Smell was terrible!! Room was not clean until we left cleaning supplies for the maid. LOUD!!!!! Sounded like a dog kennel. We lost 1 day of payment that we made. Had to get out of there!!!!! Went to a Marriott.

The shower had mold, the bathroom counter rusty, the bathroom door handle was ill fitting and obviously just replaced with whatever they could find. I was expecting better, but was definitely underwhelmed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was confused by the room thermostat and the window A/C as to what controlled what, my sister had an adjoining room and her AC worked well because she only had the thermostat on the wall. Other than that the area was great, plenty of food options and easily accessible to the highway. Would def stay here again

This is an older property, but they have been doing a lot of work on it. The beds and linens were comfy, rooms were well-furnished and modern, and a safe was available in each room. The ac was adjustable and worked very well, the TV was high quality. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Location is very convenient to shopping room was clean. Breakfast area was a little lacking in selections , went out to the patio through the pool, to enjoy the evening but was unable to return back due to the key was not working to get back into the motel. Had to call the front office had to let us in.

But it was soooo loud. We heard people banging and walking and running until 1am. Then we went out to our car at 11:30pm and there were two big trucks blocking the doorway with their lights on and it was weird and they were there for forever. It was an off feeling and just creepy

It started out rough for me because I am particular with the TV and it was not working. It was unplugged and I had to move the furniture it was sitting on to get to the cord. It took me a while to figure it out. The staff was great especially Dk. He was very helpful. Breakfast was ok. The room was clean but had a little mole in shower, not to much. Had a bug in bathroom. Just one. The AC was good. Overall I was satisfied.

Staff make me wait an 1.5 hrs to get me my room . And when I asked if they did bed I. Breakfast service to bi g up to your room he rudely said no get it myself. It wound have been. One thing to hear no, sorry we don't provide that. But he was just flat out rude.

We were traveling for a quick trip, 1 night only. The check in was smooth and staff were friendly. Overall, maintenance was good. Breakfast was very limited. Most things were prepackaged.

Arrinving you can see the lackof maintenanse in the building. In the room air is wierd, start to cool and goes to tep set but to start again to cool down it let the room warm a little and start again. Mattress is very soft so no support and pillows the same. Breakfast is very but very simple, one fruit and some bagels milk and cereal. Did not see the SPARK

Great place to stay for the price, no complaints

They have one microwave next to the check in counter & the guy told me it was for the entire hotel to use whenever they needed to use it. That’s very inconvenient & highly inconsiderate of a hotel to do to a hotel full of guests. A hotel who wants to be highly rated by guests should very well be sure to convenience their guests with things needed inside the rooms instead of having them all leave their rooms & go back to the lobby to all use that one & only microwave. I only booked the place because it said in room microwaves. I was told those were for the more expensive hotels & to use that one in the lobby. I will never book there again simply for the in room items that need to be there for my family’s convenience.

The air conditioner was very loud when shutting off and the bedding was very stained. The sheets were the only thing I used the other bedding made me nervous.

Staff friendliness was the ultimate stand out! Appreciated a clean room and working A.C., it was a very comfortable stay. Location is perfect right in the center of everything.Parking is lit and safe as well. I forgot something in the room, hours later remembered and they had it waiting at the front desk for me to pick up.

Everything was acceptable, quiet, and fair. Nothing fancy but reasonable.

The front counter guy was more worried about his phone then helping customers, the bathroom was dirty. There was a used bar of soap still in the shower, the tub was clogged, and there was no ice bucket in the room.

The room was spotless and the staff courteous, helpful and friendly.

Tv didnt work. Room smelled like feet, good thing i take my Lysol everywhere. It was okay for a one night stay. It is close to alot of restaurant and stores. You can even go walking. Overall a 6 out of 10.

The down side of this stay was they had a mini bagel bar for breakfast. The room down side was hair in the tub with a little soap scum.Lastly are car was ran sack and was told there was nothing he could do 😭

Staff was courteous, bathroom had an odd smell, i did let the front deak know. The day I checked out I asked for 3 towels, they gave me 2 only. They stated they were short on towels, now why is that my problem?

Hotel sound proofing is non-existent. Can hear everything outside the hotel.

Everything conveniently located. The beds are amazing so comfortable The staff it's always available and very friendly. This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at without question. It is a safe area and lots of restaurants and shopping areas.

Clean room

This space was not worth the price in our opinion. The staff was amazing. Super friendly and accommodating but the property and room was pretty ick. Not the worse place we stayed but for sure not the best. Stains on linens, hair in tub, toilet area and counter on the sink and the room was really humid. It took hours before it got comfortable. The carpet was also sticky in spots so we leftvour shoes on until we got in bed. Breakfast was sparse. It was just bagels so if you look at free breakfast as a perk, you’ll be disappointed. Huge pothole when we entered the property with a big rock sticking out also so use caution entering. I’m surprised Hilton put their name on this place as it’s not the kind of hotel that seems up to Hilton standards.

The windows curtains were full of mold. It was so gross.

My kids came back to the room disappointed because all there was to offer was boiled eggs & juice! When I called the hotel the previous day the automated answering machine stated they had a “bagel bar” there was not 1 bagel in sight. Cereal, yogurts or bagels or items to take on the go that can still be considered a continental breakfast would be great. A little disappointing to rearrange plans to accommodate breakfast for kids before a busy day

Desk was unattended the times I needed something. Had to Pay a $75 security deposit upon arrival. Never mentioned prior to arrival so that wasn't expected. The food shown on the Hotels.com showed warm breakfast. They only have bagels and cereal/oatmeal. (low on cereal anyway) The bathroom shower/tub had mold. Always look under the soap tray on the wall. There was hair on the shower wall from the previous person. I don't usually do reviews, but this was not what I expected on a family stay.

My family of 11 was very comfortable with everything about the Spark by Hilton SE Corpus Christi.

No coffee maker or microwave in room. No eggs or sausage offered at breakfast. Deposit hasn't dropped off yet

Hotel is not up to Hilton Standards. When you book a Hilton hotel, you expect a certain quality and cleanliness.

Everything was wonderful ,except where we were staying,There must’ve been quite a few families because there was a lot of kids running up and down the hall most of the night I slept through it. It bothered my husband other than that from the time we walked in until the time we left, everyone was absolutely wonderful. The little breakfast was good. The bed was super comfy .The location is excellent you’re around all the best restaurants. It’s convenient to get in and out to go to Padre Island. Will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend Sparks by the Hilton Corpus Christi..

Ice machine, friendly staff

What looked like mold on AC unit, curtains, bathroom wall, corner of bedroom wall, in grout. Main room door was hard to tell if door was locked. Bathroom door was too big for opening and wouldn't shut. Chipped tiles along wall in bathroom floor, bathroom counter had stains, rust in tub, rust on fire sprinkler heads, paint in all rooms sloppy with many parts chipped, one part of wall in bathroom partially ripped, trash under bed, cups provided had holes in them, floor so dirty it turned my feet black. AC kept room cool, but was very loud, doors slamming constantly, people outside in parking being loud throughout the night, lots of incredibly loud cars passing by and what sounded like metal hitting the concrete outside constantly. Hair balls in tub, dirty shower head, shampoo and body wash dispenser, but no conditioner, hair dryer provided, plenty of towels, toilet paper rolls too big for holder so fell off every time. I couldn't get tub faucet to get blocked completely when showering, water temperature was good. TV was nice, desk area nice and had a foldout leaf, fridge was dripping water, all lights worked, standing lamp shade dirty with dust and black spots. Plenty of covers and 3 pillows. Breakfast was very limited compared to what I am used to.

Our first day the pool was closed in the morning breakfast was not as advertised pretty lame cuz I book rooms based on breakfast to save money. Other than bad breakfast it was a pretty all right stay

I stay at this property every time I stay in corpus... It's very convenient to all the shopping and restaurants...Although staff are nice and the rooms are always nice and clean.. I didn't get to stay in a 1st floor room as promised and there were no large towels in the bathroom... They were helpful in getting the things I needed

The photos shown is not how the hotel looks now, the breakfast shown in the photos is much better than what was actually served. Boiled eggs, cereal and bagels every morning. The elevator is inconveniently small, the room was fine- no microwave.

Quiet clean facility.

The bedroom ceiling was bubbled like it was about to cave in. Bathroom pipes rusty and dirty. Shower and drain did not work properly. Had to hold drain open after shower to get water out.

The room that was given to us had a smell. Towel were dirty so had to get replacements asked for an extra blanket took them till the following day to giv it us. Charged over 8$ to get a 200ml coke

The hotel was very quiet and the indoor pool helped a lot with taking a break from the sun. Would definitely come back next year

I stayed here for two nights 1/24-1/26. It was me and my toddler. The indoor pool area was heated and very clean. The lobby was clean and our room was awesome. I believe his name was Fenil, but the front desk man was super friendly as well as the housekeepers. We will stay here every trip now.

The rooms are updated and nice. The breakfast area only serves bagels and is so much smaller than what they have pictured. Online it says they have roll away beds but they do not. The blow dryer over heated within 2 minutes of using and would not turn back on.

Rep was welcoming & involved in getting our stay to be comfortable & complete. Others just needed to pick their face up to at least acknowledge guests.

The front counter employees very welcoming and professional. Beds were so comfortable. Rooms nice. AC was wonderful. Definitely will stay at this hotel again.

Meeting family

We were excited to stay there but upon entering the lobby it reeked of mildew or mold so We decided not to stay.

Firstly, the staff was great, helpful with information and requests for items. We booked 3 rooms for our weekend family outing. One room had mold growing in the bathroom ceiling, all 3 rooms were not stocked with toiletries. The whole hotel was in a state of "almost done renovating" with items missing and open holes in the ceiling all over the place. None of ours 3 rooms had smoke detectors, not sure of the local building code regarding them but didn't feel like they were supposed to be missing. Breakfast was meh, but who can complain about that since it was included with the rooms. Ojos Locos is the nearest business and you can hear the outdoor music at the hotel. I don't think we will be staying at this location again.

The first floor was under renovation and everything was dusty, dirty, and gritty and no place to sit. . Almost tripped on the uneven reco floor tile. The breakfast had a lot to be desired, and no place to sit. One of the hotel clerks told us to go next door to Fairfield Inn as the breakfast was better. Would not have stayed here if I had been aware of the reconstruction.

Hotel should post that renovations are being done so it won’t be a surprise.. front desk clerk did offer us a free cancellation due to renovations and noise being made.

My bathroom was dirty from previous guest.. hair on vanity and reddish/brown smudge on toilet rim. Bathroom sink would not drain.

Construction, pool closed, and broken elevator put a damper on things quickly

Property was under construction. Rooms were near new. Maybe the first to stay in. They were nice and almost perfect. Hall ways and common areas were disgusting. Stained carpets and paint everywhere. Didn’t know it was under remodel at booking. Pool was closed. Offered to go to other 2 sister properties but find that inconvenient. Feather blanket was lumpy and moist. No trash can, hair dryer, microwave, alarm clock or coffee machine.

I did not stay there. I could not after walking in and seeing the filthiest rug in the lobby I have ever seen. Then looking around, everything was in total disarray! Looked like scaffolding outside around the pool, dark inside, I could not stay there at all. I asked the clerk for a refund and she said I would have to get the refund from Expedia. So I am asking for a refund because the photos you posted on your website was nothing like the condition of the hotel. This can be the last time I trust Expedia, or if you show good faith and refund the payment, then I may give you another try and recommendation. So the choice is yours!

didn’t realize that the hotel was under construction and the suite that I ran it didn’t look anything like what was on the website. There was no sofa with the table and I had to ask for someone to come in and set the TV so that I could watch it.

The hotel was under renovation and the floor we stayed on had been recently updated so it was great. The staff was friendly, super affordable rate, the continental breakfast was fine and the location was great. I would stay here again especially with the renovations!

Renovation was in progress upon checking in and no warning was given prior to checkin. Upon checkin, I was told only 1st floor would be available due to renovation, but they put us on floor 2. Exactly 2 rooms way from all the construction. Long story short. We checked rigjt out due to how dirty room was. I was charged an extra fee on top of the room price.

The door was really hard to open and our keys kept deactivating after we put them in the door to our room so we had to keep going to the front desk and also the lady that check us in charged us once and 2 separate cards so i didnt have money to use for the weekend because of their mistakes but overall terrible experience would not be coming back

I canceled this reservation . The hotel is in deplorable conditions.

Sheets seem if they were not cleaned. The carpet was a dirty. The restroom had hairs in the tub from previous people as well as the pillows had hairs.

Dirty, roaches, just very nasty. Had to check out . No employer cared about the place.

Our keys did not work the first time around and we had to go back and rescan them. Room had stains all over the carpet and sheets. The overlook of the hotel was a bit creepy.

Property was under construction that was at least several years in need. Beds, bedding, furniture was all worn out. Holes in the office chairs. I have seen better in a Motel 6. the breakfast area had seen better days. The elevator had missing floor tiles. Carpet was old, worn and missing in the hallways. Just not very safe looking. At first they were unable to refund me money because the counter person did not know the computer system. Was told that when the manager would return he would do it, so I chose to wait on him for my refund. I have cancer and that was not the cleanest hotel.

However, I ran into a problem immediately upon arriving. I discovered someone named Bernal had called that afternoon AND CANCELLED MY RESERVATION! I don't know who this is and I definitely DIDN'T want to cancel the reservation! Fortunately, Crystal (the receptionist), found a room and I was able to check in. I STRONGLY suggest you investigate this and find out who that person was and / or how they were able to get my check-in information and cancel it. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

We were not informed they were in the process of renovating. I booked this hotel specifically for the in door pool. The pool was closed.

It was dirty stinky and never again will I stay there. Indoor pool was out of order. Beds where uncomfortable.

The hotel was so dirty and run down at first sight. Smelled like smoke and stains on the carpet in front area, Windows looked like they were broken and covered up with some strange/poor material. Never even went up to room. I tried to get my money back but they had a no refund policy and was unwilling to assist even though I booked the room 2hrs prior to checking in. Even when I told them my concerns of not being clean and not feeling safe it did not sway them to give me my money back. So I did not stay and was out $120. Photos made it look nicer. Beware!

Good location, friendly staff and good prices. Room was smelling, found heater not working. I noticed exhaust fan in the bath was not working probably that is trapping the moisture and overtime causing the smell.

This location is VERY VERY dirty. DO NOT BOOK. The pictures with this listing are not accurate or up to date. The hotel is so outdated and has not been taken care of well by owners. Stains all over the room, bed sheets included. Entire building smells moldy and is dirty. Booked this for a quick stay, and quickly requested a refund once my family and I arrived. The receptionist at the desk was very kind and when I requested to cancel my reservation and receive a refund she was nothing but helpful.

This place was horrible. Filthy. Supposedly undergoing renovations, but do yourself a favor and wait until it’s renovated. No TP in our room, and candy wrappers on the floor. Carpet was badly stained and filthy. Bottom of the shower curtain was pink with mold.

I would not stay here again. The room I initially I booked smells like cat pee and had fleas in the bed. The smell was horrendous. I got moved to another room it was a little better but you can tell they don’t clean rooms well because there was a swimsuit still hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

Bed sheets had stains, carpets were dirty, cable didnt work in the room was barley hanging on! Rooms smelled like mildew. It was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at.

I can't really say anything positive about our stay here. Upon arriving we were given a room that was being used by someone else. I was then given another room that was to be honest.. Not clean! The room smelled, the lighting was dim, beds did not have comforters on them and the room was very dusty. Not to mention, the bathroom was not fully stocked with towels, and toilet paper. I asked for housekeeping to come by and they never went by. The pictures on the website are deceiving because this hotel is very old and filthy! Never Again will we stay there .

The hotel was dirty and by the looks of it never cleaned. We had to switch rooms and couldn’t get our money back so we rode it out. Our room had the coffee table broke, the fire alarm was laying on the counter and the wires was exposed. We had to clean the tub before use and the couch was nasty as well. The whole hotel stunk and was in bad repair.
