The parking felt safe. The room was clean. The toilet ran all weekend. It would have been nice to have more lighting. The room was quite dark. Only one overhead light over towards the door.

Roaches everywhere in both rooms!!! People stomping upstairs so i was moved to a room that was being remodeled while rooming inside. When i came in feom work the door was left open for anybody to enter. I do not recommend this place. Not even for 1 night.

There were alot of flies, smoke alarm broken, tile broken, dirty shower/tub, towels not really clean, microwave didn’t work, no iron to iron clothes, dirty ceiling.

The building is older and you pay for what you get. A cheap price means not a well kept bulding. My kids know no differences they enjoyed our vacation away from home. The had fun in the pool even though it is an older pool. Office was nice and help ful. We were glad tbey had at washer dryers down stairs and a working stove to feed my picky kiddos.

The hotel felt safe and was very quite at night. However, the room was dirty, especially the floor, and the towels were all stained. The room was very antiquated. Because of previous reviews we read about room cleanliness, we brought our own cleaning supplies and insect spray. Which we had to use to clean the room. Also, the beds were VERY uncomfortable. We rented 2 rooms, stayed 4 nights, and our backs will never forgive us. The A/C in one room froze you out, in the other room the A/C hardly worked. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Mexican restaurant next store was very good. Overall, the price for 2 rooms for 4 nights made up for some of the negatives. It was a 30 to 45 minute easy drive to the beach. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

We made a reservation online, called the location and asked for a handicap accessible room after making the reservation (we were told last year to do this because going through third party they can’t see the notes made for that). Called again a week prior to the reservation to confirm again with the manager that we would have a first floor room for my wheelchair bound mother. Was told it was all good. Got to the location to check in and Joe refused us service because he said they only had third floor rooms and said he was canceling the reservation and would not be able to help someone in a wheelchair upstairs since the elevator was broken. We asked if he could help us out and work with us and he said no. We told him we don’t even need a handicap room just one on the first floor and he said he would not do that and he was not going to help us and if we asked for an accommodation again there would be consequences and threatened to call the police. He never canceled the reservation like he said and it showed that we checked in to the location but we were not allowed to.

Great place to stay for the price. Very friendly and peaceful.

Will not be staying here ever again

Absolutely nothing. The first room that we stayed in the floor was falling through and the tv didn’t work. There was mold in the bathroom and the bathroom sink sprayed everywhere. We complained and moved rooms. Second room the hot water doesn’t work. There is no pots and pans utensils or ANYTHING to cook with in the kitchenette we booked. All 3 people are having to share towels because my room is not being serviced after 5 days of being here. And the staff are extremely rude!

Hotel had roaches. Had them move my room and that one had roaches and other bugs. Take a shower and water runs on floor. Floors and walls were dirty. Toilet wobbled when setting on it. Overall bad bad experience. Spend almost 400 dollar on. Don’t waste your time

People living on the property with animals letting them poop all over without picking it up I requested a king bed and was given a double. Mold in room paint coming off walls and ceiling. The ceiling was falling and bugs in room. I requested 1st and was placed on 3rd which was a big inconvenience asked to be relocated and it never happened. Just too many people just hanging around I guess because they call it home. A big disappointment from what is shown online.

The motel staff is the best part of this Motel 6! They go out of their way to make sure your stay is friendly, clean, and accommodating! The Mexican restaurant next door is on point!

I immediately checked out but they still charged me $70 dollars for the night because the “sheets were messed up.” Terrible.

The price was low. I assumed I’d get what I paid for, but the standard was lower than even my low expectations. There were roaches all over the kitchen area and bathroom. The floors were noticeably dirty, and the beds were uncomfortable and covered in cigarette burns.

It was too far from everything

The room wasn't clean it looked like the sheets and blankets weren't changed before we got there. The floor has sand on it and the floor underneath the bed has trash that we had to pick up. Housekeeping came one time through are almost week stay. And that was the day we left. I really didn't enjoy my stay here.

The Hotel staff are very helpful and accommodating with pleasant disposition. The room is budget friendly yet very spacious for a longer stay and is equipped to store a fair amount of groceries and the ability to prepare them. I would certainly stay there again.

It smelled bad. Roaches… there’s a crack under the door that could easily let vermin’s in.

I actually left in the middle of the night and went t loop another hotel when I saw the cockroaches scurrying everywhere. Gross. Bulldoze this building. There’s no hope for it. And Expedia…shame on you with your atrocious policy of no refunds after check in. I checked out two days early and should get a refund.

I stayed there years ago when it was the Red Roof Inn and it was a nice hotel. The price was attractive which is why I chose it. Microwave worked fine, bed was OK, hot water was fine, internet was sufficient. They advertise kitchettes but not really. No cookware at all and small fridge on the floor. Cigarette butts everywhere, I am handicapped and have handicapped license plates but the handicapped parking spaces were usually full with lifted 4 wheel drive trucks without handicapped plates. Office staff is nice but the outside of the hotel could really use a few hours of a pressure washer. Overall you get what you pay for and I would stay there again but it's basically a place to take a nap and wash. A little cleaning of the property on the outside would really improve the atmosphere. Average and worth the low price but again it is priced at value. On the bright side no hookers or crackheads which is the impression one would hget when they pull intot he parking lot.

Room was clean amd comfortable. Not in the best shape, as everything is old and outdated, but we were safe and had a great time in Corpus Christi.

My room was dirty. Stove took too long to heat up, made cooking slow and sink to small to was dishes. Beds uncomfortable. Drawers would not close. Alarm clock was broken. Walls and ceiling dirty. Not a good experience.

Katy at front desk was very kind. She lent me a frying pan and spatula. The leaking toilet and air conditioner required many towels, but in the week I was there it was not fixed.

We had a good stay. The hotel was good. Beds were nice and comfortable. Service was fine

The floor in our room was sandy (no carpet) upon arrival. We had to ask for a broom and sweep the floor. The kitchenette doesn't have dishes, utensils, pans, nothing. The outside was dirty and smelled like urine. Says it's pet friendly, but no place to walk your pets really.

Gum stuck on the bathroom floor. Everything was sticky from not being cleaned, third floor room no elevator bad back and knees was told my room could be traded waited all day two days for nothing to be told I had dropped the ball. Got two remotes on check in neither one was for the Direct TV box. I was told I needed to change input, At least the guy that gave me the right remote was nice, Highly do not recommend.

I reserved a 2 Queen bed and when I went to check in, they had gave away my room. I was place in a room with a king (which I had a party of 4). It took a long time the next day to get the right room. When I was able to move in at 5pm, the room wasn’t finish. They never told us we had to come down and get our own towels. It took hours before I could get new towels. Bad service ALL around.

Wonderful great place to stay but they need to invest in some new mattresses those they have now have been well slept in.

Reasonably priced and great location

I had a 10 stay. Was in town for a convention. Had some me time before and after the convention. Got a better stay than ones i paid a lot more money. General Manager April was super accommodating.

This hotel was dirty and had people there that would check cars and smoke weed. It was not a good place. The pool was dirty. The only good thing about this hotel was the restaurant next door and the weekend manager. He was kind and you could clearly see he was clean.

Do not stay in this place, we check the room before we stay and we walk out of it right out way because the room floors were black I check the mattress and it felt the wires so we walk out to the lobby and I told the lady in the front desk that we are not staying so we walk out and try to find an other place and it was getting dark and specially when you don't know the area we found an other one it was perfect place and we love it.

No icebox in room at all, no microwave at all, the bed was terrible and sloped in the meddle, and the shower was really unusable.

If you’re a construction worker this is good slot to stay

After I checked in and paid I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor and the elevator stopped working within 20 minutes of my arrival. When I asled about the calls I made and being told I was definitely in a downstairs room, the manager told me that she did not have to actually provide a downstairs room, but could say one was available.

It was a very nice place to stay. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Very clean and we felt safe during our stay. I would turn the heater on the pool off during the summer months.

Well my tool trailer was stolen from the front of the hotel. It was locked onto my truck but it was ripped off in Plainview of everyone had to remind them to clean my room. Always had to go down three flights of stairs to get towels. Needles hanging out the bottom of trash cans where kids can grab them, and used condoms on top. I do not recommend this for anyone

I was surprisingly satisfied with this property. I was kinda worried when book because of such a low price. The curb appeal was what expected for $42 a night. The room itself was very clean. The furniture definitely showed a lot of age and use but for the price can't complain. Parking seems to be a little short of spots. Pool is small. Location is easy on and off I37. About 9 miles to beach. Staff friendly. Cards didn't work 1st day for entire hotel but was fix by next day. Would stay again for same price wouldn't pay more though.

I had to be moved to a different room due to bed bugs being found and my sheets having a dirty black handprint under one of the pillows. Staff moved me fast and was friendly about it but I definitely won't be staying here again. Be aware and check all corners of your bed before sleeping here!

My room was invested with cockroaches! Never again will We stay there. We left early.

The property was old and trash was everywhere. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The a/c was very loud and the cable would go in and out. There was nothing good to say about this property.

I have stayed at motel 6 many times throughout the years visiting family and I have never experienced the type of nastiest at any place ive stayed. I originally booked a room for 7 nights and after only 3 nights I had to check out and move to a better hotel due to unsafe conditions and an unclean establishment with roaches and sketchy people hanging out around the building . The studio 6 on 6301, # Ih-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78409 needs some major help. First let me start off by saying the staff could not care less about the customers or the experience they have. Second if someone specificly requests accommodation for a injury of a dislocated knee and can't do stairs it probably isn't the best idea to put them on a third floor with very limited access and an elevator on the other side of the building even after mentioning my injury again I was told use the elevator and shurgged off. Your staff needs some serious training on scheduling, customer service and accomodations for guest with disabilities. Upon entry to the room it was slightly cleaned however did have clean sheets so I accepted the room however upon further inspection the room is a death trap and literally falling apart. The bed frame has fallen apart multiple times requiring me to get under the bed and adjust it during my three night stay and its off center so the frames leg is off the ground , don't waste you time or money just not worth it. Still haven't gotten response from corp.

Dirty room, shower does not have water pressure, the entire facility is dirty and abandoned. this hotel has no conditions for a family it is unsafe

The place was in a terrible location. The rooms were nasty. The bathroom/floors had not been cleaned. all the floors had dirty cake in the corners. Paint peeling off walls and doors. The bed sheets smelled musty. I got moved from one gross room to another. There were roaches in the 2nd room I got placed in. The lock was missing, which being a female guest by myself was scary. The other guests in the next room were banging on the walls, yelling, and when I got to the 2nd room someone had a stereo in their hotel room (obviously they were living there) and was bassing until almost midnight. They also were yelling and being loud hitting the walls yet again. The overall stay was very uncomfortable. I ended up going to a different hotel for the rest of my stay which accommodated me well.

I did not enjoy that the bathtub was broken in the room I was staying in.

Room was clean. Phone not working and TV. Not enough towels and had to go to office and ask for more and turn in old ones. Parking hard to get..worse at night. I've stayed before but will reconsider next time. Construction in area is horrible.
