    When we arrived, we took out the fold out bed and it was full of hair, dirt and a dirty q-tip. As far as the extra set that is stored in the closet: the pillow had long black hair on it and it looked like they had a hair product because it looked greasy. Also, the blanket from there was missing. When I went down to ask for one, they didnt have any washed. The bathroom door hit the toilet everytime i opened and closed it. The ceiling looked like it was renovated and not painted. Breakfast was good. But the tea bags were wet. :/ So I didnt use them

    The breakfast is standard with breakfast included. The bar was not stocked so if you drink you could only take shot. The pool was clean but if you can not handle cold water it not for you. If while your in the pool it was still cold you could not adapted to the temp. The elavators needs to be serviced. One was out of order and the second is going out.

    The location was perfect. Unfortunately, my family and were here only for a family funeral at Seaside Memorial Services. The hotel was clean, well maintained and friendly staff. The indoor pool did smell or chlorine awhole lot though. The Saltgrass Restaurant is right next door too.

    Great experience overall. We had plenty of room. The guy that checked us in had superb customer service! There were 2 adults 2 teen boys and a 6 yr old. We had the double queen suite with the pullout. Plenty of room for the 6 yr old to run around and boys to stretch out. They had plenty of towels for room & pool. Great breakfast hours. Floors were even clean. Plenty of breakfast with great hours. The pullout had a dirty makeup stain on the corner, but we were too exhausted to worry about it & the water gets warm for showers but not hot. The pool water is cold. I'd definitely stay here again.

    Nova was wonderful in the front! I’m an exclusive pumper and she was so helpful with our fridge not working properly and got my milk taken care of until they could swap our fridge out! We had a wonderful time at the pool and would stay again!

    The hotel is old for me. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, but the side stink like mold. Like the sofa was cleaned with a dirty wet towel. So either need to get the smell out or replace it completely. The breakfast was ok. The swimming pool is small.

    Overall look of the property is real great, the lobby looks clean and upscale, the breakfast is great, taste real good, however it seems the staff cares too much about waste or did not calculate correctly as there was constantly lines forming due to food running out, same with coffee. Rooms also looks great initially, but the cleaning staff could do a better job, there was a lot of dust and strains in the floor that could be easily removed but stayed there as if overlooked. Wife and one of my kids allergies spiked up during the stay and stopped a day after checkout. Lastly they don't tell you in Expedia that the property will charge you $100 as a retaining fee in case of any issue, that is supposed to be back to my card after a few days after checkout... We'll see.

    Maybe I missed it during check in, but we had no housekeeping service during our 3 night stay. I am used to at least having beds done, even with no towel service. We did get clean towels on our second night and trash out, but no beds made. Not what I am used to and don't recall anything being shared about housekeeping. Overall, good location, price point and would stay here again.

    House Keeping let another family into our room while we were sleeping. When I went out to the Hallway to see what was happening the same Family was checking all visitor doors on the 4th Floor. Reported the issue to the front desk but they said a manager wasn't available until a few days later. Reported issue to Hyatt escalation Team and they never followed up on the HIGH Security issue.

    The walls by the desk had some very large green buggers stuck on the walls that was just absolutely nasty to look at. To top it off, the room also had German Roaches. My children and I had to kill 3 of them our selves. Absolutely a terrible experience, and I would not trade Hilton again for this place.

    The property seems nice and clean at reception but unfortunately it stops there. Our door needed to be body slammed to open and close it. The floors were filthy, mold in the shower, "fresh" towels smelled. This isn't the hotels fault but the guests the floor above us must have had 18 kids or inconsiderate adults that ran and stomped all day, all night and all morning. The blackout curtains are ill fitting and let a lot of light in.

    No waffle maker for the breakfast?! Broke my heart. Although, they did serve hot food which was nice. Trouble with the AC as well. I dont think I have ever been hot in a hotel room and there was no adjusting it. They provided a pack and play for my baby which was so convenient and lightened our load for packing.

    Out of the 4 days we booked, our room was not cleaned once. No towels or sheets. We ended up staying an extra night and still nothing. The breakfast buffet was chaotic. With a singular man filling up his plate with all the sausage. The pool was good. My kids had a great time swimming. The washer and dryer were out of order so I couldn't wash anything I needed to. The girl who worked the night was always so very helpful and nice. She always did her best! Overall I'd like to stay again but would love to see rooms cleaned or even just beds and towels touched up everyday. Limits at breakfast. Most of all happy workers, aside from the woman at night.

    Inside back door was a strong burning smell coming from the service room. Hallways smelled like dead fish. Rooms do not have microwaves and the only ice machine for guests wasn’t working. Also, rooms were not ready for checkin by 3pm on the first day.

    The biggest issue was the smell—both the lobby and our room had a strong mildew odor that never went away. It made the environment feel unclean and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also extremely lacking. They would come in just to drop off towels but didn’t sweep, clean, or even take out the trash during our stay, which is basic service you expect at any hotel. To make matters worse, I actually got stuck in the elevator, which was frustrating and concerning. Even when they were working, the wait times were ridiculous—expect to wait 10–15 minutes just to get on one. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

    We paid a significant amount for a five-night stay, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations for a hotel rated over four stars. Upon arrival, one of the queen beds had what appeared to be dried blood and makeup stains on the comforter. The pull-out bed for my son was also in very poor condition—the mattress was extremely thin, and he could feel the metal bars underneath. We requested a replacement comforter and extra bedding for padding. Although the manager assured us these would be delivered, we never received them despite following up. There were also major cleanliness and maintenance issues. The hallway walls had visible mold, and the walls in our room were dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. The hot water was unreliable due to issues with the water heaters, and at one point, another guest mentioned trying to fix them. We also had difficulty getting towels, the pool was not clean, and there was a recurring sewer odor on our floor. I spoke with the manager several times, but no action was taken. At checkout, he offered a discount and said he would follow up, but I never received any communication and have not gotten a response to my email. There were other issues but since i dont have enough room to text it, I just covered the basics . Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.

    Close to plenty of food places. Right next to saltgrass. Great breakfast! Didn't feel too clean. Not enough towels in the pool area. Fridge was not cooling much. For the price it was a bit too much. Also if you have a couple kids, may need to bring extra trash bags.

    When my husband and I came in no one greeted us . A young lady was getting assisted we were next . A white couple came in behind us and the next attendant who saw us come in proceeded to help them ..... We eventually received check in service. The blanket on the bed was weirdly lumpy. I think we had a room with water damage it was a mildew smell. I had disinfect spay with me anyway I'm glad.

    Clean Hot water issue, elevator issue, at check in room was not ready til 6pm. , it was difficult to scan key at some doors due to out of order, ice machines not working, bathroom lock next to gym and pool was not working, hotel manager was not able to be reached by the staff all weekend. Our surprise was that our room key stopped working at 10 a.m when check out time was at 12 noon.

    The pictures in the app are misleading. It’s a runned down property that got a facelift. Our door did not properly close due to the floor being crooked, which was a major safety concern. The room was dirty. Pool was cold, doesn’t seem like the heater was working. But the absolute worst was having to shower with cold water, when I asked about it at the front desk, they told me I could talk to the manager the next morning.

    Very friendly staff. It’s an older hotel but it’s clean and comfortable. Truthfully the best bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. I needed to be near the Bay Area Hospital and this was perfectly located for that. The management, especially the GM was very accommodating and flexible with my reservation, especially during Spring Break.

    I called the day before to book a room with a heated pool and I was told it was heated. When we got there my kids went to the pool and the water was so cold. Not heated at ALL! I asked a maintenance man about it and he said the heater had gone out the day before (the same day I booked). 2 of my kids got sick from the water being cold. And then we go downstairs that evening for snacks and my granddaughter bit into a chip and said “it’s gross”. I checked the expiration date and they had expired.     We didn’t get the room reserved, the door to the room was open upon arrival, the shower had mold all in it, the ac leaked water all on our floor, the pool never had towels so you had to ask the front desk, the elevators always seemed to be making weird noises so made me want to take the stairs, very large roach was hanging out in the elevator lobby, and lastly, our room was never cleaned after our first night before they switched us rooms.

    The room was clean. The janitorial staff is awesome. There was a coffee pot with 2 servings of coffee but no bottled water to brew it with. Thankful for the coffee at breakfast in the a.m. Staying in a hotel for 5 days on a busy schedule without a microwave in your room is not ideal. At least invest in a few microwaves to rent to hotel guests during their stay. The room was clean. The queen bed was so hard and lumpy it was really hard to sleep, I never hurt physically and I was in pain every time I tried to move during the night Also the water would only get warm. So, no Hot water for an enjoyable shower. I enjoyed my time in Corpus, The hotel was decent just not what I’m used to. Also , I feel you need to know about an incident. I arrived late, called and let them know. Upon arrival at 4am there was a very old, beat up police car in the valet area. Kinda reminds you of a horror show. I asked the clerk about it and he stated it was his ride. I apologized for calling it “Jankey”. He then proceeded to tell me he has a badge and vest to. I asked if he was a Corpus Christi officer and he said NO. He said he ordered them online. That is very creepy to a single female from out of town to know that the man that is supposed to be securing the hotel, plays toy cop.

    The room I first got stunk very badly. The floors were sticky and slippery. The bathroom smelled like urine. They gave me another room and it smelled a little better but the floor was still slippery. Also the bathroom floor was swollen and the tile was all coming up and couldn’t open the door all the way. There was mold in the shower. This used to be a nice hotel. The common areas are still nice but the rooms need a do over and they need to get better cleaning staff.

    The cleanliness of the room was great,the staff was excellent we had issues with one room the heat wasn’t working but they acted quickly and moved up to a different room. Which was great as well. The hot water wasn’t really hot in the first room but the second was nice and steamy. Not sure if it had something to do with how many people were in the hotel this weekend. (Might want to check on that,regardless of the capacity of hot water should still be working) Overall love the experience I would say change up the breakfast menu a little bit.

    The room was not clean. There was old take ou plates in the fridge. The linen for the foldout bed was in the closet in a linen bag and it was dirty. The floor was super dirty as if it had not been mopped in days. I had to wear socks in the room which I had to throw out because of how dirty the floor was. Also the body wash bottle in the shower was empty and the shower was not clean.

    I've been a customer here for a while. This last time, we didn't even get room service (trash to be out, change sheets, new towels). We were there for 3 nights/4 days. The housekeeping was literally next door when we left the room, so we assumed it'll be done. Got back to our room untouched. Had to ask for clean towels at the front desk. I was told a GM would call me about the situation. It's been over a week and still haven't received a phone call.

    Room floor had a huge ball of hair that looked like it was pulled out of the drain and left in center of room. All ice machines were broken. I used weight room, water fountain not working in weight room, after my workout I went outside to patio by pool to cool off. I tried to get back inside and the keycode pass (where you slide your card) was not working. I was locked outside on the patio with no way to get back into the building and no one to call for help. I had to use a chair and climb over the fence to get out of patio enclosure. There was not a sign on the inside door stating key not working or you will be locked out if you exit to patio.

    Room 130 ac was not cooling was 78 degrees on arrival and 80 degrees on departure after two nights.. called front desk about issue I'm the am and also told front desk about issue later that same day in the evening.. nothing was done or offered to switch to another room. 2nd room occupied was 126 had a wet smell. Nothing major but noticable. Not the Hyatt experience I'm used to having at this location.

    We stayed in room 423. As soon as we walked in I noticed the door was “swelling.” So much around the door hardware it didn’t feel safe. The bathroom door is also dragging the tile floor so bad my wife couldn’t even close it. This mixed with a very musty smell and staining around the smoke detector in the room tells me this room had experienced a flood at sometime and it clearly wasn’t repaired properly. I’d look elsewhere.

    Other reviews mention recent renovation, but this place feels very old. The elevators jerk, unsurely, the room door would barely open or close, and the bathroom had zero ventilation making the whole place moist for hours. But the staff was good, especially the breakfast staff which were excellent.

    I should have listened to the reviews, but after reviewing other hotels in the area, I chose what I thought would be the lesser of the worse options. Just walking into the hotel, you get a scent of dog. Not overwhelming, but not what you want to walk into. The front desk person was pleasant. When I got to my room, it smelled musty and was pretty humid and not exactly cold, despite the air condition turned down to the 60s. The shower had mold around the bottom tiles and the bathroom door was difficult to close; the bottom of the door scrapped the tile. Very disappointing. I travel monthly for business and generally don’t write reviews, but I was pretty disappointed in this hotel. Certainly wasn’t worth the price.

    The hallway exhibited unevenness, indicating potential foundation issues. Additionally, the entry and bathroom doors were challenging to open due to a shift in the foundation. While these inconveniences were not insurmountable, they did detract from the overall comfort of the room. The most concerning aspect of my stay was the behavior of Adam at check-in. We ordered 2 queen size bed room. When we arrived at the room, we discovered that the air conditioner was malfunctioning. Upon returning downstairs, we were informed that the room had been overbooked, and the only available queen-sized bed was the one that had been assigned to us. This situation was frustrating, as it resulted in a significant inconvenience. Furthermore, Adam admitted to being aware of one queen-sized bed with a broken air conditioner but was unable to identify which one. It was evident that he had assigned us the room that was the last available, which is unacceptable. In conclusion, my family has decided to avoid Hyatt Hotels in the future due to this incident. We expect honesty and transparency from hotel staff, and we were deeply disappointed by the experience we had. .

    Room was run down. Bathroom door was chipping all along the bottom and would rub against the toilet when it was opened or closed. The curved shower rod was sagging and loose at the walls so the shower curtain would slide to the middle and water would fly out everywhere when showering. Room door had to be pulled hard before it would latch. TV remote was sticky and only worked half the time. Ice machines were not working. Place just needed to be maintained better and had areas throughout the property that seemed to just need a maintenance persons attention. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was decent.

    The hotel itself is a 5 star but the customer service is not up there. I booked a room with two queen beds since I was staying with my teenage son and dad. Upon my arrival the front desk clerk informed me that they over booked 12 rooms and that I was lucky to get the last room available. The only room available was a room with one bed. I'm glad I was able to get a room at all but not happy that it was not the room I originally booked. Over booking people is unprofessional and it shows how unorganized they are.

    The staff was great. The room was very clean but we did see critters on 2 occasions. Usually this would be reason enough for me to relocate but everything was booked. The pool was good just sand at bottom as expected. Breakfast was good, but they had no microwave. Also, no microwave in the rooms but there was one by the ice maker.     Wallpaper was peeling, floor was dirty, there’s no microwave in the room, there old wiring attached to the back of the tv, that no one uses anymore. The windows stool (sill) wasn’t even attached. The beds were fine but under the bed, disgusting. Only one elevator was working. There were no clean pool towels at the very small pool (I asked, there were none. Staff gave me regular towels to use though). The breakfast was the usual but it was so packed, we just grabbed what we could and took it to your room to eat. The location is convenient and safe. I wouldn’t stay again though.

    Ice machine not working Microwave the 3rd floor only for everyone to use Bed was alright My room said it came with a microwave but when I told them I had no microwave in my room they told me they couldn’t change my room cause they were sold out and only some certain rooms with King sized beds had microwave. This made my stay soooo inconvenient and plus the room where old and had water leak stains on the ceiling and cracks on the walls. Doesn’t look like what they advertised in their ad. And the property was so rowdy lots of children running up n down the halls n stairwells.

    Inside our room, a strong chemical odor lingered, and dust covered multiple surfaces, including the mini fridge. Most concerning, dog waste sat outside the front entrance for four days without removal which was a clear sign of neglect. Housekeeping was entirely absent during our five-night stay. I called repeatedly for towels, tissues, toilet paper, and trash removal on days two through four, but received no response. I asked housekeeping staff directly as I passed them in the hallway and they assured me towels would be delivered, dirty ones collected, and our trash emptied. None of those promises were kept. It’s disheartening to experience such disregard for basic hospitality standards, especially from a brand like Hyatt. Guests deserve better.

    I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. One of the two elevators was out of service, which caused inconvenience during my stay. The back access door did not lock, raising serious security concerns. The room was not thoroughly cleaned; the floors appeared dirty, and there was a persistent wet/mildew smell throughout. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was leaking water onto the floor, creating a potential hazard. The restroom door did not close properly and would hit the toilet, affecting both privacy and comfort. Only one of the three ice machines was working, and only one of the two Tesla chargers was functional. The breakfast was repetitive, served the same every day, which became quite monotonous. To make matters worse, I saw a roach walking on the breakfast table, which was extremely unappetizing and raised concerns about sanitation. Overall, my stay was far from satisfactory, and I hope the management works to address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

    There was a nice filtered water dispenser in the lobby. The AC was good and cold. The beds were comfy. Reception desk was attentive to needs of guest. Continental breakfast was good consisting of scrambled eggs, hashed browns, and varying meats - one day was spicy beef chili meat, the next day was sausage links. They ran out of tortillas. Bread kept getting stuck in the back of the conveyor style toaster oven. The kitchen staff was attentive to needs of guests also. Cons: There was only one of two elevators working. On Saturday morning I saw a long line of 10 or more people waiting to up the elevator as I went down to check out. The ice machine was broken on the third floor. We had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice. The pool was dirty and the pool water was cloudy so we did not use the pool. There were no pool towels in the pool area. There were no towels in the exercise area. There are signs of age and usage in the hotel. There was dust in the RJ45 jack in the wall. The springs on my door was not strong enough to shut the door completely- I had to pull on the handle to have the door fully locked. Location of the hotel made it difficult to enter as you got off the exit ramp. You would have to either u-turn and come back to the driveway to the hotel or go through the back way and cut through the movie theater parking lot. Hopefully they finish construction and make an exit ramp that allows easier access to the entrance drive.

    I won't be staying here again. Elevator was not working the first day. Ice machines also broken. Advertising food that is not even avaliable. Not near the beach like some of the reviews state. Walls and ceilings must be made of paper cause you could hear everything and the people above us were stomping and running in their room until 3am.     The elevator was broken and one side made a grinding noise when you went up. The bathroom toilet would have issues when flushed, the bathroom floor was wet when we first checked in. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper numerous times. The second morning I called downstairs to have my room cleaned, when we returned from breakfast the e room was still not cleaned. We asked 3 more times for them to clean and take out trash and it was never done. Never again will I stay here. The hotel was dirty and wi th er not staffed properly on a holiday weekend and dirty.

    From the moment we checked in 'til the day we left, we were given great customer service. The friendly faces my family and I encountered made are stay better and comfortable. We will stay here next time for sure.

    Dirty floors, encountered a couple of roaches, hair in shower and on toilet, couldn’t use sofa bed because it also had lots of hair and what looked like dust mixed with lint. First night we had a choice of really really hot water or extremely hot water. Lady at the front desk apologized and said none of the issues could be solved that night and there was no other place in hotel that we could shower. We had to go for the really hot shower after our day at the beach. Second day the shower was fixed and we decided to stay since we had set our stuff in that room already. If I could rate staff at the hotel separately I would give them four stars. For the most part they were very friendly and happy to help. The breakfast staff definitely deserves a five food was great and kept at the right temperatures. They were very nice and most importantly the whole area was kept clean at all times no matter how busy they got.

    The bedsheets in our room didn’t appear to be clean. When folding out the sofa bed for our kids to use, there was a dirty footprint on the fitted sheet and the sheets didn’t seem like they were changed. The front desk staff was very helpful bringing us more than enough sheets to replace them with though.

    The carpet in the hallway going to the room smelled, there was small black bugs on the a/c and window, some water alomg the baseboard. The employee at the front desk was very nice. The hotel issues has nothing to do with the employee. I had other family members stay there and had the same issues, other guest were also informing the front desk employee know.

    Under the beds were absolutely disgusting!!!! My daughters toy rolled under the bed and when I went to get it, there was old food wrappers, haven’t been vacuumed in probably ever. It was horrible! I just tossed the toy. The beds were so worn that they were hard and incredibly uncomfortable. They were supposed to clean the room every other day and it was not done. One elevator was broken and the other sounded awful. The pool wasn’t a saltwater pool and the roof needed some definite repairs. Only one treadmill worked in the gym.

    The hotel “bar” consisted of 5 bar stools and the front desk clerk doubled as the bar keep. Breakfast was extremely sad also. The worse part of the experience though would have to be when I made the mistake of sliding one of the beds closer to the half wall as a fall prevention for my kid. The amount of filth and feathers and even a large fake eye lash left behind was extremely unsettling from under the bed. The air conditioning also sounded like it was holding water everytime it shut off you could hear the water gurgling in the machine. The toilet took atleast 5 minutes to refill and all lights in the bathroom area flickered pretty bad. I would highly suggest management getting a handle on maintenance while they still can.

    Extra blankets: "Sorry, we are out of it" with atone as if I am annoying him. When reminded that it is hotel's responsibility to provide basic amenities like towels, or give me partial refund "For me to do that, you need to vacate the room right now" They were out of half of breakfast items an hour before the closure time. Ice machines didn't have ice.

    The room is need and clean. The front reception staff is worn and friendly. The breakfast lady on Sunday morning (05/25) has no basic sense of hospitality and service. Definitely the breakfast lady needs the training on basics of customer service 101. Overall a decent hotel.

    The room was amazing. The breakfast was good and hot. However the ventilation in the hotel was not very good. The hallways were very muggy and the vents in the hallways were dripping water. Not enough towels to go around. When you would try to ask the front desk no one was available.

    Then for a nice property they only had one washer and dryer that looked older and the dryer was messed up it was so loud that someone kept stopping the dryer so our clothes would not dry. But the staff was helpful on that and dried our clothes. Maria and Jay were nice and helpful. Maria was a very nice lady and made me feel better after the experience we had she was kind and caring. I would suggest for a nice property like this they should have more than 1 washer and dryer and upgrade. Also respect customer privacy more and if someone says it is not them look into better before accusing a family on vacation over and over of disrupting peace. I felt harassed. The person calling in to report should not be respected more than our peace and comfort to enjoy our vacation.

    Room was great. Seating area for breakfast was not as large as needed.Seems like there were more people than there have been before when we stayed there. Kitchen staff was excellent. There were two and they were doing the work of four. My only complaint, was the beds. Like most all the hotels, they have gone to the 'hard Firm' mattresses (because they last longer). I think a pallet on the floor would be softer. My back and whole body hurt from the hard mattresses.

    When we first checked into the room I first went to the restroom in our hotel room from the drive and found dead roaches they ended up giving us a new room but did not comp anything we should stayed at our usual place we go to but wanted to stay closer to family and this happened next time we will not stay here again nor recommend to others. Floors were also dirty like if they never mop the rooms just sweep but will not stay here again.

    Floors were dirty (in room and also throughout the hotel. Furniture was worn. The bath tub would not drain properly. Luke warm hot water that took at least five minutes to reach Luke warm once the shower faucet was turned on.
