Me and my wife arrived there late, and the man at the counter had us waiting in the cold for over 20 minutes , and I also asked if I can switch dates because I got the wrong ones he said yes and I can get refund for that night and they ended up charging me 2 nights! Me and my wife were very disappointed.

Didnt like how the person came banging on the door exactly at 11 (checkout) saying it was time to leave.

I didnt like anything. The owners were very rude about my service dog. The bed was very uncomfortable there was banging as well as stomping above me in and out all night.

The parking was super small but so is the motel itself only like 20 rooms maximum 30. The soap was motel 6 soap. The shampoo and conditioner were average but super small. The bed had a stain which we realized were burn stains due to the blue top layer being plastic or synthetic. Ours was a two bedroom with a door separating them but our friends for the same price had two beds in a longer room. The bathroom we had didn’t have a mirror. Ours was in the hall. But overall for the price and it being a motel it was pleasant. Would stay there again if I have to go to cow palace.

A/C was great, room was clean, I would have liked more shelves or a closet to put things in. Over all, it was a good place.

If you're into those cheesy take your side chick for a one nighter.

This is a VERY unique motel, probably built in the 40s. I can think of three reasons why you might want to stay here. 1) You are attending an event at the Cow Palace. It's a 10-15 minute walk; very convenient. This is why we were there. 2) You have a very early flight out of SFO and just need a place to sleep the night before. 3) You arrive very late at SFO, and have a long drive to your final destination. The room itself was clean, and it was very basic. There was a desk and chair, the bed, a night stand, a TV on the wall, a refrigerator and a microwave. I joked with my daughter that the "closet" was a stick-on hook on the back of the door. You have to live out of your suitcase. It appears there is construction going on in other rooms, because most of the covered parking stalls had stuff in them. You drive through an archway to the parking lot. I'd read reviews that parking was a problem, but we were able to get a space because we arrived early and didn't move the car. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The vanity was tiny, no room really to put anything bigger than a toothbrush. The soap appeared to be from Motel 6, and the conditioning shampoo came in a foil packet. There wasn't a screen on the window. The room was quite warm, so we had to run the A/C all night. The benefit was that it drowned out any traffic there might've been from the street. It would have been great if there had been a coffee maker.

The room was clean, a bit small but not a problem for one night stay. Staff was friendly. Close by there were a few stores to pick up snacks or grab a quick bite.

No parking available, no ice machines, no coffee machine, no vending machine, no WiFi access offered. Too noisy as the person in the room next to me had his television on all night the 2 nights I was there trying to sleep.

Never got to stay here. My prepaid card was good enough for the non-refundable booking, but not the deposit. Lucky for me, the manager allowed me a refund.

10 minute or less walk from cow palace. This will definitely be my go to when I go to an event at the cow palace!

It is ancient; the first room they gave me smelled so awful like there was poop everywhere or terrible mold; the guy at the desk was friendly and changed my room immediately, a way better room, still stuffy, and to my surprise, the bed which seemed soft and wrong for the back was great and had a great sleep

I was at first very apprehensive about this hotel. The reviews from 23 years ago were horrible. However, the newer reviews seemed to be OK. I was a single traveler, and being a woman I needed to have security. The place was actually really cute needed a few upgrades on the outside, but the inside I was a little shocked to find what could be blood stain on the bedspread. Not to mention stained towels. It’s the little things like that that make a difference. however, the hotel was a budget type of lodging and for me at this time safety was not an issue.

The two stars are because we got the family room that had three beds. That was convenient.

The gentleman running the motel was brusque, unfriendly and not very accommodating. The room was good, very comfortable bed, and good bathroom. The housekeeper was frienly and helpful

Dont waste your time, on both sides are cleaner, nice accomidating rooms. For the price here?.... one chair, no tables , no lamps , no screen on the window which ANYONE can get in. No cups. Showers luke warm, fridgerator barely cold. Big gap, (air draft under front door).

It is a place that is good for families or just for chilling or just to get away from it all and away from all the problems that goes on in the city and not far from gas stations and stores.

Nothing special about this property. No place to hang your clothes which is ridiculous

Got in on a red-eye flight at 2.15am. The area is remote and the place looks sketchy, but check in took 3 minutes, room was ready, smelled and looked clean, had all I needed for a quick sleep before a back to back day with meetings in SF. 20 min away from South Beach Area.

This is the establishment is the filthiest And out of date facility I have ever experienced. The room I was given to sleep in was filled with mold. The fridge had hair particles bottom back corner. As if it wasn’t cleaned. Underneath the mini fridge was dirty. The Restroom had no heating system which is discouraging to shower nor bathe. I had to turn the old heating system that’s next to the bed full blast hot so that the air will circulate towards the bathroom to could shower in warmth. The curtains was discolored and the chair under the table was torn seating and very very dirty. When I was showering at 12:30 midnight a staff knocked on my door telling me to move my car because it was blocking his space to park his own personal car.There’s no telephone in this room for outside or incoming calls which is very uncomfortable to have had a staff knock on my door while I was showering at this time a day. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Clearly no care nor respect for paying customers. This place should be shut down.

This property was disgusting. Room was nasty, had to shower in my flip flops. Smell was the worst. Bathroom was disgusting, Toilet had dried urine on the toilet , toilet seat and the floor. I cleaned the floors, the towels were black. There was sticky residue on the night stand and the desk. The duvet was soiled, as was blanket. Sheets were soiled. I purchased sheets , lysol spray , bed bug spray. There was not s room available in the city or i would not have stayed one minute, WORST travel experience of my life.

This was the worst place I stayed in ever! Remote control for tv was missing. Sheets seemed dirty! Bathroom was dirty tub was dirty literally ! Worst stay !!

I was overcharged for the room I booked. Floors were dirty and the microwave didn’t work. When I booked the room, I was expecting a clean room and working amenities.

Lots of mould in the bathroom. Dirty floors. The owner did yelling all afternoon to his housekeeper. Between the rooms a lot of garbage in some parking spots.

To be quite honest, I stayed the night, but couldn't sleep there. I didn't feel safe. The room quality made me paranoid about pests. The shower had mildew, the washcloth was stained, and the water smelled funny. I checked out as soon as the sun started to rise.

Price was the cheapest around. Room was clean but very minimal, not even a table to put stuff on, just a plastic chair. There are also no vending / ice machines or any other amenity. You pay for a bed which was just fine and also sat TV.

When I advised the office the next morning, the guy behind the safety glass could not bother himself to get off of the phone. They would not refund for that night because I did not check out five mins. after checking in (hotel policy). I can't wait to see what the county of San Mateo health has to say about it....photos and all!!

Got in late hungry, couldnt find any restaurants near by.

With no indication that I am or am no a smoking, I was told three times ‘No Smoking in this room”, each time looking me dead in my eye as though trying to convey this message via ESP just in case I didn’t understand English. Needless to say, I didn’t smoke in the room.

My mother had a stroke and is partially paralyzed on one side. She can walk but with assistance. Upon arriving the couple managing the property wanted to deny us to stay because my mother was handicapped. I had to talk to the owner, who was not any better, in order for them to give us the room. Which btw was fully paid for through hotel.com. The owner came later on that night waiting for anything he can say we were doing wrong. It was very stressful. It was insulting and I dont recommend this place.

Bathroom had black mildew and gum on the headboard and there were two roaches in the room not worth 105.00 that we paid

Walls are paper thin and the neighboring room never turned off their TV so that continually kept me awake and pour sleep lengths. Did have Direct TV but was problematic. Cleaning staff was slacking on the towels and floor mat with no wash cloths at all. Best part of this hotel was the club right around the corner had amazing food. 7 Mile Bar

WiFi sucks in the middle of the tech capital of the planet.

Been here twice now. Won’t be back. It’s hard to imagine the WiFi service would be so bad it 2019 in the tech epicenter of the universe but it is. Just because it’s working it the office doesn’t mean it’s working in my room. This is twice now. There won’t be a third time.

Thankfully I had large plastic bags in my car, I cut 2 and put them on top of the nasty bedspread, then my own blanket and pillow on top, slept in my clothes including my boots. It was very scary and I didn’t feel safe at all and didn’t get any sleep. Very busy street, loud noise all night long and. I do not recommend this motel for one minute

Upon arriving the attendant was more involved in matters other than checking in guest. Very curt, and disenthused. Floor in bathroom obviously had not been mopped, ciggert burns on comforter-along with stains-, missing light fixture with hanging wires, residue of bar soap on bathroom sink, and pics on site are not accurate. Very clear this property frequents those of the night trade.

Loved the flowers out front, freshly painted room. Close to 7 Mile House which we loved. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The motel room key/card is blank on both sides, so don’t set it on top of the fridge. I truly cannot think of any complaints that I have about the motel. I would stay here again. I felt safe. I had free parking. I had parking that made me feel like my car was safe. Other motel guests were polite. The motel isn’t seedy. The neighborhood is calm. It’s not loud. It’s away from the bustle of the city but close enough for a $15 Uber or a 15 minute drive in. I definitely would stay here again and I felt fortunate to have found this place.

It was the worst place I have ever stayed at no furniture besides the bed full size was supposed to be a queen size a desk and chair. Noise outside all night all morning not one hour of Peace and quiet to have a good night rest!!!

Hotel room was not completely clean particularly the bathroom. There were hairs on the floor and in the bath. We cleaned the bathroom ourselves before using it.

Booked this place cause it's closer to San Francisco State University And better pricing. It was a nice hidden Motel. The Only thing I Didn't like was the Parking situation. This place is the definition of a flea bag motel. The black mold in the bathroom was disgusting. Will never book a room here or through Hotels.com again!

There was a great Honduran place around the corner for food, but the cleanliness factor in my room was so-so. Holes, stains, and dents in walls, the sort of flooring you don't want to be barefoot on, but the sheets were clean and pillows and bed were fine. Considering the price it's about what I'd expect.

Asked reciept so I could turn it to VA. She told me I could print myself. Well I forgot to pack my portable printer on the plane. I am blind in one and needed help.very unfriendly to me. Jeannette

Very bad experience! Knocking your door early in the morning ask for my id! Asking how many people. In 3 night no change the bedsheets and towel.

there was an issue that management rectified to my satisfaction. The facility was remodeled fairly recently even though the structure had some age. I like the hardwood floors, more sensible than the usual carpet found in other motels.

They did not service my stay enough I ran out of tissue an one night the did not bring back clean towels

I have stayed here a few times and the lack of bed stands, tables or just a place next to bed to put a beverage or anything. Never stayed in room with not table or bed stand next to bed. Room has bed, TV, chair, small frig and mw. Even a TV tray next to bed would work.

The property have open gate to the street and bullet proof window to the Hotel Office, so don't plan to arrive late at night. They could secure the stairs to the rooms with a gate, opened with the magnet card.

Probably, SF makes everything expensive. In this facility, room is small, hairs were on my bed；everything is simple and crude. However, the staff told me I got this room with a good deal with price ~$250 per night. It is a surprise to me anyway.

The price was right. I wanted someplace to stay near San Francisco International Airport prior to an early morning flight. Everything worked according to plan. The people at check-in and check-out were efficient and courteous.

It was okay just to sleep in and go but not to hang out at all, and when we went to put some sodas and energy drinks into the mini fridge there was still modelos in there from previous guests so it was very odd
