    One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The coffee was just as impressive, rich and satisfying. I also loved the drinking water machine; the water was incredibly clean and crisp, which was a nice touch that you don’t always find. Overall, a wonderful stay with thoughtful details that made a difference.

    Overall nice place but don’t trust what anyone says now a days. I shouldn’t have left until the credit was completed as I am worried it won’t occur now. Also booked at hotels.com but receipt provided from hotel itself was less so shop around so you don’t get ripped off.

    However, the toilet in our room was not working from the time we arrived. We reported it and were told it had been fixed, but it still did not work. We were then told maintenance would come, but no one ever resolved the issue during our stay. Because of this, our family had to go from the 5th floor down to the 1st floor every time we needed to use the restroom. While we made the best of it for the kids, it was still a significant inconvenience and not what we expected from our stay.

    The breakfast was great, staff was friendly. Room was spacious. We paid for extra space because we have three children. We were supposed to get a sleeper sofa in our room, but the room just had a regular sofa and the cushions were leather and they kept falling off of the tiny little sofa. It was very uncomfortable and my son did not get a great night. Sleep on this tiny sofa

    This is our family’s third stay and we enjoy the location for our kids, the breakfast, and the view facing the bay. Our televisions did not meet expectations. The one in the double queen suite was messed up. The screen was very black around the edges and not very viewable and the one where the sofa bed was at the internet connection was not working.

I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at [Hotel Name], which was quite disappointing and fell far below my expectations. Upon entering my room, I was appalled to find it in a filthy condition. The carpet was dirty, and there were blood stains on the blankets and sheets. This lack of cleanliness is unacceptable and made me feel extremely uncomfortable throughout my stay. I had also been looking forward to enjoying the pool, but upon inspection, I found it to be very dirty. I was genuinely concerned about the possibility of catching a bacterial infection, which deterred me from using the facilities altogether.     I truly enjoyed my stay.I Booked an ocean view room that was fully furnished with a refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher as well as utensils and soap for the dishwasher. The room was clean and super cute! The bed was comfortable as well. Once you get settled in you can walk across to the shoreline and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast was on point. 😋 And low foot traffic on the floor i stayed on. This will definitely continue to be my spot when visiting.

    Great location to walk down to the beach. Sometimes local events going on in the area. Nice bar and super friendly staff. Parking on premises is $15 for self parking. Breakfast is great. A lot of options and very clean dining area. Would recommend for families and plan on staying again.

    So I normally stay at this location every time I go into corpus and or going to the beach I normally don’t ever have a problem with any of my requests. However, this last visit was one that I couldn’t believe even occurred. I arrived at the hotel late afternoon after check in time on a Saturday and there were no rooms available the lobby was full of people waiting for the same. The reasoning behind this delay was they had been at capacity the day before, but that’s all I was given I requested for extra towels did not receive. Later that same evening I had requested for a late check out and the overnight representative cannot find my Bonvoy number and told me I had to call to get it after providing that information. The only extension that could be in given was one hour. I asked for courtesy to be later, considering that my room was not ready the day before and was told that was not an option. The water pressure for the shower and the sink was minimal, but since I was only staying one night, I figured it wasn’t anything to be concerned with considering I was only staying one night I went to breakfast the following morning at 8 o’clock and unfortunately, that was also a disappointment. The food was cold. I’m not understanding what happened with that considering all my other times have been fine. Lastly, this location has a bar and Saturday night. There were patrons that were beyond inebriated. I’m being extremely belligerent and obnoxious.(no more space to continue my comment.

    Excellent breakfast Convenient to all of our planned attractions Housekeeping was not great for the price - they did not set up our room for three guests and did not provide linens for the foldout bed. Had to get our own linens from the front desk and make up the bed ourselves upon arrival. They didn’t have pillows that night and had to ask for them multiple times the following day. Housekeeping didn’t empty trash cans in our room after pthe first night and they skipped our room the next night - had to request towels and trash service

    i honestly LOVED this room because it was beautiful and perfect but the one thing that i hated was i slid in the restroom and NOT when i was showering yet because the vent didn’t work ! my oldest son did the slits when he was getting water hot for shower plus the tub is so slippery that we had to put a towel in the shower!!! One last problem was the room was extremely HOTT because it only has 1 a/c bent while the living room was cold due to more than 1 vent in ceiling. But besides i absolutely loved the room!!!! i’m already planning my trip for next summer. Thank you so very much!!!!

    Best kept secret on Shoreline drive! Not sure how we missed this option in our 3 years of coming to Corpus. Best breakfast (get the hours or you might miss it as we did on our 2nd day here). Spacious room with full fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher if you need it. Will definitely stay here again!

    STOP CHARGING FOR PARKING!!! You are ridiculous. The whole area around the hotel has free street parking. And no one who is not a guest would be trying to park in the hotel lot. You are just trying to bilk customers who don't think of alternatives. Beyond that: I booked for five people. There were three towels in the room. The couch they show in the pictures is not comfortable for sleeping. Also, housekeeping did not come the second or third day of our stay, so I had to call down both days for service. Poor quality pillows. Mediocre breakfast.

    Comfortable hotel with an ideal location across the beach. Restaurants and bars in walking distance. I was disappointed to learn their Heated pool was not working, main reason why I selected this hotel. I called the day before and I was told it was working. Customer service was good during check-in. I requested extra bedding and it was delivered to my room quickly. We really enjoyed breakfast, many options available including gluten free. They also have a bar available in the lobby that serves Happy Hour.

    I enjoyed the property but the service could have been better it took me three times to get fresh towels and I had to go get them . We needed extra towels because when you ran the shower and it would go all over the floor and when the floor was wet it was very slippery . I did like that there was an ice machine in the fridge. I wish there was a restraint in the building instead of just a bar at night .

    We chose this hotel because of the location and because it was pet friendly. The room size was perfect as we had plenty of room even after setting up our pup's kennel. Would have been even better if we had stayed longer because everything we needed to cook and dine in except for the food was there in the kitchenette.     The front desk is so nice! Some of the best service ive had actually. Quick check in, friendly, we went for my sons 4th birthday..belated as it was during hurricane Beryl. They were so sweet and let him pick all the treats he wanted from the snack bar for free. They allowed a late checkout for like 20/ 25 each hour was perfect for us. We checked out at 2. Breakfast was your normal continental breakfast but free so wont complain. We couldnt really use the pool at night because another large group was already there and blaring their radio which i thought odd they allowed. Just not 4 yo old appropriate so we didnt go. The morning though and early afternoon was way better, cleaned from the night before and quiet lol with a few us a couple other families with their kiddos. My 20yo daughter misses the bed already and we stayed in plenty of hotels as we travel. The service made it one of our new favs!

    We visited Corpus Christi to watch the fireworks over the bay on July 4th. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our king studio suite was the perfect size. It was very clean and provided a good space to relax after being at the beach. There were plenty of places nearby to eat. And it was right next to the water! Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back and ask to stay in the same room.

    My family and I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming. I felt they were so happy to be taking care of us. Breakfast was great. The property and rooms were very clean.     The hotel had easy access to beach and nearby restaurants. Overall it was a good stay . The only issue was their breakfast. We stayed during the weekend and it states their breakfast is available until 10 but most of the items were put away or not refilled past 9:30. If that’s the case then they should move the time that their breakfast is open for. I’ve stayed in other hotels and they will replenish until the time breakfast ends . We went down at 9:20 thinking we still had plenty of time to eat but that was not the case .

    We’ve stayed at this property multiple times since it’s been open. Was great in the beginning but overtime it’s just not the same anymore. The cleanliness isn’t there. The rooms don’t look or smell fresh/ clean. In fact our last visit we had to change rooms because there was pet odor and my partner (who has sensitive ankles) had a flea bite almost as soon as we entered the room. Not at all up to Marriott standards we’re accustomed to. The staff is friendly and helpful enough, and it is a great place for happy hour but we have booked elsewhere on our last 3 visits. Very sad because we really enjoy the location and nautical theme.

    Staff was nice, hotel was clean. Barely any hot water and no pressure. Pipe burst on the fifth floor and I had to vacate my room for two nights.

    We did have two issues that the property should consider evaluating. The couches are very slippery and uncomfortable. We stayed with my disabled father, who was having surgery the next morning, and he had a really hard time sitting on those couches because the cushions slide forward. It was uncomfortable for everyone who sat there, in both rooms that I rented. Another issue that we had, was that we requested a walk-in disability shower. The first room that we stayed in did not have any barrier between the shower floor and the actual restroom floor. There are two drains, so I believe water may slide out of the shower. However, we didn’t feel safe with my dad using his walker and walking Through the restroom floor as wet and slippery as it was, so we had to put down several towels to dry up the floor after each shower because there was no barrier. The second room I rented on the second floor had a decent walk-in shower with a small barrier that worked out well. I still rate this hotel highly and would happily stay there again.

    This is probably the best loding option in Corpus Christi. It's relatively new and beautiful. t also has free breakfast and laundry options. And, it's right on the Bay. The only negative...which is so easy to fix...is the the free breakfast is served with paper plates and plastic silverware. For such a nice hotel, it would make sense to invest in real dishware and hire an extra person or too for dishwashing. Otherwise, the hotel is "top notch" and we will always seek to stay here.

    Front Desk staff was great. They assisted us in getting our room earlier than we expected which helped us get ready for an afternoon graduation ceremony. They were kind enough to wish me congratulations on my graduation and made the entire check-in/check-out process and our stay stress free. The bartender was great when we stopped by for a celebratory drink and the Lobby Attendant helped us with directions for our dinner reservation. Convenient location, nice suite and a view of the bay! Overall a great stay and great staff, thanks!!!

    Laura at the front desk was especially nice and accommodating. Unexpectedly we had to change hotels and arrived at 9:00 asking for early checkin if possible. Laura had something ready by about 2:00. We noticed the rest of the staff was cheerful and accommodating, always asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay more pleasant. Well Done!

    These people charge me $600 for a TV that I did not break. I don’t know what happened to the TV or, whether any TV was actually ever broken. But this certainly seems like a scam. Be sure to photograph everything in the room before you leave.

    Firstly, parking was a real struggle. The hotel seems to have limited parking spaces, which meant I had to circle around multiple times before I could find a spot. For a place that caters to out-of-towners, this inconvenience can set a frustrating tone for the stay. Another issue was the soundproofing between rooms. I could hear almost everything going on in the room next to me, which isn't ideal if you're looking for a peaceful retreat. Lastly, the beds require attention. The mattresses seemed quite outdated and didn't offer the level of comfort I expected from a hotel of this standard. A mattress update would significantly improve the quality of stay. So while the Residence Inn Corpus Christi Downtown does have its merits, these drawbacks impacted my overall experience. With a few tweaks, this could be an excellent place to stay.

    Only thing was the mattress was not at all comfortable. Seemed it needed rotating. Head of the bed was sunken in and feet was higher. So I slept backwards second night.
