Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, modernity, and convenience of the rooms, but expressing dissatisfaction with the virtual check-in process and lack of front desk staff. The location is generally praised for its proximity to UC Davis and local restaurants.
- Clean, modern, and convenient rooms
- Great location close to UC Davis and restaurants
- Virtual check-in process is impersonal and often difficult
- Lack of front desk staff for immediate assistance

Disappointing

I booked online from the pictures. It didn't look the bad but I was duped 1. You check in through a kiosk with a foreign agent. I kid you not there is no one at the front desk. I asked for a ground floor , and the robot gave it to me. What he didn't tell me was it was in an out building that I had to drive around other businesses to get to! 2. The building smelled like roach spray. The exterior parking is run down . 3. The shower was so small you had to jump out to turn around. I have had better showers in FEMA trailers in Afghanistan. The towels are 1 ply. There are two shower dispenser neither worked well. 4. The mini fridge worked but rattled all night. 5. The tenants next to were so noisy I was awoken dozens of times. 6. I paid nearly 1000.00 for three nights!
- 3/5
The room was clean, but the air conditioner was very loud. At check in there was a live person who was unenthusiastic, but competent. Check out was to a face on a monitor, which I hated. He kept telling me to put my key in a slot, yet it was NOT the slot labeled "room key". Maybe I'm being nitpicky, but talking to a monitor takes one star away right off the bat. Lastly, the breakfast was a joke. Yucky coffee, stale cereal, some bread to toast and some tiny pastries. I did grab a yogurt, but I rate breakfast a 1 out of 10. The price I paid for the room (which was hiked up for Davis graduation tremendously) I might stay there again in a pinch, but only at half the cost I paid this visit.
- 5/5
Location Clean and open
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
It had all that was expected. Maybe bananas, more variety of yogurt.
- 5/5
Its a tucked away little place that I love to stay.. the rooms are roomy and very clean, I'd definitely refer this hotel to others. Its hard to laugh or talk to loudly without disturbing others.
- 5/5
This motel was a nice new spot whose location was a little bit tricky to find at first. It was very modern and clean and set back a bit from the road. There was a nice pool and landscaped relaxation area out back, though we did not have time to take advantage of it. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast with coffee, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal and bread was available at 6 am. We were greeted remotely on a monitor at checkout time, and we dropped our key cards into a box. I understood that we would get 24 hour support by phone, but we did not need it. Recommended.

Poor
- 4/5
There was plenty of parking and locating my room was easy. The room itself was very large and clean, but the shower was very very small.

Good service when asked, clean, very nice pool area. Rooms are big and fairly quiet. All seems to be recenly redone. Grounds were nice. Could have more healthy options for breakfast.
- 5/5
Every thing
- 4.5/5
The room was very clean and very spacious, all for such an affordable price for the area! With a great location near food, the freeway for easy travel throughout the area, and stores nearby, I couldn't have had a more convenient place to stay! While the breakfast was advertised as a snack bar style area, it was still less than I expected, but still good options were available!
- 5/5
Good!
- 3/5
Nice spacious room and big windows. There was dried blood on the sheets and the floor is sunken in on some spots.
- 4.5/5
Very close to UCD VMTH where my dog is enrolled in a clinical study for cancer immunotherapy. No negative feedback. Quiet, very clean rooms. I’ve been staying here weekly since 3/9/26
- 0.5/5
Great location for soccer tournament Front staff wasn’t helpful at all, I asked questions and she went on without acknowledging me, poor breakfast.
- 4/5
Great beds, great bathroom
- 4/5
Good location. Large room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great place! Staff were helpful
- 4/5
A/C didn’t work properly but everything else about the stay was excellent.

Parking was excellent. Breakfast very skimpy

The breakfast is pretty basic, that you get enough to fill up yourself with oatmeal, toast, yogurt, apple, cereal, milk, coffee, and orange juice. The staff is very friendly and the easy to check in. Check out is also very easy, no one at the desk, but use a remote control computer. Overall my stay was very nice and pleasant.
- 2/5
The housecleaner was very pleasant. She held the door for me when I exited the building. The location. It was in an industrial type area that was not heavily populated. The parking. Our room was in building 3. The parking lot next to building 3 and the other lots next to the surrounding buildings were not well lit. The only location that had sufficient lighting was in the front next to the office. The separate buildings. It was set up like a motel. Our building was in the back and it didn't feel safe being so far from the office. The interior hall ways were dirty and dark
- 4/5
The room was clean and seemed refurbished with new furniture and floor. The check-in Kiosk was a bit of an issue because it has an AI bot and they chose an Indian person as the avatar. The issue was, it had an accent I could not understand at times, so check-in wa a little slow. I never could get on the internet. After getting the wi-fi chosen, I tried to log in with their password and it would just kick me out and back to the 'choose wi-fi" settings page. I tried a dozen times and just gave up and used my phone as a hot-spot. Otherwise the stay was fine and room fine. I did not have the breakfast because I left at 4am.
- 3/5
The place was average, slightly run down. Our room had some stains in the bathtub and bathroom sink faucet. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home back. Very basic, no fruit, no pastries or muffins, just toast. It runs from 6-9am. We got there at 8am and there was no juice or coffee left. We asked for more coffee and they took awhile to replenish. The gym/workout area is part of a fitness club that is behind the hotel with very limited hours. On the weekends they close at 5pm. The place was alright for a nights stay if you needed somewhere basic to stay to tie you over on your road trip.
- 4/5
Stayed in room 102 just for a night, while the property is renovated and well maintained the AC in the room was so loud that we could not sleep. Also the walls seem to be so thin we could hear movements which also disturbed our sleep.
- 5/5
It's actually 3 buildings connected by walkways. Clean. Free parking. Nice pool. The breakfast is basic (no waffles or eggs). No elevator to the 2nd floor, fyi. Walkable to a shopping center with supermarket and some restaurants including a Starbucks.
- 3/5
No elevator. Not handicap friendly. Missed wakeup call. Luckily, I set iPhone alarm. Breakfast was minimal. Thin walls, could hear neighbors. Street noise. Easy parking.
- 3/5
The property was clean and staff is nice. Our other room ppl were up all night talking very load. At night don’t leave your window open because there is so much noise. There was a couple fighting and no security to confront them. Then someone tried to trespass and a loud alarm came on say that they were trespassing on private property and that was very unpleasant. The breakfast is not good. Just cereal, toast, juice, milk, and small amount of fruit. For the amount you pay I thought it would be more.
- 5/5
Could use an upgrade to the Breakfast options. What was offered was subpar. All staff were wonderful and worked closely with us. The refrigerator in the room did not work fully and did not freeze. First day there, it defrosted and leaked all over. Had to have staff come take care of.
- 4/5
Don't get a room next to the stairs!
- 5/5
After reading some reviews I was iffy but all my worries went away once we got there. Check in was quick and easy. Receptionist warned us that there are no elevators which wasn’t a problem for us as it’s only 2 floors. Room was clean, and had shampoo, conditioner, and even lotion if needed which was nice to know just in case we forgot anything. We never made it to breakfast but breakfast is available. Parking was easy. It’s also located within walking distance to a dominos which was really convenient. We only stayed one night so we wanted a budget friendly opinion. After my experience, I’d definitely stay again.
- 4/5
E everything was great except the breakfast, which was OK.
- 2/5
The room was clean staff was pleasant but we had at the 10 drunk people fighting in the room next to ours. I don’t know how staff didn’t hear them and kick them out. It was ridiculously loud all night long.
- 4/5
The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Very basic amenities. Grounds could use a renovation as they aren’t the cleanest. But for the price, easy parking near rooms and convenience to freeway it’s great for those on a budget.
- 5/5
Very lovely grounds. Very welcoming to my dog. Friendly staff.
- 1/5
definitely not no $200+ AT ALL!!!!
- 1/5
Worst bed and breakfast let’s not talk about it
- 5/5
Staff is helpful
- 5/5
Poor choices for breakfast. Lacking in foods that a diabetic can eat. Lack of food with protein.
- 5/5
Comfortable clean rooms. Extremely friendly knowledgeable and helpful staff. Easy to drive to downtown Davis and the UC DAVIS Campus. I wish there was some protein included in the breakfast
- 4/5
I love the room and the cleanliness of the hotel. Overall a great experience!
- 5/5
Great. Will come back
- 4/5
Excellent price for Davis = as compared to other hotels.
- 4/5
Parking was easy staff was very kind. Breakfast was very bare but a good stay
- 5/5
Very easy check in, clean room I was happy with my stay and the price was nice. Check out was funny it was a guy on a screen on a little stand
- 5/5
It was really clean and the staff was really helpful. I would recommend this place if everyone is looking for a cheap hotel with really good amenities and services. Definitely coming back here again soon.
- 5/5
Extremely spacious room. Clean throughout property. Staff very helpful and gave great advice for businesses in area. Quiet.
- 2/5
The room is very noisy. The breakfast is awful. Not basic items such as eggs etc.
- 5/5
Very nice for the rate, and would stay again. Breakfast options were average...breads, cereals, coffee, and juice. The water pressure seemed a bit low. Overall...a very nice stay.
- 2/5
Not the cleanest or the quietest place to stay over night
- 3/5
When arrived I stood in the empty lobby for 3-5 min before being helped at 4 pm. Called the front desk multiple times during my stay and never answered. Went down and heard the receptionist laughing behind a closed door for a while before i had to make some sounds so he knew i was out there, there was no bell.Other than that it was an okay stay. Building smelt good, and seemed clean, extremely thin walls more than usual at hotels but seemed like a safe enough and clean enough location if you just need somewhere to stay. Breakfast was instant oatmeal, toast, cereal, yogurt.
- 2/5
No sleep at all
- 1/5
Wasn’t even a human to check in with, had to yell into a screen to a video chat. Place looks nothing like the pictures, not themed at all. People yelling all night and parking lot felt unsafe with people walking around and smoking. Would not go to again.
- 5/5
Spacious room and comfortable bed. Does the job for budget looking for reasonabe accommodations without frills.
- 5/5
Very very cute and in a nice secluded area! This was one of my stops for a trip and it was very peaceful resting here. The room is pretty big too which is a plus!!
- 4/5
We didn’t use any facilities
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was nice.
- 5/5
Limited, orange juice was watered down
- 4/5
Great alternative to more popular hotels in the area and still close to everything you want to do in Davis and Sacramento.
- 5/5
My GoTo hotel in Davis!
- 5/5
I recommend this hotel to everyone!!
- 5/5
Clean room, bathroom was great. The individual who checked us in was very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent at the front desk and room was clean and relaxing.
- 1/5
The guests to our left kept us up till about 2am. I get they were a large family but they were fighting, screaming, slamming doors. Didn’t take into consideration that other people travel from far and needed some rest. The pillows were stained pink. There’s mold on the shower rods and bathroom. Other than that everything else was ok for what I paid
- 2/5
I had to switch rooms the tv was not working. My new room was ok. Upstairs room above mine had a dog at 2 am running around. The breakfast was bad.
- 5/5
Clean room and comfortable bed
- 5/5
Clean toom
- 4/5
Also too many emails sent about confirmation of room. Kinda overkill!
- 3/5
The breakfast choices could be better. More would be appreciated!
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet!!! Great price too!!!
- 4/5
Very helpful staff, room was clean.
- 5/5
Our room was very comfortable and the staff was wonderful!
- 3/5
Checking in is a chore. You have to use a Kiosk and talk to someone overseas who doesn’t focus on you, and takes other calls while they’re trying’ to help you check in. There was no microwave in the room. I asked them to refund my early check in fee to compensate for the missing microwave. I had to haggle with them.then the WiFi stopped working and it kept going in and out. I asked for the refund again to compensate for all the issues I’m having. They promised to refund me. Never got the refund. This place needs better training and customer service.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 3/5
Not sure why this place has great reviews. The breakfast is VERY limited - just bread, oatmeal, apples, yogurt, & cereal - that's all, nothing else. The walls are paper thin & you can hear everything going on. There is limited to no staff present at the hotel, most things are done through a person on a monitor in the lobby. Not even sure if there is security on the premise, thank goodness it's Davis & it's relatively safe. We are thankful the room was really spacious & housekeeping was great. Wouldn't stay here again although we got a great black Friday rate. If you're paying more than $100 a night its NOT worth it, definitely still like staying at the Days Inn that it was before renovations.
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Clean room, nice amenities, safe area, shopping nearby and cute town.
- 5/5
The rooms here are always spotless
- 5/5
I liked it. Everywhere is clean, well-maintained.
- 5/5
The location is within 10 minutes from work so if i need a break, i can go to my room. Its very clean and beds are comfortable. Also the staff is very nice.
- 5/5
Quiet location, clean inside and out.
- 5/5
Well done
- 5/5
Stayed here twice this year. Clean rooms, lots of parking.
- 4/5
Clean, modern room
- 5/5
Great room, clean and modern.
- 5/5
excellent stay
- 5/5
Don't remember
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, plus we liked the decor. Also, the staff was pleasant and courteous, and there was an ample variety of foods to choose from for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and the place was very clean
- 4/5
Surprise there was only one USB charging outlet--that lost power when the front door switch was turned off.
- 1/5
Terrible double booked my room and there was people in my room and it caused a huge ary
- 4/5
It’s clean and safe. I think recently remodeled, so it’s nice, but the walls are thin. We could hear every conversation next to us and every bed spring above us.
- 4/5
Close to downtown yet just far enough away from it too. Very clean but had a few equipment issues (no power to charge on my side of the bed, iron holder not secure to wall) . Overall good experiences
- 5/5
Everything was great. Got value for what we paid for. Great location, easy parking, and friendly staff.
- 1/5
I have called not once but three times to speak to a manager. And Everytime they are demanding who I am and won’t let me talk to her. This hotel was awful. Ended up getting moved rooms bc we were locked out each time we left. Then when we got moved the fire Alarm kept beeping for 7 nights when we were told someone would come fix it the next morning. The room we got moved to also didn’t have a microwave and was smaller than our original room…We spent 7 nights here and I would never stay here ever again. We spent a LOT of money for this hotel. No reimbursement for anything.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, free continental breakfast. Our cable went out and someone came immediately and fixed it within 5 minutes. Easy access to freeway. Air conditioned. Great place to stay for Aftershock.
- 5/5
The room was clean. They made the bed and took out the trash everyday. Host was great.
- 5/5
Beautiful place
- 5/5
Very clean and quite environment.
- 3/5
AC stopped working and had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night. The AC device needed a new battery and they could not change it.
- 5/5
Im a regular at prodigy and love it here.
- 4/5
It was good, clean and big enough for a hotel but some “ stuff” wasn’t the greatest, supplies for the coffee area were just unbelievable cheap not even coffee creamer 🙄, towels were so thin or maybe old that stains were so obvious, they gave me only 1 set, 1 of each, tissue paper (toilet paper) was already used and maybe more than 1/2 way over, 2 roll was small too. Anyway not enough basic toiletries as any hotel should provide for the money you pay for it. They offer breakfast, lite breakfast so expect a super basic lite breakfast. Giving 4 starts because the place was clean and quiet even though many reviewed the opposite.
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
loved non carpet floor. the am breakfast sucked. just cerial amd basic bread for toast. and yogurt. no protein (other wudham hotel had waffles sausage bacon and packaged hard boil eggs. disappointed in breakfast
- 5/5
Overall good stay for a few nights. There are no elevators and the Kiosk check in felt cold. I am all for technology and absolutely love all my apps and the convenience. However, the hotel industry is just not the place for kiosk check in. You lose the personalization and the ability to wholeheartedly speak to individual and ask about local things to do. Other than that the place was clean and the room was great.
- 5/5
I really thought this was a nice hotel. The bed was hard as a rock tho
- 4/5
That said, I would definitely stay there again since it was clean, reasonably priced and pet friendly.
- 1/5
Dirty and had ants
- 5/5
We had a stressful move with our dogs and this was the perfect place to stay. The room was nice and spacious. Also, there was a ton of space to walk the dogs.
- 3/5
I did not like the virtual check-in with a live person on a computer screen. We checked-in around 10:30pm. There was no vending machine or snack shop on site. They did offer cold water, but had to fill two cups in Building 1 and then walk to Building 3, opening two sets of doors while trying to hold two cups of water. It was also a bit pricey.
- 5/5
Great value. Clean and welcoming. Wished we had more lenens in room
- 5/5
The weekend here at prodigy was great as usual. Its conveniently located near the freeway and alot of store & restaurants.
- 4/5
I like this place. Have stayed twice. Reasonably priced and clean and smells good. The coffee this time around, and the breakfast, were both disappointing. The coffee was watery and the breakfast selection was for kindergartners.
- 5/5
The couple dsys i stayed was great
- 3/5
Super clean, comfortable rooms, however no on site restaurant or bar as advertised, only a "paint store and a Dominoes Pizza" the staff stated instead, which have clearly been there a while, so the online description should have been updated as it is misleading. If you want a clean and comfy room, then this is for you, but seriously limited ambience.
- 4/5
Nice newly remodeled but breakfast was a joke. Would not stay here again with kids if you want a decent breakfast included
- 4/5
The breakfasts had no options even for a continental breakfast. The coffee didn’t taste like anything.. but it was safe and clean.
- 4/5
When you consider cost, location, condition and service this place is a strong 4/8 out of 10. I stayed here during the week for about 4 weeks while my dog got radiation treatment at UC Davis. Generally a very clean and well appointed place - it looks like something out of Palm Springs with the separate buildings, palms and green spaces. Well kept pool are (somewhat small) and grounds are pleasant. Rooms clean. Some rooms slow to get hot water, safe but not the best location in Davis but all in all not bad - they accept dogs for a reasonable fee which I appreciate
- 4/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Very good
- 3/5
The place was nice for a stay, but I chose it mainly because it advertised with breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast was disappointing—just coffee and white bread with butter. They did have some apples, but I was expecting something more substantial, like eggs and milk or at least a more decent selection.
- 5/5
I simply needed a clean room for the night, and the quality of room was much higher than expected. I’ve paid more for less, so this was a pleasant surprise and I’ll be happy to stay here again next time I’m in Davis.
- 3/5
Room is very loud, i can hear everything in the hallway, above me and the rooms on the sides. The remodel was shotty coving not fully completed in the restroom, partical board vanity falling apart at the corner and grout lines in shower showing cracks. The floor is uneven and the linoleum is cracked at the bathroom door. The bedding had a bunch of sheets on it. No extra blanket in the clothet. Had to bring in my own sleeping bag. Breakfast. No oj, no coffee and no milk for the cereal. I told the lady and she seamed annoyed.
- 5/5
Room was clean.
- 5/5
A few more good food options like eggs and waffles. Coffee was very weak. Everything was tidy and staff was very nice. Thank you we had a lovely stay.
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 5/5
Very convenient for staying for a soccer tournament.
- 1/5
There was literally someone on a screen on a zoom call to check in… no one at the desk to help. Breakfast was a joke… I would not recommend
- 4/5
Check-in and out was easy, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was kind of a let down, parking was easy, nice bathrooms, walls are VERY thin, hear full blown conversations of our neighbors next door. We already rebooked for a trip in the fall.
- 5/5
Staff was great, they also have technology options for fast check in and out. Clean, nice, very convenient spot!
- 3/5
We needed a safe clean place for a last minute stay along our travels. Prodigy delivered a clean room and a quiet night's sleep. The free breakfast failed to meet our needs as there was only bread and cereal.
- 3/5
Dark parking and it needs to be paved
- 4/5
Nice property, very few options available for breakfast, but just enough. Nice area with downtown davis not too far. Would stay here again if I am ever in the area
- 4/5
Rooms are clean and spacious, the place is decent enough for the price point.
- 5/5
Such a quiet and clean place kid friendly staff was most accommodating. Very Clean Comfortable. Will book there again!
- 5/5
Clean rooms and quiet.
- 5/5
I’ll stay again
- 4/5
My only complaint is that you can hear everybody walking above you, every noise, every conversation, every step they take. As well as customers next-door.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay.
- 3/5
There were no hooks for towels near shower or sink. Registration took longer than expected even when we pre checked in.
- 4/5
The property was clean and the staff was very nice. We were able to use the gym next door which was top notch. The pool was clean and refreshing. The only reason I did not give a five was the continental breakfast was sorely lacking. A McDonald’s was just down the street so it was fine. It was the best rate around and would recommend it.
- 5/5
Comfortable bed. Nice pool. Super pleasant and helpful front desk evening staff.
- 3/5
Ok for the price, no front desk you use a remote kiosk to check in, was broken and someone was working on it at checkin. Room had smoke smell and thin walls heard neighbors yelling at 5 am.
- 4/5
Recently renovated
- 5/5
Receptionist was great! Clean rooms and beds.
- 5/5
The only thing that was a little bit of challenge was the signage outside. It’s VERY low to the ground and I missed it on the first drive by.
- 2/5
The room wasn’t clean. Shower curtain torn. The floor was dirty
- 4/5
Good property Fairly priced, would stay again.
- 3/5
The floor we stayed on smelt like weed. Rooms were okay, clean, but needs some updating
- 5/5
This place was great. The price was right...better than ive seen in awhile. The condition of the property was pristine. The only thing i didnt like was the kiosk check in and out. It was live but not in person. Also there was no directive on where our room was located on the property. So i wandered around the first building then realized there were several buildings on the property. But other than that i really enjoyed my stay and will be going back. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Quiet, convenient location for our overnight stop when driving to Oregon. This was our third stay here and some standards seem to be dropping. Hall and stair carpets looked dirty, our bath tub did not drain and the breakfast offerings were lacking compared to previous visits (no yoghurts or bananas).
- 5/5
great location less than 5 miles from UC Davis. property set back away from road, quiet clean, friendly. Close to market gas and restaurants.
- 5/5
Check in was completed virtually at the lobby kiosk. Jorge was very helpful and took care of what we needed despite not being on site. The hotel was near and clean, and the rooms were modern and updated. Very spacious and not cramped. The pool was refreshing and clean and checking and check out was simple and easy. Will stay again
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
The staffer, Janet, was helpful when we checked in. She mentioned that the gym was around back. When I walked back to the gym it wasn’t even opened unaware to Janet. Please list the times of your “fitness center” on your listing. The property was safe and the continental breakfast was ok.
- 1/5
Bed bugs in room 306. Worried that we might bring them home.
- 3/5
This is a very basic hotel. Parking near room is available and rooms are fairly large and quiet. Fridge even has a good size freezer for a motel fridge. Beds are average. Not hard, not soft. The plantation style shutters let in a lot of light from the large lights around the property. This is a fairly economical hotel compared to others in the area so expect a lot of kids from area sports teams on weekends.
- 5/5
Great property. The family gym youbhave access to as a guesst is great.
- 5/5
Remodeled rooms and great amenities. Had a great stay
- 5/5
This was the third or fourth time we have stayed here on our way to Los Angeles. We like the area and its a nice place to stay.
- 1/5
The room was very clean and comfortable - tastefully decorated. The cleaning ladies were so polite and helpful getting me settled. My biggest disappointment and complaint was the last of customer service at check-in/out. Talking to a kiosks is not the same as someone at the desk. Is this the way of saving money - because of this I would never stay there again.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was quiet, clean and the location was perfect. The staff was very professional. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
- 3/5
The interior security lock was broken and missing pieces. The reading lights also did not work. The front desk is virtual there appears to be no staff or security in the evenings.
- 5/5
Sometimes finding the right place to turn into the parking lot can be tricky. It’s right next to the paint shop.
- 5/5
It’s very excellent estay
- 5/5
Thank you for everything
- 5/5
Pleasant, back bldg very quiet
- 4/5
Liked the convenient location of the property. Could use a larger sign to make the hotel more visible from Chiles Road since it is set back.
- 5/5
Fast and easy check in
- 3/5
the virtual check in and my reservation didnt sync from expedia which was a little stressful
- 4/5
Great value. Large rooms. Nice, safe setting.
- 4/5
Nice and quiet! Very comfortable bed!
- 5/5
Love it.

Hot water ran out on the second night of our two-night stay. We returned from an all-day event at 10:00PM, I reported the situation immediately and was told it was a "general" problem and that the manager was coming to address it. No other remedies were offered, including a transfer of rooms or a time frame on when the issue would be fixed. It continued until the next day, which I reported, again with no remedy for the situation and no manager on-site for the duration of our stay. My children were competing all day on Saturday and unable to shower afterward.

The breakfast menu is very limited to bagels coffee fruit and toast. Not the best but not the worst

clean with a modern look. great for pets with a dedicated grass area for your dogs. pillows were super soft and fluffy. they only charged me one night for the pet stay which was great. I would stay here again next time I'm in Davis/Sacramento area.

I’d rather just check in with a person behind the counter. I wasn’t keen on the kiosk.

It was very mid. Not as nice as the pics and understandable for the lower rate.

This hotel was fine. It was clean and comfortable enough. I would stay again, but it wouldn’t be my first choice. Ceiling and walls were thin and easy to hear people above and next door. Needs better window coverings to keep light out since there was an outdoor light on the whole night. Would like more than one small towel per person provided and a hook for a hand towel.

I love that it's a pet friendly hotel, and has dog poopy bags provided outside as well as a lot of grass for the pets to roam

I like the pool area although I’ve never swim in the pool I’ve stayed there for the last two years when I came to see my son. I come in from Iowa.

Really great stay for visiting UC Davis. Literally minutes away from campus. Crazy clean. And we always think continental breakfasts are typically old leftovers, the Prodigy was perpetually restocking with great bagels, soy milks, yogurts, fresh fruits, cereals, etc. Not a buffet by any means. Arguably healthier and better :)

Nice place when you need a quick stay for the weekend. Quiet and calm. Free parking. Room was nice and clean. Only tough part was finding the place and then finding the room. They don’t have a good map for where your room is

Also no elevator to get to 2nd floor was a pain with luggage.

Free parking, continental breakfast and easy check in. A lot of other reviewers did not enjoy the kiosk check in but i personally found it was very easy and much quicker than expected so appreciated that.

Sounded like a fan running somewhere. It was clean and a comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful customer service.

This property was great! The beds and pillows were super comfy. The location was easily accessible. The staff was super friendly. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the size of the shower, but it was still clean and it was what it was. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and shower had great water pressure. Comfortable bed. Close to public transportation and easy property to park car. Property walkable to Nugget Market. Would definitely stay again.
