All in all, I had a great time in Texas, me and my wife plan this trip months in advance. We took this trip with our eight month old baby in order for my family to meet our baby. During the process of staying in this hotel. The staff was incredibly rude. In the lobby, there is a sign that says $500 charge fee if they find any type of smoking in your rooms luckily for us we do not smoke, but once we entered our room, it smelt like cigarette smoke and there was cigarette burn holes on our bed. They only gave one hotel card, which is completely understanding what I asked for a second hotel card. They were extremely rude and could not comprehend why we needed a second hotel card. I then unnecessarily explained how it’s not only me but my wife, which they know and my baby and that when you have a baby especially a newborn under the stress of traveling. I would expect there to be two hotel cars. Which I ended up getting no problem fast-forward to our last night where my wife attempted to do laundry. The laundry room locked us out. My wife immediately went to the front desk, which then a separate lady was very confrontational and did not believe that my wife was a resident at this hotel. When we’ve both submitted our IDs prior, I then had to come down there with proof that we paid for a hotel room in order for us to get our laundry. This could’ve been much worse for us being that we had a baby and all of his clothes in the laundry. For a single person it’s OK for a family don’t go.

Hard place to stay after a 16 hour drive. There wasn’t breakfast like it stated so that was upsetting. We stayed in a room with a door connected to a bigger room almost like a home which was creepy we pulled up a table to it. We could hear music and banging all night. Bugs came inside our room from holes in guessing in bottom of door and a lizard was living in there that scared the crap out of me in the bathroom. I knew I couldn’t stay another night and left. I got refunded for 4 days but not the first night we stayed after being up all night with creepy crawls and people. I was going to sleep on the floor at a relatives if I had to I couldn’t go back personally think I should have Ben reimbursed for all the days but I was thankful for what I could get back to give me an option to stay somewhere else.

Not bad for an older hotel but very late the last night I did have an issue with some baby cockroaches climbing on the walls and furniture. Not alot ot them but I suspect they came in under the door as the weather stripping was coming loose. It made it alittle harder to fall asleep thinking about them.

I like the rooms because their kitchenette case you can bring your pots to cook your own food and a nice size refrigerator nice size room, including a couch very clean and is a gas station right across the street 24 hour convenience store including Food, Washington deer etc.

Didn't get to stay the full night but overall not a bad hotel. Bed was pretty comfortable for the short sleep I did get. Not sure what the deal is with a lot of hotels these days not having lamps though. It's either all the way bright or lights out here.

DEFINITELY WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN

My family and I were coming from a wedding and yes there was a big group of us but not everyone had reserved a room yet, the guy at the window charged 2 couples for their rooms that they reserved, then my boyfriends mom was next to pay and the guy was just giving her a hard and accusing us of sneaking in 5 people in a room when that was not the case no extra people went to the room just only the 2 couples that went into their SEPARATE rooms, he claims he saw more than 5 people went into a room when that was not true at all, the guy was talking to us very poorly and not respectful, NEVER staying here!

Check in was smooth, stairs are a little steep but ok. Room was in good condition and clean.

I have stayed at this particular hotel twice and both times the staff was rude. They have an attitude, are resistant to be helpful in any way possible, and they make it seem like they dont want your business. Personally, I dont understand how this place has any tenants. I do NOT recommend this place AT ALL!

It was extremely convenient for what we were there for. Excellent value for the price. No breakfast until after 8 wasn't great but it was a Sunday. I would stay there again.

The amenities were not good. The room coffee maker did not work. Tried to report it, but nobody was there. Had to drop off the key with no one there! The room was clean and ok!

Good little motel to get some sleep. The woman at the front desk was not super friendly but room was clean and it accomplished what we needed. A place to shower and sleep!

Hotel was nice. We don’t usually stay at outdoor entrance hotels, but Crosby Tx does not at this time have any inside entrance hotels and I was pleasantly surprised that this one was as nice as it was.

Easy access to the baseball field that we are playing at. And the people that run this place for super nice.

Clean, no-frills stay. The cover on the bed was super thin so no real blanket on the bed, just sheets.

It was a good place to stay. My son had a baseball tournament and it was 10 minutes away from ballpark and room was very clean. Only thing I can complain about is that we we’re supposed to have complementary breakfast( we didn’t) all there was was coffee, and sometimes it was after eight before we could even get coffee. Other than that nice place to stay in a small town!

The Scottish Inn was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was great. We will stay there again. Prices are reasonable.

I was called and asked what time I’d be checking in, and that the rooms were going fast, he was very rude and paranoid I wouldn’t show, as if I didn’t reserve a room for the weekend ahead. And it shouldn’t matter what time I make it there , I shouldn’t be worried my room won’t be available. They were rude and the room had very little to offer like most hotels .. hair dry didn’t work was taped up and electrical hanging out, they didn’t have any extras for me to use either, no dirty clothes bag , not enough pillows and no real warm cover ...

My stay was just okay. Not the cleanest place I’ve stayed at. But I have definitely stayed at worse places.

The place was really clean, very easy process to check-in. The only issue we had was a monsterous beatle that was flying around the room. It wasn't hard to catch and release but it did keep banging against the door after release. Overall, bugs happen but this is a great place to stay!

Convenient location for business, for me, I loved location comfy, and no bug issues, this is what is important to me.

This place is TOO basic for my taste. The check in clerk barely spoke English. . .there was no clock/radio in the room. . .asked for a wake up call instead; didn't get one. The heating unit gave out in the middle of the night. Water pressure in both sinks was very weak. Blankets were very thing, and no extra blankets available. Plenty of AC outlets in room, but no USB connections. . ."work desk" was a basic table and chair with no work lamp. . .no bedside lamps, but there was glaring over head flood lamp. . .Was this room comfy ? ? No. . .not at all.

Super clean room and a friendly staff. The only problem with the room is the shower. The water pressure is so low I thought it was going to stop.

The person at the front desk (young woman) was extremely helpful. I did not request a special room but I did need one on the bottom floor and she was more than willing to help.

This is a new construction so it shows. No frills or fancy but clean and sufficient for a hot and a cot. "Breakfast" is a little misleading as it barely qualified for "continental."

Started off bad. Gave us a room that was occupied. Stepped out at 2am to smoke and the key did not work other than that, it was good

After the first night my daughter and I both had several bug bites over our bodies. I told the lady at the front desk but again she didn't speak or understand English. After the second night we had a lot more bites. I complained as I check out but again the lady seemed not to understand English. The breakfast bar was a joke. Coffee was bitter and there wasn't much to eat. The location was good and it was easy to get in and out. If it was for all of the bug bites (counted over 100 on me along) and the inability to speak and understand English I would have rated this place a 5 or 6 out of 10. However I will not stay at this place again. I don't like being eaten alive when I am sleeping.

Continental breakfast was non-existent. Poorly stocked. We had to go to McDonald's for breakfast, so that diminishes the value of our stay (and we had several rooms booked by our family, since we were in town for a funeral). We clearly stated the number of people in our room, yet we had to request additional towels, and I had to go to the front desk to get them. Very poor service. And rather than apologize, the front desk clerk told me how busy he was (at 12:30 a.m., with no other clients present). We won't stay there again.

Overall I’d say my stay was good. The rooms were clean unfortunately to get towels I had to take them to the laundry room and get new ones and the coninental breakfast was wrapped snacks and cereal. Staff was nice and I would recommend this to anyone just trying to find someone to put their head down for the night.

The hotel was better than expected, some of the amenities were lacking as has been described in other reviews. If you just want a cheap choice for a night or two this is fine.

For the night we stayed it was a place for us to sleep and take a shower. My family has stayed in a lot better hotels and a lot worse as well.

This hotel is unwelcoming and nearly hostile. The front desk clerk was very suspicious,and repeatedly questioned us. He kept saying..are you SURE no one extra is staying. He pointed out a sign that said NO VISITORS. he stated he would charge our card if he suspected anyone else visited the room. It was like a scene from a very bad movie and i wouldnt book a stay there again if my life depended on it. The room was booked online with a no refund policy or i would have just cancelled immediately but i learned a lesson.. Do some investigating before making a reservation!

Was a nice enough hotel, clean cozy and quiet. Ky only real complaint was the horribly lacking breakfast. Some of these places are really stretching the whole continental breakfast. It was literally a assortment of little debbie and coffee.
