    Everything was great the first night. The second day, I requested for the room to be cleaned and it was not. Second morning found a roach in the room. Asked again for our room to be cleaned and they went in bit just did a wipe down, the floor was not swept nor mopped. Don’t think I will stay here again!!

    The space available in our suite was good. Conveniently located near shopping and food. The large fridge was a plus! However, there sheets were pilling, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom (a little alarming) the bathroom towel rack was laying on top of the toilet and the floor in the whole place didn’t seem to have been vacuumed. There was no where in the two room suite or the living are to hang anything. There were no sheets or blankets for the pull out couch, and when we went to ask for some, we were told they didn’t have a key to get them, but we could wait for some to come out of the dryer. That was fine, except it was already 11:30pm after a long day, and we had to wait even longer due to the employee not having access to something basic. I might be willing to give this place another try just because most of our issues might have been directly related to this room.

    Breakfast was good. Location was alo good. They messed up the booking and charged me extra for the changed room. Dishwasher wasn't working. Bathroom exhaust wasn't working. Empty body wash bottle in the bathroom. Only one trolly for entire hotel. No response on any of the above complaints.

    Property looked grumpy. Poor curb appeal, lawn not maintained. That sets the time of how the units will look. Items in the unit were broken, left behind. Carpets dirty, just overall disappointed with the quality and hospitality. Will not be going back.

    There was a member of the hotel staff using a slim jim like device to break into my room at 12:00 midnight. I was told it was a mix-up but this is not a place you want to stay. The staff is unprofessional, irresponsible and all in all incompetent. Stay at your own risk.

    Our rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was impressive, and the attendant worked furiously to keep the food and coffee filled. The eating area is a bit on the small side, but the staff handled the crowd well. I did notice the workout facility appeared to be under renovation, but since I was on a fishing trip and not a workout trip, it didn't bother me at all! We will definitely be back.

    The front desk manager was sweet and helpful. When I got there I was promised to check in early when I got there that didn't happen. The front desk manager didn't know the room was going to be ready so she called the housekeeper manager it was a lady short with curly hair I don't remember her name but she had an attitude. She's like I don't know nobody will promise you anything check your time it's not it's at 3:00 I said okay I'll be back. Came back at 3:00 to check in room wasn't done the lady was still in the room that they was trying to give me it was 305 then when done front desk manager went to go check the room one of the bedroom doors was missing off the hinges so they couldn't give me that room. Then it gave me room 204 that room wasn't clean right dusting if you look on top of the refrigerator mind you I'm short so if I can see over the refrigerator and look at the dust that was a problem. The microwave the outside trimming around it was missing and the plate that belongs in the microwave was not in there. The microwave was dirty and had hair all in there. They didn't really wipe down anything I had to do it myself thank God I carry Clorox ones.

    very convenient location and the staff is incredibly friendly. as a bonus, the elevator is extremely fast and quiet. if you travel frequently, you know that this is a big deal. the beds and the pillows are oddly perfect. always a room issue. on one visit, the AC was out. on a another, the dishwasher was broken and chirped constantly. on yet another, the ice maker in the fridge was broken and, it sounded like a barking dog all night. the front desk response is always, an enthusiastic "we will get it fixed right away." unfortunately, it doesn't happen. nice response though. like I said above, the staff is really friendly.

    Booking did not show remodeling. Pool, hot tub and everything was unavailable. I ran out of toilet paper and asked the front desk for more. They said they would send it to my room. Over an hour later I had to go back to the same person and the front desk and ask again. Poor amenities and service. Hotel was dirty from construction. Worst experience ever at a Residence Inn and there was no price adjustment. It should have been closed.

    Staff was great. Room was spacious. The only bad side was that the pool was out of service and after that, were sent to another pool nearby at Spark hotel. We tried it and found pool bottom was dirty, water felt very thick and air was moldy. I would highly recommend better not to send people to that pool.

    This is literally the only property in Corpus Christi that is up to the standards of other hotels in more populous places. I would say at least 95% of the “top properties” in corpus have horrific humidity problems in their rooms. This property is one that is pristine with beautiful rooms and fantastic upkeep, as well as HVAC systems that function as well as ones in a regular house. During my current trip, I stayed in four different hotels over the first two days, because I just could not lower myself to the standards of these other properties. When you come to corpus, though, be sure that you pick this residence inn. There are two others, and while I can’t vouch for the quality of the downtown one, the other one on the south side is horrendous. The people there are lovely, but the property is absolutely the pits. This SPID property has fabulous friendly and welcoming staff, wonderful amenities, and has the feel of being completely new. I will never ever stay anywhere else when I am in corpus!

    Well check in was a horrible experience. I was charge twice for my stay. They did eventually reverse one charge and just waiting for my money to drop off pending. I felt unsafe in my room due to strange females banging on the doors and yelling obscenities. Didn’t see security at all in the hotel property.

    The hotel is being remodeled beautifully with some inconvenience to current guests but still a very good place to stay. Our room was excellent. The desk service is excellent. The breakfast was a full one,excellent and even had very good orange juice.....an item that many hotels fudge on. My wife and I will be staying here again

    huge amazing spacious stay! i was there for 4 nights and got the 500 square-foot room with the king bed, living room, dining room room, kitchen. Felt like a little apartment. The TV didn't work. It was having issues so we're both the neighbors but I don't really watch TV I had my alexa speaker and laptop. It is probably regarding the new TVs or the Wi-Fi. I'm not sure but that didn't affect my stay. the the pool was also closed which sucked, but they said you could go to the next-door hotel (no thnx)

    We didn’t realize that with our 2 night stay we would not get fresh towels or trash service. The front desk did bring us a minimal amount of towels when requested. Unfortunately, our room did not have a clean, fresh smell. I did feel the need to sanitize and wipe everything down. There was quite a bit of loose hair on the floor that my socks picked up. We did like the layout of the room. We were next to the Home Depot and they were moving materials at all times of the night and early morning. Carla was truly the sunshine to each morning. She always greeted us with a smile and asked how our trip was going. The breakfast was fairly good with multiple options from bagels, to cold or hot cereal, to waffles and sausage. The location was great! We were near anything we could have possibly wanted. Overall, the stay could have been better with more frequent room cleaning and a better room that wasn’t near the Home Depot.

    Bedroom tv volume has stuck at full blast. Drawers on dresser would not stay closed, opened themselves all the way, right into the limited walk space at the foot of the bed. Both rooms had the same issue. Could not access WiFi at all. Otherwise, it was just “ok”.

    It was disappointing to see how below the standards this Residence Inn was in terms of what what I expected. I never had to worry about my stay at any Residence Inn before this stay. If it was possible I would send pictures of the inside and outside absolutely terrible. TV's not working, dishwashers not working, outside seating area in terrible condition. Absolutely disappointing.

    Loved how nice the property was! The breakfast was also always super tasty! The only issues were that we found a cockroach there; they came and sprayed the next morning. I also called about there being a bee in my room and no one ever came. My cat almost got stung and I had to take care of it myself. Honestly, other than that, it wasn't that bad.

    Wall paper was peeling in kitchen, no towels when we arrived front desk lady said there was towels in the room 😳… luckily I had brought my own beach towels, because we were supposed to go relax on the beach… She said she found us some pool towels. I was glad she ended up giving us some kind of towels. She did go out of her way to give me a spatula to cook with my son is autistic and his routine was a pancake at night. Hallways smelled of mold so sad. Property was ok .

    I have stayed at several different Residence Inn before and always like convenience of having a full kitchen w/my stay that is why I chose this option. But this stay was not quite as satisfactory as I would have like. I put on my Expedia that i wanted to pay there at hotel but before we could even check out they already had charged our card. The room also did not have cable, when we called maintenance advised that changes were taking place and they were sorry that we were not informed ahead of time. So all they had was Antenna access channels....That is not at all Okay- But after you are there what can you do .

    I was very surpised how roomy the room was. Dog friendly, very clean, breakfast was good. No issues with room at all. Best hot shower ever and nice cold A/C. I highly recommend staying there. Only issue i ad wasnthere was a nat issue and saw maybe 2 roaches in room. But we had a full kitchen to access and use wirh diahes , silverware...didnt need to brung anything from home and close to reatairants and grocery stores.

    Friendly staff, quiet inside the hotel (not so much outside--Home Depot forklifts morning and night). Several little things in the room that were annoying to us but could really upset those more detail-oriented (broken ice maker, drawer that won't stay shut, no landline, burned out light bulb, kitchen faucet won't move), elevator malfunctions 3 of 5 days, front door malfunctions 2 days.

    Way short of expectation. Tired facility... basic items need maintenance. Lights inoperable in all appliances. Inadequate stocking on towels, wash clothes, etc. No spare pillows or blankets. Hallways, elevator, foyers... littered & unkept. TVs not working, commodes kept running., indoor pool unheated... cold as hell & unusabedle, no hot tube/spa, outside courtyard ant/bug infested & furniture broken/worn out. Hot breakfast minimal, repetitious menu.

    The hotel room needed repairs to things that were simple like loose door hinges but annoying. The first suite we got the heat was stuck on 86 degrees. They moved us to another suite but again just small things needed repairs. Also we were here 3weeks and when they supposedly serviced the room they didnt actually clean just straightened and then didnt restock tp, tissues, soap, etc. Really not sure what they did?

    Andrew was super helpful to get extra towels since we didn’t have enough for 3 in the room. With a sofa bed, the linens/blanket/ pillow should be in the room and not needing to pick up late at night from lobby. Towels were kid size. Items were not available at breakfast nor at social hour in lobby.

    Toliet had a leak. We were told it will be replaced while we were out and that we will have our towles to be refreshed. Came back to find wet towels still surrounding the toliet, hardware on the toliet, and no clean towles. Was not informed the replacement wasnt successfull. Had to switch rooms only to fund the lights in the kitchen did not work, outlet by bed did not work, and bed was really different from our first room. Extremely uncomfortable. Lawn surrounding the hotle severely over grown. Some spots almost as tall as me!! Mosquitoes through out the lobby and in our second room.

    OK place. Needs to be cleaned. The hotel Is dated and the carpets In the dining room area and lobby need to be replaced ASAP. The breakfast in the morning was OK not the most attentive staff. Again, need to clean. The receptionist were nice I have to say. They need to up their A game. This will probably fall on deaf ears. I feel like they’re short staffed and trying to maximize their profits.

    I picked because pet friendly and had an indoor pool. I had the first room by the exit and it was pretty quiet, clean and very roomy. Our room had a small sectional, two burner stove fridge and microwave and dishwasher. Fully equipped with dishes, cookware and utensils. Plenty of room outside to take your pets found no doggie poo baggies it was empty so went and bought some. I was disappointed the pictures of the pool are misleading… it was literally like 5-6 feet across and only maybe fit 1 family of 4 so definitely would not want to be in it. Other than that had fun at white cap beach nearby, plenty of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and fishing nearby.

    The room was nice and was large. The tv offered Netflix with the sign-in of your own account and thst was great. They were severely understaffed, though the staff was great and polite and hardworking. The pool was ridiculously small and more like being in a big bathtub. There was a stairway with trash bags for 2 days that smelled disgusting! The back door was broken sometimes and couldn't be used to get to parking. With children, that was frustrating to have to go all the way around. The room keys didnt always work, so that was really frustrating, but the staff was quick to help and friendly. The parking was often filled up nearly to capacity, but we managed to find 1 spot always and thankfully! The elevators were super small and couldn't fit the luggage carts if anything was on the ends of them. The breakfast was great.

    My family and I took a quick visit to corpus and we stayed at the Residence Inn. We were so pleasantly surpised. The accomodations were very nice. Location is close to so much. We really enjoyed our stsy and were very comfortable!

    The room was very good , overall ac didn't work very well was very hot during the night for what i paid it should be cool to say the least . Kitchen utensils for cooking not in good shape plastic spoons were broken .

    It is close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Indoor pool. Supposed to be heated but the day we used it, it wasn’t heated. We would have rathered stayed closer to the beach but we were helping my daughter out and needed to be closer to her home. But overall it was a pretty nice place.

    Old property outdated furniture and roaches very disapointed in Marriott and the pricing 4 day stay $768 was outrageous no pool no hot tub the breakfast was a muffin or a bowl of cereal and a juice. Very poor accommodation.

    Very disappointed with my stay. Nothing was cleaned although stated on a table in the room. No towels. No pillows on hand. The couch that let out into a bed had old fingernail clippings that my daughters were supposed to sleep on. Overall dissatisfied. I put on the heater and the room still blew out air we were cold all night. The shower was dirty and had spiders in it. I had to put a towel in the shower just for us to take a bath. I specifically booked the hotel because theyvhad a indoir pool for my daughters justvin case we couldnt make itvyo the beach it was to cold for the beach and the pool was not open. I will never stay here again. Please do your research and call before you come we called but nobody answered so we walked into this hotel blindly.

    The website needs to be updated , rooms were not exactly as described . The rooms need some tlc in the maintenance department. Some of the appliances were not working properly as expected. For the price I paid I was expecting a little bit more

    It has a kitchenette but very limited pans and utensils. It has a washer and dryer thst you can pay to use. It's a great price for what you get. There are a few upgrades that could be made. Our room had some dirt build up in corners, splatters on doors that has not been cleaned, etc. Overall it was a good place to stay.

    First room was not cleaned and microwave had food stuck to the front glass. Did not take pictures, but should have. Second room was in same unclean condition. Had hair from someone else on towels, microwave dirty among other things. Front desk wanted to get us another room, but decided it would not be any better as they are definitely not cleaning rooms to Marriott standard, let alone to the new Covid standards. Decided to go buy our own cleaning supplies and clean the room properly. Saw the corporate poster in the lobby with staff signatures confirming the high cleaning standards for guests to see, but this is definitely not the case in this hotel. See attached images of marketing the high levels of cleaning from corporate and an image of an air return grate that has not been cleaned in a long time. Do not recommend staying a a Marriot hotel, until they fix the cleanliness and their chains.

    Though they were nice enough to switch rooms for me at no extra cost, the front desk never had anyone there so always had to yell to get service (sometimes no one showed), the initial room I was checked into was not ready (bucket in the bath tub, light fixtures on the table), there was no 'to-go' breakfast as claimed (muffins were not available), and there was a pervasive smell through the hotel.

    I really hope they are working to sort out their exchange and cleaning issues. Frankly had we known there was no pool, no housekeeping, etc prior to our arrival, we would have switched to a condo where there would have been cleaning supplies such as a broom, etc. And a washer and dryer so we could have washed towels etc without wondering if we would get any replacement

    Social distancing was observed well by the front desk staff. Considering the pandemic, I’m glad that “pick up and go” for breakfast was available as opposed to the regular continental breakfast. The room is decent but not thoroughly cleaned. There was hair, a tennis ball and random trash between furnitures. The most concerning issue was a side door that is supposed to be an egress but we are not able to open if from the inside. There is a sign indicating that it is not working but that can be a potential fire hazard. To make it worse, it can be opened from the outside without a key card and someone placed a duct tape to keep the door open.

    Nice hotel. Good location close to downtown and padre island, and university. The room could have been cleaned a little better. Hair left in bathroom floor. Exterior of fridge had cooking splatters on it next to stove. The kitchen was not fully stocked with supplies but for one night we made it work. We stayed in two bedroom suite. Kitchen was updated. Bathtub was chipping but decently clean. No cookie sheet for cooking but front desk very helpful and gave us parchment paper to use. Overall, nice spot. Bed and pillows was comfortable. Ac was great.

    Husband and I are volunteers for a dog rescue, and truly appreciate this place being dog friendly. We enjoy bringing our foster dog with us. Like the suite set up and staff kindness.

    My wife and I staid for 3 nights, the hotel was close to good restaurants, shopping and not to far from the beach. The hotel rooms were quiet and we did not have any problems sleeping.

    Overall it was good. Very convenient location, had restaurants and stores everywhere. Only complain I had was the pool area was almost too hot. It felt like a sauna. Staff was really friendly .

    The only thing was I found someone else’s clothing behind the chair in the bedroom. So I recommend doing a little bit better at vacuuming everywhere to make sure nothing was left behind by previous and other guest don’t find it. Bed was made nicely with fresh crisp linen. Comfortable king size mattress and pillows. Staff was friendly. Location is off freeway near large shopping areas, not near the beach but about 10 mins away from it. Would stay here again but just have housekeeping check behind all couches and chairs etc to do a thorough cleaning.

    This hotel needs some work. Even the door to our room cries out for renovations. Not very clean. Whatever you do, don’t look under the seat cushions or at the dust ruffle under the mattress. It’s disgustIng. Breakfast was okay but the drink machine wasn’t working. So if you don’t drink coffee, you will be thirsty.
