Overall, my stay was good. The only complaint I have is that the floor- not carpeted, was dirty and full of hair, which means it wasn't swept or mopped prior to our stay, and hair kept getting all over my shoes and slippers, which is disgusting to me. The fitness center was nice.

Was perfect for what it was. Nothing too fancy, but it was clean, safe, and employees were friendly. Lamps are kinda weird by the nightstand and if you like your room super cold, I would bring a fan with you, but otherwise, a great hotel!

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever experienced. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. Housekeeping is absolutely wonderful on the up keep of the property and rooms. Will most definitely refer and return. Thank you for my 5 star stay!

We had such a wonderful stay here! The hotel was very clean, family-friendly, and had so many fun activities for kids to enjoy. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. We accidentally left my daughter’s bunny in the room as we were leaving, and one of the male staff members actually ran it down to us before we drove away. Such a small act that meant the world to my daughter. So incredibly sweet and appreciated. Thank you for making our stay extra special!

I requested a handicap accessible room while i am grateful to have been on the 1st floor;there were no safety bars in the shower nor near the the extremely low toilet.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with different choices. Room was clean and neat. The non smoking policy is a very good thing. Some guests are disrespectful and we could smell some marihuana smoking. I would recommend it. Some people complain about the noise from the highway; it didn’t bother me at all.

I called for more towels on day 2 and was told to come get them. Channels would not work and front desk said I’m not sure what to do. Online says pool when we get there it’s a hot tub and that area really needs to be power washed. Pool needs to be drained and cleaned well. It’s pretty evident there is mold grown in the corners. He said it’s cleaned every morning. Lies. Family hotel but young front staff not too welcoming

The pool was very small...and the hip hop or rap music was disturbing when i was eating breakfast , waiting for my room to be ready for checkin. I was early.

Free breakfast and the rooms were very nice and clean When I pay my deposit I was told that we supposed to have in return it still haven’t got it back yet it’s almost been a month.

They then sent us to the wrong room (smaller room than the one we paid for), once we did get the correct room there was hair in the shower and on the floor in a couple spots. Rotten food, dog hair, and a few other things under the ac unit, sticky residue on the table and leg rest, stains on both different chairs In the room. On top of these things the automatic curtains didnt work, and the room was right next to the pool, the gym, and the houskeeping staff room. We then canceled our almost week long stay, which was a 30 minute process as they needed to confirm the things we were saying was true. Even after this it took 5 days for us to get a confirmation from the hotel that we would get 4 out of our 5 nights of stay refunded.

There was something on one of my towels and the walls are thin. You can hear everything through the walls despite being notified of the quiet hours from 9pm to 9am.

Staff were nice. Location is great. The toilet paper in restroom was terrible, you walk out of the bathroom with a paperfest in your pants. There was a the strong smell of Fabuloso entering the hotel. I didn’t like how the parking lot was behind the hotel and we weren’t allowed to use back doors. We had to lug our luggage from car all the way to the single entrance in front of building.

I checked in at 6:30pm and left at 11:00 pm because the front desk people refused to go upstairs to ask the people to stop stomping and to much running. I had a 4 week old baby seemed like every time she dose off they start running and stomping again. The front manger was lazy and didn't believe in taking care of business

Once i walked in it smelled very good and everything looked very clean, check in was easy and the front desk agent was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and they gave a good variety of different options including drink options as well. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The staff is awesome. Very helpful, and informative. The rooms are very retro. With popping colors. I absolutely love the style. The rooms are clean AF...ijs. i stay here everytime I'm in Dallas which is at least every 4-6 weeks. The breakfast is available a little to early for me but the one time i did go down there it was hot and fresh with a variety of great choices. If youre in Desoto check them out. You willbe happy you did. Oh and the gym is clean and well equipped.

Nice hotel but difficult to check in. You have to run your credit card twice to even check in. The room is not cleaned unless for it to be done. We had no notice in our room or the front desk telling us that. Good clean hotel, great price, good breakfast.

The room had a horrible odor. I called the front desk to let them know it smelled really bad in the room. The front desk clerk came up to our room and soon as I opened the door he said o my.. yea I smell it. He came back up with a plug in that didn’t help at all. He said he would be back in a hour but me and my daughter fell asleep. The owner was suppose to contact me but never did. The room smelled like mold.

Horribly hard beds. Kids running up and down hallway and knocking on our door. Lo by was full of kids running around with no supervision and clerk letting it happen. Water all over the floors and in elevator where I had to be careful not to slip. Coffee maker did not heat water.

GLo was great. Had a work trip needed something last minute. Pool was very small although I did not have time to swim. Area has plenty of shops and restaurants. My only concern was a smell in the room. I am almost certain it’s because of the condensation from the a/c besides that it was an overall great experience. Will definitely be back. Breakfast was great as well.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and pleasing to my senses from arrival to departure. In addition, it was only 17 minutes to UTSW, and the registrar gave me directions which included my exit. Very helpful staff. We were also able to purchase a drink for my daughter to take needed medication upon arrival, and she enjoyed breakfast before our departure. Oh, and there was room to park which has not always been the case at other hotels.

Last minute stay. Had good reviews but the room had an odd smell, guest were arguing in the hallway and the guest above our room allowed their kids to run, jump and stomp in the room through the evening. We called the front desk to complain but nothing happened. They did this at night and started again around 6am. Crazy. Anyone with children should be on the first floor. That is what I did when my children were young. Always requested the first floor.

I have never been so disappointed in a stay in my life. My spouse developed allergies after we got here and we went to get a steam machine. The next day we got a call saying we had a smoking alert. Both of us are nonsmokers. They said someone would come check our room and we asked them to please do so. Two Hispanic people came to our room and stood in our doorway speaking Spanish and walked out. They never even came all the way into the room. We heard NOTHING else about it. I asked the front desk attendant the following morning if everything was ok or if we needed to move rooms because of the faulty detector and they said that everything was okay. Then, we received a $100.00 charge out of the blue. We went to the front desk every day for three days asking what this was about. We kept being told “someone will call you and sort this out.” No one ever did. One girl tried to help and said “If they thought you were actually smoking you would be kicked out, so I’m sure it will be returned to you.” This was the first time anyone mentioned it being a smoking fee. Finally, I tracked down the front desk manager, Terry, and she sent a front desk attendant up to our room, Sai, and he went down and told her our room was fine and didn’t smell like smoke and neither did we. She told us to recreate the alarm to get our money back. I’m so offended after spending $1000 on this stay. We’ve already packed up and will never return even though we are here often. Its not about the money.

I really enjoy this particular location. The only downside is its proximity to the nearest highway. The side of the hotel facing the highway gets a lot of road noise.
