Great breakfast food options

This was my second time staying here and the service, staff and amenities offered are worth the price. The property is always well kept and clean.

Liked that there were plenty of spaces where you could hang out and have a coffee and chat. The fitness was excellent, lots of equipment Breakfast was pretty standard. I like fruits like cantelope and pineapple. The breakfast fruit mix was mostly grapes. I picked through it to get to the pineapple and melon, which was a minor thing. But I noticed other guests did the same. Also, the yogurt was dispensed by a machine which literally dropped one dollop at a time into the bowl. Would have been nicer to get a cup of yogurt

During our stay we received a knock on the door, and we were greeted with balloons and a personal birthday cake—something we were not expecting! The staff was very welcoming and provided recommendations for things to do around the area. There was construction around the property that was a little bit of an eyesore. If you are a walker, on the hotel side of the road, there wasn’t a sidewalk to really enjoy some of the scenery. We had to cross a busy highway with very limited time for crossing because of continuous traffic. At the hotel, my family and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast waffles, eggs, sandwiches, and coffee. As far as cosmetics: I love to see possible upgrade to the indoor pool area I feel it has potential to be better my kids loved it either way. Gym on site but we did not use during our stay! Still had a great time! Outstanding performance at DPAC! Thank you to the staff for making this trip memorable for us!

I’ve stayed here a few times and every time it seems to be very well. Taken care of the staff is great it’s clean. They always have some sort of snack. Anything that you need they’re very accommodating. I highly recommend staying here especially if you’re visiting DUKE.

The breakfast was plentiful and had many choices, and the eating area is very pleasant. Our room was very clean and we were very fortunate to get a place on the seventh floor. I was sorry to see that this Hampton has added a $10.00 parking fee, which seems a bit much for self parking your car in their outdoor lot.

Clean, attentive and caring staff Right off a busy highway

The rooms were very clean and spacious with a separate seating area so it was perfect for our family. They went out of their way to celebrate Duke’s graduation weekend and Mother’s Day… decorations, welcome party, lobby snacks, roses for mothers.

The only negative experienced was the shower design caused the bathroom floor to get very wet. There were no extra towels in the room to mop it up with either. Maybe ask for extra towels at check in.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with an amazing selection :) The hotel and surroundings were comfortable, clean, and plenty of places to sit and just relax inside or outside.The indoor pool is a great amenity, but chlorine smell is strong. The room was clean and bed very comfortable . Definitely will stay again:)

Everything there was great when I come in town for the dr it’s my best place to be because you are close to everything. I been here a couple times everyone just as nice as they can be have met some wonderful people here. Any when I got to come back for my hand checkup for having surgery I hope to be able to get a room here

The entire staff was professional, helpful, and ensured we had a great stay. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy, making everything seamless. We were in town for my son’s regional wrestling tournament, and he had to leave super early. Being the mom I am, I made sure he had breakfast from the many delicious, hot and fresh options available. A staff member kindly wrapped it for me so I could take it to him. He loved it, and it helped fuel him for the day. He placed at Regionals! Thank you for such care and hospitality. I wish I remembered her name, but please know how much we appreciated her kindness.

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff was courteous. The room was very clean. The microwave and fridge worked very well. The 24/7 free water (bottle refill station), coffee, and cocoa was the cherry on top!

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn & Suites many times. As might be expected, the Suites are more comfortable, but the Hampton Inn rooms are well-appointed as well. The hot chocolate bar is a nice touch, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. The complementary breakfast offers more variety than most Hampton Inns I have stayed in, though it would be better if they offered different fruit options and more vegetarian options. Their coffee is, er, not the best -- true of any Hampton Inn I have stayed at. But, overall, I think this Hampton Inn and Suites offers a fine blend of comfort, convenience, and economy, and I expect we will continue to stay here when we come to Durham.

Our room was great. I asked for a handicapped accessible room for my dad who is sight impaired. Other than there being a tub in the room it was perfectly safe for him.

This hotel is exceptional. Very nice staff. Everything is very clean. They had holiday games on the tables in the lobby and a hot cocoa bar that my son loved. We had a blast in the pool. The rooms are well maintained. It was a 5 star experience.

Super friendly and helpful staff, plentiful and delicious breakfast options, fitness center and outdoor space with activities. Only downside was that the pillows on the bed were not comfortable.

This is a spacious building, the staff let me into my room early, the breakfast was diverse and the pool was clean and the area tidy.

My Mom was admitted to Duke Hospital Emergency Department and my 4 year old and I had been in our truck all night long. I made the reservation at around 11:30 and I explained the circumstances and they let me and my daughter check in early. They were very nice and empathetic. They gave us snacks and water. The room was very clean and big, plenty of space.

We went downstairs to have breakfast and 2 homeless people walked in and started helping themselves to the buffet. They were touching the food with their hands and no one said anything to them. Definitely makes you not want to eat the free breakfast anymore.

Check in was 3:00 but we did not get a room until 4:30 because it was not ready. We’d been traveling all day long and this was hard for my kids. Otherwise everything was good .

We love Hampton Inn and Suites anywhere but this one is excellent. The area is big with lots of places to sit and relax. Coffee and tea anytime plus homemade cookies late in the afternoon!! Instead of going out to dinner we got takeout so we could enjoy the outdoor seating. Everything is immaculate and the staff is so helpful. We’re very glad we chose this hotel. We’re using their shuttle service tomorrow so I hope that goes as smoothly as everything else.

Awesome breakfast selection. Location is near the interstate for easy travel downtown, airport and other local spots. Very friendly and attendive staff.

I have stayed at this property in the past on the Home2 Suites side, but this time we stayed on the Hampton Inn side. It was great! The room was large and very clean, and it was pretty comfortable. I probably still prefer the Home2 Suite side -- the sofa and kitchenette are hard to beat -- but the room was still better than acceptable.

The air conditioner was horrible very noisy, hot and cold all night couldn’t sleep ever

This hotel is amazing. The rooms have lots of space to move around as well as store you clothing and toiletries. The staff was amazing--never walked by any of the staff where they didn't speak and if appropriate have a conversation. The location was excellent. I couldn't find one thing wrong with the accommodations at this hotel. Would go out of my way to make reservatuibs at this property if I was in the area!

Checked in at registration. Grabbed a luggage cart. Turned to proceed out front doors only to find a black snake coming down sidewalk in front of me. Advised husband in car to proceed with caution. Two employees came to our rescue and were alarmed. This was not in their employee manual. Two maintenance employees came to the rescue. Situation was under control but nerves were frazzled by employees!

Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good- delicious fresh fruit. The only complaint is the food and drinks in the food for pay area was extremely overpriced. A small frozen burrito was over $7.00.

I have stayed in thousands of hotels in this category, and I must say—this was the best experience I’ve ever had. My only minor issue was the inability to fully turn off the air-conditioning unit. I was told that the fan continues to run, even after selecting "off," due to a built-in dehumidifier function. As a Floridian, I understand the need, but the constant buzzing wasn’t my favorite part of the stay.

Priscilla was phenomenal!!! Breakfast, room, bed, pillows, and cleanliness was on point. Would stay here again.

A pleasant stay

1st time staying at a Hilton. My daughter and I are here for an appointment at nearby Duke. The entire facility was very clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed. Staff were very nice and helpful. We felt very safe while there as well. The location is perfect. Lots of places to eat around us as well as a cvs.

Was here to see a surgeon at Duke Medical. Was very convenient and close to everything. Stay was excellent and loved the fact that breakfast was served as well. Had to extend a day due to weather and was no problem at all. Staff were very friendly!

Upon checkin we were greeted with Im sorry Hotels.com overbooked with us and you don't have the room you paid for. We can get you into a different lower graded room but we can't refund the price difference as you booked through Hotels.com. They said that I should have been contacted by Hotels.com to be told about this mishap but obviously I was not! What a disappointment! Not only did we book & pay for a lrg 2 queen suite we also needed the handicap room for my husband who recently had surgery.We got neither! The hotel put us in a king small room not a suite or a handicapped room! When I tried to change rooms as he needed the shower sear& rails they said because the hotel was full with a kids soccer tournament all rooms were full.Very disappointed with the lack of service and terrible attitudes because I booked with Hotels.com. Definitely will not be staying here again and makes me very hesitant to use Hotels.com ever again!

Housekeeping failed us twice in 2 days. Once by leaving our room unlocked and the next day by not even showing up. Manager comped one night, but the second night didn’t seem to care.

Front desk staff friendly. Breakfast nice. Facility clean. Beds okay - nothing over the top comfortable. Was nice having floats and toys for kids in the pool area. Define would stay again.

Not a fan of allowing pets in the hotel. Especially walking through the food area. The dogs were everywhere I turned. Other than that it is a great hotel. Would stay again, even with the dogs :)

New, nice, clean, functional, all the usual. Add 8x Type-2 (11kW) EV chargers in the parking lot and it's perfect. Right on I-85 also.
