The sistema was down when we got there and had to wait a long time to check in and there were no rooms available they were very nice to send us to the other hotel across the street and said they would cover the night charge. Still waiting for the refund.

I've seen some Google reviews about poor shuttle service. I'd just like to say that I called the hotel when I got to the airport pickup point. The van was there 5 minutes later. I was at the hotel 15 minutes after I got outside. I don't know what more people could expect. Room was clean, quiet, and breakfast was a nice touch.

Also, it took 7 CALLS with the phone ringing 20 times each call before the operator picked up to request a shuttle pick up. Then the shuttle was an hour before they showed up.

DISQUSTING. Waited 2 1/2 hours for our room because the system was down. When we finally got taken to "a room" on the 3rd floor, it was nasty. The carpet hada not been vacuumed or cleaned in the hallway, the room smelled of Curry and there was a used Q TIp in the floor of the room, hairs in the tub and we were told it was all that was available. ABSOLUTELY not a HILTON quality property. We had no other options, we flew in for a cruise the next morning. It was after 1 am before we got into the room. We slept IN OUR clothes with HHODIES on so we wouldnt touch the sheets or covers or anything> STAY AWAY.

We booked a handicapped accessible room because that is what was left for a family of 7. Although I knew that the bathroom would be handicapped accessible, I didn’t think that most of the bathroom floor would be flooded after each shower. My daughter fell on the floor and bruised her knees. After I told the staff and advised that it was a liability issue, they shrugged their shoulders and said that it happens with accesible showers. I think that the accessible showers could have been designed differently to still allow mobility access but have the water directed towards the drain instead of traveling all across the floor. At the very least, they should provide extra towels at the outset or a squeegee for guests to direct the water back to the shower drain. I am not happy how they handled the situation. My daughter woke up in the middle of the night crying because her knees were hurting.

At first glance the rooms were clean, but when you really look yog can see the bathrooms definitely need an upgrade, it’s very easy to see it’s an older hotel. The complimentary breakfast was not good at all. If you have a gluten allergy don’t even bother going down because there is nothing there for you. Very limited selection and what hot items were there were not good.

The pull out couch was uncomfortable and didn’t have enough pillows or bedding for our two young teens. The phone in our room didn’t work so I went down to front desk and was told all bedding was in closet. There was only one pillow, a set of sheets and a thin blanket, no comforter. I had to go to front desk a second time to order more for the room.

The room was poorly maintained -- lots of things needed repair. Generally just minor repairs were needed but it was on multiple things (chairs, towel holders, dirty cushions, etc.) Probably the biggest reason for such a low rating is that it also SMELLED horrible .... very mildewy mixed with cleaner smell. Half our outlets didn't work (they were fixed quickly though after brought to their attention). Staff were not particularly friendly but efficient.

There were 9 of us staying before we headed on a cruise. We arrived at the hotel and check in was smooth. I asked for cot for our room and was told housekeeping was closed. I asked for a cot prior to our arrival and was told I had to wait until we arrived. There was no hot water in the shower either night we stayed.

This hotel stay did not meet our expectations. The cleanliness and condition of the rooms and lack of responsiveness of the staff definitely made our stay less than satisfactory. From check in, they could only offer us 3 room keys, even though there were 4 adults staying in the room. When asked if the lobby provided coffee or tea for the evening, we were told no, that those items are provided in the room. On the way to the room we noticed the carpet in the hallways was extremely dirty and in need of replacement. We were also given no instructions as to where our room was located and it was very far away from the front desk and around several hallway turns - a long walk with all of our luggage and no direction. Once in the room we noticed the kitchen cabinets were covered in grime and the couch was soiled. Our child needed to take a foot bath upon arrival and upon turning on the faucet in one of the showers, we quickly found that the lever that turns the spout from bath pour to shower spray was permanently stuck (welded in place from hard water or grime) in the shower position, which showered our child who still had clothing on. Also, there were only 2 disposable cups, one coffee packet, and 2 teas in the room which was not sufficient for 4 adults. We replied to the text sent by the hotel asking if we needed anything after check in and asked for coffee since we had a 4am flight and would be needing it. The staff told us twice someone would come but we never received it.

Had a great location, shuttle service to the airport and breakfast included in the hotel cost. Staff or not friendly, however did their job almost robotic. They did not give out an extra bottle of water, even though there was three people in our party and only gave us two bottles of water. The pullout sofa couch is terrible and needs to be replaced with a new mattress.

Stayed here one night between flights. Fast, efficient check-in, friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. WiFi also worked well, but I was a bit irked that I had to sign up for Hilton Rewards to connect to WiFi. Flatscreen television in the room with some local channels and Netflix connection capabilities. Close to the airport (about an 8 minute drive) and close to the tri rail to connect to Miami (a short walk away). High quality full size toiletries in the washroom (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body wash) from Crabtree and Evelyn. Wendy’s on site, but otherwise you have to cross the street for restaurants. Cannot comment on these, as I arrived late and left early. Excellent breakfast, which runs 6:30am-9:30am. The breakfast exceeded my expectations with plentiful options like scrambled eggs, egg white bites, sausages, grits, waffles, bagels and breads, whole apples, yogurt, cold cereals, hot oatmeal with toppings, coffee, tea, fresh water, juices, a wide selection of butters, jams and spreads. Overall a great stay! Consistent for a Hilton chain and would stay again, however for a longer stay, I would opt for a cheaper hotel. I paid about $180 Canadian for one night here, which was far too much. For a longer stay, I would choose an Airbnb or a more budget hotel nearby, if possible.

We requested a roll away bed prior to our stay. When we arrive the front desk clerk said none were available, we attempted to explain it had been a prior request. He was rude and his suggestion was get a refund and go somewhere else. Not having the request is not the issues, the clerk is our issue. No apologies, no solution, nothing just attitude and total lack of concern or even a sliver of customer service. Raising your voice at customers is something I have very little experience with as I am a very reasonable person and do not tend to raise my voice or act rudely. The only other issue is no blankets or extra pillows in the room and the clerk was put out to ask housekeeping to bring those to our room. In the positive - clean room, nice grounds, and excellent shuttle driver/ service.

Waited for the shuttle for 40 mins after calling the hotel until it showed up almost full so we had to wait another 20+ mins for a 2nd shuttle then when we finally got to the hotel an hour after check in our room I picked the day before was not ready so we had to go on the top floor Instead of the 1st. Then the shower handle was ready to fall of the wall and the shower leaked all night, so unless you like the sound of Drip drip drip all night. Breakfast was ok but so many people in such a small serving space made it annoying

We did get our room much quicker than others HOWEVER the room smelled awful as if someone had poured perfume or really floral smelling cleaner all over the floor. It was so strong that it was difficult to breathe in the room, in addition there was a bunch of hair left in the bath tub. I had to go outside, as I couldn’t breathe well in the room, unfortunately the pool was also unclean and the mini putt area that was set up had broken clubs, a staff member did help my daughter to fix one up at least. While outside my mother in law requested a new room, this was denied, someone did come to clean the tub, and she was told the smell was from the air conditioner. I went to complain again, stating that the room smelled nothing like the rest of the hotel and that it was ‘god awful and impossible to breathe’, after much arguing the manager said she could refund me and I could find a hotel elsewhere, which is what I did. I am still waiting on the refund, however this only happened yesterday. In summary - don’t stay there!!

I know that check in is at 3pm but we got there at 9am and there were no accommodations for what to do while we wait. Once we got into the room, it was not the cleanest it could have been. There were crumbs on the floor, the sofa was missing the back cushions and was dirty. It really smelled heavily of Frebreze! I wasn't sure the table was cleaned. There wasn't any soap in the kitchen area. It just wasn't a pleasant experience overall.

Upon entry, the room smelled musty. The TV can only be viewed from the office chair if you turn that chair around - it cannot be viewed from either the couch or the bed, the ceiling fan blades were FILTHY. There is no restaurant on site or within walking distance.

Secondly, the sheets for the bed was not changed prior to us being placed in the room. When I was about to go to bed I noticed little hairs and some sort of either old blood or old feces on the sheets n blankets ( enclosed are video and photos). I called the front desk about my complaint of needing my bed changed i was given bottom sheet blanket and top sheet. I asked the you g man if he was going to make the bed he replied there are no housekeeping after 7pm . I then went to the front desk for 4 pillow cases this is now after 9pm. I received the pillow cases in which I put on the pillows myself. As a valued customer of Hilton this is unacceptable especially for the linens that was never changed. I traveled with a 1 year old, 4 year old, my husband, and myself and was not able to shower before leaving for the airport due to feeling disgusted

I love the airport shuttle it was so convenient and there are 2 gas stations right next to the hotel. Wonderful accommodations, and super helpful staff. When I had an issue they fixed it right away. They also held my luggage for my while I waited for check in.

We had two 2-bedroom rooms to accommodate our large group before our Disney cruise. Everyone at the front desk were extremely helpful. We arrived in three different groups and all of us had delays at the airport due to thunderstorms. We decided last minute to use their shuttle to the port (instead of shuttling ourselves with the one vehicle we had) and didn’t have any issues getting to the port. Would absolutely book this location again.

The Expedia description said there was a bar and restaurant. There wasnt. We were put in the 1st room, and the bathroom hadnt been cleaned from the prior guests. There were used tissue on the sink counter and used towels on the floor. Were were given a second room. While sitting on the questionable couch we started to notice small ants were crawling all over it. The carpets in the room were visibly dirty, the " couch" was not clean. The volume on the TV would not work. We came across some "sketchy" people in the hallway carrying large amounts of Alcohol and smelled of recently smoked Marijuana. When leaving in the morning we came across a pool of vomit in the hallway, which is why the carpets were probably visibly soiled. The airport shuttle was an adventure of going 80 miles an hour down a road that was not the interstate. Hitting railroad tracks at that speed our butts actually left the seat. Staff actually tried to be helpful. 10/10 would NOT recommend this place.

Check-in clerk was sweet, and helpful and provided us with an early check-in after a long trip, the room was also spacious. We also appreciated the shuttle service to the airport... however our room smelt terrible, we weren't able to get a new room and it wasn't very clean. They did provide us with some Febreze and glade plug-ins which did help a bit. The breakfast was just "OK" and the shuttle driver didn't seem happy with his tip and made it kinda awkward by standing over us waiting for more money after drop off.

Planned to stay for a concert in the area and upon check was informed of a planned power outage the next day from 10am and the out from 1-6 hours. The room also smelled, but he hallway had a different smell similar so we decide to cancel. The Supervisor on duty gave the okay the cancel if Hotels.com could verify over the phone but the phones were out because there was a storm. So we chose to leave since we were told we would get refunded. The next day I was emailed that no refund would be given and that it was a non refundable booking. The convenience of this location was amazing for both long term parking as well as getting to and from the airport. The room and hallway to the 3rd floor had an animal smell to it. None of the other floors had this smell. The room and stay other than that was great!

Transport was awful. Do not recommend. Found a dirty blanket in my couch set up. Called to have it replaced. Waited an hour and a half it never came. Went down to the counter. No one was there. Waited for a while kept calling front desk. Someone finally came over. Said they would send someone. Waited another 20 plus minutes. No one came down. Went back to the desk the front desk staff had to go retrieve a blanket for me. I just wanted to go to bed. It was very frustrating. Hallway carpets are disgusting. Pool was small.

No complaint but a suggestion regarding the breakfast buffet. Every morning the waffle line is super long… Maybe try either adding another waffle machine (and waffle flavor) or adding pancakes/ french toast to the buffet line.

Ordered a roll away bed when made reservation and again when we arrived. We could not call down to front desk since the boy did not answer so we had to go down and request the roll away 4 times, finally we asked if we could get bedding for the pull out couch and for the floor since it was 2am. He finally brought the blankets up pounded on the door and threw them in the door and ran down the hall. When telling the front desk she said that he had a busy night and she couldn’t help us because we booked through Expedia. Excuses all around. Probably won’t hear from the manager either.

The rooms are very nice. Staff needs some better training on how to help guests. We arrived from our cruise around 10:00 am. I understand check in is at 3:00, however why did many other guests get checked in throughout the day. I sat and watched them check in many guests who arrived after us. I asked Felipe and he said it all depends on the type of room we have. Housekeeping has a schedule? A young lady with glasses was no help either. I explained other hotels will try to accommodate guests. They didn’t seem to care. I didn’t feel valued and will not stay at another Homewood suites!!

Anyway we get there, our shuttle shows up and he is full, he tells us there is another shuttle in 10 minutes, we sat there for 45 minutes till the same guy came back. Considering it’s an 8 minute drive, if I we were confident we could find where the taxi stands were we would have just grabbed one. So this “Driver” not happy that I mentioned that was a long 10 minutes, drove like a mad man and through our luggage out at the sister hotel across the road from the hotel, we assumed that was our hotel, so we got out and ended up walking to our hotel with our luggage. The hotel was nice, front desk girl was very nice, our room really needed maintenance, towel hook hanging off, shower head broken. But still fine.

Not the best place even for 1 night. Location was convenient for airport but cleaning was very suspicious with tons of stains in the carpet and mold in the bathroom area. I will definitely try a different option as I was traveling with my family and definitely it was so dirty that I triggered asthma for my kids.

I was staying here just to make it easy for all of us int the party to be together. I would think that a Hilton branded place would be better kept up to date. The furniture throughout is aged and some in disrepair. The overall comfort of the room I bought in was lackluster. Damaged furniture, a tv cable box that i had to fix to get working, and a shower that really was not that clean were just the beginnings.

Purchase 2 room with a single transanction thus given a single booking confirmation for 2 rooms but homewood disnt acknowledge it saying one reservation number per room although my bill stated for 2 sets of couple

Toilet tank was empty and we could not flush the toilet. Thermostat for A/C not working and was stuck on 75 degrees and could not be cooler. Also air handler was very noisy. Made reservation on Expedia and prepaid but staff said they did not receive full payment. Argued for over an hour within resolution. The only positive was a nice breakfast buffet.

I do not recommend this property. The room was not ready until almost 6pm. Once I entered the room, the couch had crumbs from the previous customer. Housekeeping did not come once during the entire stay. I called for a non-feather pillow due to allergies, and it took over 4 hours to arrive. On the third day, I had to call housekeeping for towels due to them not coming to refresh the room, and I ended up having to call again after no one came for over 3 hours. Carpets need cleaning extremely badly. The lobby furniture is in terrible condition as well. The doors are also filthy.

We booked this hotel for a family of 6, we had to go to the front counter twice to get sheets and towels enough for 6. The room smelled musty. I will say it was clean. We also had to pay extra for parking! Ridiculous!

Also when I checked out I left my retainer in a clean white container on the bathroom sink. Unfortunatly I had just checked in onto the cruise ship and had to call the hotel (multiple times between my husdand and I)vs travel back to the hotel. When calling the staff were not personable and inconsiderate regarding the need to locate the retainer/container left on the bathroom sink. They claim the housekeeper did not find anything in the room. Also they were unwilling to connect me with a manager or even call me later if the container was located. I can not understand why someone would not tell the truth, if the container was accidentally thrown away that would be fine and mistakes happen as it would have allowed me to figure out next steps vs trying to get cleared to get off the boat quickly to pick the container up.

The living room was tiny. We had 2 adult males that slept in the living room and needed to use a portable bed. It has to block the door to the bedrooms which is where the bathroom was. A regular hotel room would’ve been better.

It is the only area hotel that could accommodate all of us. It Fit a family of 7 with no issues! Everyone was very nice. Shuttle driver from airport was AWESOME. Two essential restaurants in adjacent parking lot.

The only 6 lounge chairs were ripped. The other chairs were ripped as well. There were not towels available and housekeeping needed to be called 3x. The towels were thin and stained. The hotel room was in dis repair , example cupboard door was off hinges. Huge tear in leatherette desk chair. The entrance door was cement, unattractive and dirty. The shower door was rusty. The receptionist was unfriendly, and was unable to find reservation and was not helpful. I needed to call help line and waited one hour to solve reservation problem. Lobby only computer was not working. Expedia should not use this hotel and Homewood Suites should sell this property. My confidence in Homewood Suites, which I have used many time in the United States has been tarnished. I will no longer stay at a Homewood Suites. In fact, I would appreciate a refund that might change my future travel reservations. Please feel free to reach out to me for further information. And I'm interested to know if you received similar reviews. And Please remove this hotel from your listings.

Overall our stay was fine. I was disappointed that we had to wait over an hour for a pack and play I requested be in the room when we arrive. I also could not phone the desk but rather had to walk down.

Great place before a cruise. Only a Dunken Donuts and Wendy's in walking distance. One room was great, my second was ok. Service is incredible, free shuttle to airport and great organization to the crude port. They do a great job of dealing with the cruise crowd.
