Reviews
Many guests experienced issues with their rooms, including malfunctioning keys, dirty conditions, and broken appliances. The hotel staff was often helpful, but there were problems with communication and responsiveness. The pool was a common point of disappointment, as it was frequently out of order or under construction.

The hotel was near the freeway and the conference. Clean Room never happens during the entire visit. Each day, I had to go to the front desk to get replacement towels and put trash outside the door. After 6:00 pm, there is no maid service or maintenance daily. Parking was not available because truckers take 5 parking spaces at a time. The back of the hotel has plenty of space, but it is not safe. The pool and jacuzzi did not have water, and customers were not notified. My encounter with front desk Sophia and Song was pleasant. They did not have any authority to discuss professional matters without speaking through their absent manager, Ms Bain, who offered no customer service. I requested a full refund from Expedia and my credit card.

The location was great for me. It was close to the things I went to Dallas for. The Pool was dirty! The remote seemed like it had previously been taped and someone removed the tape leaving a sticky residue. I was charged a pet fee for my service animal. When I called to request a refund the staff was rude. And the manager was very difficult to reason with. The breakfast was horrible uncooked pancakes from the pancake maker. The choices were making a sausage biscuit w gravy. A egg taco with un melted cheese. Oatmeal, some pastries, bagels. I would not recommend this location and parking is almost nonexistent.

Staff was great and the breakfast was very good! The bathrooms/ showers are in desperate need of an upgrade. Small lip of the shower ends up with LOTS of water on the bathroom floor.

Had a great stay but they never come to clean the rooms. I called the front desk 5/28/26 which was Wednesday and ask the front desk clerk can I get my room cleaned up because I was stepping out for a while. I got back nothing was done no beds made up nothing. So then 5/29/26 called that morning again to let them know I was going to be leaving can I get my room cleaned. And the clerk said don't worry about it they will get it cleaned. Well anyway before I left that day I ran into one of the housekeeping and ask her about it and she said no that they didn't tell her anything. Well I told her I spoke with the clerk and she said she was going to let you guys know. But make a long story short. She finally said she will get it clean. But when I got back she only made the beds up. No tub clean, no sink clean no vacuum no nothing except the beds made. The breakfast was excellent my stay was comfortable but as far as cleaning it was poor service.

Had to change rooms due to a random beeping in the room. Then the fire alarm went off at 1am. Front desk said it was a false alarm. I will not be staying at that hotel again.
- 5/5
I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast and how well kept everything was. I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn Express.

Gave $50 cash deposit went back next day somehow they couldn’t find the $50 said would be refunded to my card but my bank said I have no refund pending! This was 48 hours ago. I should’ve got the money back days ago.

Parking lot was full with at least 3 truck/trailers parked in the front and taking up at least 4 spaces each. I was forced to park in the back- single woman- I did not feel safe. The room directly above me was jumping on the floor and pounding walls. Tied to call front desk but hotel phone didn’t work. Had to walk down- at 2 am and ask her to intervene. She was on her phone. 10 minutes later I had to go down and ask again, she was on her phone again. I got the impression that she did not do anything the first time I asked.

Location Room was dated, worn and lacking

The water in the swimming pool looked murky, the hot tub had no water at all. The towels seemed thin and scratchy, the mattress passable but no that great. Breakfast was OK but not as many choices as other places I have stayed.

Just FYI they don’t accept ESA as service animals. I have stayed at other hotels and they accepted and waived the fees but not this hotel and the pet fee is high costing 50.00 plus TAX. I couldn’t cancel my reservation because i checked in after 3PM. Breakfast was okay room was clean but bathroom shower leaked into room area.
- 1.5/5
I didn't like that I didn't have hot water in my room from 1;00 a.m. 3/15/2026 until I checked out at 11;00 a.m. on 3/15/2026 I was unable to shower this morning. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance guy to my room and the only thing he did was remove the shower faucet and look up you tube videos on how to fix the issue Tha faicet knob isn't the issues because etnere wasnt hit water in the sink either. .Issues was never fixed and I had to check out without showering..Front desk Staff didnt apologizie for the inconvenience nor was i credited for not having hit water in my room. .

The beds were comfy and it was clean. That was it. It started in the parking lot. There was a woman begging for money, then when we walked into the lobby the the man behind the desk was sleeping. The room we rented didn't have any bath towels in the ine bathroom, the tv didn't work and the remote was missing, and to top it off the air conditioner was broken.
- 3.5/5
Breakfast wasn't that great. The light bulb in the bathroom went out.
- 2.5/5
When we arrive we saw a big roach crawling in the bathtub
- 3/5
Roomy, relatively quiet in the back side of the hotel. Location very close to major freeway; old, not-working and broken door fridge; broken and sharp edge of ONE and only chair, ugly views of the window; working hard, friendly but under staffed (I personally asked why they were working so long in a shift fir 12 hours in a row) employees.
- 0.5/5
Nothing I was charged twice almost $2000 I was charged twice

During my stay at different times in different rooms, the people above me were very heavy footed (walked loud). The 1st stay: the folks were hitting the walls and slamming against the floor.; running back and forth. I seriously thought to call the police.

Clean Room & Staff
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the workers were great!!!! 10/10
- 2/5
The floors had not been mopped, the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors were removed from the room and the beds were extremely hard and the pillows were useless. I will never stay or recommend a Holiday Inn to any of my colleagues.
- 3/5
Room was clean staff was nice… we chose this hotel Because it had an indoor pool and “hot tube” hot tube does not work and pool was cold as ice… if your thinking about the kids swimming in winter in an indoor pool on a vacation it’s a big NO!!! If you just want a clean room and a decent breakfast this is the spot..

It was great
- 3/5
It was just “ok”. Food was what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn breakfast. You won’t be blown away but you’ll get something in your belly. The floors in our room were FILTHY. I’ve come to expect that from hotels now. I don’t walk around barefoot in them. I came to Dallas for two nights with my daughters for a concert.. the first night when I came back in the room from taking a phone call, my daughters were in the bathroom washing their feet because they realized they were BLACK from walking on the floors barefoot for even just a few hours. That’s disgusting. We could tell they weren’t even vacuumed, let alone been steam cleaned at any time recently. I know if we paid luxury prices for a room we wouldn’t have experienced this. But you get what you pay for and apparently now with mid price hotels, you don’t get cleaned, vacuumed rooms. Gross.

This trip our bathroom had issues with water pressure, a leaky faucet and the toilet was slow to flush and needed a second flush. When we went to the parking lot this morning, one of our vehicles had the window smashed out and several items stolen. The vehicles were in view of the lobby. The clerk was very evasive about providing police phone numbers to make a report. The manager was contacted by phone and could be easily overheard directing the clerk to not provide information or allow us to see the security camera footage. The manager would not speak to us directly. Our other vehicle showed signs of tampering but it appears no property was stolen. Even bad events are tolerable if the management makes the minimal effort to help you handle the situation. Total loss for the damages and stolen property is in excess of $5000. After 10 years of great experiences we'll be looking for a new hotel.
- 5/5
We had an overall excellent stay with great customer service. We checked in, put stuff in our room and went to our event. When we came back the room was hot, the AC not working. We went downstairs and they immediately gave us another room just across the hall. Theres a decent little breakfast as well.
- 4/5
Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with lots of choices. A/C was a bit loud but we changed some settings to resolve it. Staff were nice enough to place us in a room on opposite side of the building from the freeway, and also to let us checkout an hour late for no extra cost. Easy drive to pretty White Rock Lake walking / cycling track.

Had a fabulous stay! I had the hotel booked for a single night for myself, my service dog and service dog in training. The room was clean and our stay overall was awesome. The only slight issues I noticed were that my remote didn't work for my tv and the pancake maker didn't work during breakfast hours. But those were such tiny details that it didn't affect the overall experience in the slightest!
- 5/5
Was just there for one night. Great location. Very comfortable.

No shade on window that faces interstate. Old coffee pods left in room from previous guest.

Room was great and a variety of breakfast options each day. Close to a Walmart and convenient location for the botanical gardens, Mesquite and Fair Park if you have a car.

Our room was wrong. The front desknstated it was an error but couldnt help. We booked a king room and had 2 doubles. When we presented the reservation confirmation, thwy would not hlep. The claimed it was sent to them as a double and handicap accessible. Interestingly, the room was a double, not handicap accessible. Will nit stay there again.

Overnight staff very sweet and helpful. Daytime staff rude and unhelpful. Pool freezing, hot tub not working.
- 2/5
Hot tub is cold and not in working condition We mentioned to the front desk and she mention it that the hot tub is cold and always been cold so is just a hole with cold water. and very disappointing They shouldn’t advertise these two areas
- 3/5
Everything was great except the pool was freezing. I have children who were ready to swim, the whole reason I chose a hotel with an indoor pool. Jacuzzi didn’t work and was freezing as well. Other than that everything was great!!

This is a nice place but they advertise a spa along with a pool. The spa is an ice bath with freezing water. Spa are hot not cold, eve their signs refer to it. Nice stay if you don’t care about a hot spa.
- 3/5
Well I have been to many and this was disappointing. Had trouble getting in room, and the pool. Ask for assistants from the front desk and felt I was bothering her by asking her to help me and serve me. She lets us in the pool area and didn’t inform us yay the pool or the hot tub were not working properly. Then had trouble getting extra sheets and pillows for the fold out couch.
- 4/5
In town for business and everything was good with the hotel. The only issue was the address listed on the hotel site kept taking me to a different hotel all together. And another time, it told me to exit 2 1/2 miles away from the hotel. Very dangerous for a solo traveler.
- 1/5
The reason for my ratings is because the pool was broken the heater was not working the hot tub was down everything was down the room was dirty it was freezing cold it took forever to warm up the room they wouldn’t give me a refund we spent a lot to stay here also the breakfast lady didn’t speak nooooooooooo English at all and she would catch an attitude if u try to ask for help so I went and got someone who speaks both languages and she said to ask her fr nothing because she feels she’s racist smh which I’m like why would y’all hire someone like that to work at this facility that’s horrible the lady at night was nice the sink was lose the tissue in our room was hardly any I’m very upset that I chose this hotel

I booked a room with 2 queen beds and a couch. No couch. Called front desk to get roll away bed, none available. Went to pool. Room key wouldnt allow access. Front desk clerk had to open the door. Spa was at a whopping 67 degrees and the pool was even colder.

My hotel room appered to be in a state of completion. Obvious signs of recent repairs, not completely finished.
- 2/5
No coffee pot, no ice bucket, no cable or way to watch TV, room was dirty, couch was disgusting, bathroom haf hair all over it.... it was gross.
- 2/5
Ok if you need a place to stay. The rooms are clean, but the beds are hard and squeaky, the tv was small, the bathrooms are small, the water pressure bad, the toilets don't fully flush, the breakfast was REALLY bad (anything hot was pretty much flavorless or actually bad tasting, but hey! it's food). The area around the hotel is highway, and it's hard to get in/out the parking lot. To be clear, it's not TERRIBLE, but it's an ok place to sleep when you need one.
- 3/5
One of the rooms we booked with not clean they did not have three rooms on one floor like we requested. They overcharged me $9.20 per room had to be refunded the breakfast was cold.
- 4/5
The hot tub was not hot, and the pool was not clear and cloudy. Very disappointing because I had my granddaughter with me, and she was looking forward to swimming.
- 3/5
They down graded since new management.
- 5/5
It’s pretty noisy due to the interstate traffic however the staff and breakfast was great!
- 2/5
Awful stay and not even offered a discount after a huge cockroach was found in our shower. They only switched our rooms and gave us one with raggedy shower curtains.😭😭😭
- 3/5
Check in was a at 4pm. We arrived at 5 PM and room was not ready yet. We had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to check in. I was asked to put in my credit card without being told why or how much. Check in person was not friendly. The hot tub did not work. It was like a freezer. The beds were comfortable. I stayed here before and it was nice. That’s why I chose to stay here again. The room was clean. I was not happy this time.
- 2/5
Booked two rooms, my daughter’s room was great, clean and well kept. My room was visually clean but had a horrible odor that was unbearable. I had to go to Walmart to buy Febreeze but even that did not help. This room should have been kept vacant until they could address the smell. I did enjoy the breakfast the next day as the food was hot and tasty.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice but the staff not helpful and rude
- 3/5
Breakfast was adequate. Nothing exceptional. Overpriced for what you get especially since there are 3 other hotels next door built about the same time with same amenities that cost much less. I don't recommend this property.
- 5/5
Great experience and will stay again,
- 4/5
The property was clean and pretty easy to get to. Staff was great and room was good. The bed wasn't that comfortable, but other than that it was a pretty good stay.
- 4/5
Great service! Our room door had to be forced closed (not a biggie), the sofa bed needed some updating, and the breakfast had options but not a lot of variety.
- 1/5
My bathroom toilet was not workingy entire stay and it was not fixed due to not having the part. Huge inconvenience.
- 1/5
I couldn't check in.
- 3/5
It was okay, room a little rundown, but slept well. The free breakfast was sad
- 2/5
Not great for a holiday inn. Gross old room, stained floors, damaged furniture, floor looks like it was fixed and caulked by a child. No fridge. Beds and towels were clean. Pool had way too much chlorine and hot tub was cold. Stay somewhere else
- 5/5
Easy and fast to get to something to eat
- 5/5
I recommend this hotel. The pool area was the best.
- 5/5
Very clean. Super nice staff. Breakfast was great, had more than muffins. Will definitely stay here again.
- 2/5
The pool was not open as advertised. No coffee in rooms
- 4/5
Nothing bad to say about the property. Stay was great.
- 1/5
The key card didn’t work an employee had to let me in my room every time I left. The showers had no hot water. Most of the outlets didn’t work. For the price you pay you would expect at least a hot shower.
- 3/5
The water was not warm for showers and the second day we had no breakfast. There was supposed to be a free breakfast but for some reason there wasn’t any breakfast.
- 1/5
I didnt not check in im waiting on my $$$
- 2/5
Not hot water in the shower. Some of the light bulbs in the room did not work.
- 2/5
People wondering around the property. My door key wouldn’t work so the clerk had to lest me in every time. Of course she was checking people in and out so I had to wait.
- 4/5
Pool and hot tub were closed.
- 1/5
I booked 4 days before and when I arrived the pool was not working
- 3/5
Typical hotel experience it was terrible , but we had key troubles twice most of the lights in our room didn’t work in the restroom and our family whom were also staying at some point didn’t have water
- 1/5
Was night very clean, ac in entire building wasn’t working properly. Rooms smelled, one room looked like it was 10 years older than the other room.
- 5/5
Excellent thread and great place
- 1/5
They knew for two weeks that keys would only work intermittently yet did not mention when I booked 5 days ago. Key worked once. Had to go from 4th floor to first every time I wanted to enter my room to get someone to let me in. One time it took manager 4 trips to get us in. Asked for some form of compensation when I checked out and they said I was able to use my room so no comp
- 1/5
Well to start , our room keys , had to get help , ac was way too noisey and in the morning we found our drivers side window smashed out and car broke into , it happened to at least 4 cars
- 5/5
Nice room, friendly staff, quiet
- 1/5
No cerraban las puertas , picina fuera de servicio en plena temporada de verano , cucarachas en el almuerzo , la empleada del lobby muy grosera y prepotente
- 1/5
The room was very dirty. The AC was leaking on the floor which made the room “wet” and the tv/remote did not work, nor did the phone. We change the batteries and still nothing. The floors were sticky and the staff could have cared less about our issues, especially since we booked through Expedia. From their mouths, there is nothing we can do, you booked through Expedia. The breakfast options were sparse and they ran out almost everything with over an hour left of breakfast. Not impressed.
- 3/5
This is not in the safest area. The check-in took too long and they did not even accept cash for an orange juice. The young woman at check-in was not very friendly. There was supposed to be a continental breakfast and there was nothing.
- 5/5
Everything ok.
- 1/5
Keys to my rooms didn't work. The cleaning lady had to open my rooms several times. The elevator didn't work on my first night. They said the storms in Dallas caused issues. We couldn't change rooms, but there were rooms available that weren't cleaned so we couldn't switch rooms. One of my rooms didn't have a shower curtain. On the last day of my stay breakfast wasn't available because one of the staff members didn't come to work. I tried to get compensation for alll of the inconvenience and tnt hotel denied it.
- 1/5
I need a refund electricity went out at 5/6 am
- 1/5
Nothing was working - no breakfast, no pool , broken laundry, no business center,AC was broken. NO COFEE… false advertising… why is this place even open. Also terrible customer service front desk. Oh and no playpen for baby.
- 1/5
AC didnt work. Made sleeping uncomfortable.
- 2/5
The place was decent. However, our bathroom door did not shut or even lock so we had to use our shoes to hold it shut. The ac did not kick on properly so the room was very warm.
- 3/5
Room promised Fridge- no fridge. AC was adequate but never really cooled to thermostat setting. Clean, comfortable bed but disappointing for a Holiday Inn.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Shower head was not attached and dangling from the wall. Would be nice to have a mirror in the room so someone can get ready while another is in the bathroom.
- 1/5
Room conditions are bad. Not normal holiday inn
