon either. The atmosphere was nice; liked the seating arrangements.

Given the price we paid for 1 night we did expect the room to be a bit nicer. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and bubbled up. There was mildew in the bathroom along the grout lines in the shower. The tub felt like you were going to fall through the floor and we could hear everything that was going on in the hallway. We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and never had a room that needed as much attention as this one.

Bathroom walls peeling and cracking from water damage, looks like previously flooded. Mirror in bathroom had gross rusty streak down mirror. Best thing about this place was the kind staff and great location across the street from a mall, Dave n busters, restaurants, etc.

Asked for a quiet room and was put right above lobby hearing the entrance door open and slam shut every 5 or 10 minutes. Filthy bathroom. Questioning if sheets were actually clean when spots were on then once I turned them down. Asked to be moved and desk clerk said they were sold out and couldn't. I will never stay here again. Worse holiday inn Express ever. Wasted my money for sure.

The room was really worn: old caulking, dirty carpet, rust. Also, I saw a few roaches and ants in the room. The breakfast was okay but they ran out of biscuits early in the service. Lastly, the breakfast attendant was arguing with his girlfriend on the phone while bringing food in and out of the breakfast area.

The luggage carts need to be serviced. I used 2 different ones. And both were hard to roll the one had a split tire. This would be a safety issue.,someone could get hurt if the tire failed or hurt trying to push a cart around that doesn’t work properly

Hotel was easy to find, right off I-26 in Columbia, SC. Renovated rooms, lobby and great gym. Breakfast was great, a variety of foods including hot and cold items and fruit. Personnel at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Area was adjecent to shopping and several restaurants. Highly recommendfor families, seniors and business travelers.

Due to a later opening on weekends, we were not able to access the breakfast.

The bathroom has water damage on tje door and it is in need of replacement. Would be nice to have a spare roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was too firm for me.

We only stayed 1 night. The room was clean. Breakfast was an amazing surprise. The options were excellent food was hot. Loved the pancake maker it was a cute novelty. Biscuits and gravy actually decent for being from a hotel. Fruit options bagels, muffins. Scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt and off course cereal for kiddos.

They did not keep coffee available. We had done a lot of driving from KY for my sons graduation at Ft Jackson and had to be up and out at 6 am for his graduation and there wasnt any coffee available. The room had a keurig coffee maker but it didn't work properly. We had to face the early morning without coffee.

Was not impressed with the cleanliness of the common areas, hallways, and elevator areas. Always was in need of a good mopping in our three day seat. Parking lot area needs to be repaired and repaved.

Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. We have stayed before and will stay again; however, this time our room smelled so strongly of dog/pet odor, it made us not want to be in the room longer than needed. Bathroom could really use an updating as its condition makes it look unclean.

The water pressure in the shower was great, everything was clean enough, and the bed was comfy. I was happy to see protein Greek yogurt and boiled eggs offered at breakfast. You could find more luxurious places, but you would have to pay more. You may want to know that the gym does not have a pull-up bar.
