Reviews
The hotel is in a convenient location for events at the American Airlines Center, with some guests praising the cleanliness and friendliness of staff. However, many guests have complained about the outdated rooms, lack of cleanliness, and poor customer service from front desk staff.

The location was great, short walk to the arena! Our room was awful. The window wasn't sealed properly, so outdoor noise (traffic) made it hard to sleep. The bathroom had a constant leak in the shower.

Location was amazing! Easy walk to american airlines for our concert and really close to katy trail. The hotel in general is a bit outdated though. It was older looking than what I was expecting for location. But staff were really nice and garage parking felt very safe. Just wished it was more updated.

This property was less than a 10 minute walk to the American Airlines event center. It was clean and affordable plus it offers breakfast!

Super location, and very comfortable room. Short walk to the NBA which was a bonus. Plenty of parking.

Room we stayed in is outdated but it was clean. Breakfast is great!
- 5/5
The room was clean and well appointed and every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Great find for a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of the city.
- 5/5
Clean room, liked the location but only downfall is paying for parking. Other then that, parking seems safe but $42 per night is a little high.

Staff were rude and unwilling to even answer basic questions, property not in any condition similar to other hyatt properties

We booked a room with a king bed, as it was just me and my spouse staying a weekend in Dallas, but when we arrived the only room available was two double beds.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was in an easy accessible, nice location. We were able to check in and out easily and the parking garage entrance and exit was near the elevators so you didn't have to walk far. There is also ice cream available for purchase in the lobby which was a plus. Please notice the daily park fee is expensive and extra charge for this hotel when you plan your trip.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean, the decor was cute, and the staff was professional and accommodating—they even allowed us a late checkout. Anytime we needed anything, it was handled quickly. They also offer a daily happy hour, a clean gym, a nice pool, and a good location which were great perks. Overall, it was a really enjoyable stay and both my boyfriend and I loved it. Highly recommend!

The bed and temperature in the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was ok. The location was close to the doctor's office and hospital that we needed to go to for a medical procedure. The hotel (and Booking.com's listing) was not upfront about the parking fee for the hotel, and if they were, this wasn't very obvious from the listing. With tax, it was over $41 a day. This was an unexpected cost we were slapped with when we checked in. If we'd known it was going to be that expensive, we'd have stayed in a different hotel a little further away. The food for breakfast was adequate but most hotels at this price point have better options. Here, most of the options that were available were pre-frozen/warmed up (eggs, sausage, french toast sticks). They ran out of bagels, and there weren't any pastries, and if you wanted a waffle, you had to have a hotel staff member make it for you. There was a QR code to "tip" the staff member (presumably for making your waffle). I wanted a waffle, but I would rather make it myself than feel obliged to tip someone to make it, especially after having to pay $41/day to park!

The size if the fridge. Paying $34 per night for parking while being a guest is a lil bit too much I think. Complementary breakfast should have more variety of food. An the rooms should be update on look especially for the price being charge.

It was a nice stay. Friendly staff and the free breakfast was a perk. I just didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for parking and you had to request for your room to be cleaned. Apparently housekeeping only comes if you request it

I liked the spaciousness of the suite and the location. The roof of the shower had a leak that was being held together by the paint job. We warned front desk about it before it bursted all over the bathroom floor, thankfully none of my belongings were in there. When the maintenance man came to fix it through the lid above the shower the leak was resolved, but the lid was not properly secured. We called front desk and they told us they’d send someone immediately but no one came. When we were asked for our stay to be financially amended in some sort of way they offered us free parking even though we parked at a totally different garage due to their insane daily parking fee($50)! They offered us another night to be “discounted” through their parent site but when I compared the price they were offering it was almost identical to the price Booking.com would offer. We were totally blown off by front desk and they acted like they couldn’t even be bothered even though they weren’t busy with other guests and there was debris and the ceiling tile all in our bathtub we weren’t able to use! Wires were hanging from it so we couldn’t even take a shower before we left without the fear of possibly being shocked. It’s a shame because when we arrived we were doting on how nice the suite was but the way we were treated by front desk was unacceptable. The bartender was really cool and took care of us while decided to hang out by the pool when we arrived. Will not be returning to this location, hospitality was almost none existent here. We were treated like a nuisance even though we couldn’t even use a major amenity and received poor service. Most places would give a refund or at least properly fix the issue at hand. Please do better.

My favorite place to stay in Dallas
- 5/5
Hotel is walking distance from restaurants and the American Airline Center.

The location was great close what we need, Staff was very helpful. Something was going on with the elevators with a strong oil smell

Our stay at The Hyatt House was Amazing in every way!!! From the time we arrived, Mariah and Valentina were so helpful, sweet and professional , we felt relaxed and right at home. Our apt room was ready and impeccably clean and comfortable! We surely will stay with you all ag next time we are in Dallas! Thank you so much!
- 5/5
Front staff were quick, efficient and super friendly my entire stay. They have a small shop full of essentials which was wonderful for my 3am headache. I was able to grab some Advil, check out quickly and head back to bed. Super grateful. The rooms are big, with a full kitchen, walk in closet and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was hot, fresh and very convenient.

Good location uptown area Clean Nice people

Great stay
- 2.5/5
The location and staff were wonderful. The rooms are nice, and beds are comfortable. Nice selection on the concessions bar down at the front desk. I think maybe the vents need a little cleaning or something. All 3 of us that stayed, started coughing like crazy and getting stuffy noses after returning to the room for the evening. The breakfast is pretty lack luster, and normally we love hotel breakfast. The $40 to park is a bit steep.
- 4/5
Coffee in the lobby was good overall and HOT! Again many hotels have crappy coffee but you surpass them with this brand. Coffee in the rooms is terrible. We poured it out after one sip. Bitter, bitter, bitter.
- 4/5
Every thing was great, except. The showers hot water never got past warm.
- 2/5
The hotel is old and in desperate need of an update. Everything needs a refresh-the linens, the decor, the bathrooms, everything. It felt depressing to stay there. The parking is outrageous. $40 (with fees) for self park. I felt like i was being robbed. The staff was very nice and none of this is their fault. I would not stay here again and do not recommend.
- 5/5
easy check in/out, helpful staff, quiet, comfortable, clean, spacious room hotel does not offer half day rates:/

I didn’t like daily charge
- 1/5
I have never experienced and in a business trip and headed out of Dallas at 6am I was forced to sleep in my rental car at the airport from 230am to 530am. I understand things happen but it’s how you take care of it and the hotel left men hanging not trying to help and hotels.com left me hanging as well… 5 total hours waiting for another place, confirming I was at the right hotel (which I was)
- 2.5/5
My bedding was horrible!! I had 2 rooms with the same issue.

The room was very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on getting to the ACC I had to move the plug for a lamp because the one it was in did not work.

Breakfast was bland, our room fridge did not work and parking for two nights was $81 (yes I was aware, it’s still expensive!) all staff however was fabulous.
- 1/5
Our room was not ready it was almost 5pm they upgraded us to an available suite- ac was not working temperature in the room reached 78 degrees. Changed our room to a much small room.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
The breakfast bar was great and the staff was very attentive to our needs. Happy hour with Billy was cool too. The location of the hotel is great. Easy walk to the Katy Trail. The pool and the fitness room were also nice add ons (need to fix the hot tub though!).
- 5/5
Excellent large room, with sitting room and kitchen. Comfortable and quiet. Gated parking garage. Minimal, but adequate, breakfast. Walking distance to AACenter. A lot for a little money.

The hot tub had cold water for over half of our stay. I would have given a higher rating if it worked unfortunately.

We only stayed one night but it was a great stay. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

Big rooms, nice bedding, clean, great breakfast with lots of GF options. Great location. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. Not luxury but had everything we needed!
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful Tammy was wonderful every morning at Breakfast, always wishing us a good morning
- 5/5
Everything was very nice with the exception of the surprise and paying extra for to park
- 5/5
I did not look for or use the gym. The hotel is walking distance to American Airlines Center. Perfect for an event.
- 5/5
The location is perfect if you rent a car. I went for a concert at American Airlines Center which is at walkable distance. Special shoutout to Valentina at reception, she was so warm, efficient and friendly. Also, the housekeeping Manager Rocio! <3 :D and Tammy, we really enjoyed our stay at Dallas in this Hyatt Hotel. Best Hotel so far, and hey I travel a lot, this is a huge thing! :)
- 4/5
Great place to stay when going to a concert or anything at American Airlines Center. Short walk. Safe area. Easy parking.
- 5/5
Our venue was within walking distance
- 4/5
Great location-walking distance to American Airlines Center and restaurants. Unfortunately a downside was that our room was next to a busy street that was loud. Other than that, it served it's purpose for our price point!
- 4/5
Friendly staff, easy check in, spacious rooms.
- 5/5
Nice property as all Hyatt house are /Good area - Good value for the price
- 5/5
It was clean and quiet. The location was perfect for dining and visiting the aquarium. The staff were friendly and helpful!
- 4/5
Clean room friendly staff
- 5/5
Great size room for a family trip, friendly staff, first night the hot tub was cold, but by the next night it was fixed. Tammy, the breakfast host is amazing! She took care of everyone, made amazing specialized waffles for all of the guest who wanted one. The bar tender was also very friendly.
- 5/5
Our walk to American Airlines center was very fast. Tammy in the breakfast area was our favorite and helped us out.

While the staff was pleasant and polite, the street noise at night and early morning was not pleasant, especially if your room is on the street side of the hotel
- 5/5
Clean room and helpful friendly staff. Hotel close to dining areas.
- 5/5
Is a good place to stay close to American airlines and Jim was great maybe you could add a little more but it was good
- 4/5
Nice hotel and very close to the AAC.
- 5/5
My family and I loved our stay. The staff were amazing and our room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Had a bit of an issue upon checking in I was told that the room I reserved and paid for was no longer available as they had over booked. I reserved this room 3 months prior. I was in then told that I would be walked to another hotel on the Hyatts dime. I was upset and irritated. Told the young lady I was going to step outside while she and the manager she was calling figured it out. As I did not want to put that energy on her. 15 mins later stepped back inside to be told the “found” a room. It was an accessible room which was to them an upgrade at no cost to me and my parking for both nights were comped as well. Breakfast both days were wonderful. Ms. Tammy was awesome!! She was very attentive to all the guest and has the best smile! Even with the slight bump with check in. My daughter stated she loved her trip and she would love to come back and only stay at the HYATT house. So will see y’all in the next few months!!
- 1/5
Alot of noise on top of us If i could ask for refund I would

Staff was great, location was great, room was very clean!
- 5/5
Clean room. Amenities were good. Easy walk to American Airlines Statium
- 4/5
Location is fabulous if you are attending an event at American Airline Stadium. We walked there and back easily. Parking in the ramp was $35/day and super tight if you drive anything larger than a car, but has in/out privileges. The hotel is a bit outdated and the AC was super loud. Plus you hear road noise, especially if your room faced Harry Hines. Staff is friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed a few times and would stay again.

Amazing stay overall. Mrs Tammy was so attentive in the breakfast bar she has excellent customer service. All the staff was very nice.

ALL of the above.

TV in general area was not fully functional. Had to stay in bedroom to watch television. Maintenance attempted to fix the problem but said it was a faulty television that they couldn’t fix. Awaiting a call from Management to determine what can be done for the huge inconvenience.
- 4/5
But its time to renovate tiles in the shower
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 4/5
I only stayed 1 night for a concert, and overall, the stay was great. Easy walk to American Airlines. The hotel was clean, older, love the fact that my car was behind a gate. Free breakfast is in the morning, and there were many options with friendly help! I did not get a chance to take advance of the bar. Only complaint I have is the very thin walls, heard everything around me, felt like I was staying in an Apartment. But I will stay again.
- 5/5
Front desk reservation staff were great. The food we order on the menu was great and our room was nice!
- 3/5
Room was updated but still bathroom was rough. Only one mirror in entire suite. Bathroom was dirty. Also parking told us it expired before the check out time
- 4/5
Staff was all nice, especially Tammy, at the breakfast area. We chose this location due to its close proximity to the American Airlines Center. Only about a ten min walk. Enough people walking back from the game at night, so felt safe. Construction going on all around us, so was noisy, but being that we were here only overnight, was not a big deal. Parking garage costs an extra $45 to stay at this hotel, so keep in mind when selecting hotel. This wasn't disclosed on website upon booking. Overall good for our needs, would recommend for an overnight stay.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staffs was friend, and helpful. They provided more towles as requested. Tammy made great waffle, and tooke great of the guests at breakfast.
- 5/5
Room was clean, had a little black mold in the bathroom though, don’t agree with having to pay parking fees. Tammy from the breakfast bar was great, as well as Abby from the H bar was awesome as well
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Quick and easy..
- 5/5
The cleanliness, the fantastic linens on the bed, the lovely kitchenette area, the friendliness of the front desk - I could go on and on! Loved our stay!
- 3/5
Room was in good condition. The bed was really hard but the soft pillows were nice. The PARKING is horrendous. You’re already paying for your hotel, and in addition you have pay for parking on top of that! They make you go through some sketchy QR website and when you look up that website on Google or any web browser you can’t find anything, honestly I was very hesitant to give this website my credit card number, none of it seemed legitimate. When I was browsing the website for the parking if you click on about us or terms of conditions it keeps you on the same page with no additional information. When you click “contact” us it’s some guys email that lives in Florida? The whole things is very sketchy, I will NOT be returning to this hotel. The only reason why they have some stars from me is because the breakfast lady was very very kind and super sweet, I think her name was Tammy. She was cheerful and very attentive to any questions or needs we had. 5 stars just for her… the rest of the stay was awful.
- 4/5
Room was very clean, check in was easy. The lady running breakfast was so friendly and nice. My only complaint was that I didn't have a remote for the TV. I reported it and was told housekeeping would bring a remote up but I never got one. No big deal at all. All the staff was nice and friendly too.
- 5/5
Fast check in. The rooms were spacious and clean.
- 5/5
shout out to tammy!!! the lady that was in the kitchen and dining area! and the cleaning ladies, too!! kept our room so clean.

A good room, very functional hotel.
- 4/5
Nice staff, decent breakfast, location
- 3/5
Breakfast server, Tammy, was excellent! Derek at the front and. Illy at the bar were so very friendly!
- 3/5
Very noisy room.
- 3/5
parking cost has gone up to $35 per night and has to be paid via app, which charges fee and taxes. comes to over $40/night in just parking. no longer an economical choice.
- 1/5
The rooms were very outdated. I got 2 rooms at this location. 1 room had so many maintenance issues and should have been fixed before having any guests stay in there. The 2nd room smelled so bad. I had to go buy room freshner just to be bareable to stay there. I would not recommend this place for the price that they charge. $35 a day to park!
- 4/5
I like the room. Everything fine there. The kitchen was extremely limited, and there was no way to clean pans. A soft washcloth doesn’t get it off.
- 2/5
The staff was amazing. However the bar was subpar at best. The room had cable from the 1970s with only like 10 channels. They “upgraded” me. However there was paint tape on a desk they clearly had just got done painting and didn’t remove. There was dust on all of my vents and the counters were dirty. Great staff just the facilities were not good by any means which is a sad thing since it is a Hyatt House. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Great location close to walkable area. Felt safe!
- 5/5
quite and close to the restaurant's and attractions
- 5/5
Quick and easy check in! Even on New Year's Eve 😁
- 5/5
cleanperfect!
- 1/5
Worst hotel so stinky no Parking at all and they don’t even give you water you have to buy everything
- 5/5
Very courteous staff, room was dated but clean and comfortable. Perfect walk to the American Airline center. Breakfast was hot and the area was clean and well stocked. Would def stay here again
- 5/5
Great room... Proximity to the American Airlines Indoor Arena for the Dallas Stars. We watched an awesome hockey game between the Stars and the BlackHawks of Chicago. Great place to stay.
- 5/5
Derrick, front desk clerk, was so funny, friendly and a joy to speak with. He never lost his cool when the line was long. He made every customer feel important. This is our third time staying and it’s always a pleasure.
- 5/5
Front desk staff wss great.
- 5/5
Tammy at the breakfast bar was very friendly and helpful! Check-in was easy
- 5/5
The full kitchen in the rooms with the separate Bedroom was very nice and clean. Breakfast was self served daily and area was kept clean . Hot tub was the best part !!!!! Felt so good after running around for Christmas.
- 5/5
Great place.
- 5/5
My wife and i go to 4-6 Stars' hockey games a year, and we think staying at the Hyatt Uptown and walking to the AAC is SOOOO much better than parking in the public parking and driving home afterward! As for the breakfast, the Hyatt Waffle Lady is awesome!
- 4/5
Location, staff, breakfast were awesome. The biggest deficit was the cleanliness and general upkeep needs. Overall, we would use this hotel again for a quick trip.
- 4/5
Good location, amazing bar, however, it's an old bedroom.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and the lady in the kitchen was very nice
- 5/5
Perfect. Thank you.
- 4/5
Ms. Tammy was amazing we looked forward to seeing her every morning
- 4/5
Room was clean but tired. Frayed carpet at junction with bathroom tile function of high wear. Stepped on nails from carpet tack strip 2x. Staff exceedingly polite, professional, and engaging (ft desk, cleaning, breakfast area).
- 5/5
Everything was nice so was the staff
- 5/5
Great customer service.. Derek offered wonderful dining options, Tammy was reading my mind when I asked her for a small waffle, perfectly executed what I was thinking! Rooms clean and spacious.
- 4/5
My overall stay was great. The property was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. My only complaint is the parking fee. It ended up costing me $53 in parking fees for one night, and I had to leave early to avoid further fees. I don't think it's appropriate to charge a parking fee when I've already booked a room. Parking should be included. To be honest, the parking will likely deter me from staying at the hotel again unless it's absolutely necessary.
- 5/5
Nicest staff ever.
- 5/5
Walking distance to the American Airlines Center.
- 5/5
Close to AAC. We were in for a hockey game. Staff very friendly especially Miss Tammi at the waffle station for breakfast
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff were welcoming! Derek and Tammy made us feel welcomed for our first ever visit to Dallas. They made us feel at home!
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Picked this hotel for walkable distance to an event at American Airlines Arena. Very clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast.
- 5/5
Good service, clean room, amazing location
- 5/5
This hotel has all of the amenities that make for a good stay. It has a restaurant and bar that stays open late. It has a parking garage with self parking. It's just a few blocks from American Airlines Center. It has an ATM and a small store at the front desk. The rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator. The front desk employees were friendly and efficient.
- 3/5
The hotel is going through renovations but the quality of craftsmanship is poor. BefSloppaintbjobs and broken curtains
- 5/5
Front desk staff were very helpful in determining if we should Uber to Bocelli concert or take our own car. Uber was correct choice. We will be back in the future ! thank you!
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh!
- 3/5
Staff was courteous and friendly.
- 3/5
The overall conditions of the property were just ok. Several people smoking weed in the parking garage and you have to pay for parking separately from the hotel, which for two nights totaled almost $100.00 dollars. This is not a good value.
- 4/5
The breakfast was great, room was clean and stocked with the essentials. The hotel has a good location, walking distance to restaurants and the Katy trail. It was perfect for our family 5, 3 young kids. We especially enjoyed Tammy, she worked several days that we were there. She is so friendly and hospitable. She made our mornings very pleasant. Breakfast wasn’t the same when she was gone.
- 5/5
Clean room with everything we needed! Staff was friendly; garage parking. Just a short walk to American Airlines Center, restaurants, and museums. Will definitely be back for future events!
- 4/5
Spent one night. Good property and location for the price. The room was nice. Not a fan of having to pay extra to park, but at least it was controlled access. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was limited with only a single meat (Canadian bacon/similar type that I skipped) option. Someone on our floor had what sounded like a dog that had a high-pitched bark that was barking in the mid-afternoon (when we arrived) and the next morning. Overall, though, I would stay again.
- 4/5
Over all good stay
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic and personable!
- 5/5
Staff was great. Super friendly, especially Tammy! She was so kind at breakfast and did a great job cleaning our room.
- 4/5
Older hotel, things in room not working. Prompt attention to fix after I reported.
- 4/5
The staff however were all very helpful and courteous, and we had no issues during our stay. It´s a perfect place to stay for AAC, it´s less than a 5 minute walk in a nice neighborhood.
- 5/5
Great staff, close to AA center, big room
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly. $35 daily to park seems bit excessive.
- 5/5
Spacious room was very clean and welcoming
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Great stay and place to stay for a stars game or a mavs
- 2/5
Rooms were clearly outdated and not cleaned well. Black dust all over ceiling near vents, mysterious stains on window blinds and carpet. Lady servicing breakfast area had one goal and it’s was to get guests out of there as soon as possible, even at 6 am on Saturday when it was very empty. You can stay at a much nicer place in downtown Dallas for the same price.
- 5/5
Room was super clean and the staff was super friendly!
- 3/5
Room seemed clean but there was a roach in the microwave and bugs in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Very clean, large room w/kitchen and walking distance to American Airlines arena.
- 5/5
Great staff, nice rooms, good location.
- 5/5
The lady who manages the breakfast room in the morning was amazing. Super friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great staff !
- 5/5
It was great!
- 5/5
Perfect location, nice people
- 5/5
Everything was great! I just wish I had seen that there was a hot tub, because I would have totally taken advantage of it.
- 5/5
The hotel is close to American Airlines Center and walkable to downtown areas. Access to and from the freeway was easy. Safe location and parking. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Overall stay was great. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Tammy at breakfast was wonderful. Very pleasant, inviting, helpful and made great waffles. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. Derek was great! Helpful and funny.
- 5/5
Great experience!
- 5/5
Great room! Gated parking garage. Within easy walking distance of American Airlines Center. Good value. Highly recommend
- 4/5
I only stayed one night but I enjoyed my stay especially the breakfast buffet. The choices were a little limited but the food tasted great. Parking is $37 per night.
- 1/5
The hotel has roaches. A GIANT roach was on the floor and made its way into my luggage. The room had a mildew smell, the floor felt like it was about to collapse, building sways when the wind blows feels very uneasy. This is not a place worthy of your cash, time, or patience.
- 4/5
Room was lovely albeit very dark and view was internal onto the pool. Good check-in with okay breakfast. Overall staff did not seem enthused about their job and we only stayed there due to proximity to stadium.
- 5/5
room was spotless, parking was easy and staff was excellent. Highly recommend.
- 3/5
Not bad for the price relative to others in the area but could use quite a bit of modernization to the rooms.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
Facility is average when compared to other Hyatt properties. Parking lot is dusty and very compact NOT pick up truck friendly. Staff was not welcoming just handed a copy of instructions- not even pointing to elevator Mr the acccess to the garage - not busy at all al the time. I needed Tea refilled- there was only 2 bags when we checked in - went to the lobby the lady there was almost rude offering no help just saying that I needed to wait for the kitchen ladies in the morning. Not a recommended location.
- 1/5
Charged my card twice for the stay. No pay for parking on expedia but $36/per day at check in. Did not clean room or give new clean towels.
- 5/5
Miss
- 5/5
Reception desk was great at check-in & great eating options Bartender was great

Courteous staff, clean rooms, amazing location
- 5/5
The location was fabulous. People were helpful.
- 5/5
The room is spotless and organized. I really love it there
- 5/5
Clean room that we appreciated! All the staff were great! Good humour and helpful. Breakfast is your basic continental breakfast but QUALITY food!
- 5/5
Yes, breakfast is nice and decent. I really like it
- 5/5
Perfect for events at American Airlines Center
- 5/5
Clean room, kind and courteous staff, very efficient
- 3/5
A older hotel, without daily room service but was clean. Excellent breakfast fair amount of airplane noise.
- 5/5
Awesome staff!
- 5/5
We would choose to stay here again based on staff alone, but the location and the quality of our stay were equally important.
- 4/5
The staff very friendly and room really spacious.
- 5/5
smiling, and made us feel we were at home. I'm sorry I didn't get her name because she deserves praise for the job she does. The rooms were quiet and clean! We were very happy with our weekend stay.
- 4/5
Front desk staff was super friendly at check in. Let us check in early. We were always welcomed when we walked through the doors. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Tammy at breakfast was the hostess with the mostess! So friendly, thoughtful, and you can tell she really loves her job! Thoroughly enjoyed talking to her. Billy the bartender...what a gem! He welcomed us to his bar, treated us like family, and made AMAZING drinks! Both Billy and Tammy truly made our stay more delightful.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the desk was extremely friendly and personable.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Breakfast was good, didn’t need a car , Uber solved our transportation issues!
- 5/5
Great location for restaurants and business meetings!
- 4/5
Great location for events at the American Airlines Center.
- 5/5
Spacious and clean. Great bang for your buck
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean. Likes the garage parking. Breakfast was not as good as expected but did have a few choices. Overall good stay and would stay again.
- 3/5
The accommodations were fine. No issues. Our room faced Harry Hines Blvd and was extremely noisy with racing/loud bikes and cars at night/early morning. This is not the properties fault, but maybe they could encourage the local police to patrol the area more.
- 4/5
Great staff and service and the breakfast was amazing but the hotel is older than it looked in the pictures. It was clean, everything worked and we treated wonderfully!!
- 5/5
Parking was great, breakfast was so so. Walkability was the absolute best!
- 2/5
We didn’t even sleep the whole night its really noisy
- 5/5
Came for a Stars game. This area is walkable with restaurants close by. Clean room.
- 5/5
Everyone was lovely. In town for a conference, quick Uber to multiple places. Clean room.
- 5/5
Would recommend this location to anyone travelling with business or leisure. Every employee was extremely welcoming. kept up to date faciltiies.
- 2/5
Poor service.
- 5/5
Breakfast was made to order for pancakes and eggs
- 5/5
Breakfast Staff was amazingly helpful and super nice.
- 1/5
Parking area smelled like pee and trash over the place people could come in because the outside door wasn’t even locked it was broken
- 5/5
Staff was great and room was clean
- 5/5
Staff was amazing!! Can’t beat the location!
- 5/5
Close to American Airlines center, was able to walk back from concert. The first room we got assigned, the A/C was not working but was assigned another room quickly. Staff was great, breakfast was good.

- 5/5
Stayed here for the recent WWE Monday Night RAW. Will stay again. Breakfast was fabulous!
- 5/5
Found the Hyatt House by searching for the closest hotels to the American Airlines Center. Only about a ten minute walk. The staff was extremely welcoming and transparent and did a wonderful job at making me and my friend feel welcome. The next time I go to an event at the AAC, I will be staying again.
- 5/5
Great service would recommend.
- 5/5
Walking distance to American Airlines Center.
- 1/5
This property was not at all as described. It was old, dirty and definitely not in Uptown Dallas. It was so bad we left a day Early until we could find a better hotel.
- 3/5
Beds were comfy and hotel location itself was good.
- 5/5
The gym was great, but breakfast tasted awful
- 5/5
Wonderful Stay
- 5/5
This hotel was great and loved that we could walk safely to American Airlines Arena. The check-in went smoothly as well.
- 5/5
Great option for concerts and sports events. Tammy was amazing dearing breakfast. And the staff was very friendly
- 4/5
Decent property close to AAC with spacious rooms. Excellent service!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Quiet
- 5/5
The staff was extremely nice and professional. We enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Upon arrival they gave us the wrong room but fixed it immediately. Comforters in bedroom NEED urgent update. Put them against sunlight and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Food options for breakfast extremely limited. Overall good hotel.
- 5/5
Nice, large room with full size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Large couch. Good tv and comfortable bed. Only complaint is poor lighting in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Clean comfortably accommodating room
- 4/5
Clean rooms, clean environment
- 5/5
Great room, easy check in. Room was ready before check in time. Friendly staff. Recommend!
- 5/5
Clean rooms and staff was very polite.
- 5/5
I had a great stay! The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making check-in and any requests smooth and pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Definitely recommend and would stay again!
- 4/5
Good spot, no real complaints.
- 5/5
Check in was super easy and the staff were great. I really enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Great staff a clean!
- 5/5
Amazing guest service at check in. Room was clean and very spacious! Great location to walk to American Airlines Center. Went to a concert with my daughter and it was a short walk and felt safe walking there and back!
- 5/5
8.5 out of 10 in cleanliness
- 5/5
Next time
- 4/5
Property is beautiful but had maintenance issues
- 3/5
When I went to check out this morning, the girl at the counter was sound asleep. I tapped on the counter lightly. I didn’t want to startle her, but she didn’t wake up, so I did not get my receipt.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice breakfast,
- 5/5
Great service from the staff and the proximity to restaurants and shopping made for a excellent stay.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff! We accidentally left a bag there and were so relieved when we called to ask about it. Housekeeping had found it, and the bag was waiting for us to retrieve at the front desk. We are very grateful for everyone’s help! Also, Tammy, the breakfast attendant, was especially friendly during our stay. This hotel’s location is ideal to walk to events at the AAC. We also enjoyed walking on the Katy Trail nearby and walking to Ocean Prime to dine in the bar area.
- 4/5
It was convenient location to my event
- 5/5
Stayed 2 nights on a recent business trip and it was great! Good location, nice clean room that makes a good first impression and smells nice, comfortable bed, good hotel amenities, good price and reasonable parking rates. I definitely will stay at Hyatt House locations again.
- 4/5
The gym could use some serious updating!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Very nice stay and location
- 5/5
Room was great. King bed and sofa to watch TV. Had a complete kitchen, but we didn’t use it for our stay.
- 5/5
Staff was very kind and helpful. Parking garage is secure and can be accessed from every level. Room was clean and was surprised to find a stove, fridge, dishwasher, pots and pans, plus dishes. Will book again.
- 1/5
No hot water, room is very outdated, not clean, in no way matches the online photo description. My wife had no sleep and had to change hotels after one of a three night stay in Dallas. Very disappointing experience for our platinum membership.
- 2/5
The buffet has
- 5/5
We chose this hotel for our visit because of its proximity to our son’s apartment. The staff (hello, Ms. Tammy!) was very nice and helpful. There were some features that were a little worn (like our bathroom door handle & window shades) but the entire hotel was clean. We took advantage of the continental breakfast, the gym, and the pool and all were great! We walked to restaurants, bars, & the aquarium, so the location was ideal. There was a really funky smell in the lobby area a couple of times, but it did not impact our stay.
- 5/5
Cedrick and Tammy are always so friendly and welcoming. Billy at the bar was so nice and accommodating as well. We visit just for them.
- 3/5
They didn’t read special instructions so had to wait forever for them to resolve an allergy issue. Took tub 20 minutes to drain and the coffee pot in room did not work.
- 4/5
The front desk staff gentleman with the fun hats was a delight and the bar side was great. The room was big and clean, no issues. The buffet breakfast was okay. The use of disposable everything is disturbing. The pool are was very neglected and not cared for at all. No garden or aesthetic appeal at all. . The location was perfect for us and we utilised the public transport.
- 4/5
It was clean and quiet. Parking was easy in their parking garage however didn't expect the parking fee of $29 a night. Overall it was a bargain it had a whole little kitchenette full size refrigerator. Dishes and pots and a countertop range... Would have stayed longer if we had known but we were headed home.
- 1/5
Room did not match the pictures at all. Front staff had an attitude when checked in. When first came into the room, there was a hint of a bad smell, after 3 hours, it stinks so bad of pet poop and pee that my husband and I couldn’t sleep all night. The only good thing about this place is their breakfast attendee was so nice and sweet.
- 5/5
Staff is super nice.
- 5/5
This was our second time staying and it was great!! Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Not sure what the amazing ladys name is but she worked in the breakfast room on Tuesday and Wednesday. She was so happy and helpful she sent me off happy to have a good day!! She made me look forward to breakfast the next day.
- 5/5
close to restaurants and uptown shopping
- 1/5
The pictures look nothing like the property , very small and dusty.
- 5/5
It good
- 3/5
The air handler in the closet was disturbingly loud and seemed like it would kick on just as I was dozing off, startling me awake. I was disappointed that the pool was closed for no apparent reason. Also, there was piece of rubber in the transition from the kitchenette's tile to the living area carpet which was a major tripping hazard since it was ripped up out of the transition.
- 5/5
Staff were very kind, courteous, and supportive during my stay! Shoutout to Asia! She's wonderful!
- 5/5
Location and staff was great. Need better shower heads
- 5/5
Awesome people working here! Clean, friendly staff, great suites with all needed items.
- 3/5
So the staff was very nice. But we walked in room (which had number on it ... we assumed), and it was super musty smelling. The closet light lit like a strobe, and the water pressure was barely there.
- 5/5
The room was really nice, and the breakfast was great. Tammy was super helpful and was very friendly as well.
- 4/5
The pool was closed with no explanation
- 5/5
Staff went above and beyond. We were disappointed that the pool was closed the whole time we were there since that was one of our reasons for choosing the hotel.the staff was very friendly and helped us tremendously since we were stranded there while our vehicle was being repaired. When we travel to Dallas this will be our go to hotel.
- 4/5
The staff were all very kind! Walkable to American Airlines stadium & safe area!
- 5/5
Very convenient to our needs (medical visit downtown).
- 1/5
Lots of bugs in the room. Not clean. Had to leave an hour after checking in.
- 4/5
The hotel was quiet. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The price was reasonable.
- 5/5
We chose the Hyatt House Dallas/Uptown because it advertised as walking distance to the American Airlines Center. It was PERFECT to be able to walk to the Center and back after a game. The room was quite large and the kitchenette came in handy. Breakfast was pretty good. Saturday's breakfast was GREAT with Tammy taking orders for customized waffles! We were bummed that the pool was closed, but all in all - a great hotel to stay at!
- 4/5
Clean, but old. I was disappointed that the maintenance was working around the pool, so we couldn’t swim for the 3 days we were there.
- 5/5
Nice location. Good stat
- 5/5
Chose to stay at Hyatt House due to its proximity to the AA Center…walking distance in a peaceful neighborhood! Staff greeted us joyfully when we arrived and looked up my Hyatt rewards account so that I could park in the garage for free! DoorDashed dumplings to our room late at night after the basketball game.
- 5/5
Staff and hotel were great, just disappointed pool was closed.
- 3/5
Bed was stiff and noisy from incomplete closing of window. sound gets in from holes exposed to outside
- 5/5
Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were quiet; we could not hear activity from other rooms. Tammy was the staff at breakfast and she was wonderful! So welcoming, helpful, and friendly; she made the start to our day bright and cheerful.
- 5/5
Loved the space and convenience of a kitchen in the room
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay. Loved we had a full kitchen set up and room was spacious
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance from the american airlines center. Good variety of breakfast everyday.
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was incredibly polite and friendly.
- 5/5
The desk staff and Tammy were fantastic. Very warm and welcoming and happy to help.
- 5/5
Very quick check in and rooms are very nice/spacious
- 4/5
The staff were excellent. I was disappointed the pool was closed with no real explanation. The carpets & window shades even were stained. I didn’t feel comfortable walking in the room bare-footed. The facilities need a good steam cleaning. I was surprised how close it was to the American Airlines Center. Several patrons were walking to a concert both nights we were there.
- 5/5
Tammy at breakfast was super nice and attentive. The front desk man was nice as well. The room wasn’t what I asked for and the carpet was pretty dirty. The A/C was struggling all night to reach temperature. Not the best Hyatt I have stayed at. No eggs at breakfast was a disappointment as well.
- 5/5
If you’re going to the American Airlines Center the Hyatt house uptown is perfect. A short walk with plenty of food and drink options along the way.
- 3/5
I dont feel like this property is up to Hyatt standards, but it was fine for a weekend stay. The only interaction we had with staff was check in which was fine and transactional, not super friendly. The pool was closed which was a huge bummer considering it was over 100 in Dallas. The AC in the room also took almost all night to drop, it was set at 75 when we arrived, didn't get under 70 until early the next morning. This hotel is super close to the American Airlines Event Center allowing us to walk to our concert. The room was clean enough, but felt dingy. This place is in need of a refresh, new carpet, new paint, and a good cleaning.
- 5/5
Comfy beds, good sized room, felt safe for a single female traveler. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly! But the rooms were a bit outdated. Overall it was good for 2 nights.
- 4/5
Good hotel, big room, nice breakfast and of course polite and helpful staff
- 2/5
I only stayed in this hotel because it is cheap and near to my office, but otherwise I would not stay here. It is very dated and needs a complete renovation, or knocked down so that something else can be built here. The room has a small kitchen which might be helpful for longer term guests. It would have been nice to use the pool but it was drained.
- 5/5
Every staff member I interacted with was very pleasant and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed. They treated us like a long time friend. On top of that the rooms were clean and the bed was so comfy. If I'm ever in Dallas I will definitely be staying there again.
- 5/5
The staff was exceptionally sweet and accommodating! Definitely staying here next time I go to Dallas
- 5/5
Very happy with my stay
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
.
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
I loved staying clean and friendly
- 5/5
Great property
- 1/5
The second issue was their breakfast was less than subpar. I stay at Hyatt houses all over the country. The food was cheap, and the quality was extremely low. Bacon with burnt and very very thin. No fresh fruit just yogurt, eggs bacon bread. House is typically a three star hotel this was a one and a half
- 2/5
I paid $60.00 to park my car and someone stole money from inside of car and the stuff in my trunk i called and report the issue the parking structure is secure I thought no cameras parked on third level four parking spaces from the entrance door into building was supposed to get a callback for management no apologies know how can we make it right nothing talked to 3 different people and nobody could help me just wanted my $60.00 dollars back the least that could’ve been done but nothing
- 4/5
The neighborhood immediately around the hotel is not very pretty, but it is conveniently located.
