The room was large and the bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. It was quiet and very clean. We enjoyed our short stay very much!

Breakfast was good and had a great variety of options. Location was good and had a good sleep. Beds were comfortable. Everything was satisfactory.

A bit far from downtown, but was not problematic to find the place. Cleaning, comfy bed, typical breakfast.

The room was very clean. The breakfast served was very good, and the food area was consistently being cleaned by a lovely lady. My husband lost his wallet, and the staff was very helpful, checking the room several times.My husband found it in a different part of the hotel. The reason I only gave four stars is that the bed was really firm, and the pillows were so flimsy that it made for a rough night of sleep.

Only negatives were the elevators were extremely slow lol and the indoor pool was too cold to swim in.

Overall, this place was great. Clean. Helpful staff. Everything worked well. Minor gripes were small: sink faucet was barely over the edge of the side of the sink. People with large hands have an issue with this. Breakfast had good coffee and juice. Food offerings were meager and not replenished quickly. Still 4.5 stars. I would return.

Breakfast was marginal staff which was the breakfast person and front desk were both eating at same time not paying attention. Need to realize when they have to much water under items which makes it hard to get what you need. supposed to be hot items they were not. Today was potatoes chicken patty and omelette. Potatoes also had paper in container which made it hard to scoop out. I always book hotels that offer breakfast again this one was marginal. Also need to wipe the spigot on the creamer by the coffee as it had dried creamer on it making it hard to use I do work in food service.

We were having problems with the TV remote. They brought new batteries to our room. When that didn't work, they brought us another remote. The staff was great! Very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was more than adequate and the location was convenient for my needs. The staff was both friendly & helpful. I cannot recommend any changes or modifications. Everything went well during my stay.

The staff helped me greatly with directions for things I needed. They even put in the directions on my phone for the car rental return which turned out wonderfully easy for me. The bathroom door was a sliding door which was difficult for me to open and close.

I was impressed with how clean it was, and the size. I did not use the amenities but the only problem seen is that the elevator was out the morning we left. Everyone was really nice as well.

Elevators were broke when went to check so we had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs.

Great breakfast with several hot options (eggs, Oatmeal, Waffles, etc.). Located about 15-20 minutes from downtown which was perfect. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Pool was a little chilly but still fun for a quick dip

The room was very spacious and well decorated. The extending counter top in the bathroom was awesome. The water pressure could have been better. Bed pillows weren't very comfortable.

After a long hot day of working, the fire alarm occurred at bedtime followed by loss of elevator service. Bummer - but out of control by hotel.

Last minute choice in an area that I was not accustomed to, took a chance on newly built hotels and choose this one. We had a very late check in, driving up we saw several homeless walking around. Upon check-in, I made the comment, is our car alright out there? to which he responded, No. We removed all baggage before going up. We were told the police monitors and does drive thru's - that there is a problem with break in's. To our releif, nothing had occured over night. The beds are very comfy, usual bathroom. Breakfast was good. There is an overall musty smell - like it needs circulation. Over all we slept good. Bear this in mind, it is an old under developed area but looks like they are trying to fix it, just not sure if I would take the chance again, there again, it could happen anywhere!

This is a great hotel to stay at! It is surrounded by some not nice area but that doesn’t reflect at all on this hotel itself. The breakfast was great every morning and the staff was very friendly!

This property is in the wrong part of town. My catalytic converters were stolen over night. I wouldn’t recommend this area. The hotel was clean and staff friendly but they did send me a bill for $5 for parking that wasn’t mentioned after I checked out. Pretty sad considering my stuff was stolen from there parking.

Toilet was not flushing when we arrived for 3 night stay. Reported 3 times to desk clerk. Housekeeper plunged & later supposedly added chemicals, but still would not flush. Desk clerk claimed she’d tell manager 2nd day. No one ever came to repair. No flushing toilet.

House keeping wasn’t done cleaning our room by the check in time and we had to wait another 20min to get in the room.The door to my room was difficult to open and close, house keeping didn’t get to our room until 5pm the next day when we were trying to hang out before dinner. Overall a very meh experience but you get what you pay for.

My lights went out at my home at the last minute. I went there and I was treated well!

Check in was quick and easy. The desk clerk was cordial and accomodating. Room was spacious and very clean. This hotel is located on the Interstate and there is traffic noise outside but very quiet inside. We never heard any traffic noise in the lobby or inside our room. Pool and gym was onsite but we did not use either one. Breakfast was hot and adequate. The area provided lots of seating. There was a store in the lobby with plentiful stock of drinks, snacks, and essentials. They do not take cash there. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone staying in this area of Dallas and I will stay here again when in the area.

Our room was clean, but our friend who was in the room beside us pulled a whole thing of razors out from the door by the bathroom sink.... Which made me question how clean our room really was. It was definitely in a pretty sketchy area, BUT the parking lot was very well lit, you had to have a key to get inside the main hotel after certain hours, and it was surrounded by several other hotels, which did make it a bit more comforting. And none of the side or back doors would open for us and several other guests even when we all used our keys. We had to walk all the way to the front. The front desk lady who checked us in was super sweet though.

Great size room. Love that there's a microwave and refrigerator. Room was nice and cold. Check in was easy and pleasant. However, the hotel itself was very warm, and the beds are way too firm.

The whole place was clean, though we didn't use the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. The ONLY issue was an gaseous odor by the elevators and back door. The staff explained it, but there should be a way to get rid of it. Breakfasts were tasty, hot, and had variety. We will be back next trip to the area.

I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and beds were firm but I was not a fan of the pillows not a fan of the bathroom doors and shower is a little weird but other than that I would stay here again.

Had many problems here. Hotel smells like marijuana. First room tv was not working and refrigerator not working. Moved me to another room. Tv picture had a heavy blue. And toilets stopped flushing in the middle of the night. And of course no maintenence on site. And breakfast was horrible. Will never go back.

Fitst room 207 tv screen was blue and refrigerator did not work. Moved to another room 308. Half of the tv looked blue and refrigerator did not work. But i was too tired and went to bed.... Beds are very firm.

Studio room was very spacious and it was clean. Breakfast was Ok, not a lot to select from and it was across from a Walmart and right by the expressway so that was convenient. Food places nearby as well. The staff was accommodating when available and I did like that they offered me water and whatever snack I wanted from their selections upon check-in. I would stay again if in the area.

When booking a hotel, the main amenity that I look for is an indoor pool that I know my whole family will love. Well this hotel had a pool. BUT that pool might as well have been outside. The water was BELOW FREEZING. Why have a pool if you can't even swim in it comfortably? RIDICULOUS!!!! Other than that, the front desk were very friendly WHEN they were at the desk. Most of the time they were nowhere to be found. The area is kind of okay but there's a lot of homeless people within a 2 minute radius of the hotel. If we didn't need to be in Forney, there would be now reason I'd ever stay in this side of Dallas. There was a lot of people walking on the street behind the hotel so luckily we found parking in the front. The walls in the bathroom were dirty. You could feel and hear the bed springs when you sat down. Breakfast was the basic frozen stuff with old apples and some oranges. I guess it was an okay stay. I've been at better Hampton's than this one but it wasn't as bad as some other hotels that I have been to. JUST DO BETTER AND FIX THE POOL!!!!!!!! I wouldn't have even wrote all of this if it weren't for my feelings about the pool. >:(

First time in Dallas and the hotel was great. Excellent customer service and everything looked clean. This hotel is in a strip with other hotels next to it. The road leading out of the main entrance gets you to the major highways. Would book again.

This is the second time staying here and it was just as wondeful. Front desk has a beautiful smile and sweet disposition, especially nice after a really long day of traveling and hard week of all other things. Putting in a reminder that this is the place we should regularly frequent while visitng our SMU kiddo.

The bathroom had a bad smell. The person above me was stomping around all night and there was no way to report it cause there was no one at the desk. Also I was told parking was free and then was charge for it!

There was a terrible odor from the toilet after we showered this morning, almost a septic waste smell. And house keeping knocked on our door at 9 am even though checkout was at 11 am. Other than that the stay was great.

Alot of homeless, hookers and people doing drugs. A strip club on the next block. Hopefully someone reads this that needs that info specially traveling with kids

Passing through on our way to a convention, the Hampton inn at east Dallas was a great deal for an affordable price for two people.

My wife and our kids had a room and the door would not lock. It kept swining open. The front desk individual Martin did not care either. Called to get a refund and the manager Jerry spoke to me in a very disrespectful tone and attitude. The entire staff needs to be replace. Also multiple homeless people wondering the parking lot and looking into cars. I would NEVER recommend this place.

The main areas was nasty. Food dropping in the elevator, Half stock refreshments, The continental breakfast was half done, Juice dispenser out of order… just poorly ran. If I had a known, I needed to submit photos, I would’ve taken some. I didn’t I will not be returning there. Send a VP out and they will see for themselves.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and efficient. Place was quiet. Unaware of the $5 per day parking fee, but after spending $18-$45 for parking at other places I've stayed....that $5 is perfectly fine. Would definitely stay here again.

However, I did like the stores I needed were close by the hotel. As well, many restaurants to choose from in this area.

Excellent stay. My husband and I stayed one night here on our way to Oklahoma and I’m glad we did. This hotel is fairly new, very clean and with a great staff. 15 minutes away from downtown Dallas with no traffic and about 30 minutes with traffic. Would definitely recommend this place.

The place was in excellent condition. Clean and bright it was an uplifting experience. Our room was great with a wide screen tv and walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice sitting area in the room. The breakfast was delicious and my wife enjoyed the indoor pool. All-in-All we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great staff, Latonya and Ashley are great to deal with as well as the rest of the staff including maintenance. The homeless problem is rampant in Dallas. It was not uncommon to see a person asleep on the ground behind the dumpster enclosure or on the sidewalk of the hotel this morning, but all in all a very secure great place to stay!

My husband and I like the property because it’s very clean, relatively new, and has all the amenities we generally need. The breakfast is average, although there was an effort to have variety. We were woken up by a fire alarm at 3AM so we all proceeded to use the stairs to the front entrance. We didn’t see smoke or fire, and after a few minutes a fire truck came, but we were given the okay to go back to our room after just a few minutes. We were not informed of the cause of the fire alarm. Nonetheless, I would still say it was a pleasant stay.

Friendly when checking in, cleaning people were wonderful. Checking out in the morning the lady didn’t seem like a morning person. Wonderful stay loved my room, maybe there needs to be more lights my room didn’t have a ceiling light so I had to put all the lamps together. But lovely place!
