The property was disgusting. We checked in our room and found mold in the windows seal and walls. We were moved to two different rooms after and each room had mold and smelled like mold. I notified the staff with pictures as well and nothing was done. I didnt feel safe to stay there so we canceled our reservation. 10/10 definitely would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beds comfortable MUSTY, MILDEWY in room. No ventilation at all. Power issues with lamp sockets couldn't get Power to cpap machine, had to pull the bed away from the wall for an outlet that wasn't hardly even anchored to the wall . All hand sanitizer stations throughout the lobby, dinning area completely empty and no soap in lobby bathrooms. We had another room booked for Monday and we canceled it, we will not book here again .

NOTHING The room had a smell, a whole in the wall and the bathroom looked to have mold. I ended up checking out the same day.

The morning front desk staff were rude!! The room was ok, but the bath/shower needs repair! The air condition didn’t work well. We had to put the temperature at 66 to cool down the room to a comfortable temp.

The staff was not at the front desk at check in they had to be located by the cleaning lady. The hotel and the second floor smelled odd very very powerful cleaning supplies. Like they wanted to mask about smell. The room we stayed in was horrible. The AC did not work consistently, the toliet seat lid was only covering about 75%of the toilet. There was no toliet paper holder. Some of the hotel products were ripped off the wall. The water pressure in the shower was so high it hurt to shower in there. Breakfast was not good. Some products were expired. Informed the person when checking out and got told oh well I just work here. That was horrible customer service. I wasted money on this room and hotel. I am sure a motel 6 would have been nicer. I can not give it less then 1star, but I would. Not worth it. Stay away from this hotel.

Worker never greeted us or even spoke to us. Our A/C didn't work and we had to move rooms. Another party came to our room saying they were just assigned to our room. One morning at 6:45am someone was trying to get into our room. The front staff gave room cards out to people who left their card in the room or were tired of waiting for the other person to arrive with the key. This happened on the first night we were there and the second night we were there. The front staff never asked for ID or even a name but just asked for the room number and gave the person the card. Very unsafe. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was a good size but that standup shower needs to be redone. It was rusty and peeling. The furniture in the room was stained and very visible. We didn’t sit on the chair or the couch. Our stay overall was great but those things need to be updated ASAP

Breakfast menu terrible. They allow smoking inside the rooms. The whole interior of the building has a stench of marijuana whole day long. It seem to be like a traffic point for some characters.

The room was in a state of disrepair, as if it hadn’t been maintained in a while. The shower was filthy, with broken pieces. The shower curtain was dirty, and the couch had a stain on it. The overall appearance of the room was unkempt and unpleasant. Despite these conditions, we decided not to stay the night, even though we had only been there for a few hours.

Breakfast wasn’t fresh. The eggs were old. Police patrolled the parking because of previous vehicle break ins.

The overall quality was very poor. My room had multiple stains on the carpet and walls. The smell was bad, the couch was old, dirty, and falling apart. the overall stay was very uncomfortable. I decided not to stay in the room, even though I paid for it.

The blanket was covered in large yellow stains and dark brown spots all over the inside lining. When I held it up to the light, the stains were even more visible and spread across multiple sections of the blanket. It looked dirty, unsanitary, and honestly pretty disturbing. This is something that should never be on a guest bed. Blankets should be washed between guests or at the very least inspected before putting them back on the bed. Seeing something like this immediately makes you question what else in the room hasn’t been cleaned properly. I shouldn’t have to inspect bedding like a crime scene just to feel comfortable sleeping. Extremely disappointed. This is basic hotel hygiene, and it was clearly ignored here.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We checked in to a room with only one working power outlet and a rusted grimey shower with no water pressure. We chose this hotel because we were needing an extended stay and they advertised a guest laundry. When I went to use the laundry room I loaded all of my clothes and poured detergent into the machine, added at least $4 in quaters to notice the machine wouldn't work. When i addressed this with the front desk, they simply shrugged and said it wasnt their problem. Once I was obviously frustrated by this answer an extremely confrontational male employee came out and started yelling about my attitude and almost seemed to want to start an altercation. After not feeling safe with the staff and unsatisfied with the room, we packed our bags and left after only 2 nights of a 5 night stay.

When they say breakfast is until 9:30 am you better make sure you are there by 9am. They start putting things away 15 minutes early and they are not good at keeping things stocked. I had to ask for a yogurt and she only brought 1 out for me. Halfway through our stay the elevator broke. There was no communication or help when this occured. Our room was on the 4th floor (top floor) and I was clearly having difficulty walking with a brace on my leg. There was no appology, no offer for a 1st floor room change and no information as to when it may be fixed. At the end or our stay it still was not fixed! We had to lug everything down four flights of steps. The railings in the stairwell had multiple spots where they were not attached to the wall and even though it was clearly stated that the facility was a non smoking facility, it stunk of smoke and there was a pack of cigarettes in the stairwell. There is not a smart TV so if you want to stream anything (such as a football game), you will not be able to. On a positive note, the beds are comfortable.

Room was clean. Staff was very friendly including housekeeping when we were leaving a few minutes after the actual checkout time. Breakfast was good. The hotel seems to be fairly new but there was tile around the bottom of the bathroom that was coming off. Bathroom needs a little attention on ceiling and bathroom fan didn’t work so wasn’t sure if it was mold on ceiling of bathroom. Other than that everything was good. I loved how spacious the room was being it was my mom, my sister, & myself visiting my aunt for Thanksgiving. I would stay again

The staff was nice and very helpful. The heat didn’t work in our original room and the staff was helpful in moving us to a different room. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom door does need to be repaired and the sofa cleaned. Breakfast was plus. The hotel fit the need we had.

Do not stay at this place. There were two dead roaches in my room. The customer service was subpar, I had to keep getting my room key redone whenever I left the room. The water pressure was non existent. The room had dirty walls and they didn't clean the shower. The thermostat screen was busted. The laundry room was out of order and I needed to do laundry. Save yourself a headache and stay somewhere else!!

The room was disgusting and should not be available to the public until updated. I had not choice but to stay there because of my late check in and the major football game happening in the city. I have photos to share the bad experience.

Overall this was good place to stay. Very clean, bice rooms and breakfsat was good. What failed for me to give an excellent rating was security. At some point the hotel issued a room key to another guest or hotel staff attempted to enter my room at 1am while i was sleeping. This is a serious security issue as this could have ended badly.

Need to revamp bathrooms.

The bathroom shower was extremely molded and rusted. Stains on the sofa and through the carpet. During my stay I asked for linen for the sofa bed and it never came, so I called again and the front said “I thought you were coming to get it”. I was never advices to come down, poor communication.

My truck was stolen on on oct 1st and hotel management was not helpful at all... it took them 27hrs to hand over the camera footage to the police dept... robberies have been a re occuring thing on that hotel...so b careful

I still need to contact the manager about this situation. Manager not on duty on the weekends! The situation totally unsafe. I had children in the room as well. That could had been a very bad situation IF a couple variables were different. Back to the room, floors stained, walls stained, sheets stained, furniture stained - everything filthy. Bathroom nasty. The property needs an upgrade. I was really disgusted. Again, room smelled HORRIBLE!!! We only needs to stay 2 nights. Thank goodness. Breakfast was BAD!!! They are so cheap. Super watered down juices in the morning. Every guest complained during breakfast time about it. It was well known both mornings. But no one cares. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Convenient location. But not worth it. Stay elsewhere.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not good. Cold coffee - had to heat it on the microwave! How does that even happen? Eggs, sausage room temperature. Apple and orange juice diluted with no flavor. We think it must have been an inexperienced person handling it.

This was an unpleasant stay. The shower pressure was low, which was unsat. The shower stall was unclean. The toilet clogged and the desk clerk gave me a plunger (?!!). Towels in the room were stained with a purple color. WiFi was inoperable during my entire stay, which disrupted planned work that didn't get completed.. I asked the clerk who stated she couldn't help at all. There was no chair to sit outside.

I had a reservation for 2 rooms. 1 was fine the second one air didn’t work it had stuff plastered on the walls and carpet I reported this 5 mins after walking into the room. They tried to fix the air and told us to wait I waited. And waited and finally called down again then they finally gave us a new second room.

Love the location, near restaurants. I wished for better security like scanning card so front doors to open because late night i didn't see anyone at front desk.

The bathroom was the only problem we really had. In the shower, the floor was a little slippery. The tile in the shower was peeling off/away from the wall. There was a large rust spot that leaked water from the shower all over the floor. There were no racks at all to hang towels or rags. No exhaust fan. No grab bars in the shower, as this was a handicap room. There was a toothbrush on the floor, on the side of the nightstand. I'm not sure why it was so far from the bathroom. Alot of the grout around the tub floor was rusting and peeling. The bathroom looked to be a rushed job. Room 108.

Easy check in Nice Lobby clean hotel Very spacious room. I had a few flaws in bathroom ceiling in 302 king suite also a few flaws here and there some small but noticeable aging and maintenance spots in my room and throughout the property but nowhere near a dump rundown unsafe or anything like that. Very nice breakfast. Nice free snack tray from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm that humus is so delicious oh you get 2 free drinks At the bar also from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm basic wines and well liquors available I think you can also get a beer I think? one bartender was really cool the other was ok not bad just kinda more of a militant presence and a bit harder to communicate and connect with but not rude or inattentive. I just clicked with the other guy way better. now the bar food menu is kinda weak.The pizza is so weak kinda bland and tasteless nothing special the fettuccine is so nasty azz a cheap dollar store microwave fettuccine tastes better. Waste of 20 bucks same as that pizza. I ordered this shrimp dish thing that came in a glass cup all chopped up in some kinda salsa juicy lime aid stuff. The presentation was just awful it looked messy yucky soupy watery. But It was kinda tasty I must admit. ( mind you I had a few shots and several modelos) that might have been a factor in my opinion of it being tasty. LOL. The buffalo wings or any wings are your most likely your best bet there. They had a few other things I didn’t try on menu but From what I tried the wings were the best tasting.

First day, asked housekeeping if she was going to clean the room and replace towels and she said no. No housekeeping first day. Refrigerator temp dial broke unable to adjust fridge temp. Plug on lamp broken. Had to run cord for CPAP across to sitting area. Room had a musky smell.

My stay at Comfort Suites Desoto was trash. Stains on the carpet, cracked flooring in the tub, dirty grout between tiles in the tub. Looked like the it was not thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom’s hair dryer was burnt and damaged. The television would not work due to the coaxial hook up being pushed in and not able to connect to the cable. No WiFi on our 4th floor at all. I stayed in 423. I had work to do and couldn’t use my laptop unless I came down to the lobby. They could not accommodate me with another room. The desk managers contacted the owner to rectify the complaints but no correspondence was sent to address the issues. The desk managers tried to reach the owner and they were ignored and couldn’t provide us with a solution. I booked for two days and they only refunded me one day. Please do not book at this hotel unless it’s for a quick booty call. Just trash!

The room had a water spot in the ceiling and pieces of sheetrock/plaster were on the floor the last night.

Upon entering the hotel I had just paid $220 for…I noticed a few things. Didn’t want to sit down on the sofa…there were white stains of liquid that had dripped down and never cleaned. Then what appeared to be a cigarette burned hole in the seat of the sofa- in a non smoking room. Then I stepped on a piece of patchwork carpet that had a nail sticking out…so I went to the bathroom and there was a small toilet seat over a different shaped toilet bowl with a big gap in between the 2…the toilet paper holder was broken so loose toilet paper was soaked every time it fell on the floor with showers and swim towels- took a shower and both discs were loose at the end of the shower rod and kept sliding forward with caulking hanging off…the dresser drawers didn’t close right and were filthy with stains down the front. We went to the pool because it was 102 and same problem with the pool appliances- my 3 year old grabbed the metal handrail to enter the pool and it wasn’t secure, moved all over the place and she went tumbling down the steps- pool was dirty, but the pool net was broken and the net was ripped along one side so unable to scoop debris out of the pool. We were literally there just to sleep before and after baseball games but I was VERY disappointed.

I found 3 roaches on the bed

Killed baby roaches in bathroom every morning, bc of that I had to be on alert and shake my bags every day Incase they got into them. When reported all that was said was sorry you can email manager after stay....no refund or at least partial credit given. Credit card machine never worked when needing to purchase snacks

Not happy with my stay at all! We had to change rooms 3 times. Checked in after 4 and our room was not cleaned, the cleaning lady was still cleaning and didn't do a good job at all. So we changed to an another room that was still being cleaned and was not done yet. So we changed to another room that smelled horrible like mold, and sure enough mold was on the curtains above the air conditioner. So we moved back to the first room that was suppose to be cleaned and it smelled horrible as well, blankets didn't seem clean and stains all over the couch as if someone threw up. Will not be staying again.

This Hotel was very clean, staff was courteous, professional, and friendly. The rooms were nice.The only problem was that the pool was not open and it's June in Texas and this is my 2nd stay here with no pool. That is the only problem, but it's major for us.

Went down to eat breakfast for 6:15 was told I had to wait until 6:30. If I would have known I would have purchased something to take with my medical. Ask the lady if I could just have a biscuit and she said I had to wait. So sad I almost passed out. My husband went get us breakfast

We got in late the first day & we’re so tired from traveling 7 hours and we went straight to sleep. When we woke up the next morning and held the comforter up, with the light shining in we noticed how DISTGUSTING it was. it was filled with holes and looked molded on the inside. it was filled with feathers and they kept coming out of the holes. It was gross. We could not move rooms because they were sold out so we were forced to go buy a blanket and sleep only on that. This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had, as i’m usually not a complainer at all.

It LOOKS clean upon initial inspection. However, can tell they have never washed the down comforter. Held it up to the light and was disgusted. The stuffing was brown. No telling what was in it. Also housekeeping really did nothing but change out towels. Didn’t even give a new role of toilet tissue even though the one we had was clearly running out. There were random brown and black stains on carpet and ceiling. Shower screw had rust. Didn’t feel like they actually clean-just do a quick wipe down to make it look like it is.

Not sure how old but not that old. The shower in my room had a few things that need to be repair.

About what you expect for a hotel in this price range other than the cleanliness. The overall cleanliness was poor, stains on the floor, couch, and chairs. One wall was covered in a visible sticky residue. My room had a mini kitchen but I didn't feel good about touching anything in it.

Love your campus in Desoto, Tx but you have a slight pest (bug, roach) issue. Pesticide spraying of rooms needed.

Room was clean and spacious. Intercontinental breakfast was good and hot. They had eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, and other items. Staff were friendly. The plugins on the bed lamps didn't work and there was a bad odor of marijuana in the hallways. I would stay again, just have to deal with the weed smell.

From the moment I walked in, the entire hotel reeked of weed—even my room. The smell was so strong it made my throat hurt. The room was clean, but the carpet was disgusting, covered in unidentifiable stains. Breakfast was a joke with barely any options. Definitely not worth staying here.
