Great trip coming from Oklahoma had a good time.

Everything was good except for the breakfast in a box. Real plates and silverware would have been the bistro so much better.

Wonderful staff, extra clean room, easy to navigate and a great price. I will definitely book again!

The hotel was unreachable. The phone number did not work and they did not respond to messages. No changes were able to be made and it was incredibly frustrating.

It was a very Large room, new, good vibes. Great locations Park across the street close to the farmers market. Free coffee and tea. Very large space with pool table and very good workout room. Parking was very easy $16 a day. We were leaving for the day and told staff not to clean room just bring clean towels. Staff forgot had to call down to desk, other than that perfect stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, with live music and a lively bar where people gathered. It was a great pit stop for my husband and me in Dallas. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean! Overall, I enjoyed Aloft. I had a great time the first time and had another enjoyable experience the second time. I would highly recommend this place to others. There was nothing that I disliked about it.

There was lots of hot water. Room was sparkling. Never could I figure out getting a connection on the internet.

Stayed here for one night. Highly satisfied. Very clean property. Spacious and comfortable. Slightly disappointed the pool was not open as advertised, which would have been nice to know before booking. Overall good experience and would consider staying again in future.

The feng-shui and high ceilings were great, love the layout! The use of the space is cool. Snack bar didn't have the best options, and the restaurant by the bar had their kitchen a little early!

It was very disappointing… The shower didn’t have a medium. It was either hot or cold and spend 10 minutes trying to get it bearable, the sink didn’t get hot it was cold and we ran it for a while.

Not a positive experience during our one night stay

There's old underwear under the mattress, the light by door turns on the bathroom and bedroom so the whole place is blinded at once. The mocktail is an extremely nasty drink. Ours popped open and got liquid on the floor just sitting on the table.

We loved the spacious savvy suite we had. With 2 young boys, the extra room allowed them to stretch legs some without disrupting neighbors. Also its solid. You dont hear neighbors at all. My complaints: no microwave in room, and tv remotes were not the best when trying to find shows etc. Had to be right up on tv for them to work. Also even though the suite had ton of sqft. It was so open and solid that there wasnt a private spot in suite. Really petty stuff, honestly. It was great and id stay there again!

It was okay on location, kitchen food was 3/10 House keeping did not clean my room during my stay…no extra towels, and etc.

The room was absolutely clean, the bed comfortable, and I enjoyed the layout and vibe of the room and hotel. The location is really great as well, you're about a block away from the city center so you avoid the busyness while still being able to enjoy a walkable location. The view from our room was also a plus. This is definitely a place to stay if you're thinking of staying a 1-3 nights The AC is in the room worked really well, however only shot towards a corner of the room. A fan would help with circulation. The room wasn't hot at night, but it wasn't that arctic blast you're used to getting from a hotel.

Visited for our anniversary and we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The entire staff was great from the beginning of our stay to checkout. It was a first time experiencing Dallas and we are already planning to return with our kids next time. We’ll definitely be returning to this hotel

The ease of parking and the reasonable price was really appreciated.

The location was good. We definitely felt like the pictures online made it look a little nicer than it was in person. The layout of the room we had didn't make sense and all the lights were tied together on one switch. It was okay, but not really as good as we were expecting.

Again, wonderful throughout the entire hotel but, the condition of the room definitely needs attention.

The front desk staff were so courteous and accommodating. They stored my luggage when I arrived before check-in hours and also after I checked out based on my need. I would stay here again should I visit Dallas again.

Clean rooms, housekeeping is great. Very convenient in that it was right next to the convention center. Breakfast could be ordered, snacks were available. Water was very expensive and just two small bottles in the room. Bring your own water. Staff were excellent.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Assisted in every single thing. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. The only thing that was inconvenient was the noise, you can hear what is going on in the halls from inside the room.

The only minor hiccup was the elevator, which had a few issues during my stay, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Other than that, everything was enjoyable, and I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at Aloft Downtown Dallas on 2 occasions and have no regrets! Check-in is a breeze and the gentlemen at front desk made me feel "at home". Rooms are comfortable and I loved the modern, boutique design. Check-out was quick and easy. Enjoyed chatting with staff as they were decorating for Christmas and learned a bit about the history of the historic building that had been restored for the hotel. Highly recommend!!

In fairness, maybe I couldve ordered it before the race but its not good to run 8 miles with a full stomach. Was looking forward to replenishing after but couldnt.

Amazing hotel in a really cool historic building. Loved the attention to detail and ability to modernize the building while also honoring its past. Room was fantastic and spacious. Bed was comfortable and enjoyed the layout of room. The entire property was clean and well-kept. The pool area was very relaxing and ended up being a nice place to work on my computer and then take some relaxation breaks. Every staff member that we interacted with was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely return to this hotel if I stay in Dallas again and look forward to staying in another Aloft properties when I travel to other cities.

It was the most comfortable and smoothest stay ever. ALL of the front staff had an amazing attitude that made us feel welcomed. From checking in to our check out. Please look into the time i checked in to the time i checked out because who ever was behind that desk both times deserve a raise! The breakfast lady by the name Reyna was an absolute sweetheart and very attentive to our requests. I will defiantly consider staying here on my trips to Dallas going forward.

Staff was so accommodating and friendly!

The hotel was nice and in a decent location. The room was starting to show some wear though. The shower hot and cold adjustments didn't work well and TV streaming service and wired network connectivity didn't work.

The room was nice and the location was good, but I was woken up past midnight by staff banging on my door. I had requested approximately eight hours earlier, a pillow and blanket. This is already delivered at 7 PM. Due to critical failure and communication between staff, they believed it was a good idea to come, wake me up past midnight for another set of extra pillow and blanket. When I communicated this to management, they deferred the guilt to me in anyway that they could. They offered apologies but nothing else, other than pointing fingers stating that I had requested the pillow and blanket. After explaining to management that while I had requested pillow and blanket, it was already delivered, and I did not request the second set And did not appreciate being woken up out of my bed, being forced to answer the door to staff refusing to leave until I accepted this second round of pills of blankets. Terrible experience for a one night stay prior to having to wake up early for a meeting.

A very fun, arty, funky, vibrant hotel; staff was extremely friendly and helpful; the lounge/eating area was fun and relaxing; rooms are ample with cool bathrooms, and same fun/arty vibe; nice east-downtown location- there are not many restaurants, bars, shops in the area- so you'll need to venture out a bit; although it is in proximity to the arty Deep Ellum area, just to the east; nice fitness center; and the outdoor pool area is cool

We came for a conference at the convention center and our walk was actually closer than those who stayed at the Omni. We saved money and had a great experience! The staff was AMAZING with a capital A! Room was perfect and exceeded our expectations! Would highly recommend to ANYONE needing a room in downtown Dallas to stay here! We will be back! ~ the whole Wilson crew!

The staff was amazing! I checked in on my birthday, and they were very accommodating. The person who Checked me in at Montell (Pls forgive me if that is wrong) gave me room 828, which was my birthday, offered me a drink at the bar for my birthday, and gave me a gift card to FOGO for my birthday Dinner! He was amazing. I was able to walk to restaurants. There was a live band in the lobby on Friday night (AWESOME). I'm looking to book again when I come back to Dallas for New Year's!

I really liked this hotel. It was a really cool re-use of an old warehouse building. It has a gym and a nice pool, although the pool doesn't get a lot of sun. The rooms were very nice and the staff were really friendly. I was able to check-in early and had no other issues.

All went well for a one stay. My hotel king size bedroom was very clean and spacious.

I was only at my hotel for 5 hours but the staff made me right at home.

It was clean for the most part, but a different vibe and lacked modern charging and plugs in for devices and phones.

3 star average for “area around property”: 4 stars for convenience. Walking distance to exchange hall and easy access by car to everywhere else. 2 stars for safety. Dogs stay free but not very many safe spots to walk dogs. Must cross the street into pioneer park which isn’t well-lit at night. Parking also isn’t in a very secure lot. Also not factored into my star ratings—would NOT book on Expedia again. Paid 24 dollars extra a night for breakfast while booking on Expedia but the hotel only allowed voucher for 20 per room per night (although they did increase it to 25 dollars after spending the extra time speaking to staff about it). My breakfast purchase didn’t even show up on the hotel’s end until I asked about it.

The staff was awesome. The room and elevators smelled like dogs. The carpeted floor was dirty with dust accumulating behind the stone pillar near the wall as well as the metal hvac pipping hanging from the cealing. Half of the metal pipe was loaded with dust closest to the window. The toilet was broke. It took 1 hour to refill with water after flushing. The GM needs to check the housekeeping cleaning process.

The pool is closed, had we known we wouldn’t have booked here. There is no ice machine. And if you need toilet paper in the middle of the night you have to wait for housekeeping the next morning. The room was nice and centrally located.

The checking staff was very helpful about local food choices.

This place was a letdown. No complimentary breakfast, and they charge you to park every day. Cockroaches outside on the sidewalks—and even worse, we found one in our room. The shower leaked water all over the floor and into the hallway. The hallway reeked like a sewer. When we told the guy at the front desk about the roach, he just said, “Okay, I’ll let maintenance know,” like it was no big deal. This hotel is poorly managed and dirty. Honestly, not surprised—it fits right in with how run-down Dallas is. Super getto and disgusting filled with homeless people taking baths in water fountains sleeping everywhere.

System down. Stranger walked into room. No microwave in room. Iron hidden. No breakfast. Lobby band loud and very specific genre not ideal for most visitors.

Overall it was great. I was charged around $20 extra after we checked out with no explanation. I spent $60 including a nice tip at the bar and was charged over $80. and there was a puke? stain on our mattress that was visible when we woke up.

It was kind of gross. I also booked this hotel because it had a pool and the pool was out of service. I would not have booked the hotel if I would have known this.

I liked the modern style and the repurposing of the original building. I felt safe in the hotel and parking, but walking around in the downtown surrounding areas didn't.

The front desk staff were great, special props to Asa, who always provided exceptional service whenever we needed it. Location very convenient to the convention center where we attended volleyball tournament.

The pool was a total joke and when we got here to relax by the pool, it was getting drained which means we couldn’t even use it.

The hotel was amazing!! Our room was so clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a relaxing and restful night. The staff was friendly and kind. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are definitely coming back.

The building is beautiful and the room was awesome but the pool is really what we stayed here for and that was very disappointing. Would like to give them another try but idk honestly if i want to swim if I'll go.

I stay in at least 50 different hotels a year but this one stands out. From fast and pleasant check in and local restaurant recommendation when I asked to absolutely great roomy rooms for business workers to crazy water pressure for the shower! Anytime i need to stay in the vicinity of this hotel i will defiantly be staying here.

Great hotel room and location

Good proximity to the convention center. Felt safe right outside the hotel, but not so much if you wander a couple blocks away. The building is an interesting apparent renovation of an old factory. However, they didn't think through some things. For example, when you turn on the light in the sink area, it also turns on the light in the bedroom, so you wake up anyone trying to sleep--or you have to brush your teeth or shave in the dark. There is a nice exercise room.

I loved the amenities and the bar and entertainment, pool table, the Art, but I just did not like my room. I didn't like the Loft feel. The room was clean and the staff was extremely nice and professional

Everything in the hotel was great but the area has a lot of homeless people around.

We did a staycation, and severed stayed here before, cute hotel but the level of detail to the cleanliness was lacking. The carpets in the room felt grimy and when we entered the room we were met with a smell that resembled urine and mildew. We woke up in the middle of the night with our backs hurting and ended up leaving at 5am. We also only had a quarter of a window for light. The security in the parking lot was impressive for the area, and I never felt unsafe. Check in was great and throughly enjoyed the customer service that was presented.

We came in really late and the young woman at the desk was very friendly, understanding and helpful. This morning, the front desk ladies were also VERY nice. The rooms are SO spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. This is a lovely hotel and exactly what I would expect from a Marriott property.

Clean rooms, nice rustic decor, good view of downtown Dallas, nice attentive staff, and it has a bar.

The hotel has thick concrete between floors that muffles noise and footsteps. I slept very comfortably.

Our initial room the ac was broke but staff got us switched to another room…smaller but were able to provide roll away bed so that was perfect.

Stayed here for NCA and it was so convenient and welcoming with many NCA cute photo opp decorations they set up!

Both nights there were homeless men sleeping on the ground in the entryway of the hotel. There was a large, loud group of what appeared to be prostitutes staying there. My brother had to be moved to another room because the heat in his initial room wasn't working. My other brother's room was damp, the carpet was wet like the toilet had overflowed and it smelled like mildew. Needless to say, he was also moved to another room. The question was why was he assigned that room at all. Does anyone check the rooms first? My room was great, but given everything else, that was a first and LAST for me
