Large property that had a plaza with Target in the back. Plenty of parking & a casino on the property. Outdoor pools as well. We stayed only 1-night as we were passing through for a cruise. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean & spacious, the buffet breakfast hit just right. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Everything was great! The last time we stayed there, the breakfast was not up. Breakfast buffet is amazing! We got a room in the 2nd floor and we got a view of the pool!

Hotel room was clean, Lobby was nice, staff were helpful and very nice. Breakfast buffet was not very good or have many options. Hotel itself looked old and needs updating. Best thing about this property is its proximity to different activities and location but for the price, it was worth it. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast was the same for the two days we ate there. Plenty of seating and food was good. They had potatoes, ham, eggs, sausage, bacon, danishes, croissants, chicken nuggets, oatmeal, cereal, waffles and plenty of drinks. Room was clean and had plenty of room. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. Flat as a pancake. Parking was a bit sketchy. They provide a code to open the gate to the entrance of the parking garage. Not sure why code is needed when anyone can access it from the other side. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.

They Upgraded us to a Suite . The breakfast was outstanding. And The Every Staff member we encountered was incredibly professional and welcoming

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was really nice with a great variety. The staff was very nice. The pool schedule did not work for our needs. It closes at 7pm which is too early in my opinion.

After reporting the issue, I was moved to a different room, but unfortunately, things did not improve. The second room had ants everywhere, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable and frustrating. It felt like the issue was not taken seriously, and the replacement room should have been inspected before assigning it to another guest. To make matters worse, the breakfast was also very disappointing. The food quality was poor and did not meet even basic expectations. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Cleanliness and quality should be a top priority for any hotel, and this place failed on both. I would not recommend staying here.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The staff are really nice and helpful. Room was clean with a great view.

It was cool

The views were the blue line and a terrible site. No iron to iron my clothes. I atayed there 3 nights and the bed sheets were nover changed. The cabinet where the towels were placed were dusty. Only one night stand for 2 beds. The only good thing I can say is that the staff I dealt with was nice.

Clean room, very spacious, beautiful view, hot tub felt sooo good!! Missed breakfast because I was so comfortable. Definitely felt like home away from home. Staff were super nice, fast, and efficient.

The breakfast spread is really good though. Egg patties, waffles, toasts, coffee, juices, fruits, flavored yogurt, deli meat and muffins. With 2 hungry kids, this was a great option for us. The rooms are OK, nothing spectacular. There was enough privacy with no disturbance or issues. The AC stopped working 1 night, but they fixed it in half an hour. So, overall good for a family of 4 with kids as we were coming back to sleep every evening and quickly leave after breakfast

Older rooms, but quiet and clean

The atmosphere was dark, floor fans were blowing everywhere on our floor due to leaking, it smelled, the buffet food was terrible, and the casino staff was rude. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

The overall experience was great

The location of the hotel was good. It was a shopping center and walking distance. The place was clean the things I didn’t like was the towels were rough. I had to buy a towel to use while I was there They were poor quality. The bed was too hard. It was poor quality. I never seen any more put chairs behind curtains in the room. It didn’t have a microwave in the room. I had to ask for iron and iron board to iron my clothes it was not in the room. The breakfast choices with interested they had chicken nuggets and waffle, fries, and spaghetti and steamed vegetables.

Breakfast was good , decent variety a bit better that standard breakfast you get at holiday in or other hotel chains

Terrible lighting for the Hotel, not a safe area. Had my Truck rummaged through in only 30 minutes after parking. Casino gets all the lighting and security. Will never stay here again.

Stay was great super convenient access to the metro. Staff was very friendly. Services available were excellent we had no problems checking in or with parking.

Everything was almost perfect. Flexible with check in, rooms were clean, amenities were good. Only that bathroom door knob was broken.

This Hotel is very nice inside. Clean with great lighting and the staff was awesome! We reserved one of their event spaces for a family celebration and decided to stay overnight. The rooms are nice and clean with refrigerators included. The complimentary breakfast was also nice. My kids enjoyed the fresh waffles! I would definitely stay here again in the future.

All the release and waiver items I signed gave me the feeling that my car and personal belongings were not safe when unattended

There was no hot water during my stay, I requested for them to bring towels my second day and they never did. They said I noted I didn’t want room service but who in their right mind says that for 3 nights? Bathroom had smudges, towels were rough. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable. The air is so loud you can sleep every time it kicked on it sounded like a bunch of banging. The bar at the casino doesn’t let you order more than one drink an hour and they make you feel judged if you drink rather than play at their casino. Would never stay here again. I can’t stress enough that the pillows suck and the bed is rock hard. Also, if you like the curtain touching your ass while showering then stay here but it’s a tight tub and the curtain is cheap - didn’t even have magnets to stick to tub. Didn’t take much pictures because honestly would’ve been a waste of space. But I did post their note for not having hot water.

I won’t stay there even for free. That’s all I’m saying.. major upgrade is needed..

I will say that the staff regarding my issues in my hotel room were quick to rectify however, it took them 3 complaints over a few days regarding the air conditioning in my family’s room before they move them to another room. Too much to write at this time. Overall experience was not that great for both myself and my family staying at this hotel. They need major improvements inside and out.

Once you know parking, it’s convenient and easy. Although, for someone coming the first time, it may feel complicated and uncomfortable. I loved that they gave us few water bottles, also checkout at 12 is a huge plus. The room is pretty nice. Bed was ok. It felt shaky and unstable. My biggest issue was gym. It’s on the second or third floor. And when I got there, I couldn’t use treadmill. Then I saw the sign that to use treadmill you have to go to the front desk and get a special key. Common! I was ready to exercise and only had 30 minutes, but now I had to spend another 15 minutes going back to the lobby, getting the key, then going back to the gym. Then go to lobby before going to the room to return the key. This was VERY inconvenient and time consuming. I am totally taking a star off for this experience.

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, as first impressions can often be misleading. However, a few days before our cruise departure, we stayed at La Crystal, and the experience was truly exceptional. We were so impressed that we chose to stay again after returning from our cruise and once again, everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like we were celebrating our honeymoon, not our 39th anniversary. Although the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, you would never know it the property is spotless and well maintained. A special thank you to Ms. Helen and her outstanding team for making our stay so memorable. And to Cynthia at the front desk, thank you for going above and beyond. Debating if I should book this hotel. At the end I booked it cuz its near to Dignity Sports Park. Arrived at 12:30pm and the chinese guy in the front desk helped me out and checked me in early even though my check-in is at 3pm. Really happy about it cuz i needed some sleep. Free breakfast as well!

This hotel needs alot of upgrading. Phone and tvs dont work in the room. Its an ok hotel if you just need to sleep but other then that i would recommend not staying here

Very old hotel needs some upgrades

Going under renovation so it is not the best looking. Everything was clean. The only thing is the courtains are not black out so as soon as the sun came out, the room was bright. The free breakfast was just ok.

They had breakfast that came with my stay. It was definitely better than other hotel free breakfast options. My room door was uneven you could put a whole hand under there.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. The hotel is located near many stores. Parking was good, it was in a garage under the hotel.

Its a nice hotel. The beds could have been a little more comfortable. Its 2025 the rooms need a makeover. But otherwise I would stay there again because of the area, it's close to everything which made our trip so awesome & the breakfast was good with lots of options.

Did not like the odour coming from carpets in the hallway to the rooms and very noisy all night due to close proximity to the major arterial routes.

The property is very nice and is well maintained. The parking was a little weird, but once I figured it out, it was easy. I would stay here again when I am in this area.

Perfect staycation hotel.

The lobby is beautiful but the stark difference upon moving to the upper floors with rooms was shocking. The carpet is very old and there's a lot of minor cosmetic flaws riddled throughout. Feels like going back in time but not in a good way. The rooms are also really old and the beds were very worn down and even on the bedding there were stains. The bathrooms also looked very worn down with peeling paint and coating peeling off the bath tub. There are other hotels not far with competitive pricing that offer much simpler designed rooms but look modern and fresh. A simple remodeling could do so much and i would rather support business in my home city when possible. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast options are excellent for the price but I cant recommend staying until some work is done on the rooms.

Very good place!

I was pleasantly surprised by the LA Crystal Hotel. They have all of the comforts and amenities that one could expect. I especially appreciate the secure parking. Breakfast buffet was adequate and more than you would get at most other hotels that include breakfast. Good food options close by. I walked to the shopping plaza but be warned. There were vagrants present asking for handouts in the bushes behind the shopping plaza. I would stay again. The staff was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable.

It was good. This time we only used it to sleep. But we have stayed here for more than one night and it’s excellent service. We will stay here every time we need to spend time with family in Los Angeles. We live in Palmdale.

The check in was amazing....the agent accomodate me in a highest costumer service i just didnt get her name...she was awesome!

This hotel offers great value for money and is located in a fantastic area, with a shopping district just a short walk away. The hotel is clean, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade that included a bar and a lovely view. Additionally, the hotel features a casino and free parking. While it’s an older establishment, it is very well maintained.

The carpet was very dirty. The kid’s bottom feet were black after walking in the room without shoes.

Not a great part of town

The room was very spacious, fridge, coffee maker,safe,good view of mountains on east side. Depending on traffic at times it took 30 mins to Disney. Breakfast was probably the best selection of all my hotel stays. staff were all very friendly and kind. Shout out to Fred who is the best. Lots of security in lobby and outside which makes you feel very safe. Pool and jacuzzi were nice. Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great hotel experience at a very affordable price for all you get. Had a wonderful stay.

Everyone was really nice, there's security walking around which made us feel safe. Breakfast food was mid. We saw a couple of homeless people walking around outside the hotel but in all it was a pretty good stay. Super close to a little shopping area.

On the last night my son got bit by bugs on his arm ear and eye while we were asleep we had to take him to the urgent care for treatment

It was a solid place to stay. A little old and run down but great for the price. And there is complimentary underground locked parking which is a plus

Honestly I really enjoyed the hotel overall. It’s older in decor but I thought that’s what gives it its look. They do a very good job keeping it clean. We appreciated the security around the hotel and the security of the parking garage. It was nice to have parking secured. I will say the breakfast isn’t good at all. That’s my biggest complaint right there. Sushi and macaroni salad are not breakfast foods. The staff was awesome and so kind and helpful. We definitely would stay here again. Minus the breakfast lol

The hotel had easy check-in. The staff that we came in contact with were great. The restaurant connected to the hotel had great deals and the food was wonderful. We had a great time with the family. Would visit again.

The easy reach to freeways makes this easy for Long Beach, Downtown LA and airport if you're driving. (There is a nearby Metro station Artesia tho the train can be a bit "rough" and has a recent reputation of trouble though I had no problems and I used it) The hotel is centered by a huge retail park with the big stores for most shopping needs (clothes, electronics, household goods) as well as some restaurants. LAX is approx one hour door to door with public transport the train and bus. Car /Uberwould be slightly less. The area felt safe at all times.

Hotel was good and clean. room was roomy, kept clean and maid service was good. Breakfast was very good. Complimentary water bottles in the room every day. Pool was good and clean. The only draw back, the bed was really uncomfortable.

Hotel is in a off patch of LA and without a car, not sure how you would get around. Quite a drive from main attractions, local to long beach which was a favourite of ours to visit. Rooms are very dated,lots of traffic on the freeway nearby so wouldnt be able to have window open when it gets too warm in room

The area felt safe. Although a little out from the centre of LA (30-40 mins via public transport), the hotel was well located for public transit to LAX and to Long Beach. The only negative was that the gate which used to directly connect the metro station to the hotel is now sealed off - so it is a 10 min walk from the station (bus and metro) to the hotel...and probably one you would not want to make with any luggage more than a backpack and small wheelie case. Overall, a great stay - and I would happily stay there again.

This hotel is really good to the price. Excellent breakfast. They had variety options from waffle, sausages to flavored yogurt. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Hotel lounge entrance looked new, but rooms, even though they were clean, they looked old. Bathroom shower needs upgrade, and Bathroom needs more light. There was free breakfast, which we didn't expect, and it was ok.

The negative was the bed was not the most comfortable. We stayed there two different times and the second room we received did not have a tissue holder in the bathroom.

This is real hotel not like other motel same price charge but this hotel give you value feel comfortable and the view was so great. Stuff friendly.

Our room in the La Crystal hotel in Compton, CA was extremely clean and sanitized. The service was real nice and the breakfast was superb. The hotel is conveniently located next to, but not in the immediate vicinity of a large strip mall. Covenant for shoppers.

Definitely older building, rooms are clean, but very old and dated. Feels like 1970s las Vegas. Price is appropriate for how dated the rooms are. All the essentials are available, breakfast was good, definitely worth $90. I appreciated it the underground secured parking. I would stay here again

I’ve stayed here several times in the past 3 years. There was a manager named Mike but I have not seen him the last two times I stayed. My stay this time could have started out better. I was placed in a room that looked nothing like the rooms I’m used to staying in. The furniture was old and a yellowish color, no desk, refrigerator on the floor and the beds were terrible. I asked for a different room and at first I was told that was the only room and that I would not be able to upgrade to a King bed room. After waiting for about 20 minutes I was told they had a room for me. I’ve never experienced this at this hotel before but glad it was rectified.

Convenient, especially beds are comfortable with a comforter. Morning breakfast has a variety of choices which is a plus 👍
