Place is very trashy a they literally follow you around the property. And watch to see who goes in the rooms, a they are very rude and wont give you fresh towels an rags unless you bring the dirty ones to the office. I’ll never go back there again

beds were okay there was a piece of the bathroom door missing It looks like a dog chewed it up(I have dogs I get it) there was blood on the wall in the bathroom not from us When we got there we saw that there were only two towels and we rented a room for four people to stay in when we went to ask the front desk if we could get two additional towels they told us no unless we brought the dirty towels down to them and then they could give us towels in the morning. after some back and forth we brought the dirty towels down to them and received two clean towels I don't understand why there wasn't at least four towels in the room to begin with and had the same issue the next day. There was half a roll of toilet paper in the restroom when we arrived (which really does not bother me) when I asked the front desk if we could get another roll when we asked for towels on the second night they gave me an attitude like it was inconvenient for them and said they had been calling me all day so house cleaning could come in. While we were out house cleaning came in and took all the towels and washcloths that weren't even used. I understand if they are worried people will be stealing their towels or maybe they were just Low on towels this weekend but it just put a sour taste in my mouth and the people at the front desk made me feel uncomfortable.

I liked that the parking lot was well lit. However, that made the room very bright at night. Blackout curtains were not enough. Room 103 also has a gap under the room door causing cold air to come in. No hangers for clothes, no bedside lamps, no "DO NOT DISTURB" signs.

no breakfast No top sheet or comforter on beds. Only on sheet and hotel employees were rude and did not acknowledge concerns.

From the entrance to the room, there was a huge cockroach inside. The smell of damp was strong. There was no iron. The ironing board was dirty and covered in dog hair. They didn't leave any toilet paper; they left the soap and shampoo in tiny packets, already used by someone else. Aside from that, what I liked least was the smell of damp. My clothes were left with that smell. I got home later and washed them.

Cleanliness of room was poor. Bathroom floor was sticky. Furniture was not moved to clean. I took a picture of someone's dentures behind bedside table that I did not move or report. They may still be there. Handicap guests must wait for cleaning staff to leave for the day to park in Handicap parking spot.

The staff was polite and helpful, but the reception area had a mildew/smoke smell to it. The room you can tell they tried to update it and make it look nice, which it was but it did have a mildew smell inside the room, there was only one roll of toilet paper which was close to being empty, we ended running out that night and the roll was damp for some reason. And then the tub had a white mat that looked dirty, had a lot of yellow stains on it and under that the tub was rusting. I had to take a shower with my sandals on. The rest of the room was fine.

It was a pleasant place to stay

It is very well lighted. Not any riff-raff hanging around.

Remote control for the TV was a annoying as heck. You had to hold the remote over your head to be able to change the channel. Because the sensor was at the top of the box the TV was built into.. just overall not a real pleasant experience.

Clean and cool in the room. Staff was very catering. We checked out and forgot our phone chargers. They called to let me know and I was able to go back to get them.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and the bed or pillows had beg bugs the first time was a few months ago and this time I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt only to wake up with bites on my forearm. This hotel is completely disgusting and needs to be shutdown…

Okay stay considering the price. Walls are pretty thin and can hear lots of outside noise.

Parking lot was easy parking for a large truck and secure.

Room was clean and comfortable. You can tell it was recently renovated. Only thing we wished you could tilt the tv to watch while on the couch and the outside light shined in around the curtain which would be hard to change. We would stay here again for the value and closeness to family.

I've stayed at this location since it was updated and sold to the new owners. I'm not sure what the brand of the former hotel was but it's now The Palace Inn. I have not been a fan of that brand, but I was impressed with that location, and I am glad that I had to stay there because of a hurricane evacuation. I have a new perspective on the Palace Inn brand and will be staying with them for any future trips. I highly recommend this location for the location, cleanliness and the room was not only updated but it has the little things that are necessary for travellers if you have forgotten certain toiletries or just forgotten to get them before checking in. Because I know if you are anything like most travellers, we are tired and ready to get in the room to get our work done or simply relax. Oh, and the manager of this location is not intrusive like most Palace Inn owners or managers. He is very polite and treats you like most travellers would like to be treated when away from home. I don't think anyone loves to stay away from their home unless it's necessary and the manager is great at making the guest feel welcomed and not to the uncomfortable point. I will be staying at that location for my future trips to the area.

The interior and exterior were well kept up and the room was very clean. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room because that is hard to find nowadays when you are booking a trip and looking for a clean hotel room. The area is not as busy as a big city like HTX but it has as many if not more stores, and restaurants, etc. Convenient location for a personal or business trip.

When I can't go into a lobby for check in it affects the score I give we are past the pandemic on top of not having a breakfast in the morning

It’s not like there were rats and roaches, but there were a few flies in the room, some damage to the drywall, the bathtub was stained, the TV didn’t work at first, I had to wait an hour for the wifi code, and it had a strong odour of a particular cooking spice that some people like, but I find to be too pungent. I’m sure they’re nice people, and it was cheap, so I suppose you get what you don’t pay for.

In town for business. Our Hosts were very friendly and hospitable. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

Was decent for a quick stay, our lock was broken on our door, we had to place a chair under the door for safety and the room smelled a little weird like underline smoke but wasn't too bad. The front desk lady seemed a little rude/frustrated had our rooms mixed up, said is was corrected but we were still given a double room when we booked a single with a queen. Housekeeprs were friendly and did a great job cleaning and picking up the room

This was a cheap staying option. However when we arrived there was no attendant for 15min, and we werent allowed in the lobby so all communication was done through a small window opening.

The only lighting by the bed were ceiling pot lights that were extremely bright. There were no bedside lamps for less glaring light for reading or watching tv. The overhead lighting was far too harsh. Although everything else was excellent i would not stay there because of the harsh lighting.

It was noisy and we didn't feel safe. The room had damage for it being a place that's only been there two years.

Beware. I have no idea how this place has the reviews it does? Starts from the check in, no lobby (it’s locked at 1pm?). Room was dirty and smelled musty and of smoke. Was going to stay overnight but decided not to stay. Was refunded, all but $40, thankfully. Hope this was just a one time bad experience.

The rooms were big and the tv was actually better than most. For the price it was ok.

The main complaint was the room was not as clean as I expected, and the lobby door was locked in the daytime, and the day clerk was off site.

The hotel was amazing. It was centrally located within town and everything was within a mile away. The hotel staff were all great, super friendly and helpful with special requests and accomodations. Definitely exceeded expectations and will recommend and use again. 5 Stars.

Always comfortable, when we have bad weather my power goes off and my water well goes off so no water, so we have to bathe before work, very good prices and very clean.

Our stay is issues with our water well and have no water to bathe, so this hotel is close to home and work. We always have a good stay.

The room was a disappointment to enter as there were stains in one of the pillow cases and the room seamed to have just received a slight touch up and not property cleaned. The roll of toilet paper on the restroom was almost finished and not properly replaced as every other hotel ensures a new roll is replaced prior to other guest arriving. It also had an orange stain on the end of the toilet paper roll. Also there was a large roach walking on across on the high top right side area of the room

It was a pleasant stay, it was very clean and very comfortable. Great for the price.

This was a quick trip for us to Crosby for a family gathering. The room was clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot.
