the outdoor pool was not clean it felt yucky, the a/c would barely cool down it felt really sticky inside the room, it does have an old smell. the front desk lady was the sweetest , we did not get to attend breakfast. the rooms are clean , bathrooms are clean a little outdated forsure. they do have shampoo, conditioner, body wash , had no problem getting extra towels and blankets& toilet paper. it's a 50/50 definitely needs to be updated and ac fixed and the pool needs cleaning especially because it's summer and kids love the pools at hotels

Clean room and the upkeep was really good. Breakfast consisted of eggs with peppers, sausage, cereal, and waffles. Nice stay.

I liked the convenience of the location. The air in the room felt a bit wet and stuffy, but a dehumidifier helped this.

I liked the bed. It wasn’t so high. I didn’t have to use a stool to get on it. There was nothing to like.

The carpets were were terrible, need some serious replacing. Room felt too humid even with the ac unit on. The elevator made wierd sonds as it went up and down, I may need to call OSHA about that.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The suite was a perfect size and having the bedroom separate was the best part! I highly recommend the Hawthorn.

It was a nice quiet, clean hotel that is centrally located in the middle of the city. You also have great access to different restaurants and shopping locations.

The hotel checked all of our boxes, but we also were pleasantly surprised by how clean the room and hotel were. The pool and hot tub were great, appearing to be clean. We greatly enjoyed the breakfast, and so appreciated having a bedroom separate from the room with the sofa. My adult son has a hip condition, so I always have to find a room with a sofa for him so he can sleep comfortably. He appreciated the privacy, too. God willing, we will be back and often! There was nothing to dislike, but I did find it odd that there was no fan in the bathroom! The beds were a little bit on the hard side, too, but we still greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The staff was great. Amenities were great and the breakfast was great! The door in our room locked us out and we had to wait awhile to be able to get back in and the carpet in our room felt gross and sticky.

Pool and hot tub was nice but closed at 10 bummer. Room was a lil small but clean. Comforters could use upgrade.

Double bed roosms beds where smaller than usual, I could hear the neighbors easley and the a/c vent made alot of noise, other than that it was a nice place

Everything was good, breakfast was typical free breakfast, plenty of options. Pool was good and hot tub nice and hot.

My husband and I stay there very often. Nancy and Ashley are the very best they are always friendly and accommodating. Infact we consider them our friends now and always look forward to seeing them. We stay in the same room each visit which is now become are special space. There's NOTHING we don't like !! The location and property are perfect.

To start with,Nancy Hernandez at the front desk was great and very friendly.i requested a quiet room and sure enough she advised us to stay in a room she recommended.nice,quiet and clean.nice big TV,but unfortunately very few channels,and not much to watch.very nice pool.overall it was a nice and pleasant stay.

breakfast was not good. Staff during the day was pleasant which was the saving grace, but night staff was not friendly.

I made a last minute reservation and was stressed. The young man on evening shift made my check-in a pleasant experience by being kind, professional and accommodating. I am accompanied by a medical service dog and she was also treated with respect. That was my first night in Corpus Cristi, TX. where I am staying for six months. Payment in cash was also accepted and that is always important to me. The elevator broke each day. I got a call from a day-staff member asking if my dog was a service animal or not. That had already been noted when I checked in.

It’s always clean and great location I dislike the fact that I can’t close the curtains. Too much light comes in from the outside.

The lobby music was too loud. It was blaring where we could hear it through the door but did not want to say anything. The bed had a HARD mattress that made it hard for us to comfy.

Shower head water pressure is too weak, what good is it to get a room if you can’t take a good shower. The ac wouldn’t go no lower than 66 degrees, which felt a lot warmer than that, to the point that the room felt humid , not comfortable. The room did not get cold till the morning.

The staff was very helpful and super friendly. It has a gym sections with treadmills and it also has a wonderful pool and spa. Located in South Padre Drive is very centered close to everything. Plenty of parking and secure entry. Overall it was a great experience I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place.

Old hotel needs updating. Not worth the price! .75oz bottles of hair products for a room fit for 4 people! Bring your own bathroom products, for the price, shouldn’t have too. Staff was nice. But hotel leaves a lot to be desired!

Everything was fine and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only thing that need work was the jacuzzi. It looked like dirty, dirty people had been bathing in it. The water was actually brown. The pool was nice though.

The water pressure in the shower was very poor. I am a well built, well built gentleman, and I like strong water pressure Other than that or stay was great comforting and we felt right at home.

My family came to this hotel in distress after our first booking at another hotel did not go as planned (pool under renovation with no notice) From the start, everything here at Hawthorn Extended Stay was awesome. Excellent location, good sized outdoor pool and working hot tub. Breakfast each day was on point, with slight changes to the main hot items each day (bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, sausage and chorizo, sausage and southwestern omelet) The hotel itself was quiet, hallways smelled good, beds were comfortable, and the extremely spacious rooms have central air! Our room felt like a little efficiency apartment, and our family of four was able to spread out. Every employee we encountered was polite, and I'd like to give a special shout out to Nancy, the hotel manager, for taking such good care of us and extending our stay to match our previous reservation at the other hotel. Our vacation was saved, and we will most definitely be back next year. Awesome experience!

The beds were too soft and lumpy. I didn't sleep well at all. It seemed as if the mattresses were old. They need to be replaced for firm ones.

The property itself was clean and nice. My only gripe is that they play music in the hallway, for ambiance I guess. I was traveling with a larger group (6) so we had to utilize the pullout bed. I had trouble sleeping because of the music being a tad loud. Maybe turn it off at night for quiet hours?

Only issue was keys... our phones have magsafe, which kept erasing keys... otherwise, great stay, really enjoyed the king suite, and breakfast was pretty decent. Could offer better coffee, but that's just nitpicking

AMAZING !!

Where do I begin? First of all my family of 5 came to Corpus for our very FIRST family vacation. Got roomed next to 8 DRUNK, LOUD women, the drawer face fell off in my hand the 1st couple minutes we checked into our room, the floors were dirty with old skittles and hair in the tub, I was charged for a $50 check in early fee when i checked in at 11am and not 1pm whoch should have been only a $25 extra fee, the toilet seat was completely ripped off the base for the last two days of our stay with no resolutions, the maid did not clean our room for two whole days after being at the beach, the pool was nasty from constant use, Nancy and a male worker were the only accommodating staff there. However, if you want extra soaps(we forgot ours in the rush), towels, bed sheets they will have you walk down yourself to get those items. Meanwhile, I'm paying 100+ a night to stay here for 4 days. We, sadly, had a horrible stay here. I feel sick even knowing I spent hard earned money to stay at such disappointing hotel. It felt like every day we went down to the front desk to get our key card reactivated, too. Honestly, i wanted to ask for a partial refund for the two whole days we went sitting on a sliding toilet seat. Pinching our butts and struggling to use the restroom the whole time for 2 adults, a child, and two toddlers. The staff didn't seem to worry too much that we were having a bad time and had no solutions to anything. We wouldn't even change rooms. Nobody has reached out either..

The hotel is in good shape, pool was nice, and our room was clean, and serviced all three days we were there. It's not close to the water, but has easy freeway access to get you going to the tourist attractions you're going to visit.

Wyndham properties have won me over. I've pretty much decided I will only stay at Wyndham properties from here on out. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They went above and beyond to ensure I was pleased with out stay. The breakfast was excellent. Nice, clean rooms and hotel property. Will definitely stay here again.

I like the design of the pool. I did not like the following: There was ambient music in the halls 24/7. This made it hard to sleep through the night. The lobby was very cold late at night and early in the morning. All of the outside card readers need to be replaced. They did not work half of the time. The hot water took way too long and was not very hot. If you are going to leave tea out 24/7 then leave a variety not just one kind.

I really like the staff the housekeepers were very nice amazing and the front desk girl was a really nice and inviting even the lady that served the breakfast she was very sweet I would recommend this hotel to anybody I had a one bedroom suite that was very nice and very clean!!

Great service, the breakfast bar was fully stocked and all the food was delicious. My kids were only disappointed because we couldn’t stay longer. Summer trip is already booked and we’re coming back here for the great service.

My family and I stayed at Hawthorn for two nights. Staff was nice. It was just the property that needs to renovated, for example the restroom, the sink needs to be replaced. The hot tub looked dirty but the pool was clean.

From the front desk to the food and housekeeping, they were all so kind, helpful and attentive! We stayed for 3 days and it was the best experience, will use this as our go to hotel when we visit Corpus as we frequent it often. I am big on reviews and after researching, found this to work best for us. Not only affordable but it was like home away from home.

We arrived & the hotel smelled wonderful & FRESH, so I KNEW the room was going to be perfect. I used the link to check-in, then upon arrival I was greeted by the front host. Whomever she was when I checked in at 1, thank you for being so inviting. We were there for football games so we didn't stay. We came back at 9pm. The entire hotel is CLEAN. the elevators are clean, the hallways smelled fresh and the ROOM was so FRESH & CLEAN, this hotel is DEFINITELY in my top 5. For those who have kids and travel for sports, this is what we need when we travel and play games all day & night. Little Dove soap and lotions were in the bathroom, towels were folded neatly, I have NOTHING BAD to say or complain about my room. The ONLY thing I will say is the night lady continued to question me as to why I needed a pillow and blanket. Lol. I didn't like that because I put that in my request when I checked in. After going back n forth with her, she ended up giving me a sheet and a blanket. The situation was, I needed extra bedding for the pullout bed. There's a sofa sleeper in the room, and normally hotels we've travel in had the bedding inside the closet. This hotel didn't, or ATLEAST my room didn't, so I had to get some from downstairs

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. Check in was easy. Rooms were clean. Had a very clean smell. The beds were very comfortable. The building next to it looked pretty run down and there was a homeless person outside the building. But other than that the stay was fantastic.
