Very horrible- nothing good to say

The safety and location There is no room service even if you stay for 2 months or 6 months. U have to sleep and stay without cleaning the room and bathroom even after you say at the front desk no one shows up, which is very weird that the cleaning staff never shows up until u checkout and if you extend your stay they will just vanish.

I arrived around 11pm, and there were at least 4-5 suites with trash bags outside the door. When I opened my suite door, there was a cockroach on the counter. The bed at some faint stains. I just couldn’t stay on the property after seeing this.

The fact that it said "no smoking facility" yet every hallway smelled like weed. And we asked for a change of room.

We needed a Kitchenette. The low price seemed too good to be true. There are renovations going on but that did not affect us. It was worth every dollar.

The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating! There was construction going on in the building and there was an unpleasant smell which I’m assuming could be because of the paint/construction.

This hotel has roaches, the elevator stop working at one point, the microwave in the room was broken and hotel is under construction which is very inconvenient!

I stayed for 3 nights. There were no room services at all. No door sign for requesting room service. Body wash bottle was empty, I talked to front desk about it, but it was was not refilled at all, I had to use shampoo, instead. No hand soap at the sink in the bathroom for use after toileting. I also had to use shampoo, intsead.

The staff was great as well as the room, I only complain about an awful smell of old urine in one of the staircases and the others smelling off as well. This location could use some TLC but it seemed like they were renovating as we were leaving so they’re on top of it! Enjoyed our stay overall!

Highly would not recommend. Didn’t know if I was checking in or looking for the local plug. On arrival people were running after each other that were stealing each other money . Booked a room with a queen and pull out couch for my family and on arrival they check me into a single queen and tell me “ sorry Expedia changed it which is absolute rubbish . This place should be demolished with the staff for everyone’s benefit. Checked out immediately. The hotel is absolutely disgusting I mean my shoes underneath were cleaner. Wouldn’t even had stayed if it was free. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR RISK YOUR HEALTH!!!!

Room and hallway had a strong smell of pet urine. Room did not appear as it did in the pictures. The room was very dark had broken tiles in the bathroom and had tape on various things in the living room. The man at the front desk was very rude and had an attitude when helping guest. Overall I would never stay here again nor recommend it.

No breakfast, No hot water for my first week. Second week, water was off for a full day. Due to extreme weather I had to move Closer to job because roads were iced over. I informed Booking.com and Sonesta. I requested refund, which I never received. Neither Sonesta or Booking.com felt I should be reimbursed for 3 weeks in another facility. Will never use either again. Won't recommend to anyone. Poor responses to request. Never received Housekeeping for first 2 weeks, no breakfast.

This is a run down, old, dirty motel. There's stains on the dirty carpet. Cigarette smoke everywhere in the building, other guests arguing in the parking lot. I checked out after the first night. Awful.

You get what you pay for but these rooms include a full kitchen . Suites & bathrooms are clean. 7/10. I always enjoy my stay and get the most use out of it for sure. I wish they would fix the grill on the property or provide more kitchen utensils but other than that, my stay is always enjoyable.

The staff tried to help as best they could Front Office manager Jason and Courtney All and the issue was not and still has not been resolved. I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Sonesta Simply Suites Dallas Galleria in Dallas. The hotel looks nothing like the photos advertised online. From the parking lot to the lobby, hallways, and even the rooms, the property is in very poor condition and gives more of a rundown motel feel than a hotel. I have never stayed anywhere that looked like this, and unfortunately I am booked here for four nights and paid in full. To make matters worse, guests are being charged for parking in a lot that does not even appear safe or well maintained. Another major issue is the smell throughout the hotel. The entire building smells strongly of smoke even though it is supposed to be a non-smoking property. It makes the environment very uncomfortable. There is also breakfast offered, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel makes it unappealing to eat anything there. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and feel the property is very misleading compared to what is advertised. I would like to request a refund so that I can book accommodations somewhere else. This stay has been completely disappointing. The only pro was the staff I encounter Jason Locust the front desk manager and Courtney( i think that was her name). There has been no follow from the hotel to Booking.com as of yet and I called to follow up in my concern today 3.10.26 @1130a.m. They have been trying to reach the hotel by phone and management email and have got no answer or response. This hotel was very disappointing.

Customer service ill equipped in Training. Halls smelled like mildew. Elevator old, dirty, ragged, & cramped. Flat scary! Room needs deep cleaning like the remote & phone filthy and sticky. Remote missing its back. You can tell the under skirt below the bed mattress was dated and nasty. Pillows flat & old. No extra pillows or blanket available & wasn't sure if any towels available .

Even on a semi busy holiday (valentines), I couldn’t get early check in. They said there a franchise not corporate. The gm said she can do what she wants. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Once i made it to the room the smell in the room smelled worse than the hall, cigarette smoke. Plus the room was not clean at all, bugs, eyelash random hairs in the bed. The split A/C unit was not attached properly- the ceiling in the living room looked as it was going to gall through, brown, spackles falling off, the toilet leaked. NOT CLEAN I called to the FD and asked if a staff could come check the room- FD solution was to switch rooms. I asked to see the room first, room 2 looked and smelled clean, i didn't see any signs of bugs, pests. looked barely used. that was the room i stayed in. NOTE: the hotels keycards would deactivate daily & randomly- one staff said it was a daily issue, they are ready to reprogram card. VERY LOUD construction (roof repairs 2-3 days all day) When I asked the FD about the construction i was told there was a note on my door, there was a note from boiler repairs weeks prior. no notice when booking or prior to the 730AM og= During my stay I found out that Sonesta is a franchise now, and the hotels are operated by owners, not corporatio

I've stayed in some sketchy hotels before, but I think this takes the top spot. Active leaks from ceilings in the hallways, lingering smell of mildew, rampant drug use on the premises. I will say the two ladies at the front desk were very sweet. When I told them I couldn't stay there, they were very understanding and refunded my payment without any resistance. Lesson learned.

Room had a funny smell the microwave dint work first room they gave me the heater dint work they had to provide me with another room. Roaches in the kitchen in the bathroom the sofa bed we had to clean it because it was dirty. However the staff was awesome.

Check-in staff was very friendly. The facilities were a bit outdated, but the room had a medium-sized refrigerator with a freezer, which was great for storing frozen food. Although breakfast was not provided, it was a very satisfying experience overall considering the affordable price and convenience.

Do not book. My child was bitten by a spider and when trying to make contact with front desk staff they were not available. The lobby had an overly friendly man who was making uncomfortable comments so I decided to leave and call front desk to no avail. They are stating I should have waited an unknown time until a person from front desk was available.

The stay was cool, we killed two xxxl crickets, in our room the third on got away. The air conditioning was kinda crappy cuz the wall one was broke. The staff was cool except the Manager lady that assumed i was going to smoke outside when i was just checking out holding my stuff in my mouth so it wouldn’t break. And she gone keep my deposit. Idk what monica problem was Sunday morning but she irritated tf outta me.

Just a stay vacation. The room cleanness was very pleasant. There are plenty shopping stores around, even Galleria Mall is lie 5 minutes from the hotel. That's a plus!

My Stay at Sonesta was really quite comfortable. Upon arrival the front desk person was very kind, friendly, and sweet. Our bed was cozy, the room had a kitchen. Bathroom was super neat and clean. Overall our stay was amazing. My fiance and i really enjoyed our stay and will be booking there again.

The stay and the staff are very friendly, there are only two things I want to highlight for future improvements, please wash the toilet well because they smell a little bit of urine and the room smelled a little of cigarettes.

Environment felt unsafe. People in cars just sitting in the parking lot. Floors were shaky and loud. Toilet was not clean. Shower ceiling patchy and dirty. Extra shower head and towel left in thd restroom. Hold was placed on my card as to be expected but the amount was not quoted and I had to ask the amount after card was charged. Power went out... smh. I stayed in a Sonesta elsewhere and was impressed. Those location did not impress. Mind you there was a shortage of room keys.

This hotel offers service and facilities on par with a Motel 6. Staffing is minimal, the furniture and amenities are old and badly outdated, and the rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke and are dusty. Overall, it is overrated and overpriced — I do not recommend it at all.

Room was very clean and neat. Staff was extremely friendly. When I arrived I informed the front desk that my room smelled like smoke. She offered to move me to a different room and apologized for the inconvenience. I chose not to move rooms and my account was notated. I followed up with the morning staff to make sure the note was there and it was. The manager was going to have housekeeping got to the room to freshen it up. But I said it wasn’t that bad and I could handle it. I will be staying here again.

The housekeepers were rude, even with do not disturb on the door. They seem to come for things that were not requested even after asking for do not disturb letting them know Working from inside of my hotel room mysteriously the fire alarm went off twice after my complaint. Jay was the most polite and professional as well as Chris at the front desk. Everyone else were too busy on the phone or talking to each other to pay attention to the guest and their overall need.

I've stayed in this hotel before. I had a last minute extra night in Dallas and got a great rate. Check in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable as always.

Upon arrival I it took forever to get someone to the front desk. Our rooms looked nothing like the pictures.

Room was very noisy, air conditioning unit was squealing and the mini fridge was loud. Usually I don’t hear those things but overall it was noisy, the bed was super uncomfortable and hard.

Staff at front desk were excellent. They were all very attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable.

I suggest you have your cleaning staff do a better job at vacumming and assuring floors are clean. The sofa bed has to be thrown away. I should have take. Pics of the condition but didnt.

First of all they refused room service when I requested it and informed me that it did not come with the stay. Toilet stayed plugged the whole while of my stay which made for an unsanitary and disgusting stay. The front desk people were rude and would not accept the same card I used to book and pay for the room on Expedia. This was embarrassing because they humiliated me in front of another guest. I am demanding a full or I will contact my Attorney regarding this matter!

This property is a disaster! Upon arrival, my daughter and I were greeted with the heavy smell of marijuana throughout the first floor. We we got to your room, some of the electric was out and we had to call maintenance, as we had to lights. The room was very misleading from the pics they show on line. It is extremely small, tho they advertise it as a suite. The bathroom was very unsafe. It had just a stall shower (with no mat) and a curtain. The shower water would run all out onto the floor, soaking the floor. Very limited towels. When I went to desk asking for a fresh set, it was as though I was bothering them. Underneath the sink was so corroded, it looked like the sink was going to fall off the wall. When I went to use the toaster to toast a bagel, it did not work at all, so I had to go hunt down housekeeping to provide one that did work. I've stayed at other Sonestas and never had a bad experience. This one is pathetic. Stay away!

Upon entering there was a smothering smell in the lobby. My stay wasn’t terrible but wasn’t pleasant. The staff member was cold and unwelcoming. There was a dinging all night long in my room. Not too loud to disrupt slept but I heard it until I fell asleep and when I woke up. The room could have been cleaner. There was debris in the bathroom sink and on the floor. The curtains were torn. The tub had a slow drain so the shower water filled the tub. Won’t stay again.

Second time staying here. First time was great but this time. Water didn't get hot and no shower gel. I didn't not complain about the shower gel because I had a bar of soap. There's no complaining about water. One pot in the kitchen. I thought I could cook something but no.
